Twice/Hawks Anon: So if the spoiler summary for MHA ch. 292 is accurate, then I have concerns...

I thought I had finally divorced myself from BNHA and couldn’t be emotionally moved by it anymore but hoo boy did Horikoshi prove me wrong... I am PISSED. 

I apologize I’m about to rant under the cut. This is basically going to be a “live” reaction to the leaks. Spoiler warning my opinion of this chapter is really negative.  

So chapter starts off w/ BJ expressing distaste for Dabi talking about his trauma and relating it to Hero society... 

The leaks dont mention BJ reacting to the fact that E slut is an abuser so that’s going to be a big Yikes from me. Way to completely miss the point of what Dabi was saying Jeanist 🙄 

Dabi is shocked that BJ is alive and that the dead body was supposed to be a real body. And here is where shit gets weird cuz it turns out that the fake corpse was made of JEANS!!! that’s right! Hawks showed Dabi a fucking jorpse and got away with it!! 🙃🙃🙃

Nejire gets burned cuz Shigaraki force activates Dabi’s quirk???? brooo wtfffff dont do that to Dabi!! 😭 

Also how much do yall wanna bet that Nejire is gonna be handicapped and wont be able to be a hero anymore 🙃 cuz god forbid the Cute Innocent girls in this manga actually do anything useful

I’m gonna wait for a better translation before commenting on Dabi’s and Shouto’s comments abt their family. But if it’s tru that Dabi says that he doesn’t care about Natsu anymore and that he’s happy to kill Shouto then I think we need to take into consideration that Dabi is in a really emotionally vulnerable state rn and is probably lying to himself to make things easier. 

But thats just my opinion and im not the best person to talk abt Dabi meta w/ 😅

And finally we reach the Best part of this chapter! /s 

Mirio’s miraculous return!!!! I already kinda talked abt this on my other post but jfc this was such an asspull. 

Idk wtf Hori was thinking but it really feels like he’s trying to wrap up this arc asap (or he was trying to imitate avengers endgame??? who knows).  

Overall this chapter is a mess. Idk how Hori managed to shove in sm bad writing in a single chapter but Hori always manages to find a way to subvert my expectations!!  🙃

I firmly believe that this is the worst chapter of bnha to date. I haven’t felt this frustrated by Hori’s writing since the shitty Todo dinner arc.
