•a couple seconds later cal broke away wiping his mouth “that felt nice..” “uh..yeah..can we do it again?” They go back to kissing but before they could break apart Rachel opens the door “ok you guys can-…” cal and Andre froze before breaking apart looking at Rachel “what?” Andre said annoyed “you know you guys can stay in there….” She said closing the door

It had been the seventh time Will had puked this morning, not counting when he woke up out of the blue and puked over the bed sheets AND had to wake Connor up because he didn't want either of them lying/sleeping in a puke covered bed.

Connor just kept rubbing Will's back and comforted him. Will was on the verge of crying, not just because the puking was beginning to become painful; but something felt wrong.

'Will?', It was Connor. Will realized he had probably spaced out between puking episodes.

'Are you okay?'

'Yeah.. No, No I'm not. Something feels wrong I- I don't know where but something is wrong.'

Will shuddered as a cold shiver ran down his spine, 'Can we get up now? Cuddle on the couch maybe?'

Will looked at Connor with his big brown puppy eyes; not that he needed to do that, Connor would have agreed either way.

After they had both left the bathroom, Connor Bridle-Style carried Will to the couch and sat him on the furniture.

'Con.. If I'm thinking right and this sickness could be something else...'

'Do you want to take the test Will?' Connor asked, knowing exactly what Will was thinking.

'Yes, that's precisely what I want to do. What if it's negative and I'm just sick?'

Connor sighed , 'We'll find out when that "What if" happens, Okay?'

They both laughed. Realizing how much Will had said that in the past few months.

Will almost screamed.. If that was good or bad he didn't really care, he'd taken the test and it came back - POSITIVE - He was ready to start crying right now.

He didn't know how he was going to tell Connor, considering Connor was at work because Will had told him he was being a "Hover". Connor was reluctant to return to work at this point in time, but he agreed - because y'know it's Will you can't say no- he left at 5am and would be coming back at 8pm.

Will was contemplating telling Jay (and Adam because they were a couple, about time really). So Will picked up his phone and dialed Jay's number.

Will got the call back around half past 6 that night. Having already curled into bed feeling sick the second time that day. He rolled over onto his stomach and picked up his phone and answered the face time from Adam.

'Hey Will! Oh you look pale like more pale than usual, are you okay?'

'Yeah, I'm good at least I'm not dying.'

'Okay good!'

'Hey where's Jay?'

'Oh! He's in the shower' - Adam looked behind himself - 'He should be out soon.'

'Alright. Hey Adam, Omega to Omega - Man to Man, I wanna tell you first and see how you think of it.'

Will got up and took his phone with him, went into the bathroom and sat on the vanity making sure not to knock anything off.

'I'm-' Will picked up his positive pregnancy test - 'Pregnant!' - He showed the camera the test and Adam's face lit up with joy.

'Omg! Wait, you're not pranking me are you?'

'Of Course not Ads! Why would I?'

In the background of Adam's call Will heard the shower turn off, the next thing he heard made both he and Adam laugh out loud;

'What's all the yelling for, what are you two conspiring?!'

'Better come quick Jay! Before we finish our plans to ruin your reputation!'

Will was sent into another bout of laughter at what Adam had said.

Jay came out in a black shirt and black track pants, climbing onto the bed and laying on top of Adam.

'Hey! Get off!'

'Yeah Jay got off him, I want another brother by the end of the year!'

'Oh, you want another one?! I might just get rid of him just to rub it in your face!'

Adam and Will both yelled in unison 'NO!'

When they had all stopped laughing and wheezing Jay finally asked -

'So? what's up?' - He'd gotten off of Adam and the couple were both sitting up against the headboard of the bed and cuddling.

Will let out a breath and looked down to study the hidden test in his hand. He didn't know how Jay would react, with genetics and all...

'Jay... I- I'm pregnant.'

He once again held up the test.

'*gasp* That's amazing Will! Congrats. Have you told Connor?'

'No. I haven't, I took the test after he went to work. I wanted to tell him after.'

'He left you at home!'

'Adam.. I MADE him go to work, he didn't leave me here.'

'okay good.'

Will heard a door open, then checked the time.

'oh shi- I gotta go, keep this a secret please.'

'Of course little bro.'

'Of course Will.'

'Bye guys, I'll see you around!'

Jay and Adam spoke in unison;

'Bye!!'

Will hid the test in his back pocket, and trudged downstairs to see Connor putting his favorite takeaways and the kitchen counter.

'I love you Connor Rhodes.'

Will walked over to Connor and stood beside him with his arms outstretched for a hug. Connor turned to Will, he didn't embrace Will instead he wrapped his arms around Will's waist and pulled him in for a kiss. Will reacted by wrapping his arms around Connor's neck and deepening the kiss.

'What was that for?'

'I wasn't ready to leave you alone. I couldn't think when I didn't know if you were safe or not.'

'That reminds me, why are you home early?'

'Maggie sent me home, apparently she could "sense my distress".

'Hmm okay.'

 During dinner Will was reminded about the test in his back pocket he had to show Connor. So, Will plucked up the courage and stood up in front of Connor.

'Everything okay, Sunshine?'

Will opened his hands and pushed them towards Connor. Connor looked between Will and Will's hands.

'Yeah.. I found out this morning. I told Adam and Jay..'

'That's okay, I'm glad you told me tonight instead of tomorrow.'

Will chuckled and hugged Connor, clinging to him.

'Connor Rhodes, carry me to bed.'

yeah, i don't lie a lot either, not only because i'm just really bad at it but also i'm a pretty honest person, i rarely see a reason to lie about something to people i'm close with. i do lie to teachers too though. because i am not just gonna tell them that i'm planning on procrasting an assignment for 3 weeks and then doing it on the last night. no, thank you. about that i can lie very convincingly.

there was also this one memorable occasion where i was lying horribly and then somehow managed to save the situation? it was weird. basically this guy i was friends with asked me out and I panicked coz i didnt want to hurt his feelings but i really didnt like him that way, so i said i'm sorry i have a crush on someone so i'm not emotionally available. and he was like oh cool who is it? because he obviously didn't believe me (see: my terrible lying skillz) and i was like oh it's my classmate [insert random name that does not belong to any of my classmates] and he asked for his facebook because again: didn't believe me. and so i panicked even more because i didn't know any people with that name so i told him yeah you caught me, i was lying, i actually have a crush on my best friend (we're both girls) so hopefully ur not homophobic dude. he was not homophobic! so that was great, even if i did lie so horribly at first that i had to come out to save my lie 🤷‍♀️

i'm pan ace by the way! and i'm only out as pan to 5 (i think) people irl and literally no one outside of tumblr knows that i'm ace (because i'm apparently really horrible at telling who in my life is aphobic and after one attempt at coming out as ace and backtracking asap i did not try again!)

also, i figured that you would like to know, that i found some hair dye i bought before (the second) quarantine in my country started and forgot about. so i dyed my hair red again! at 1am (well it's 12.30 but thats close enough right?) i also accidentally dyed my favorite (white) sleep shirt red because in my excitement i forgot to change. so now it looks like someone's head was cut off while wearing it! the chaos! i'm loving it

Oh yeah, I had this one lecturer last trimester that would give you assignments and expect you to have started them like, a solid month before it was due. If it was like a MASSIVE assignment I would understand of course. But half the time it was just like a 1000 or 2000 word essay. Two weeks from the due date I’m pretty sure she expected a draft. That is of course not what I did. I’m over here chatting with my tutor the day it’s due like yeah I started last night gonna try to get it done by the due time tonight :)) shoutout to that tutor, I gave her second-hand anxiety and stress and she did not deserve it. But when talking to the lecturer? nooo I’ve made a start for sure :). On the other hand that was my worst class last trimester and my results just. weren’t vibing. so maybe I should’ve started weeks prior sdkfsdfsk. Lying to teachers about having started an assessment is my specialty. stressing tutors out about having not started so close to the date is also my speciality (i’m so sorry sdfkshdf).

oh my god what a legendary way of saving that lie in the end. that’s incredible. I think I would’ve panicked so much in that situation it just would’ve been stuttered half words and a sprint in literally any direction to get away. What a save. 10/10 quick thinking skills there honestly. to be fair there also weren’t enough people in my high school to get away with naming a fake person. when a guy asked ME out I just stood there staring at him with great fear until he reminded me I could say no so I said uh, yeah, I mean no sorry, and speed-walked away. he was good about it though. until I found out he wanted to ask me to the ball in year 12 I believe and I suddenly disappeared whenever he entered a room. Weird how that worked. so strange. odd. top 10 unexplainable things in the world.

so when I was younger I was ‘dating’ this guy on minecraft. there! i said the first sentence! cue laughter! meanwhile a guy at school had started to show interest in me (the dude above) and i mean. what was i gonna say. sorry dude i’m actually dating someone on minecraft so :)) can’t date you! but some friends got really curious about why I was so against dating him because we did actually get along pretty well as friends. and I wasn’t about to tell THEM the truth either. so i. so i- so. i um. i uhhhhhh. hhhhhh. i confess. the worst lie i’ve ever told. went something like

so the thing is I’m actually in a long distance relationship with someone, which is why I can’t date this guy and am not interested. we met in new zealand though! he’s in america now. it’s SUCH a weird story. we met in [insert place two towns over] and started dating and it was all going really well when his parents found out. they weren’t happy with us dating so they decided to move away so he couldn’t date me anymore. they moved ALL the way to the US just because they disapproved! we still keep in touch through messaging apps and that though. so. then my friends took me to maccas after school asking more questions and what he looked like. so I showed them his insta profile and explained a bit about him. that part wasn’t a lie but geez, THEY MOVED ALL THE WAY TO AMERICA FROM NZ BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T APPROVE? WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT ASS LIE IS THAT. THAT IS THE WORST THING I’VE EVER COME UP WITH. I THINK I GAINED MY ABILITY TO LIE SOMEWHAT WELL AFTER THAT BECAUSE IT TRULY COULD NOT GET WORSE. anyway. that’s something i never want to reflect on EVER again. thank god i’m only exposing myself to all of tumblr. i was like 14 or 15 there is no excuse for a lie that god awful at that age. and yet. ANYWAY.

I came out to my entire english class in year 13 as part of a speech assessment just cause it seemed to fit the speech topic at the time and i was like fuck it. last year here. let’s do it. and my parents still didn’t find out. despite reading the speech. it was a coming out comment that clearly just went over their heads. they still don’t know. everyone else does. it’s wild. I feel you though. I’m so comfortable saying I’m bi or I’m gay or I’m queer or anything of the sort with people I know are chill but the ace side of things? it’s just trickier for me, at least. the first time I mentioned asexuality was to my Dad when he asked me to explain what the acronym LGBTQIA+ meant after seeing it on the news or something. So I went through each and explained them carefully so he understood. And I got to asexuality and I started explaining and he was like oh but that one’s a choice though with a very final sounding voice. And I didn’t really know my sexuality exactly at the time but I was questioning if I was ace and I was like ! neat ! i’m never telling anyone now ! i’m sure he didn’t really mean harm or anything and if i genuinely sat down now he’d listen but it was enough to keep that part of my identity more private. still i met a bunch of ace people at uni by accident in one class. it was rad. english attracts queer people i swear.

Time of Your Life

Pairing: Harry Holland x Protagonist (brief, planned), Tom Holland x Protagonist (main, planned)

Synopsis: Jacob Batalon’s youngest cousin (Protagonist) is now – as of August – 18 years old. At the nearly-ripe age of 17, she accompanied her cousin to the Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere where she grows acquainted with the younger crowd of the star-studded cast and – most importantly – piques the interest of two Holland boys, Harry (who’s the same age) and Tom (who’s three years her senior).

Author’s Note: I wanted to use this chapter to develop the personality of the protagonists’ friends, who I believe are going to be crucial in later parts of this fic. Harry makes somewhat of an appearance here, too, so you’ll get a little bit of how they get familiar with each other.

Part I // Part II:  Notifications In which the protagonist’s cousin, Jacob Batalon, lets the world – but more importantly, her friends – know she’s accompanying him to premiere, and Harry Holland lurks on her Instagram profile.

Victoria: “BITCH WHAT THE FUCK YOU DIDN’T TELL ME YOU WERE FLAKING PROM FOR A MOVIE PREMIERE WHAT THE FUCK THAT’S SO COOL” Sent at 5:03. 

My phone’s alarm went off at 6:00. I swiped the message bubble to the left and saw that Victoria, one of my closest friends, had messaged me around an hour after I had knocked out. I’d lulled myself to sleep listening to “Malibu” by Miley Cyrus last night after stressing over plane tickets and everything for the premiere. I basically had two hours of shut-eye to run on. Instead of replying, I reverted to my inbox and saw an overview of other messages:

Sam: “MAJA YOU’RE RELATED TO JACOB BATALON WHAT” “OMG BRING ME SOMETHING FROM THE PREMIERE PLEASE” “MAJA MAJAM JDJKSJDLKAJSKLDJLAJDLKJSLA” Sent at 5:15.

Carlos: “MAJA I’M YOUR BEST FRIEND CAN YOU ASK SPIDER-MAN TO SAY HI TO ME WHEN YOU MEET HIM?” Sent at 5:00.

Imani: “YOU KNOW I’M REALLY PISSED AT YOUR DUMB ASS FOR FUCKING DITCHING PROM BECAUSE I PLANNED THE WHOLE THING AND YOU’RE MY BEST FRIEND BASICALLY BUT FAM HOW THE FUCK DID YOU NOT TELL ANYONE YOU WERE GOING TO THE SPIDERMAN PREMIERE THE FUCKKKKKKKK” Sent at 5:30

My heart raced as I swiped down and my iPhone revealed an overload of notifications, which were condensed into a few banners. I clicked the home button and saw about a hundred notifications on Twitter and more than two times more on Instagram. I deduced that the attention stemmed from an Instagram post, so I opened the app.

The earliest notification was from Jacob – he’d gained almost 200,000 followers ever since he brought Ned Leeds to life, and people were liking all his posts now. He’d tagged me in his most recent post – a picture of us when he visited my branch of the family in San Diego during one of the earlier Comic Cons, circa 2002.

“My cousin’s like my little sister. Been with me since the beginning. From Comic Con to Comic Con, and now the Spider-Man Premiere.” He added the shaka and smirk emoji and I giggled a little at first. Then my stomach pitted. My Instagram was public and I only had a few posts (pictures of me at the beach, at school during lunch, sometimes some sports pics), and most notably I had a pride of eighty-nine followers. Now my follower count had increased to a thousand, with a bunch of Spider-Man themed accounts commenting praises on my pictures.

I hastily cleared out all my notifications on all social media outlets and glanced at the clock next to me. It read 6:20. I had 0 period at 6:30, but it wasn’t mandatory, so I sank back into my sheets and calculated how much time I had to dillydally online. School started at 7:15, so I figured I’d have ten more minutes to just think about what I’d say to my friends, who were probably already on their way to 0 period ASB, student government.

“You guys never listen to me, that’s why you didn’t know I was related to him. And I didn’t really know he was dragging me to LA.” Nah, too condemning.

“Uhhhh, I didn’t think it would be that big a deal…” That’s too dismissive.

There was just no safe answer for me to draft out before I’d get to school, so I felt like I’d roll with the punches once they were thrown. What was of even greater importance was my outfit, which I had to contemplate this time around because people were going to talk about me. I wanted people to think that all this noise wasn’t a big deal, so I threw on an off-the-shoulder shirt with some flare-cut Levi’s and some jandals. I already prepared my backpack the night before, so I knew I was going to make it to school in time even if I’d stop by 7-11 to grab a taquito and Slurpee for breakfast.

“Bitch there you are!” Victoria greeted me as first period started. I was unofficially assigned the seat right next to the door, so I came in last to detract any attention.

“You know, ‘bitch’ is a really derogatory term,” I plopped down in my seat and opened my backpack, retrieving the thickest Lit textbook known to man.

“Oh my god, Maja shut up! You know what we’re gonna be talking about today,” Vicky, Sam, Imani, Carlos and I were the odd group that sat in the corner, a bunch of “intellectuals” as our teacher would say, so “jaded” with the curriculum that we typically took group time to gossip.

“So, dude, spill the beans” Sam demanded, once we were released to do our work.

“First,” I asked, “What we’re y’all thinking about equivocation in Macbeth? I’m thinking it has to do with the trees and shit moving, right?”

“Maja, shut up you’re going to get a 5 on the AP exam so can we just cut to the shit that really matters?” Carlos scooted next to me to perfect the quintet. “You’re hot shit now!”

My cheeks flushed as I looked around the room. In that moment, I realized that what all my friends considered true was a lie. People weren’t looking at me. Jake was across the room with Adam and Joey and their other friend, Ryan, asking another group for some help with all the critical reading assignments. No one really gave a shit, no one even knew… well, except for my friends, my weird friends.

Imani noticed a change in my pace from an evasive kind of jitteriness to a dreary sort of dawdling. They asked me what was wrong in a way that got everyone else to shut up. “Nothing,” I said. Obviously I was kidding everyone; I wanted people to notice me for once – maybe be jealous – especially Jake.

“There has to be something wrong—” Sam was about to go on a standard consolatory spiel that friends usually go on when you’re not fully open with them, but my phone vibrated.

“Oh my god who’s Harry Holland?” Sam asked. It wasn’t about caring for me anymore, it was about the boy with a familiar name.

“Is he related to Tom?!” Carlos burst my bubble of personal space and rested his chin on my shoulder as he looked at my screen from next to me.

“U-uhhhhhh, let’s see?” the Instagram banner read “harryholland64 started following you,” so I went straight to his profile.

“Followed by tomholland2013…” Carlos read.

“He’s got the shaka thing….followed by lifeisaloha…” Imani observed.

“HE HAS PICTURES WITH TOM,” Victoria knocked on her desk a bit louder than what was appropriate. Mr. Rosenblatt, our teacher, averted his eyes from his desktop to us.

“Ms. Maja,” Mr. Rosenblatt said in an orotund voice, “Surely you, Ms. Victoria and the rest of your court are way beyond Shakespeare, but others aren’t. You can engage in chatter but please be respectful.”

Victoria’s mouth was agape in both embarrassment and eagerness. We had no idea who Harry Holland was, other than the fact that he was related to Tom and knew my cousin.

Sam refreshed the screen on my notifications page for me and noticed that the “follow” alert was no longer there. “Dude, where’d it go?” she asked, in a curiously hushed tone.

Carlos took my phone and I was unbothered. They were all more eager about this than I was; my stomach was doing flips. It was too good to be true.

“Dude, he unfollowed you, I searched for your name under his following list and it’s not there anymore,” Carlos handed my phone back to my trembling hands. The fairytale had ended.

“Dude, dude,” Victoria took her long pointer finger with its witch-like, purple-coated nail and tapped on my desk for emphasis, like she typically did when she wanted to be the conclusive one. “Unfollow him too. That way it’s not awkward when you meet at the premiere. You guys can just pretend this shit never happened.”

“Nothing even happened,” I retorted.

Imani, with all her infinite wisdom, robbed Victoria of her moment. She let out a grunt of disbelief, as if I was unbearably naïve. “Fam, he was lurking. He follows Jacob and obviously saw the post.”

“He probably got curious and clicked on your tag,” Sam added.

“Yeah dude and he probably thought you were hot,” as much as I wanted to seriously believe in Victoria’s comment, I shook my head.  

“Maja, I think Vicky’s onto something. It may seem outlandish but I’m a dude and if I saw that one of you guys knew someone hot, I’d lurk and follow if I had stable mutuals, too,” this was a surprising revelation from Carlos, who usually provided barely any male insight. He was a listener for the most part, not particularly loquacious. But when he spoke he never gave penny advice, but wisdom worth a few grand.

“This bitch knows his shit,” Victoria nodded, while pursing her lips and sealing her beautifully foul mouth. “I do, too.”

If you could have any kind of animal as a pet, what would you have? A RACCOON!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM SOSOSOSOSOS MUCH and some people actually do have them as pets! They can be difficult though but WORTH IT

Who was your favorite teacher and why were they your favorite? OH BOY......I’m gonna say it’s a tie between my AP studio art teacher and my AP US government teacher from this past year, my senior year! My AP art teacher because our class was super tiny, 12 kids, and it really felt like a family?? She was a-okay with letting us all goof around and say weird shit, she was really chill and funny and like. part teacher, part friend, which was always nice. As for my AP gov teacher, he was SO. FUCKING. FUNNY. OH MAN. NOT EVEN ON PURPOSE he just like? put up with SO MUCH? we had some real character kids in that class and my teacher’s reactions were HILARIOUS. he had a sarcastic streak too so his responses were equally as funny when someone did something weird. He would say the funniest stuff just ask @/harpxer I would tell her so many stories from that class sohboshrb. Aside from the humor that class was really interesting, and he’s a really good, invested teacher - he wanted us to learn, he’s super passionate about government and history, and he always started off each class with 2 current events which was really nice and helped me learn more about things happening in the world too!!! overall that was like my fav non-art class I’ve ever taken!!!!

What’s your guilty pleasure (and I’m challenging you not to say some kind of food)? HMMMMM. Honestly I’m gonna go ahead and say really cheesy or lame movies/shows (like, Disney channel movies, dumb shows - like the one summer I watched all of Glee LOL, stuff like that). Like yeah I know 90% of it is terRIBLE but it’s still amusing/lighthearted stuff that makes me happy KLSDJVLSDHB

What’s the last thing you bought (that wasn’t food)? I’ve actually been buying a lot the past few weeks in prep for college/spending a little money for ONCE since I worked all summer. I got a bunch of boring stuff but the things I’m most excited about are: two posters I got for my dorm (The Office is one and one is Lord Huron), a giant wall tapestry (it’s Up themed!!!), tWO BNHA/POKEMON CHARMS THAT CAME TODAY AND EVERY TIME I LOOK AT THEM I START CRYING BC THEYRE SO CUTE, and oh my GOD I BOUGHT THIS GIANT PILLOW FROM TARGET AND IT IS THE SINGLE SOFTEST THING I’VE EVER FELT AND IT’S HUGE AND IT IMMEDIATELY BECAME MY #1 COMFORT OBJECT AND TOP FIVE FAV THINGS IVE EVER BOUGHT!!!!!! I guess MOST recently though I just bought Clip Studio Paint online today (art program) since it’s on sale for 50% off and I’ve heard great things about it!

......I watch so many things ahhhhhh depends on what you like I guess but kdrama wise my favs are It’s Okay It’s Love, Scholar Who Walks The Night and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bokjoo and I love Crime Scene atm where Minseok was a guest for three episodes
