for the past several months (since probably july) i've been back deep in the pjo universe, fanfiction is particular. i think i've read thousands of fanfics, and i felt the urge for a while to write some. i have a few idea what are in the works (mostly solangelo with some friends), but here's a little fic i posted the other day:

In the past three years, Nico has spent a fair amount of time alone with Naomi Solace. She may be a country music star known for her storytelling prowess and her predisposition to pissing off half her fanbase on a regular basis, but Nico had only ever known her as Will’s mother.

While on a trip to surprise Will’s mother for her birthday, Nico has a heart to heart with Naomi.

Help, I've become self-aware and I don't like it

okay i know chapter 18 was just one thing after another but i can’t help but think about how noah must’ve felt this whole chapter with connor 😭

his best friend who he’s relied on for so long, who was the one constant person there that was kind to him even when he didn’t think he deserved it completely turned on him.

he knows he was a burden to connor, to take up space in his home and live in it even when everyone told connor otherwise. he knows and believes so strongly that connor made a mistake by taking him in but to have connor himself (even if it was just the effects of being a horror kicking in) confirm that he regretted it and that taking noah in was a mistake must have been so heartbreaking. it’s one thing to believe that you’re a burden but another to have it confirmed by the person you so desperately wanted to think otherwise.

noah already feels so guilty for being in love with devon but for connor to rub it in and make him feel like such a shitty person for it continues to rub salt in the wound.

noah watched his best friend, the one person always there for him, turn on him too. i can’t imagine how that must have felt, before he found out that connor became a horror

Been wanting to do a redesign of my bilby OC, Eleanor, but it's been a while since I drew her so...

I decided to do some art study of the real life bilbies first!

I started drawing a few with references (1st pic) as a warmup and then a couple more without afterwards (2nd pic) to see which parts I struggled on. The limbs are definitely the trickiest one to get right, followed by the head and the muzzle.
