please consider how you engage with aaron bushnell's death. you may react to it as you will, but it's crucial to remember that his death was specifically a call to action. it was not meant solely to shock but to draw attention to a vast moral hypocrisy: that to many, a soldier dying in a campaign backed by the U.S. government is noble, even if the soldier kills innocents to do so, even if the cause is morally bankrupt--but this? this is insanity. a man taking his own life, on his own terms, in an attempt to help others while hurting nobody else, is somehow less rational and more horrifying than the mass killing of civilians.

of course aaron's death was horrific. but as he said beforehand, it is realistically no more horrific than what's happening in gaza. if we can't stomach this, then why can we stomach children being bombed? thousands being starved? for all that self immolation is, it brings death in a matter of minutes. it is a fraction of the amount of pain, fear, and grief that people in gaza are experiencing. it's just that we are able to quantify it. and this tiny, quantifiable sliver of horror is still so unbelievably awful. how can anyone bear to think about anything else when this horror is happening a millionfold in palestine? this is the question aaron bushnell was asking. and he wanted you to face it, head-on, watching him burn to death.

I've been seeing people make fanart. minimalist graphics to sell on t-shirts. to commodify his death, to mythologize it not a day afterwards, is not only in poor taste but a hindrance to his message. the answer is not commodification, nor is it defeatism, nor is it rejoicing in his death. if you want to honor aaron's legacy, take action. channel your horror and your outrage into making a material change. this wasn't about him. this was about palestine. remember that it was always about palestine.

gortash sets up a lending library at his estate after seeing durge’s in the bhaal temple. they both know they’re the only people who use them so it turns into a sort of game. durge loves music, so after enver’s last visit a book about viola has appeared in the temple library. enver fancy’s himself a jeweler so it’s only natural a scroll about gem welding would end up in his library. books relating to their schemes, hobbies, pasts, futures, inside jokes and aspirations get passed back in forth. the only extended pause is when a novel about star crossed lovers gets dropped in the bhaal library. it’s weeks before the favor is returned and enver receives a scroll about bhaalist marriage ceremonies. he doesn’t know whether to take it as an advance or a threat, so he accepts it as both.

Ming is straight up ill and I love him. He's just a horrible delusional little gremlin and I hope he stays terrible the entire show.

Insane things he has done:

Fell in love with a dude cause he saw his back once in a movie, not even his face, and just obsessed on that for YEARS.

Refused to move on from that man and his back even when he became his sister's whole ass fiance.

Moved in with Joe after like one night.

Would only hit it from the back FOR MONTHS cause he wanted to pretend he was fucking another man.

Put Joe's drunk ass on the floor OF HIS OWN HOUSE. But still took his pants off and gave him a blanket for comfort?

Made fun of Joe to his face for wanting couple mugs. But later got them engraved with their names as a gift?

Seethed with open jealously anytime Sol was around even though he was still clinging to Tong and his back.

Showed up at Joe's place of work to get into a fight with Joe. Ended up fighting Sol instead cause he thought he was Player 2, even though Sol's controller was never plugged in because Joe has never wanted him.

Beat Joe with a bat.

Literally chained Joe up.

Told Joe it's fine if his whole career and reputation was ruined cause he'd just buy him roles?

Thought he could bottom his way out of the aforementioned beating, chaining, and reputation & career ruining.

Has preserved Joe's condo as a living tomb.

Makes food for two in that condo every day for the past TWO YEARS.

Came out of that condo screaming JOE cause he heard a noise and thought it was Joe coming home (Joe has been dead for two years).

If only Ming had gotten some therapy during his time in college in the US, none of this would have happened. But alas, he did not.

Unfortunately for Joe, Ming's lack of therapy caused his death. And on like Day 3 of Joe's new life as Joe 2, he already ran back into Ming.
