this is such an ordeal for hatanaka, this situation is so convoluted in general, ibara's proposal to high school hatanaka comes from whatever happened 100 years ago that happened between her and 26 year old hatanaka, but 26 year old hatanaka, who has experienced ibara's proposal but not yet what he'll do to make her say that, who went through the whole "he'll die way before her" crisis and thought he's come to terms with it has to face it again, this time with the possibility that ibara has a potential partner that won't hurt her like that. i live for this stuff

idk if kurahashi is actually related to seimei by blood, i just added that note abt the kurahashi name bc i just learned about it from jp yohaji twitter haha. but there is some connection there.......
