I rewatched Underverse, and it got me thinking about UTMV again; the conclusion I came to is that Dream would benefit from having a maternal figure in his life.
Yeah Ik he does technically have a mom (Nim), but from what I understand, she wasn't someone prevalent/nurturing in his life growing up, and that's not focusing on what he needs now.
I feel like Dream needs someone who can be a pillar for him. Someone who can wrap their arms around him and let him destress from all the pressure he carries. Someone he can break in front of and just be a kid who needs love.
Dream's always the pillar of hope and strength for other people. He tries his best to be the guardian of positivity, especially when he's also constantly on the run for his life since a certain parasitic angst machine keeps hunting him for his soul. And remember, he's still mentally quite young after being trapped in stone.
