This benjamin mendy thing is honestly so disgusting with all the footballers supporting him like?? This is why a lot of women are afraid of coming out. Even before he was proven innocent, crusty ass boys still supported him. And I've seen a lot of comments of people saying "this is why you shouldn't date these women date black women" blah blah.. are you saying black women will take the sexual assault and disrespect from you ugly ass players and not report it? Do you think this is uplifting us? It's not. It's gross AF! death to everyone fr.
We literally had the game in the bag and we fucked ourselves over somehow... and now we still have everything to play for at home when we've been notoriously terrible at home this season someone please shoot me 🙏🙏
i loved this song so much. i was 11 when it came out. i watched the super bowl just because i liked this song/video, and i don’t know anything about football and i can’t learn, i tried, it makes no sense. i cannot keep any of that shit straight in my head. i thought maybe if i just just stared at games on TV, i’d eventually figure it out, but no. i will never get football, it’s just not gonna happen for me.
i did write a poem about that super bowl from the 1985-86 season. i knew some vocabulary from hearing sports people talk, i could mimic sports speak pretty well, i just didn’t know what any of it meant. my teacher wanted to have my poem printed in our little town’s newspaper. i was pretty mortified because i knew i would be exposed as a fraud. there would be people who would be able to tell i didn’t understand the football game. i didn’t want to tell my teacher the reason i wished to decline, so i told her it wasn’t my best work and i’d rather keep it out of the papers. she would not hear it, she thought it was wonderful. so yeah, my poem about the super bowl was in my hometown newspaper. nobody confronted me over it. as an adult, i found out that everybody thinks i’m r****ded (i’m autistic) so they probably were like “aww lookit the special girl, pretending to talk about football.”
