And then her luck finally worked out well: Reginald Hargreeves was dead, and her long lost brother was finally home.

And the apocalypse was only days away. Go figure.

Originally number Seven, Andromeda’s ability to copy anyone else’s powers should have made her number one, but she struggled to control it. While theoretically she should have been able to mimic any power so long as she’d seen it used before, and to use multiple powers at once, Andromeda struggled to copy anything unless she could see the person whose power it was, and could barely handle one let alone multiple.

She’d long since stopped hoping to improve her rank when suddenly Ben dies, and Andromeda finds herself reappointed as Number Six, and the only power she doesn’t seem to struggle to use? Klaus’ ability to see their dead brother. Unable to cope with it, Andromeda travels halfway across the world, and the further she gets from Klaus, the weaker her mimic gets. Finally separated from her family, and the ghosts of her past, Andromeda is ready for her fresh start. For over a decade she lives like she’s normal; no superheroes, no mimics, and no ghosts, but her father’s funeral forces her to return to all three - and now with the added bonus of the apocalypse.

Only, the next event rolled around and Diego was back. And then again, and again, and again. For five years, Diego served as Arya’s bodyguard, best friend, part-time roommate, and occasional fake boyfriend. The two went everywhere together, told each other things they’d never told anyone else, became two halves of a whole. And then Reginald Hargreeves died, and Diego asked Arya to be his date to the funeral.

Going to unpleasant events as Diego’s date was hardly new to her, and saying no would never have crossed her mind, but usually he was the one responsible for protecting her, not the other way around. Still, even if he hadn’t wanted her support, Arya would die before she would let her best friend face that particular nightmare alone.

She used to roll her eyes when her father told her that she shouldn’t — couldn’t — trust anyone but her newest bodyguard turned other half, but as the apocalypse nears and some woman who calls herself The Handler takes a terrifying interest in Arya, she starts to think that maybe he had been onto something all along.

Born barely two months after her half sister Eudora, Athena had always known that she was different but, no matter how much money he offered, her parents refused to give her to Reginald, and Athena never met the Umbrella Academy.

Until she was 21, a skilled technopath and recent orphan, in the same Police Academy class as her sister and a boy who could have been her brother, and Athena found herself a new family with the two of them.

And then Diego dropped out and became a vigilante, Athena dropped out to become a hacker, and Eudora actually followed through and became a cop, but the three remained their own little family. And then Reginald Hargreeves dies, and Athena accompanies Diego to the funeral for the man who could have been her father, meets more people who could have been her siblings, and gets roped into stopping the apocalypse.

Audrey Hargreeves, The Charmer, was gifted with the power of hypnosis. So long as she focused, Audrey would use words or movement to put anyone under her spell. So, as an extra piece of her training, Reginald had her trained in several forms of dance, and Audrey fell in love. After years of abuse, she was unsurprised to find that her family was falling apart, and was one of the first to call it quits. Instead of staying in their personal hell-mansion, Audrey chose to pursue ballet and avoid using her powers as much as possible, and to never, ever look back. But then Reginald died, the surviving siblings reunited, Five showed up to warn them about the apocalypse, and Audrey realizes that the past can never stay in the past.

And then Reginald died, and the seventeen siblings reunited for the funeral. A lifetime of resentment, rivalries, and abandonment issues would be a lot for any family, let alone a family of superheroes whose long lost brother has just appeared for the first time in sixteen years. And that’s when Macey Arden, the thirteenth miracle, shows up.

When her siblings are thirteen, she is six; when they are eighteen, she is ten; when they are twenty nine, at the dawn of the apocalypse, she is fifteen. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the speed at which she ages, no consistency with which to plan. And Bailey, ever the youngest, can’t leave the mansion with her siblings. At least, not until Klaus, through means that she never wants to know, gets her registered as his own. And for twelve years, their system works. As far as anyone knows, Bailey is his daughter, dumped on his doorstep by a one night stand. It works; they’re as thick as thieves despite Bailey’s age and Klaus’ addiction, and everything is good. Until Reginald dies. Bailey was prepared for the fighting, she had accepted the bad blood, she was unfazed by the news of the apocalypse, but she never expected to no longer be the youngest of the Hargreeves siblings.

Summary: On October 1st, 1989, Beatrice Lovecraft-Hargreeves is one of 43 miracle children, born to women who had not been pregnant when the day began. On October 31st, 1989, Shailene and Rupert Lovecraft refused to give their daughter to billionaire Reginald Hargreeves.

But growing up just down the street from the Academy, Reginald never took his sight off of her, waiting for the opportune moment to add her to his collection. That moment comes on December 31st, 1999, when tentacles emerge from Beatrice’s hands and slaughter her parents. The billionaire is quick to step in and claim the girl, stealing her out from CPS and naming her 6.5, The Abomination, The Horror’s other half. Only, he didn’t anticipate just how close the two would become; didn’t anticipate that the two so called monsters would fall in love. Didn’t anticipate Beatrice dying when she was fourteen.

And then, three years later, Ben dies. Klaus attempts to bring his brother, his best friend, back, but instead he brings back Beatrice. And aside from now being a few years younger than the other Hargreeves’, she seems unchanged. Except that now she and Klaus are bonded, now someone else can see his ghosts. And just as they start to get used to it, Reginald Hargreeves dies and they have to return for the funeral. They have to face the rest of the academy, who still think Beatrice is dead; who still don’t believe that Klaus can talk to Ben; who still all blame themselves — and each other — for the two tragedies. And if that weren’t complicated enough, another presumed dead Hargreeves shows up with warnings of an impending apocalypse.

Summary: On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. Yes, we know that. Braeden Hargreeves, The Brain, was one of them. Gifted with super intelligence, with the ability to know all of the information of any book or person that she touched, Reginald made it very clear that Braeden was not allowed to touch anyone at the Academy, ever. Isolated and touch starved, Braeden found a coping mechanism in playing other people, which soon grew into a passion for acting.

At the age of eighteen, both she and her rival - sorry, sister - left home with the intention of pursuing theatre. While Allison went straight to Hollywood, using her powers to advance her career, Braeden went to Broadway and slowly but surely worked her way up until she was asked to play one of the two leads in a new TV show, a role which brought her face to face with her estranged sister.

As is often the case with siblings, their reunion brings back eighteen years of resentment and rivalries, and just as soon as they start to put the past behind them, their third sister publishes a tell all novel about their lives and everything falls apart again.

While Cam moved on, learning to survive on her own while watching her siblings on the news, the remaining seven Hargreeves never could. Diego and Luther, blaming each other for the loss of their third musketeer, went from the best of friends to bitter rivals. Reeling from the loss of their sister, Allison and Vanya shut everyone out — save for Luther and Five respectively. Ben grew quieter and Five grew more restless and Klaus turned to drugs in the hopes of never having to see his sister’s ghost.

But there was no ghost for him to see, because Cam wasn’t dead. For six years, Cam struggled, but survived. She watched on the news when Five suddenly stopped showing up; trying to find him by herself, but to no avail. Until one day, shortly after her fifteenth birthday, a woman approached her. She called herself the Commissioner, and invited Cam to join the Temps Commission and help save the world. And, with nothing else going for her, Cam said yes, and was introduced to her partner; and old man who’d survived the apocalypse alone, who also happened to be her long lost brother.

And then Cam learned the truth. The Commission’s goal was to make sure that the apocalypse happened. And Five’s goal was to stop the apocalypse and save their family. Well, at least Cam had no doubt about which side she was on.

And when they were seven, Luther disobeyed Reginald for the first time, because Cassie told him to. And Reginald decided that enough was enough. He told her siblings that she had died, selling her to a “boarding school” in England, owned by an acquaintance of his. Almost twenty three years later, Reginald Hargreeves died, as Cassie knew he would. The surviving five Hargreeves children gather for the funeral and find themselves face to face with not one but two of their supposedly dead siblings, both of whom bring warnings of the impending apocalypse.

It hurt, but she had known when she finally left the mansion that she would never see them again.

But then Reginald Hargreeves dies, and as much as she doesn’t want to go back to the mansion, Gemma knows that she can’t give up on the one chance she has to see her siblings again.

On April 1st, 2019, two thirteen year olds witness the end of the world. Forty years later, on March 24th, 2019, they get the chance to stop it.

But after witnessing her parents die in a mall shooting, the then twenty one year old finds herself feeling completely lost and disconnected, and soon finds her way to the party scene, spiraling further and further downwards, losing more and more time, until one day she meets an equally messed up boy with tattoos on each of his hands and the exact same birth minute as hers.

This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. Grace Hargreeves had been pregnant when the day began, and Kamaria’s birth had been pregnant. Her birth was expected. What wasn’t expected was that for some reason — her alien biology, Reginald’s experiments, or maybe just fate — her birth would trigger the birth of 43 miracle children. Instead of getting one child that day, Reginald Hargreeves got eight.

Being number Zero was supposed to be an honour. She was supposed to be the best of the best, but Kamaria knew better — Reginald didn’t see her as a person. And if she’d ever doubted it, he would have confirmed it when he faked her death and locked her away in a separate wing of the mansion, keeping her isolated from everyone but he and Pogo. For years, Kamaria trained in isolation, mastering her powers and growing in resentment, until finally she managed to break out of the mansion. She started a new life as a professional dancer, and left the past in the past. And then Luther showed up at one of her performances with no recollection of her existence. And then Luther went to the moon the next morning. And then Reginald Hargreeves died.

And, eleven years after finally escaping, Kamaria Hargreeves went home, only to find out that her former classmates — siblings? — and even her own mother didn’t remember that she’d ever existed.

Gifted with the ability to manipulate energy, Ky was given the highest honour; number Zero, the Bomb. While she was treated better than her siblings, she saw the suffering they endured, and did her best to defend them, but after Number Five disappeared, nothing was the same.

She tried to hold her family together, but in the end they still fell apart, and she never thought that she would see them again. But then their father dies, and the siblings are forced to reunite. But they aren’t the same as Ky remembers them, and frankly, neither is she. She can handle temperamental siblings and a lifetime of resentments, but can she get them to cooperate long enough to stop the apocalypse?

Summary: Larissa Hargreeves had been the golden girl, once. The perfect daughter who could speak anything into reality as long as she believed enough. The first time she ever failed to speak something into existence, the first time she hadn’t been able to believe hard enough, she was unceremoniously demoted to Number Eight, where she spent the rest of her miserable years at the Hargreeves Mansion before finally breaking out.

That was supposed to be the end of it; she was never supposed to have to go back to the source of her trauma. But apparently she hadn’t believed that enough either, because a few months before her thirtieth birthday, Reginald Hargreeves dies and Larissa has to go back home for the funeral turned family reunion. She was supposed to go to appease Pogo and then leave again, and this time she would be free from the house of horrors for the rest of her life.

But even Larissa couldn’t just speak the apocalypse out of existence; that would be almost as impossible as speaking her siblings into cooperating.

Leah left the mansion as soon as the funeral was over. Yes, it broke her heart to lose the rest of her siblings, but she thought it would hurt less to lose them while they were alive than it would to lose a third – or fourth or fifth or sixth or seventh – sibling for good. She knew that she might never see them again, but she could at least cling to the hope that they were still alive. So she forced herself to move on, to never look back.

But when she sees Reginald’s death announced on the TV, Leah knows that she has to go back; that she has to at least try to reconnect with her remaining siblings. And given the choice between stopping the apocalypse or losing the rest of her family, well, there’s no choice at all.

And, admittedly, to see how well her own superhuman powers held up against a team of real life superheroes. The answer was too well, truth be told. None of them didn’t even notice their stuff was missing in the first place — none except Diego Hargreeves. Over the years, Max found herself more and more attached to the knife wielder, luring him into a game of cat-and-mouse that lasted for more than two decades. She branched out eventually, museum heists and bank robberies keeping her plenty busy, but she always went back to Diego eventually.

But when Reginald Hargreeves dies, Max finds herself looking through all of the items she’d accumulated from the mansion over the years to see if there was anything that she could profit off of. There were lots of knickknacks that would serve her well, but one particular find turns her path away from her favourite consignment shop and instead brings her face to face with Diego Hargreeves for the first time in their long, long chase.

And then they stopped coming together at all.

They still visited, but separately, and Sierra would never pretend that she knew exactly what had happened, but she pieced it together over the years. Allison left the city, the others left the mansion, Luther got left behind. They all wanted to leave their pasts behind them, but none of them could let go of Griddy’s. So they didn’t. Once a week every week, each of them on a different day, they’d show up. Looking for a warm drink and a bite to eat; looking for an escape from the rest of the world; looking for an open ear known as Sierra. And so, Sierra listened.

Over the years she grew closer to the long-estranged Hargreeves siblings. She stopped seeing them as customers and started seeing them as friends. She did what she could to look out for them, to support them, to stand in for the siblings they’d lost over time. But she never told any of them about their other siblings’ visits. She wanted them to feel safe in the diner, like they had at least one place where they could let down their guards.

They were never supposed to know that they all still shared a connection to Griddy’s, to Sierra. Not until they were ready to face each other, to face their past. But then Reginald Hargreeves dies, and Sierra receives not one but four invitations to the funeral.

She had built herself a new life, one where she didn’t have to think about Reginald Hargreeves or his abuse. One where she could be herself; where she could be happy. But when it rains, it pours, and a storm of apocalyptic proportions is looming on Tori’s horizon.

She left the mansion with a promise to leave the past in the past but between Reginald’s death, Five’s dramatic return, and the upcoming apocalypse, Tori Hargreeves might have no choice but to break that promise.

But when Reginald Hargreeves dies, it isn’t Diego who asks her to go with him. No, she gets the call from Luther Hargreeves, Diego’s long estranged brother and rival, asking her to come and investigate the mysterious death.

It wasn’t particularly nice, to know that she would never be good enough, but she was used to it, she could handle it.

Until she decided not to. After Five disappeared, life at the mansion became infinitely worse, and at sixteen, Willa became the next of the siblings to leave the mansion. She left her number with her siblings, packed up, and moved halfway across the country, and never heard from them again. Until Ben died. Until Ben died, and Willa knew, she just knew, that she could have prevented it if she hadn’t left — and, just a few years later, Vanya would tell the entire world the same thing when she published her book.

Which is why, when she hears about Luther’s accident only a few years later, she knows she has to go back to the house of her nightmares. She can’t let another one of her siblings die, not when she could have saved him. But when she returns to find out that she’s now Number 6, and that Luther is being sent to the moon, she realizes that Reginald had it all planned out — and she just gave him exactly what he wanted.

For four years, Willa found herself trapped in the mansion; unwilling to leave in case something happened to Luther, and unable to escape from Reginald’s constant scrutiny. Until finally, four years later, Luther is coming home, Reginald is dead, and Willa is free — and the main suspect in Reginald’s death, with the apocalypse only days away. So, maybe not so free.

I am a fan since: Maaayyyybe 2012??? Or possibly 2013. I know it was my first “real” boyfriend’s favorite game so he let me borrow the series in high school sometime after I got an xbox for the first time. Fun fact- my first romance was Kaidan because they shared a name and then I eventually ended up romancing Garrus on my fourth??? playthrough and then it wasn’t long after that we broke up lmao

Favourite game of the series?: 3, the score is so good, the gameplay is the best of the three IMO, it’s the culmination of everything from the past two games and I just LOVE seeing all the disparate plots and side quests all coming togetheer

Favourite Antagonist: Kai Leng solely because the final scene with him was just so good but I gotta say I also enjoyed Maya Brooks

Favourite Mission: Oh gosh I’m definitely a fan of Overlord, but nothing beats the absolute adrenaline rush I get every time I do the Rannoch mission in ME3

Favourite Loyalty Mission: I have a love/hate relationship with Grunt’s loyalty mission, I love killing the thresher maw but also I hate killing the thresher maw, but the one I really enjoy the most is Jack’s. I feel like a lot of people really relate to seeing Jack confront her childhood trauma and I just love seeing the unique aspects of her character through the mission

Favourite DLC: Well I can’t not say the Citadel DLC, it really is so much fun, but I also loved Overlord, partially because I’m just glad Shepard gets to shut that shit down

Control, Synthesis or Destroy: I think theoretically speaking, synthesis is what my preferred ending would be, but since I can never kill Shepard I always go with destroy

Favourite Weapon: Phaeston rifle

Favourite Place: I feel like it’s a cop out to say the Normandy, but there’s no place like home you know

A quote I like: The one that always makes me giggle? “Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest son-of-a-bitch in space!" but in a more serious theme “Stand amongst the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters” I always play a paragon Shep but damn that line is raw

6. What element of writing do you find comes easily?

Hmm... I think that would be conversations and romantic interactions, preferably combined. I always get such clear pictures in my mind of all their small interactions, a caress, leaning against each other, a shared look. I just have to be careful to not go overboard with it.😅

7. What element of writing do you struggle with most?

Moving from one set scene over to the next. Theoretically, I know that I can just... ‘switch over’. But so often I feel like I need to get them there and it ends up very long and very unimportant.

8. Which character(s) do you find easiest to write?

Hiccup and Astrid, without a doubt. They’re who I write most and who I enjoy writing the most, too. There are others who come easily to me, too. Like Eret or Daniel (Astrid’s OC brother). But still, Hiccstrid are my thing.

9. Which character(s) do you find most difficult to write?

Fishlegs... I have difficulties getting a good grasp on his character. I’m sorry for often neglecting him but... *shrugs*

27. What’s the nicest comment you’ve ever received?

Uha, that’s a hard one! I got many amazing comments over the years. Like, I love the excited chatty ones, the rambling, the analysing.

But right at this moment, what I can think of as the best are comments that come in shortly after I posted an update. People who’ve been waiting for me to update, people who are so excited that they let me know even before they even read the new chapter. It’s just so... so heartwarming to know that there are people as excited about my stories as I am.

Erm, I really wish I have the mind to write! There are so many ideas in my head and they’re driving me insane!

With the next chapter, FTLOAP moves into a very exciting stage, and I’m dying to finaly write these parts! It’s nearly three years now since I planned them out, and I’m so excited to get to them! There’s some intense Hiccstrid coming up, some pay-up for things that first came up in the very first chapters. I’m sooo looking forward to these scenes!

Then there’s the Sex Toy Calendar. I have the notes for all the boxes, up to the 24th. I have the boxes, their content, and notes on what Hiccup and Astrid do with it. I’m daydreaming about these scenes all the time. And don’t get me wrong, its fun! But I also want to get them out so I can fucking concentrate every now and then! 🤣

Then there’s Undine. Not Hiccstrid, but I don’t think you’ll mind. 😉 Again, I have scenes, especially for the finale, that I’m dying to get down.

There are new chapters for the Ghost Boyfriend AU I want to write, they’re almost entirely formulated in my head already! If only I had the peace of mind to write them down...

And there are the two other stories I have mostly only outlined so far.The ballet AU, but even more importantly my baby Bonfire Heart! Strangers to Lovers, Soulmates, Slow Burn, Mutual Pining. I have two of the, probably, 20 chapters written out so far, but I don’t dare post them yet in case I want to change or add things later on and because I don’t want to start/post yet another multichap without knowing when I’ll have the time to continue it. But I’m sooooooo looking forward to this story, you wouldn’t believe it. It’s on par with FTLOAP at this point.

So, yeah... I really really really want to put more Hiccstrid content out there. There’s so much of it in my head, so many ideas I want to share. So many emotions I want to put into words. But life is just not letting me 😭

wow this took forever oops!

tysm for the ask!! i’ve been meaning to make a carrd or something with oc intros, but i have so goddamn many ocs and so little time now that i’m in college and all that. and i have the code saved from my old pages before i remade, but those are kind of outdated and incomplete

that being said i’m probably gonna end up making that carrd regardless of how busy i am cause special interest indulgence and all that, so i’ll post about it when i do

anyway! i’m putting the actual oc answers under a readmore because i’m gonna try to do all the ocs i listed and it’ll be kinda long lol

3. What does your oc’s voice sound like? (Or, if you have one, what’s their voiceclaim?) Can they sing, whistle, or roll their rs? Do they have any speech impediments or notable dialects/accents?

how does one even describe voices... ok here goes

avani: she’s my character for a ttrpg campaign, so her voice sounds basically like mine (which might not help much cause you don’t know how i talk lol), but when i’m talking as her i pitch my voice up a bit and make it a bit more nasally. she’s not much of a singer, nor can she whistle, but she can roll her r’s pretty well. also, since she’s autistic and hard of hearing, her tone of voice often comes off the "wrong” way

farhan: he’s another ttrpg character i play lol, or at least he will be next semester, so his voice is again kind of like mine. but when i talk as him i pitch my voice down and it’s a bit hoarse. ig his voice would also be more “masculine” than mine but whatever. he can sing and whistle but has a pretty small vocal range (since he’s, like, 13 right now and will be 16 when i rp him next semester)

carter: i imagine his voice as low and on the quiet and raspy end, with a tiny bit of a lisp. he’s way too insecure to try to sing or even whistle or anything like that, though if he practiced at it he’d probably get pretty good

calira: she’s mute so n/a i guess. but she talks pretty formally in her dialect of elvish sign language, which is definitely unusual

sam: they have kind of a low voice that’s also raspy, but with quite a bit of pep and variation in their tone. they can even sing pretty well and they like to whistle constantly while working. that creates some kind of whiplash cause sam comes off as a typical edgy teen a lot of the time

jizoriel: high-pitched with lots of voice cracks, peak pretentious preteen/early teen jerkass. he can’t really sing or do anything similar, nor does he want to very much

victoria: so quiet and raspy that you can barely make out that it’s low and has a soothing and pleasant tone to it. she can sing well, or at least she could once upon a time

rowan: just! the happiest and most cheerful voice you can imagine! so much love behind how she talks! her voice fills up her whole head and the whole room!! and she whistles sometimes while she walks

ace: defies any masculine or feminine labels, smooth and cool in theory but they stutter quite a bit

charity: gruff but with a hint of cheer and clarity behind it that comes out when she’s startled. she loves to sing but can’t whistle and can’t roll her r’s either

jamal: i actually have a voiceclaim for him! it’s this (the voice that sings from 1:51 to 1:58)

kimberly: her voice is a bit high and a bit... idk how to say it exactly... i guess shrill would be the word?

fabián: his voice seems higher-pitched than it actually is cause he talks higher when he’s anxious, and he’s always anxious. it’s a bit hard to describe his voice otherwise tbh. i can hear it in my head but i can’t quite put it to paper oops. oh yeah also he has a great singing voice but never uses it sooo

7. What song reminds you of this oc? Does this match up with the type of music your oc likes to listen to?

this question opens up a wormhole cause i have playlists for many of these guys but instead i’ll just provide one (1) song for each and vaguely describe their music taste, how does that sound

avani: honestly “mr. capgras encounters a secondhand vanity” by will wood is a “her” song to me. her music taste leans a lot more toward older music though (like some classics from the 70s and 80s and such)

farhan: he’s still very new so i haven’t really found a song for him yet. but i know he absolutely loves peppy and energetic pop music and also sappy gay love songs

carter: (slaps my hand away when i try to type another will wood song) “fantasy island” by the shins always launches me into daydreams about him. which kinda roughly aligns with his music taste, he listens to a lot of those “mainstream indie” artists. he’d also listen to will wood because he’s gay and mentally ill <3

calira: one of my favorite songs on her playlist is “maximillian von spee” by dirt poor robins. but the music she listens to is basically all invigorating church-loving stuff with medieval-era instruments lmao

sam: “sometimes” by nick lutsko is an absolute bop and very much a sam song. sam actually doesn’t go out of their way to listen to music though, but when they do they listen to either the most soothing and relaxing stuff or to the angriest metal emo music. no in between

jizoriel: i’ll go the less emo angle here and say a song that reminds me of him is “upside down” by jack johnson. jizoriel’s music taste is like. old choir music and shit plus incomprehensible magical music that doesn’t even sound like music. if he was from earth he’d like my chemical romance

victoria and rowan: i’m grouping these two together here because a song that reminds me very strongly of both of them/their relationship is “human” by dodie. which actually fits very well into both of their music tastes!

ace: again, going the less edgy angle here, “auntie earth” by walter mitty and his makeshift orchestra. but ace mostly listens to uh, classical flute music and flute covers

charity: absolutely “dance and cry” by mother mother, that’s pretty much her theme song. it’s among her favorite songs in canon too

jamal: “tire swing” by los elk, since his arc is about letting go of childhood and all that jazz. he’s more inclined to listen to fun. and other pop artists and rappers and such. he likes janelle monae

kimberly: “best tears” by the happy fits for sure. in terms of her music taste though, her taste is pretty similar to jamal’s. they bond over being janelle monae fans

fabián: by god does “heal” by so much light fit him. his taste is that he rotates through three (3) specific obscure indie artists lmao, so theoretically i guess that specific song is included in there

18. How does your oc see themself? How does this compare to the way other ocs see them?

i am gonna do my best to keep these short cause this is a loaded question for all of them hoo boy

avani: how she sees herself: honestly the worst person alive. unless she spends every moment of her time trying to make up for what she’s done, she’s worthless, and she doesn’t deserve to love herself in any capacity how others see her: her brother (farhan) really looks up to her! most of the time. the superhero team she’s on (other people’s ocs) all think she’s generally smart and capable enough, and her boyfriend in particular thinks she’s incredible

farhan: how he sees himself: as of right now? a misunderstood emo middle schooler who’s still kind of cool i guess how others see him: his sister (avani) thinks he’s quite an impressive and charismatic young man

carter: how he sees himself: 1/10 awkward and annoying how others see him: carter reminds calira too much of her old self, so she love-hates him. sam thinks he’s weak and cowardly but admires his kindness. and jizoriel clings to him as a caring father figure and loves carter’s passion for natural studies

calira: how she sees herself: it goes back and forth between “i’m the greatest chosen one ever im such a strong warrior” and “wow i’m literal trash why did the gods pick me for this” how others see her: carter is a bit intimidated by her but appreciates her attempts to vibe with him, sam thinks she’s an annoying pretentious self-important bitch (but their opinion softens over time), and jizoriel sees right through her facade and feels comfortable around her because of it

sam: how they see themself: evil and in need of redemption, kind of similar to avani ig but with 10x more confidence in their skills and also much more violent how others see them: carter knows theyre doing their best even if theyre kind of an asshole, calira is a fan of their strength and determination, and jizoriel Hates Their Guts (at first) because they baby him too much

jizoriel: how he sees himself: a fucking fraud of a prince. all he has going for him is his abilities as a mage, but even then those are shaky how others see him: carter knows he’s very insecure and wants to comfort him, calira admires his magical prowess and noble air, and sam thinks he’s a snarky little pretentious douchebag but also he reminds them of their late brother and they want to protect him at all costs

victoria: how she sees herself: basically dead. only good for interacting with ghosts. not worthy of the human world or of friendship how others see her: she reminds rowan of her old self. rowan sees a glimmer of love and hope in her and wants to bring it out

rowan: how she sees herself: a fucking mess but she’s trying her best and that’s what counts! how others see her: victoria very much appreciates her cheerful air even if she doesn’t act like it

ace: how they see themself: way too weird to be human, way too weak not to be. their self-image changes constantly. theyre very confused about everything please help how others see them: charity is literally dating them lol she thinks theyre the cutest person alive, jamal appreciates how hard they try as a friend, kimberly thinks theyre an alien invader whom she can study and use to get further in life, and fabián knows more about ace than anyone else and loves them for it

charity: how she sees herself: a Teenager who’s struggling. she desperately wants to be young without the burden of her trauma but whether she thinks of herself as emo and sad and angry or not depends a lot on her mood how others see her: ace adores everything about her, jamal loves how cool and fun and sociable she can be, kimberly is annoyed with her rebelliousness, and fabián worries very much for her well-being and can’t shake the image of her as helpless (oops that’s gonna cause some drama)

jamal: how he sees himself: just a chill guy trying to get by. unremarkable. how others see him: ace is grateful for how forgiving he can be but is still terrified of him being angry over [spoilers], charity loves how sociable and fun he is and how protective he can be of his friends, kimberly secretly envies his carefree nature, and fabián sees him as a solid acquaintance to whom he did not give a good first impression

kimberly: how she sees herself: not good! if she can’t grow up fast and do science well then she’s useless how others see her: ace wants to be friends with her but doesn’t know how to do that, charity is annoyed by her rule-bound-ness, jamal thinks she’s cool but should unwind a little, and fabián resents her at first but would still like to play chess with her sometime

fabián: how he sees himself: he has a moral responsibility to help people Or Else. way too anxious and stuck up but he doesn’t know how to change that how others see him: ace fuckin Loves this guy, charity loves him too but she gets pissed when he tries to help her with anything, jamal genuinely thinks he’s a great guy and wants to get to know him better, and kimberly is actually impressed by him and envies his apparent confidence and charisma

Title: Royal Chapter: One-Shot Pairing: Awsten/OC Rating: T Fic Summary: Awsten finds out that his girlfriend is more than she’s been letting on. Author’s Notes: Inspired by “Royal” by Waterparks (obviously). I’m kinda working on a part 2 to this.

There was a banging on the door.

“Awsten”, Elizabeth said, shaking her boyfriend.

“What?”

More loud banging.

“Fuck”, Awsten said, getting out of bed. He grabbed a pair of boxers and threw them on before answering the door.

Elizabeth, who figured it wasn’t anyone important, tried to go back to sleep until she heard, “Elizabeth!” She shot up in bed, cursing the heavens and pulled the sheet up to her chest.

“Um…Beth?” Awsten asked as he entered the bedroom with her mother.

“Elizabeth, what are you still doing in bed?” her mother asked.

“Hi mum. Awsten, would you go make our guests some tea while I get dressed?”

“Why aren’t you dressed?” her mother asked her.

“I’m naked mum”.

“Oh! I see. I understand. He’s quite a dish!”

“Mum!”

“We’ll be in the living room, love”, her mother said and left the room.

Elizabeth fell back on the bed and hid her burning face.

“Beth?” Awsten said.

Elizabeth sighed as she got out of bed. “Please Awsten”, she begged.

He walked over to her and pecked her lips, running his hands through her hair. “Beth, please tell me what’s going on”.

“Please just go entertain them”.

He left her alone to get ready.

She just prayed that he wouldn’t hate her after this. Once Elizabeth was dressed, she joined her family and Awsten in the living room. “Mum, Dad, to what do we owe this pleasure?” she asked them.

“Darling, your sister’s getting married”, her mother said.

“Married? To who?”

“David Beech, the Earl of Northampton”, her dad said.

Awsten’s eyes went wide and he started coughing. “Earl?” Awsten asked.

“Elizabeth, have you not told him?” her mother asked.

“Told me what, Elizabeth?” Awsten asked her.

Elizabeth covered her face with her hands as she mumbled, “My name is Elizabeth Warner, Marquess of Pembroke”.

“Marquess? Jesus, were you ever going to tell me?”

“Awsten, I’m so sorry. I came over here to escape everything. Here I was just Elizabeth, your Elizabeth”.

Awsten sighed and said, “You’re still my Elizabeth”.

“So…will you two be attending the wedding?” her mother asked, “Together?”

Awsten looked over at Elizabeth and wrapped his arm around her waist.

“Yes”.

A month later, Elizabeth and Awsten arrived at the venue.

“So your sister didn’t want you to be her maid of honor?” Awsten asked her.

“Trust me, it’s for the best. We’d be fighting all day”.

“Everyone’s staring at us”.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes. “I thought you liked when people stared at you?” she asked him with a smirk, “Believe me, they’re staring at me”.

“Beth, how long have you been away from home?”

Elizabeth bit her lip and said, “I think close to five years”.

“Elizabeth!” she heard. She barely had enough time to turn around before she was tackled to the ground. “Christian! You big oaf! Get off!” she yelled, “God, you’re worse than Geoff and Otto combined”.

Awsten laughed.

“Oh, you must be the boyfriend. Big fan, by the way”, Christian said, standing up and holding his hand out to Awsten.

“Oh yeah, just leave me here on the ground”, Elizabeth said.

Christian and Awsten helped her up.

“Hey, some of us guys were getting ready to start a football match, if you want to join?” Christian asked.

“Umm, I’m not really good at it”, Awsten told him.

“European football, baby”, Elizabeth said.

“Oh! You mean soccer! Yeah, I could go a couple rounds”, Awsten told them.

Awsten got on really well with Elizabeth’s cousins and he promised to bring them backstage the next time Waterparks was in Europe. Awsten was surprised how laid back her family was and they didn’t say anything about his bright hair.

The wedding was beautiful and it made Elizabeth think about her own wedding. The one that she hoped would take place with Awsten a few more years down the line.

Apparently, the same thing was on Awsten’s mind as they danced at the reception.

“How close exactly is your family to the crown?” Awsten asked her.

“Well theoretically if everyone died off, at some point someone in my family would sit on the throne”.

“So, if I married you, I really would be royal?”

Elizabeth giggled and leaned up to kiss Awsten. Elizabeth knew that shit would hit the fan when the pictures of the wedding surfaced online, but right now it was just her and Awsten.

i filled out that entire got damn OC meme not once but four times for my main TES OCs because you know what? i have that power.

featuring: Gavriil, my dragonborn, Serras, the dragonborn’s weird boyfriend/travel companion, Lleris, my Nerevarine, and Gerrick, a non-vestige 2E OC who lives out the aldmeri dominion questline. this thing is long as shit behind the cut, but idc if anyone reads it, i did it for me.

1. It’s a little unreasonable for everyone in a Middle Ages-esque fantasy to be perfectly literate, and writing with quills was considered legitimate labor! How well can your oc read and/or write? How detailed is their quest log/journal, if they keep one at all? -Gav: He's extensively literate and very well read. He keeps a pretty detailed journal going, though it's kind of a hybrid of field notes/emotions log. He does a lot of alchemical research when traveling, so he might have a few pages of notes on reagents, field sketches, etc, then another five pages of intrusive thoughts. His biggest fear is they'll be published after his death and everyone's just gonna be like "huh." -Serras: Just barely literate. He's got very childlike printing abilities, can barely spell, and struggles reading any big words. He's extremely self conscious about this. He doesn't keep any journals, but he writes letters about his adventures to his father every now and again. -Lleris: Again, quite well read. He does a lot more reading than writing, and his journaling is kind of the equivalent of writing notes on his arm. -Gerrick: I'd say he maybe has around an 8th grade reading level. He's got the core stuff down no problem, but as soon as technical jargon or anything too esoteric kicks off, his eyes glaze over.

2. How educated is your oc? Did their parents teach them, did they have a tutor or were they apprenticed to a master, or did they attend a university? What university? What are they educated in? How long did their education take? (Learned skills like blacksmithing count here too!) -Gav: Overly so. He has the education/research equivalent of phD, I'd reckon. All the best schooilng daddy's money could buy. -Serras: He was "home schooled" by a man with no resources undergoing a 30+ year nervous breakdown. So like, it's shitty that Serras is as uneducated as he is, but kind of understandable, given the situation. -Lleris: Also more or less home schooled, but at the opposite end of the spectrum. His aunt (the person who raised him), was a fucking genius. Balls-out eccentric, but a genius. -Gerrick: He was raised and educated by kind of an ensemble cast of characters, so his education is fairly well rounded and extremely based in practical over theoretical. He later joins the mages guild, but he uses that less as an opportunity to pursue higher education, but moreso a way to figure out how to sling a better lightning bolt

3. Does your oc have any kind of crafting skills that either aren’t in-game or don’t have as much importance in-game as they would in real life? (For example, can your oc sew or weave, etc? Are they skilled in any kind of art? Can they make jewelry or work glass? Are they musicians? etc) -Gav has a practical knowledge of most crafts necessary for a sad bachelor life. He can cook well enough to keep himself fed, he can patch up most of the wear in his gear, but nothing that would really impress anyone. I'd imagine, in another lifetime, he played the lute. Not sure he'd remember how at this point, though. -Serras is extremely crafty. He'd an extremely resourceful cook, he can repair just about anything, and he's a natural outdoorsman. Dude's had a lifetime of learning how to do a lot with very, very little. Art is kind of a hobby for him that he doesnt get to indulge in quite as much as he'd like. -Lleris can barely function on his own. He cannot cook a damn thing, when his clothes tear he throws them out, and he almost dies of exposure on more than one occasion. It's a sad sight to behold. -Gerrick is fond of roughin it. His life skills are exactly as honed as they need to be. Not much, but enough to keep him alive and scrappy.

4. What pantheon does your oc worship? If they worship the Cyrodiilic/Imperial pantheon, does that include Talos? If they secretly worship Talos, how do they justify hiding it? -Gav: Pretty straightforward believer in the Altmeri pantheon. He's especially devout to Mara, though he's got a long way to go toward internalizing the whole "love yourself" thing -Serras: He's never really figured out what to believe in. Way back in the day, his family was heavily involved in House Indoril, and when the Tribunal kind of fizzled out, they were all pretty lost and not exactly stoked to go back to worshipping the "good" daedra. That more or less carried down to Serras, although he's not even aware of his ties to House Indoril or any of that Tribunal stuff. He has a learned fear of any sort of daedra, courtesy his father. -Lleris: He's pretty tight with Azura, natch. -Gerrick: Dude straight up does not care, but will absolutely pay lip service to Auri-El if it makes him look good.

5. How religious is your oc? Do they come into conflict with others over their beliefs? If their patron deity told them to do something extremely undesirable or against their moral compass, would they do it? Would your oc sell someone’s soul for a corn chip? -Gav is devout enough to have taken a shake at becoming a priest. Didn't pan out, because he couldn't deal with the pressure of being any kind of authority figure, and he's been kind of having a crisis of faith in the midst of his most recent extended nervous breakdown. As soon as he starts clearing his head again, he pretty much goes back to being pretty dang devout. -Serras is struggling to figure out his moral compass on his own. He wouldn't mind being religious, but growing up in a non-religious setting can make it hard to just start believing in something. -Lleris becomes way more into Azura worship as the whole Nerevarine thing plays out, and he would absolutely fuck things up in her name. His sour opinion of the Tribunal is absolutely influenced by Azura’s grudge. -Gerrick, again, does not care. His morals are his own, and no one's going to talk him into doing something that doesn't align with his own beliefs about life.

6. Does your oc have a family of origin? How many members of their FoO are still living? Do they have a good relationship? How much contact does your oc have with their FoO? How in-the-loop is your oc’s FoO about your oc’s being Dragonborn/HoK/Nerevarine? -Gavriil's immediate family are all still alive (except his sister, who died before he was born), and they have not been in contact in like, 200 years. None of them even know if he's still alive until a few years after the whole Dragonborn thing starts making its way back to Auridon. His parents are just kind of like "huh." and then continue to never bring him up in conversation. His younger brother eventually seeks him out to try and forge the relationship they never got to have. -Serras has a codependent relationship with his father. They love each other a lot, but their relationship was very, very unhealthy. That's the major reason why he ended up leaving home, because he finally realized the only way to heal the unhealthy dynamic was to learn how to be his own person. He has a pretty good relationship with his (maternal) aunt. His mother is still alive, and he has three half-siblings he's never met. None of them ever end up meeting. His mom never does figure out what happened to her firstborn. It is what it is. -Lleris is completely on his own at this point. His parents died when he was barely a year old, and he went to go live with his wacky aunt abroad. Those two were thick as thieves, but when she passed, Lleris was legit on his own. -Gerrick and his weird pirate family are all still on good terms. Both of his parents are still alive and although they dont see each other often, it's a grand old time when they finally do.

7. What social class was your oc born into? Did they change classes at all? How? -Gav: Super, super upper-crust. His family was nobles marrying nobles all the way back, and Gav just couldn't cut it in that world. His slump into absolute poverty is gradual, but pretty vicious. He does eventually pick himself up out of the gutter, but I'll go more into that a few questions down. -Serras: He was born into a weird, backwoods cult and spends the next 30-something years of his life living an extremely hand-to-mouth existence either in some slum or the legit middle of nowhere. Dude wasn’t exactly born into privilege. -Lleris: He was born into House Telvanni and lived a pretty well to do life until he was in his early 20s. After his aunt passed, he lived a few months as a street urchin before being arrested, then he slogs across Vvardenfell for like three years, "re-joins" House Telvanni and starts living a cushy life again, then gets tossed onto an Akavir-bound boat with a bag over his head. Takes a bit of a while before he lives the high life again after that. -Gerrick: Outlaw from birth. He was the son of the ship’s captain and her then-lover, and he was raised by the entire crew, more or less. He grows up to become, of all things, an Eye of the Queen. Yeah.

8. How politically active is your oc? Are they obviously influential, or is their influence more subtle? -Gav willfully keeps his head in the sand when it comes to politics, especially in places he doesn't think of as home. It's not an accident that he started moving further and further away from Summerset as the Thalmor became more entrenched in local politics. He absolutely does not touch the Imperial/Stormcloak tension. And honestly, even when he was at the height of his Dragonborn influence, no one wanted his opinion about the war, because not a single person in Skyrim wants to hear what an Altmer has to say about Nord politics. -Serras has a lot of opinions about the way Nords treat non-Nords, but he has pretty much no political agency. -Lleris starts out mostly entangled in Telvanni politics and helps his bff Aryon sack Gothren. He also tries and mostly fails to rub elbows with Neloth, because Neloth. Later on down the Nerevarine rabbit hole, he starts getting more and more vocal in general Morrowind politics, which culminates in him "volunteering" to go "explore" Akavir. -Gerrick, surprisingly for someone born a pirate, he canonically carries out the Aldmeri Dominion questline from ESO, so yeah he's just a little bit involved in politics.

9. What unplayable faction would/did your oc join, if any? Why? -Gav is associated with the Mage's guild, or I guess was associated. Which by the way? Bullshit that the guild was written out. But also, since I absolutely headcanon that enough of House Telvanni survives the Red Year to rebuild outside of Vvardenfell, I also imagine Gavriil worming his way into House Telvanni after he busts ass out of Skyrim. He never becomes very involved in House politics, he's more interested in going back into academia. Which he does. He more or less spends the rest of his days chillin in a mushroom house in Morrowind, writing books about levitating and shit. -Serras briefly had a stint with the Skyrim thieves guild, but he cuts ties pretty quickly because he is pretty disgusted with robbing from the poor to give to Maven Black-Briar. -Lleris has always had ties to House Telvanni, though he does have a brief stint with the Mages Guild before they are like holy shit, please leave us alone forever. He later swings by Solstheim as an old man to bother Neloth, who is like holy shit, please leave me alone forever. -Gerrick may not actively be a pirate anymore, but he is on pretty good terms with a bunch of them.

10. How trustworthy is your oc? Would they ever change opposing factions? -Gav: He's pretty much your lawful good kind of guy. He's decently loyal, even if only due to constant, overbearing guilt. At very worst, he'll just disappear rather than fulfill an obligation, but he'd sooner die than double cross anyone. -Serras: This is a guy who's mostly looking out for himself and the ones closest to him. In otherwords, Gavriil and/or his father. Probably not wise to put too much trust into him otherwise, because he's not exactly loyal if he's not actively benefitting from the arrangement. That said, he's not too much of a double-crosser, but don't trust him not to steal from you then lie about it. -Lleris: His loyalty can be bought. He won't feel too many qualms about changing sides if it benefits him more. So far, no one's offered him a better gig than being a champion of Azura, so it'd take a lot to get him to betray her. -Gerrick: His trustworthiness is super situational. He's in tight with Ayrenn, because you can't get much better than being the queen's go-to guy. He's smart enough to know not to betray her or the people involved with her. For the average person that he meets? Might be best to sleep with your eyes open around him. Patty is pretty much the only other person he wouldn't stab in the back at the drop of a hat. Outlaw roots, and all.

11. What is your oc’s main source of income, if they have one besides plundering tombs and adventuring? If they’re mercenaries, are they part of a company? Does your oc own their own business, and if so, what is it? -Gav has no source of income. Most of what he earns in his time in Skyrim is from acts of charity. For a few months, he pulls a legit job copying old texts for a bookseller in Solitude, but that only lasts as long as his precarious mental state will allow. Apart from that, he's pretty reliant on Serras's money. -Serras steals almost impulsively. He doesn't exactly keep a steady income, but its enough to keep both him and Gavriil in good supplies. Mostly. That they're both living off the land a lot does help. -Lleris does a lot of odd jobs where ever he goes. That and he has a bit of a history of pawning high ticket items that don't exactly belong to him. Keep your eyes on your soul gems when he’s in your house. -Gerrick lives the high life when he's actively working for the queen, but between Queens Eye stints, he's mostly earning a mercenary's salary. And he picks a lot of pockets. Why do I have so many thief-y characters?

12. Is your oc good with finances? Bartering? How long can they keep the money they make? -Gavriil: Not at all. At least not anymore. His parents never really taught him the art of finance to begin with, and his whole "functional" alcoholism thing makes it a bit hard to hang onto his money. He does get a bit better with time, but it DOES take time. -Serras: He's very good at knowing what things generally cost. Not worth the risk of stealing something that doesn’t get a good return. -Lleris: He can spend pretty loosely, but he also earns a fat cut with all the daedric weapons he gets his hands on. Him and that mudcrab merchant are pretty familiar with each other. -Gerrick: Generally earns a lot more than he spends. His standard of living is not particularily high, so even when he's "living large," he's not living THAT large.

13. Does your oc have any particular rivalry or mutual dislike with any NPC? -Gavriil has a really reluctant relationship with Delphine. He doesn't particularily respect her, and she's not impressed with who he is and who he chooses to be. That said, they do both realize they have some level of dependence on each other, right up until Delphine gives him the ultimatum about New BFF Paarthunax. After that he's like "lol bye" and they never see each other again. -Serras hates pretty much everyone in Skyrim for some reason or another, but they're all extremely one-sided relationships, because no one knows who the fuck he is. -Lleris is in the shit with virtually everyone in the Mages Guild, as well as anyone in every other great house. Both because of his connections with House Telvanni and, well, Lleris can be hard to be around sometimes. -Gerrick had always had a bad feeling about Estre and the fucking second she shows her ass, Gerrick's all “I FUCKING KNEW IT.” Estre wishes Gerrick would just die because who the HELL is this half-Maormer pirate asshole who's suddenly playing way too big of a part in Summerset politics.

14. How well-liked is your oc? What is their reputation, if they’re well-known? Are they simply liked/disliked, or are they respected but feared, or personally liked but not taken seriously, etc? Do major factions consider your oc an important player? -Gav: People have such mixed reactions to him. They usually hear about him well before they meet him, and at first they're like oh shit!!! Dragonborn!!!! Then they meet him and they're like uuuh he's a weird homeless dude with blatant unaddressed trauma. Kind of wish he wasn't the one who was going toe to toe with all these dragons. -Serras: Who? -Lleris: House Telvanni loves him. Except for like, Gothren, who gets killed by him. And Neloth, who never did get that robe of drake's pride. And Dratha. As for the rest of Vvardenfell, people start slowly warming up to him as he becomes more certifiably Nerevarine. Then they get real sick of him again. -Gerrick: His reputation is tied firmly with how someone feels about Ayrenn. If they like her, then Gerrick is unconventional but damnit, he gets the job done. If they oppose Ayrenn, then Gerrick is symbolic of everything that's wrong with Ayrenn and her foreign policy.

15. Does your oc have a horse/other mount? A pet? How did they get this animal? If they were given the animal, do they have the money to maintain it? How careful/careless are they with their animal? What do they do with their pets while adventuring, especially on dangerous quests? -Gerrick is the only one, and he has a giant stag mount that kind of comes and goes. He also has a constant clannfear familiar, which is, you know, conjured.

16. Does your oc take their time as they travel, or are they purposeful? How do they survive in the wilds, especially if they aren’t hunter-types? How dependent is your oc on civilized society? -Gav and Serras both spend ample time in the wilderness, even if civilization might be available. Gavriil enjoys keeping a low profile more and more as the whole Dragonborn affair goes on, and toward the end, he's keeping his head down as much as possible. Serras is fine with it because that's just what his life's like. -Lleris makes a beeline from town to town and will take silt striders whenever possible. He doesn't know how to hunt or dress game, he can barely pitch a tent, and more often than not will just sleep on the bare-ass ground like an idiot. Again, he has almost died of exposure on more than one occasion. -Gerrick could disappear into the wilderness for months and be just fine. He could be equally fine spending months in the middle of a major city. He's flexible.

17. What does your oc like to eat? How much food do they eat? Can your oc cook, and can they do it well? -Gav used to be a super picky eater in his earlier years. Now he'll eat anything that'll keep him alive. Too much grain alcohol has dulled his sense of taste. He knows how to decently fire-roast small animals, but he's not exactly an inspirational cook. -Serras is a fan of good food. One of the biggest inspirations for him teaching himself how to cook was so that he could eat good food on the reg. He can make a little go a long way, in terms of quality of ingredients. -Lleris is the kind of guy who'd burn spaghetti. -Gerrick is a pretty decent cook. His specialty is hearty campfire shit like stews and chowders.

18. What does your oc wear in the city/settlements? In the house? When travelling, but not adventuring or expecting combat? Do they vary their clothes depending on what hold/city they’re in? If they don’t, why not (e.g., if your oc wears the same outfit to tend their garden or lounge around the house as they did to meet Ulfric or Elisif, why?) Does your oc have a good or bad sense of fashion? How many clothes does your oc have? -Gavriil has one outfit, the same tunic and threadbare enchanted robe he's worn for the past dozen or so miles. It's all he's got, babey. -Serras has more outfits than you'd expect from the kind of guy who lives out of a tent 10 months out of the year. He likes to look cute. Also, he's almost always wearing a scarf, because he's pretty sure that's just what Dunmer do. -Lleris's outfit of choice is flowing, elegant mage robes, daedric boots, and pretty much nothing else. Naked under your robes seems like a pretty Telvanni thing to do, if we're being honest here. -Gerrick wears roguish pirate garb fairly often during the adventure phase, but he does have some fancy threads when he's in the company of royalty.

19. How picky is your oc about their gear? Do they have different equipment for different adventures, or is it the same suit of armor for everything (not counting upgrades like from steel to ebony)? -Gav, again, has one outfit. He does swap out his tunic after one is shredded/absolutely drenched in his own blood, but the robe has been with him for years at this point. He cannot be assed to enchant a new one. -Serras is not particularily picky about what his kit looks like. He's usually fine with a bit of leather armor, but he opts for pauldrons more often than not as, again, he's convinced that's just what Dunmer do. -Lleris won't wear it if it's not cute. -Gerrick is surprisingly discerning about his gear. He has a very high standard for what his weapons should look like, and everything needs to be properly enchanted if he's gonna be using it.

20. How does your oc acquire their clothes, and from where/whom? -Gav's robe is an old piece he enchanted himself when he was a bit more put together, and the rest of his outfit is more or less charity. Like hey, couldn't help but notice you got nearly torn in half by a dragon, can I offer you this shirt? -Serras's clothes were all honestly bought with money he earned from pawning stolen goods. Hmm. -Lleris will always make the time to shop for cute outfits when he gets to a big city. The boots? Conjured. -Gerrick's things were mostly honest purchases, but not all of them. He's not above pulling a pair of nice boots off a dead man's feet.

21. Can your oc swim, and how well? Have they ever swam in the ocean, or only lakes/rivers? Remember, it’s much harder to swim in the ocean than in a lake! If your oc is an Argonian, do they take special advantage of it somehow (e.g., do they go diving for fun/for profit, do they instinctively hide in the water, etc)? If your oc is a Khajiit who can swim, how do they get their fur dry? -Gav was born by the sea and as long as the water is warm, he loves to swim. The rivers and lakes in Skyrim are all too damn cold for him, even in the summer, so he water walks more often than he swims. -Serras is a decently strong swimmer, though he's never actually seen the ocean. Rivers and lakes, though, no big deal. -Lleris can barely swim and will water walk 99% of the time he encounters water. Even though he knows a water breathing spell, he's never actually used it. -Gerrick was born on a boat and is half Maormer. He fucking knows how to swim ok.

22. How easy/difficult is it to rob your oc? Pickpocket? Bribe? -Gav: Too easy. He's got nothing of value to take, so his guard is at like, 0. -Serras: He's a pickpocket by trade, he knows all the tricks. You'd have to be pretty fucking crafty to life something from under his nose. Even if you did, you can be sure as shit he'd steal it right back. -Lleris: He's been robbed a handful of times. -Gerrick: It wouldn't be impossible to pick his pocket, just very difficult and very unwise.

23. If your oc is part of one of the more morally questionable or outright evil factions, how do they justify it to themselves? Do they still consider themselves as morally good? How well known is their affiliation to these groups? Do they have separate personas (e.g. Dragonborn to some people, Listener to others)? Do their family/friends know? If they have separate personas, how do they keep their less than righteous activities secret? -Gav, despite being provably morally good, deals with a lot of completely unjustified guilt. He doesn't think of himself as that great of a person, because he feels too selfish. -Serras doesn't really hide that he's a thief by trade, at least to anyone who knows him. He's had his shot at honest work, and he just couldn't cut it. And well, a dude's gotta make a living somehow. He tries to keep his mind clear by only stealing from people who can afford to have things go missing. Or just if he hates them. Either way. -Lleris is very hush-hush about any work he's done with the thieves guild. He doesn't consider him to be affiliated with them, moreso that they stay in fleeting business arrangements, arrangements which become less and less frequent the more involved he gets in Telvanni politics. -Gerrick having pirate roots is something of an open secret. Part of his appeal as an Eye is his roguishness, and it's not exactly hard for him to work with shadowy sources. He'll never deny his heritage to anyone who directly asks. Not many people have the gall to do that, however, so rumors do fly.

24. How helpful is your oc, and why? Are they helpful or kind even during difficult situations? Are they pragmatic, or do they have a hero syndrome? -Gav has a weird obligation on/off switch. He feels guilted into helping people in certain situations, while he can walk away from others with a clear conscience. When the guilt hits, he will go so far against his own interests to help people, even if he's actively suffering as he does so. Even then, god does he hate being recognized as some kind of hero. Nothing he does in Skyrim makes him feel like a hero, and he actively lives out the world's most aggressive case of imposter syndrome even after Alduin fucking dies. He immediately leaves Skyrim after Alduin's death, because he can't live with the recognition he feels he fell dick first into. No one knows or cares who the Dragonborn is in Morrowind, so he busts ass to the eastern border the second his ass gets back to Nirn. -Serras historically doesn't go that far out of his way to help people, unless they're someone he already cares about, or who he owes some kind of debt. Part of his Growth is slowly taking up his father's mantel as a healer, and dedicating the rest of his life to helping people. Big claps for Serras! -Lleris has such a bad hero syndrome. The fucking second he gets the impression that he might be Nerevarine, that's how he's introducing himself to people. He does get to play big damn hero for a little while after the events at Red Mountain, but the novelty does eventually wear off, at least for the people around him. Well into his second or third century, he'll still bring up that time he was Azura's champion and killed not one, but two living gods. For like the thousandth time. -Gerrick can help or hurt. When he's helpful, he's super fucking helpful. He's your fucking MVP. But the second you cross him, he’ll be out for blood. And while he does have a reputation that often precedes him, he doesn't exactly milk it.

8. How did you get involved in your latest fandom?

well, my Best Bitch @coachzed and I basically work better together then we usually do alone. and Jess has always been a musical geek, right? when hamilton became super popular a few years ago, she watched it with me, and we both adored it–though out interest in the fandom was pretty passive/casual. however, she tries a lot of musicals in general, so eventually, she decided to try the BMC ost. as she already loved the original book’s writing (she’s a ned vizzini fan), she fell in love basically immediately

at the beginning, it was hard to tell whether her interest would stick around (we’ve both had minifandoms before, yknow? and BMC’s, at a glance, seems pretty basic), but�� well. yknow how sometimes the cosmos lines up perfectly?

It’d been several years since Jess had latched onto her old fandom, and her muse was itching for a break from it

I was already tired of basically everything, but my own muse was FINALLY ready to work again after about 6 months of intense depression

Jess swallowed her own doubts about her interests (bitch doesn’t understand how incredible she is for reasons so like, so tell her how amazing she is and READ SMOKE SIGNALS YOU COWARDS) and took a leap of fate by showing me a playlist-outline she’d made for a theoretical BMC fic

I was finally starting to let go of my lonely pining for Percy Weasley and needed a new need comfort waifu ™

Jess put Jeremy, a character neither of us were super interested in (I hadn’t rewatched the OST yet and I hadn’t read the script nor the og book), in a position that happened to appeal to me, and I was feeling creatively motivated enough to take a deeper look

“Ah, I think out of all the sex stories I’ve ever read, that one interacted the most with my sadism/violent urges. All of the sexual content didn’t really do anything for me sexually, it was all just making me want to hurt someone. I wouldn’t say I ‘liked’ it, that feels like too positive an emotion. This is more like Oyasumi Punpun. Satisfying, but in the same way getting punched in the face is satisfying when I’m worked up.”
