i think having TF2 as a special interest really early in my childhood influenced so many things about myself and my identity.... my gender is big men my sexuality is big men and my sense of humour is big men. i even named myself after the "very tiny and scrawny but still big" big man and i think about all the big men in TF2 on a semi daily basis,,,,,, anyway yeah i like the men in TF2 :)

Oh god I just remembered an insane tf2 dream I had hear me out

I tend to have dreams where I just wander empty towns for hours and I don't see a single human being but as I was rounding a corner suddenly a few of the mercs appear (engineer, sniper, and I think scout and spy? and someone else) and I'm like Holy Shit so I stop them instantly and ask "Are you guys going to a battle?" And when engie says yeah, I ask if I can join them to which he says they kind of have a full team already but I ask if I can follow them anyways and sniper goes "Sure, you can just sit there and draw us" so I go :D and we go on our way.

The walk was long and in silence but I was? playing with my 3DS? and as I glance at them I notice that there's someone I don't know, a really short dude with emo like black hair and a vest but he was wearing the same red color as the rest of the team and he was constantly following sniper very closely and I was like ?????? but I ignored him.

When we got to the battlefield (it was just a big forest clearing) one of them points forward and goes "That's them right there!" and when I look at the enemy it was....jellyfish aliens... and then the dream ended

OHHH MAN i havent thought about any of my tf2 ocs in a hot minute! Id like to give him a coat of fresh paint and revamp him a little! Mostly to fit the tone of tf2 a bit better… make him sillier…

My general idea for him was just sort of having him be a campy noir-type detective who very much acts like hes in an old black and white film. He annoys people because hes simultaneously taking himself too seriously and not taking anything seriously at all. Is it for the bit? Who knows. (The answer is probably btw. I think it would be funny if he wasn’t actually licensed for shit and everything he knows is based off of old movies but also wouldnt want a repeat theme since medic already has that whole schtick going on to a degree)
