reading Murtagh is so fun because even though I haven't revisited the Inheritance Cycle in years now, I still know exactly what's going on. it was my longest lasting hyperfixation and changed my brain chemistry in a way that is never recoverable. everything about it is so deeply ingrained in my mind. I know the map of Alagaësia better than a map of like. germany. characters, plot, languages, it's all In There. I meant to brush up on the series before I started this book but it turns out it wasn't necessary at all. I have forgotten Nothing.

I like to do both, but more unknown places are fun to either discover myself or be shown by someone who loves the city.

History, I love learning about history, but I didn’t study either at school - I now do some history.

Forests with lakes, although rivers really make me think of home - in my home city my grandma lives next to a river, as does my dad, at uni I live near a river and in Vienna I commute across the river which I love.
