Bad news....My 10 year old dog just passed away today. she was in pain and they had to put her down...😭 and Christmas day just yesterday...why did she have to go...

Saturday Morning Walk

It’s that time of the year, when we go for a walk and experience all the outdoor scents of people baking on their balconies at 8:30 in the morning. Alternating with the smell of some people’s fabric softener wafting through the sidewall exhaust manifolds.

My dog is gone. I didn't want to leave his body. I tell myself he's only sleeping, he's just tired. But I feel his chest go still and his ears go cold, and I know that this beloved house is no longer a home to the one I called dear. My beloved is prancing amongst the stars. I can still feel him, feel his warmth, far away. I miss my dog.

Honestly, I don’t know if I’m just super homesick, cause I’ve been living in another country for almost a year now, but God I really feel at home in my bed with my old dog sleeping next to me.

But idk, I also feel at home when I’m with people I can just be myself. Which I know is not really a place but if I’m surrounded by the right people I'll feel at home pretty much anywhere so…
