Thank you for the foundation tip! 8 have more questions regarding concealers, primers, setting spray and eye showdown palettes? Basically everything else too like blush eyeliner highlighters etc because I'm such a beginner 😭 Which one is your favorites and any more recommendations with dry skin?
*WARNING: Long makeup answer*Concealers: drugstore pretty much anything maybeline. I use high end when I'm at work or a fancy event. NARS radiant creamy concealer is my favorite. I also like the tarte's maracuja creaseless concealer and Sephora's brand. If it's anything that I splurge on for makeup, it's my concealer 💀Primers, I kind of talked about face primes in the last post. For eye primers I never really cared for it but I ether use urban decays primer potion, or the too faced primer insurance one. I never really bought them they came with a package or like testers. I only use them when I want my eyeshadow to stay for like fancy events. Other than that, for beginners I wouldn't worry too much(unless you have oily eyelids). Most times I forget and just rely on my concealer. Just make sure you set it and then apply eyeshadow. Eyeshadow: I mainly use two palettes. My morphe 35o or my too faced semi-sweet chocolate bar. If you're a beginner stick with morphe, it's cheap and worth it! If anything the trick to making eyeshadow look bomb is blending and building the color. Don't go to heavy. It's a process! My brushes are mainly from morphe too! You don't need expensive palettes but I definitely love too faced/tarte. I've been dying to get my hands on the tarte's tartlette in bloom clay eyeshadow palette though🙊 for another cheap eyeshadow brand, I've heard only great things about colourpop from my friends so that would probably be my next buy whenever I feel like it. Blush/Bronzer: I honestly don't use blush too much but I have this great blush/bronze palette from Benefit(limited edition! Not sure if it's available still though but I'm sure the individual shades are available). The two blushes are dandelion and Coralista. I usually mix the two. My favorite bronzer is the hoola(I think almost every YouTube makeup guru has this and raves about it). I use that to contour and sometimes to deepen it I use the darker bronzer in the palette called, Dallas. Another great bronzer/contour kit is the Anastasia Beverly Hills one. I know these are high end but for beginners, I probably started with Nyx's bronzers and blush from maybeline! Highlighters: I don't have many. Just two: drugstore, I've only used nyx(I forgot what it was called) and for high end Becca cosmetics-Jaclyn Hill's Champagne Pop😍 to apply, I'm not that extra I don't use a fan brush although I think it's easier. I just use my finger for the tip of my nose and this one angled brush? Almost like a contour brush but not. It just came with my whole set from BH cosmetics(cheap in like Amazon). I would YouTube more drugstore highlights if you're into that. I'm not that crazy for it. Eyeliner: I don't play. I always use Stila(been like 6 years now). Never anything else. It's AMAZING. For beginners though, and if you don't want to spends $20 something on eyeliner go for either maybeline or elf. My friend recently bought elf just to touch up cause she forgot her eyeliner and the next hour she got a compliment lol. So I'd say elf isn't too bad to practice with. Not sure on the waterproof though. Eyebrows: I outline with Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade in medium brown, then fill in with the brow powder duo in soft brown. I use the lightest shade in the front and brush it out. Brown in the middle and depending if I want it or not, I'll add black eyeshadow or a darker brown from which ever palette just to sharpen the end of my brow and add more dimension I guess. I sometimes set it with gel but most times I forget. If you're a beginner I used to take the tester spoolies(the eyebrow brush) from Sephora and just spray hairspray on the brush then use that to set my hairs. Mascara: drugstore, maybeline stiletto. Really waterproof and hold the curl! High end, too faced better than sex mascara. Idk about the waterproof version though, heard on off things about it. I hope I answered most things! 💖
