#i started ali adl*r’s book ‘how to f*ck a woman’ the other night#and was excited bc i’ve had it for ages but haven’t really been reading much besides fic#anyway i started it expecting it to be awesome since i pretty much give her all the showrunning credit for s*perg*rl as it once was#(and tbf she probably deserves it because the show went to shit when she left/was forced out)#but YIKES this book is bad y’all#i just mads it through a few chapters before giving up#it’s weirdly heteronormative considering that ali’s gay?#like i was excited to read a ‘how to’ style book by a queer woman that i assumed would be meant for everyone who likes sleeping with women#but nope it’s all about dudes#and omg it is SO transphobic#not blatantly hateful or anything but in just a couple of chapters there have been dozens of women = p*ssy and men = c*ck references#like literally referring to women as just vaginas and men as just penises#i’m not gonna keep reading but i was just genuinely wondering if anyone else has read this or heard similar things?#or if anyone who’s read the whole thing might have more insight?#it’s a bummer ngl
