#so i got into the owl house super late sjfbfjd #i honestly didnt know what to expect but #the show is really really good #i dig the humor its legitimately funny and the stories are well done #was not expecting a legit colonizer as the bad guy but woof he was easy to hate #i liked how the team wrote the many aspects of that as well it felt idk respectful in a way #like it was a 'heres how people like this who very clearly arent good people use their power and influence to get others to ignore that'#also i appreciate the little ways they wrote stuff like abusive/neglectful parents and relationships #one that comes to mind is Amity and her dad when he goes to hug her and she asserts herself and offers a hand shake instead #i love that kind of thing being taught to kids where their boundaries should be respected and they should feel comfortable saying yes/no #or how Amity didnt go through Luz's phone even tho she knew Luz wasnt being honest #all these things lead to a bigger conversation about concent and i just really loved all those touches #plus the cast is super fun and interesting #i love the character growth and i love all these kids im their parents now please let them rest and be safe omfg #anyway im caught up #aaaaaaaand i may have made a teacher oc for the beastkeeping track at the school #dont know their name yet but!!!!!#i just thought it would be fun #thats what i would have gone into if id lived in that world ngl #anyway go watch the owl house #also eda call me

Also weird how before the trailer viv was always tweeting to hyper her show up with gifs that had animation errors before the finished product... Like with an attentative view from the sidelines it's a wonder why she's purposefully choosing the shittiest shots with obvious fucking errors or mistakes that could've and will be fixed but like.... this shit has been in production for 4 years I'd hope that they would have cleaned it up and been a bit more careful unlike Helluva Boss....

So as one does with their OCs........... (shoves them into an AU).

Cafe AU where Clifford is a younger new hire and the person who's supposed to train him is just kinda. Apathetic at first. But quickly melts and decides they would die for this little guy. This is their new favorite person. It's totally normal to demand to be on as many of the same shifts as possible as a coworker. And every shift the mentor tries to Be Normal (aka just uh huh's when Cliff talks to him and not prod and pry into his entire life). And mentor is just super good at latte art so they love to show off to Cliff.

Which pays off when Clifford's mom shows up one day and is talking to him while mentor stands at a slight distance (to be normal) and hears "and this is my best friend!" and welp. That sealed it. They will now commit a murder for their favorite coworker if required.

(Katale and Rudyard also exist but they're not coworkers so they're not here. Also in the AU, Clifford just has a name tag for Cliff and mentor doesn't use their real name on their tag but writes Maverick..... based on a tumblr post someone linked me.)

here's a little life update! i think you guys deserve it after my absence that lasted longer than even i expected it to last ;( i am very sorry about that. i miss everyone here and bangtan so much, you have no idea. the reason for all that is that for the past months i have been going through a lot of things and changes in my life. there were good and bad things happening, time flies extra fast, days melt into one and i didn't even notice the past half a year pass. although i think my absence was unavoidable in these circumstances i just thought that you guys deserve to know what's been up with me for the past months haha i have received a lot messages and reminders that people remember about me and that they miss me and i just want to send all of you my biggest apologies for leaving you for so long with no response, as well as all my love and gratitude! 🥺 i think i've been always fairly transparent on here so if anyone wanted to know more I'll leave some more details in the tags but basically I just hope that soon i will be able to become more active again and respond to messages ❤️❤️❤️ i hope everyone is doing great 🥰

#sorry guys that fight looked brutal & i have no hope #especially not regarding battles where they are coming in from another battle #it honestly feels frustrating to watch imho because i know there aren't real stakes #the bad kids will win because their immensely powerful allies will swoop in when the chips are down & revive & recoup #like i love d20 but the fantasy high finales feel especially low stakes when i know brennan wants to give his friends a good dnding #maybe thats why i liked a crown of candy & neverafter so much #the stakes felt real #acoc if you died you were dead #neverafter if you died your memories got more & more fucked up & your lives were harder to keep track of #but with fantasy high it feels really called in #especially when brennan throws his players from one battle right into the final battle #like of COURSE theyre going to die & their allies will swoop in and save them #what else would you expect from throwing players at half health & half spell slots into a battle with a legion of fully healthy enemies #sorry i didnt mean for this to get so critical im just bery tired so im entering the hater zone #fantasy high i love you but the ending of your story is predictable and i dont really feel excited to watch it like i have b4 #again possibly bc im tired #whose to say #fhjy spoilers

#okay to reblog #i fully did this to myself i just didnt realize how thoroughly i've painted myself into a corner #i started a durge playthrough of bg3 but since i had have two saves (mercury my solo + shrike who is co-op)#i decided i would use an existing oc i've written for for 13 years #seems logical - i already have his personality and a basic idea of how he'd deal with the durge's tendencies #since in his own canon he struggles in a similar way of not totally being in control of his actions #and has become a puppet to a being that wants to steal his mind to cause discord + strife #and he can easily be slotted into a warlock since in his own canon he made an 'agreement' with #well basically one of the gods of the land for protection #also part of my choice to use him in my third playthrough was pettiness for astarion also having curly white hair #because they unfortunately look similar and i have to live with that #but yknow whatever i was like this is a low commitment playthrough just to explore the durge storyline #and it's easier to use Silent here since his own existing story already has keynotes that would probably overlap #BUT THE PROBLEM IS #IM DRIVING MYSELF INSANE #i need locked in a room with a giant conspiracy board #i cant even share my thoughts because i'd have to first explain who Silent is and what his deal is in canon #and then from there I'd be able to talk about the parallels or the way some of the stuff that's happened in bg3 has already fucked him up #like what was i honestly expecting when i made this choice #i don't know how or why i Thought using one of my longest existing ocs would mean i could get through this playthrough low effort #i have cursed myself to be thinking about it x2 as often because it's both the game im obsessed with and my main mascot Silent #and the worst part is i keep violently swinging from thinking about Silent in bg3 to Silent just In General #so I simultaneously need to see and do things with him in this new setting while dying to tell everyone about him in his natural setting #i'm dying #silent speaks #yes i'm called Silent and he's also called Silent #no he's not a persona/self insert it's like a branding thing

i just finished saw v and i don't have high hopes for the rest of the franchise (based on what ive heard) but im in too deep to stop now

Ok so I haven't finished it yet But I'd like to ramble just a little about some thoughts on Marble Hornets so far that being: 1. WAY sadder than I had ever expected it to be 2. I find it really entertaining how the protagonist is honestly kind of terrible

Im 90% sure he just re-ruined this guy's life?#And this isnt a complaint. On the contrary i really appreciate it because I think hes a really interesting protag #Usually something like MH would bore me seeing as a lot of it is just walking with a camera while being kind of clueless?#But i feel so invested in the characters that im actually always eager to find out what will happen. I think theyve pulled off tension so #well this entire time. Its really thrilling to watch this #Anyways when it comes to the first point Im not even going to try and explain the emotions that I feel towards Tim Wright.#You can figure that out on your own.
