Before you say anything shut the fuck up let me set the scene for you: I'm blasting Charli, I'm high as sin, my friend is Tired of hearing about BNHA but sitting there making some exceedingly homosexual earrings, and I'm thinking about my next tattoo. This post is therefore incontrovertible truth. I'm 100% correct. Why THESE characters specifically? Idk they came to me. Also it's a disproportionate amount of Brat bc that's what the fucking shuffle feature on her entire discography playlist decided I would listen to.

Hawks– Vroom Vroom. I'm sorry but he would have the time of his life. He thinks this is about him. He is pretty, fast, and it's not that deep. I like this for him.

Todoroki (any of them kids)– Apple. I mean. Look. It's all of the Todorokis. Like all of them. Lowkey. Though this fucks so hard for Dabi and Shouto. But also Natsuo. It's all of them. I know they blasted this shit.

Midoriya– Boom Clap. He's not in love or anything, though this is 100% the boy nerding out about quirks, it's just a wholeheartedly earnest pop song. It's joyous. It's wonderful. I think this is a good one for him. The really fucking sad one for him would be So I about All Might. but like I ugly cry to that song so let's not get into that.

Bakugou– Sympathy is a knife. AIGHT HEAR ME OUT. This is 100% the early part where he's just irrationally a hater of his Deku because why the fuck does this boy get all this power and why is he inadequate in that way fuck him. Anyway. Love.

Toga– Break the Rules. Justice for Toga man just let the poor kid have fun.

Sir Nighteye– White Mercedes. My divorced queen still idolizing All Might. STILL. "Like a white Mercedes always been running too fast... Hurting you feels like I'm hurting as well, All I know is I don't deserve you" LIKE COME ON "One day I'll pull through, And I'll be good enough" I'm so normal about them.

All Might– 360. Like back in his prime. It's so "I'm a fucking celebrity and I earned it bitch" and I'm aware All Might is a good lil man but like come on there had to be that period of his life. And you know what! Real! He's so Julia!

Uraraka– Unlock It. Literally just for "You're on my mind, The feeling like an astronaut" Like come on. Also she's million dollar babe! I love her! I just want her and Toga to be happy man I'm so sad

Qrow would have been disquieted at any other circumstance in which his wife was hurling her guts, would have been at her side to hold her hair back and offer what support he could. Perhaps by sitting on the floor and rubbing her back. But Summer had been very quiet about this. She was good at playing things close to the chest, much to Qrow's loss when he dared her to games of poker.

The last several days, he'd been making home improvements: shingle repairs for the roofing, churning troughs around their home into arable gardening material, and retiling the kitchen floor. It was good, hard work that left him feeling satisfyingly fatigued. Qrow was dead to the world, unaware when Summer snuck from bed only an hour into sleeping.

"...hm?" He began to stir, those dusty red eyes opening to the deep pitch of night. Her silvers shone in a near feline way, reflecting what light leaked in from the shattered moon. "Summer? What's wrong?" It wasn't like her to wake him up like this. Something was going on.

but bellamy is honestly in that group too. just not as prominent about it, especially before he even joins the strawhats. he only "softens" after being with them, not as afraid to not constantly be a "tough dude" which is also him at his most asshole-ness.

i feel like i've finally gotten my head around this fandom. realising how big it really is, a real fucking legacy, like that global family they talk about in the show. and to think i was just not alloheterosexual enough to ever feel comfortable in fandom spaces for anything that vaguely resembles a 'boyband' for the last decade or so. like no i'm not in anyone's lane. i'm just an artist and a visionary who gets real inspired by some dudes from my hometown and is searching for those precious people who i would call 'native of mine'

Summer casually shrugs, but there's a sly tingle in her green eyes. Oh, this is going to be fun. It's not every day that she gets a free pass to gossip about Rick of all people. Even if, truth to be told, she usually makes her passes when she really wants to, consequences be damn.

"I've seen Grandpa Rick embarrassing himself, like, a lot. I mean, he's an alcoholic mad scientist with little to no shame, so it's pretty easy to catch him doing weird stuff," she begins, a little knowing grin curling her lips. "Morty and I could, like, tell so many stories...Especially from the time when he's drunk."

She might or might not have a secret folder with pictures and videos she can use for blackmail.

"But him around his new friend? That's a whole new level of embarrassing. Like that one time he got wasted, kissed the guy and then ended up getting kicked out because he said all the wrong things? That's an epic fail if I've ever seen one."

She isn't even exaggerating. She has seen Rick making a fool of himself or being cringe when flirting with people, but the way he acts around Silco is almost new.

"Have you seen how clumsy he gets? Usually Grandpa manages to be charming even when he's being, like, the total opposite, but with Silco he just humiliates himself at times." She chuckles behind her hand. "I've never seen him putting his foot in his mouth so many times in a row. Or, like, making up so many lame excuses to go back to Zaun. Or how hard he tries to show off when he's around the guy." Cue to an eyeroll. "He really can't see that he's coming off as annoying and not enticing."

Her grandfather isn't great with social cues and the fact that he doesn't give a damn about being proper doesn't help. However, it turns out, at times he can't really read the room even when he's actively trying. That explains where Morty got his social skills. Or, rather, lack of.

"And the best thing? He thinks that he's, like, being smooth and all, and that no one knows that he wants in the guy's pants." She huffs. "But instead is super obvious. Even Morty can tell. And I'm pretty sure Silco has to know too, by now, since Grandpa hasn't been subtle at all. I guess he just decided to ignore it to spare them both further embarrassment."

Still, she's been wondering how long it will be before Silco gets fed up with Rick's attempts at flirting and wooing him and tells him to cut it out. Probably not long, if the scientist gets too bold or too insistent.

Great, it seems like Summer just had the time of her life laughing at him on main. He'd tell her that she's a real bitch, but she'd probably take it as a compliment.

"Y-Yeah, sure, have fun mocking me. L-Like I give a shit about anyone's opinion," he claims with a dismissive scoff. "S-She and Morty shouldn't be the ones to talk w-with the little ganging up they've been doing. A-Always getting in fuckin' trouble with the loony firecracker. Sum-Sum forgets quickly how...that I am the one w-who has gotten them out of some reeeeaaaal sticky situations."

His grandkids can take care of themselves, but he'd never pass the chance to scold them for every false step. No matter how hypocritical it might come off.

"An-And have you seen how they act around Jinx? T-They say I embarrass myself, b-but I know exactly what I'm doing. T-Them? Like hell they do," he goes on and his irritated frown is slowly replaced by a smug smirk. "M-Morty looks like a fuckin' lost puppy around her. H-He barks up at Sevika an-and shit, but then he goes hiding behind Jinx. H-He obviously wants to impress her, b-but he's also intimidate, s-so he keeps switching between w-wanting to look cool and being latme. N-Now that is fuckin' embarrassing, i-if you ask me."

Oh yeah, two can play that game.

"An-And Summer? S-She goes around saying that I have a fuckin' crush or-or whatever, b-but she should really shut the fuck up. I-I mean, she is the one crushing. D-Did you see that kiss? L-Like she didn't even have to guts to make it a proper one. S-She kissed Jinx's cheek an-and then called it a 'friendly thank you'." A snort. "F-Fuckin' lame. J-Just like her brother. S-She should be grateful tha-that Jinx isn't great at picking up that stuff, b-because she's failing at being slick. I-It's not courting, i-it's a goddamn comedy show."

one was vivacious, while the other was reserved. one was quick to snap, while the other was cool and collected. one was magic. the other was not. that was all that mattered in the end.

but still she loves. she loves her friends, loves her work, loves every single patient she has the honor and privilege to help. she knows it’ll only hurt more when it’s all over, but she can’t help herself.

she will never stop looking over her shoulder, wondering when the good things will go away. but maybe one day she’ll accept that she deserves them.

the obstinate: lily is feverishly passionate about her side of the war, but this person thinks she could be an asset to the other side, and that she could be persuaded to defect. 

the brothers in arms: she loves her colleagues in the order of the phoenix like family. it makes her feel a little less lonely every time she sees others stick up for the rights of people like her.

"Some can," Qrow agreed. He wouldn't personally know, but he knew enough about Jacques and Willow's marriage to agree with Willow. "For me, it was what came after that felt like a permanent hangover."

Probably because he was permanently getting hangovers after Summer. "But you don't have to go through that anymore, if you don't want to. You can let his ghost stay in the past." Easier said than done, he knew that. He himself took nearly twenty years to get to this point. Willow had just started her detox. "Or you can in time."

His smile was faintly hopeful, intermingled with empathy for his friend. "You'll get there."
