Why do you guys think McFarlane didn't make figures of Recom Quaritch or any of the Recoms or Ronal? (Ronal has a tiny one but I wouldn't really count that tbh). I'd love to have more characters on my shelf besides Jake, Neytiri, Tonowari, and Human Quaritch.

chatted with bruce on zoom today!! apparently in addition to announcing the buddy cole doc at his rivoli show he also promoted it in a sirius xm interview he did about the new sketch show he's executive producing (the dessert)!! which is so freaking cool like he's using his platform for a bigger show he's working on to promote a doc i'm directing??? omg???
#also the conversation devolved from talking about crowdfunding logistics to how funny he thought showing off my timeline was in the trailer#and then he was like ''can i see the timeline?'' bc he knows it's just like a permanent feature of my wall now#so of course i had to carry my laptop over to the timeline#which coincidentally is directly under my shelf with all my ghostbusters 2016 stuff#(action figures and funko pops and comic books etc etc)#which was very funny bc he's close friends with paul feig (the director of ghostbusters 2016)#and i was like yeah we're at the point in this friendship where you can see how much of an insane comedy nerd i am by the stuff in my room#also i have a habit of answering with a 'm-hm' sound when he's explaining something and today he was just like#''which 'm-hm' is that? because you have two different responses that sound means''#one is that i'm still processing the new info but want to make sure he knows i agree with the idea#and the other is that i have a contradicting thought but don't want to interrupt his idea#(this m-hm was the first one it was a good idea)#but i'm just sitting here like aww he knows me well enough to pick up on these differences even if i'm not explicitly voicing my thoughts#and he wanted to make sure my opinion would've been considered even if i disagreed!#bruce is such a good mentor i'm so excited to see him next time i'm in town

I don't know why this keeps happening but I keep meeting toxic heterosexual couples who experiment with polyamory and are heavily into funko pops, board games, Disney princesses and Burlesque stripping and the man is always a withdrawn bearded dude and the woman is always a passive aggressive control freak with an Etsy shop that sells lawn gnomes styled after Dr Who characters and they don't really even seem to like each other but they're always exactly the same. this has happened four times

wait what the fuck, why are there no death note pop up parade figures 🤨😑
#there *are* nendoroids but idk. nendoroids are a lot smaller than i thought they'd be and they also include a lot of little parts?#which is cool if you like variety obviously but for me it's just kind of annoying#having to figure out where to keep all the bits that aren't currently being used ugh i hate it i already have more than enough clutter#still don't regret getting my botw zelda nendoroid but overall i think i much prefer pop up parade#they're generally pretty good quality and they don't tend to come with any extra parts#although my madoka figure did come with her bow which i had to super glue into her hand because it kept falling off 😅#oh & i did have a mishap with her where i accidentally pulled off one of the ribbons on the back of her shoes. evidently they're very#flimsy (not surprising given how small/thin they are) but it was an easy fix#my point being pop up parade IS fairly good quality for how much you're paying for them even if they're not perfect#and also they're not generally horrifically ugly like funko pops tend to be LMAO#(of which i also have quite a few don't get me wrong. i know funko pops are seen as ~cringe~ or whatever but some of them are cute!)#......buuuut now i'm just talking about all my figures lmao ok i'll stop now#send tweet
