dha kar'ta "crispy has lost control of their life again" celebration sneak peek
am planning on starting up a wip wednesday sort of thing (maybe next week?), which will definitely be more than star wars related stuff, but i've also just exceeded a thousand hours on skyrim in less than a year and wanted to celebrate(?) (i actually hit a thousand a few days ago, but in true fixation fashion, kept playing instead of posting anything over here lmao) so here's a dha kar'ta wip 'cause jango is fighting me a little bit but new chapter soon!! i promise!!
“As soon as Satine is unseated, the Mandalore System’s full neutrality nullifies, unless Jango chooses to reinstate it.”
“And he’d rather die than do that,” Bosoloc pipes up helpfully.
“Yes, and at that point, Mandalore can choose to pursue rejoining the Republic for the first time since the Kyr’am Turr’e, because New Mandalore never officially seceded to the Senate.”
“Which Jang’alor would also rather die than do.”
Obi-Wan acknowledges Ezovac with a nod. “The politics of sovereign states that exist within sectors technically under control of the Republic are a disaster at best, and almost no one in the Senate is willing to deal with it long enough for a planet to get the flimsiwork through.” Melidaan is a Republic planet now, but the Young didn’t always intend it to be, and Nield couldn’t read, so Obi-Wan had done a lot of that research between battles; and being on the run from Death Watch actually afforded a considerable amount of downtime during his year on Mandalore, and, well. A big part of that Obi-Wan had thought it was all information he’d need to know if Satine asked him to stay, and Obi-Wan still hasn’t quite learned how to let someone love him unless he can be useful to them.
Actually, it’s rather convenient that he had done all this research for Mandalore specifically, if thirteen years too early — perhaps the Force was simply preparing him for this Mandalore, not Satine’s.
Across the mess table, Kal groans loudly and slumps his head down. “Fine, I’ll bite, kih’Alor: what’s any of that got to do with Duchess Demagolka?”
“Theoretically,” Obi-Wan sighs again, pushing a grumbling Dha further into his mind so he can concentrate, “Mandalore does not actually have to declare itself as anything; there are plenty of planets in the outer rim that have sovereignty without officialising it with the Republic.”
  “But...?”
“But, thanks to Satine, Mandalore is embroiled in Senate politics nine ways to Corellian Hells, and it’ll be even worse if she makes any headway with the beskar mines while we’re off fighting Vizsla. We simply can’t withdraw from those politics, not when Mandalore’s history is so entwined with the Republic’s, not unless we want to go full isolationist from the rest of the galaxy.” He glances at his other table-/councilmates, and is relieved to see they seem to be keeping up, if looking a bit exhausted by it; Obi-Wan shares the sentiment.
Luckily, the mess is empty now with everyone returning to their increased post-battle duties, or Obi-Wan is sure they’d have had quite a few more complaints about the impromptu government lesson happening in the middle of the tent.
Kal rubs his eyes, shaking himself before turning back to Obi-Wan, his frown as deep as ever, but at least he still seems willing to listen.
“So, we can’t just go after the Senate’s pet Mandalorian without burning those bridges, unless we have proof she’s in league with a terrorist?”
“Precisely. And technically, with Mandalore as a sovereign state, the Senate can’t do anything about the change in power, unless they plan to go to war with every Mandalorian in the galaxy, but proving she made the first move will give us significantly more support for instating Jango instead.”
“I feel like my brains are coming out my ears,” Bosoloc whispers woodenly, staring down at the remains of the protein gruel on her tray.
“You don’t have ears,” Myles reminds her, chin in his hand, and she kicks him under the table.
“What I want to know,” Mij speaks for the first time, easily dodging one of Myles’ flailing arms, “is how you even know about the Kyr’am Turr’e, Obi-Wan.”
Bosoloc turns away from tormenting Myles to add, “Yes, I was going to ask about that, because I have no idea what the Death Days are.”

Hello I have read some of your works and would like to ask you, if you could write more about Rei Mikazuchi❤️❤️❤️. I think you are the only one that I have seen write about him🥲 Could you please write a SFW story, but please make it a happy ending.🥰
I know right!? Rei gets no love in the community, my boi is cute, hot, and sexy!! What more could we want in a character, aside from characterization.
Also, I'm so sorry, I feel like this has a hint of angst, but the ending wasn't Angst, and the story isn't exactly happy and fluffy, I feel like I failed but writing SFW for Rei is lowkey kind of hard, but I'll just keep trying with him until it finally happens!! When I do it, I'll tag you in it!! Because you deserve it!!

Love is what You Make It Rei Mikazuchi
Living is already hard, having to pay bills, and making sure you have enough for groceries, hygienic products, household products, and even a little treat for yourself, but like they always say " life is what you make it" , just like home. Living in your own place can be rough at times, having nosy neighbors that could be rude on top of it, a stingy landlord, DHA on your ass for the smallest of reports, bugs, piping, cracks, not enough space, or too much space, but home is what you make it.
If that's the case, then couldn't that go for love too? You choose who you love, but you can't choose 'what' you love. For example, you fall in love with a lair, but you'll never know that they're a liar until you're in too deep. That goes for thieves, killers, rapists, racists, sexists, homophobes, pedophiles, stalkers, and abusers, it applies to all of them. You can't just back out and say 'Let's break up, I never want to see you again.' after spending 5 years with a person, even 1 year is more than enough time to develop a bond that's almost inseparable.
Humans are social animals, we thrive in social activities, even those who say they don't still do. Watching TV is a form of social interaction, you're learning characters, developing feelings for the ones you like most or despise, and researching their real age and where they come from. Even just reading this now, is a form of social interaction. Another human wrote this, and you're deep into the stories that have been written on this blog, you may have even followed and are extremely pleased that there is another writer who writes for this fandom. Social interactions are everywhere you look. In a book, on TV, in your phone, or even in a picture.
It's hard to pull back, especially when you had learned that Rei was an assassin. You were angry, you felt betrayed, you felt underestimated in your loyalty. It was like he didn't trust you enough, but you were in too deep to tell him to 'never see me again.' You've met Rei for Rei. You've seen him laugh, you've seen him cry, sleep, eat, vulnerable, strong, and funny. You've seen him at his highest and at his lowest, so why didn't he trust you enough to let you know?... Fear, he was afraid that you'd reject him, call him a monster and a killer, which you wouldn't be wrong, but can a monster love like he does? Can a monster cry like he does? You'd think not.
You love Rei for Rei, and he loved you for you, you made a deal with him, that he can continue his job unless it's just evil people that he killed, but he couldn't agree to that, simply because evil people just don't exist in his eyes. "Everyone has a different point of view on life, you'd either die and let a starving child eat your last meal, you'd eat the meal and leave the child to starve, or you'd eat the child and save the food for later, there's no in-between. However. there is a fourth option, sharing the food, but one of you will still end up in the other's stomach in the end. Either way, you look at it, it's either evil or good. Or take this, you're about to be murdered, will you let the killer kill you? Or will you kill the killer? Either way, someone is dead, and there will still be a mother weeping over their dead child." That was Rei's point of view.
So, you decided that he'd stop killing instead, you wanted to argue with his logic, but no matter how you looked at it, it was the truth. He was so blunt about it, just like how blunt he is for his love for you. He wants you to be blunt, so you will, and you want him to stay. Knowing that he has spilled blood on his hands, knowing that he's destroyed families, you still wanted him... Suddenly his logic on life was staring you in the face. Cuddling up with Rei, holding him tight at night when he'd have nightmares, having breakfast with him, lunch, dinner, laughter, and dates... It was a part of Rei, it was a part of you.
It was what you guys did, it was all you guys could do because it was a strange romance, but whoever said that there was a guidebook to romance? It was what you make it, and honestly, you guys were doing a damn good job at it too.

Hey I've been really dysphoric lately could I request a ftm Trans Rin drabble about Rin coming out and Bon being very supportive of his boyfriend. Thank you
giving you the biggest internet hug I possibly can. I'm so sorry about the dysphoria. You are incredible, even if you don't always feel like it.
Also, sorry, it got a little long...
Pairing: BonRin
------
It started because Ryuuji was combing his hair.
Well, it really started earlier than that. It started when Rin had looked over his shoulder and seen the surly boy scowling at the front of the class like Rin’s inattentiveness had been a personal insult to him. His silly heart had given a really hard thump, and he’d promptly fallen hard.
It started because Rin jumped in front of the reaper hell-bent on devouring Ryuuji before Rin could make him aware they were going to be boyfriends. It started when he’d turned and glared down at the boy and saw incredible brown eyes staring right back up at him.
He’d felt strangely seen in that moment. Almost enough to let his tail wag.
Instead he’d crossed his arms over a chest that didn’t feel like his and glared to the right.
It solidified when Ryuuji stared up at him with that smirk (god, that smirk made Rin dizzy, almost too dizzy to focus on the fight which was bad because that would mean they’d probably die before he could actually ask Ryuuji out)
Rin felt right under Ryuuji’s gaze. With Ryuuji’s laugh echoing in his ear, Rin felt like he could do anything. Like he could be anything.
It made him spin around, too - long hair flying in his face, and bare his teeth at the Impure King as he finally drew his sword. As his features shifted into the demonic form, he almost felt like it was who he was meant to be.
He hadn’t gotten the chance to ask Ryuuji before Ryuuji was pulling him aside in one of the many rooms of the Myoa Dha’s headquarters and asking in the most endearingly bashful way if Rin would maybe like to go to the bamboo garden after Kyoto Tower.
Rin had said (squealed) an exuberant yes and spent the rest of the day holding Ryuuji’s hand and trying to stop his tail from wagging wildly.
He’d almost asked for a picture, but he’d caught a glimpse of himself in the reflection of Kyoto Tower and he just… couldn’t.
Not when the reflection didn’t show who he was. Not when nobody knew. Not when it was a stranger staring back at himself and holding Ryuuji’s hand. He didn’t know the girl looking at him, he could see traces of who he was meant to be, but…
His eyes darted to Ryuuji who was staring at him with a soft smile. He returned it as well as he could and tried to ignore who was staring back at him.
He asked Ryuuji out on the next date, and the date after that Ryuuji asked him.
He stopped keeping track after the fifth date.
It had been a few months, and Rin was now watching as Ryuuji picked out his earrings for their date. He was seated on his boyfriend’s bed and fiddling with his jeans.
“You okay? Seem kinda tense, babe.”
His stomach clenched uncomfortably as he lifted his gaze to meet Ryuuji’s. He could see the edge of himself in the mirror, and he shifted uncomfortably away from it.
Ryuuji, ever watchful, noticed the movement. He set his earring, the twisty one that always made him blush when he was putting it, down and stepped towards Rin.
“Hey,” he sat next to him and took Rin’s hand, “what is it, Rin? You know you can tell me?”
But how did you tell something like this? Everyone always said it was the best thing to do. That it was the brave thing to do. That you had to live your truth and be who you were, but they never said how. They never mentioned the terror that who you were would be rejected.
Ryuuji made him feel more himself than he’d ever felt before. He didn’t want to lose that. He didn’t want to lose Ryuuji, but…
He was lying to him every single day. Ryuuji thought he was dating Rin Okumura, daughter of Satan and resident goof. He didn’t know that wasn’t who Rin was. Well, he was a few of those things, but he was someone so different than that. Than this long hair and the stupid uniform they made him wear.
Ryuuij’s hand went to his hair and softly combed through his locks. It was meant to be soothing and it just made Rin’s eyes well up. He clutched Ryuuji’s hand in his own, and the words started to pour out.
“I— this isn’t who I am.”
Ryuuji stopped combing through his hair, wrapping an arm around his shoulder instead to coax him closer.
The words kept coming. He stuttered out that he wasn’t what he looked like. That he was a guy, and he’d known it about himself for years, but he’d never been able to tell anyone. He soaked Ryuuji’s soft shirt with his tears, and he still felt like none of it made any sense, and it wasn’t enough. He cried until his eyes burned, and he started to hiccup against Ryuuji’s strong chest.
Ryuuji didn’t say anything for a moment longer. Long enough that Rin began to try and figure out if it would be quicker to flee by the window or the door.
“I— and I’m so sorry if I misunderstood, you’re trans?”
He… he didn’t sound angry, or disgusted. His voice was soft, inquisitive. Rin swallowed. He’d never heard anyone say that to him. “Yes. I… I’m trans.”
It was the first time he’d said it to someone. Saying it solidified something in his gut. It had him sit up a little. It had him shoving his hair out of his face and swallowing again.
Ryuuji’s hand moved back to brush his hair back. “Hey,” Ryuuji hugged him close, “I’m proud of you, Rin. I know… I can’t imagine that’s an easy thing to tell. Hell, I remember how terrified I was to come out to my parents, and they’ve always been open-minded.” He pressed a kiss to Rin’s hair, brushing away a few of his tears before brushing his hair back again. “Thank you for trusting me this much.”
Another sob broke from Rin’s lips as he flung himself at Ryuuji. His boyfriend wrapped him up in a fierce hug, holding him tightly enough that he felt anchored, that he felt secure.
“You’re the bravest person I know,” Ryuuji whispered against him with a gruff voice that sounded a little tight, almost like Ryuuji was fighting off tears, “you’re handsome, and strong, and kind. I know… I can’t imagine it’s easy, but I’ll help in any way you need.” He kissed the side of Rin’s head, pushing through his hair and catching the edge of his ear. “I love you.”
Rin hiccuped again and blurted the words back. They’d always felt a little heavy on his tongue, they’d felt a little like a lie. He loved Ryuuji, he mildly suspected he always had, but he was scared that if Ryuuji knew who he really was…
He should have known better. Ryuuji never shied away from what he loved. He fought for it, even if he got annoyed with them.
Curling his head under Ryuuji’s chin, he hugged his boyfriend and tried to get his breathing even again. The position made his hair once again fall in his eyes, and he shoved it away with a scowl. He should have brought Ryuuji’s clip.
“You okay?” Ryuuji tucked the annoying strands behind his ear, gently tracing the outer shell before dropping his hand to Rin’s hip.
“I hate it.” Ryuuji made an inquisitive noise and rubbed a soothing circle into his back. “My hair,” he explained with a sigh, “I tried to cut it in middle school… I… well, I didn’t want to ask the old man? He’d, uh, he’d ask why I wanted it cut—” Rin wondered what all Shirou had known. He… well, it seemed like he’d known. He’d just waited for Rin to tell.
He pushed those thoughts away. That was for a different time. This was about Ryuuji, and him.
“Anyway. I did it myself. I…” he laughed, “well, turns out it’s kinda hard to do by yourself.”
“Wait, you want short hair?”
Rin’s insides knotted themselves right back up. God, he’d gotten too hopeful too quick. He should have known. He was Satan’s son. Good things didn’t —
“I cut our hair. Uh, Konekomaru, Shima’s, and my own. I dye it too, if you’re interested in that? I can style it for you? You’d look handsome with short hair. It’d show off those killer cheekbones you got too.” He made an appreciative noise and kissed Rin on his nose. “Very hot.”
Rin blinked in shock. “What?”
Ryuuji blushed and dropped a hand to the blanket beside them. “I just… I mean, if it’s something you’d like, I could try? Nothing too wild. You don’t have to do the, uh—”
A grin tugged Rin’s lips up as something warm started to unfurl in his chest. “The rooster you got?”
Ryuuji rolled his eyes. “It’s cool.”
Rin’s smile grew. “Yep.” He cupped Ryuuji’s cheek, enjoying the slight scrape of facial hair against his palm as he pulled him into a kiss.
Ryuuji was breathless when he pulled away.
“Was,” his cheeks were pink as he spoke and the warm thing in Rin’s chest went hot, “that, um,” he blinked and seemed to force himself to pull himself together, “okay? Me. Cutting your hair? You can say no and I won’t get upset.”
Rin ducked his head, ignoring the way it made his hair fall again. “I’d like that.”
Ryuuji squeezed him close in a hug, kissed his warm cheek, and went to the dresser. “Tell me whatcha want. Got any pictures? I’ll do whatever you want.”
Rin pulled his phone out with trembling fingers and tried to swallow some of the excitement back as he pulled up the photo. It was the one he’d tried to do in middle school that had failed. He turned the phone towards Ryuuji and got a determined nod in return.
“Turn around, handsome.”
Rin followed Ryuuji’s guiding hands with a smile that was almost painfully big, and a wildly wagging tail. Ryuuji gently moved it so it was under Rin’s arm, out of the way of the scissors, and pressed a kiss to Rin’s shoulder. “Hang on, Rin. I’ll have ya set in no time.”
The snips of the scissors felt incredibly loud in the otherwise silent room. The locks fell around his shoulders in a halo of dark blue, making a mess on the bed that Ryuuji didn’t seem to care about. With each falling strand, Rin felt himself sitting straighter, felt himself smile a little wider, felt his chest loosen just a little more, until he was breathing easily and the tears streaking down his cheeks didn’t feel like pain.
They felt like freedom.
“Well look at that,” Ryuuji hummed, smiling as he turned Rin around and pulled out a small mirror from his dresser, “my boyfriend is one handsome fellow.”
The boy smiling back at Rin looked ecstatic. His hair was still falling in his eyes, but this time? This time that boy smiling back at him looked like him.
Rin squashed the mirror between them when he flung himself at Ryuuji and crushed him in a tight hug.
In Ryuuji’s arms, in this moment, he felt like he could truly be himself.

haat’miit be beskar’gam
in she said the word, the lovely @the-obiwan-for-me came up with the idea of a ancient prayer people would say (although by this point in history very few did) as they put on the armour - the haat’miit be beskar’gam. beskar’gam has a almost holy aspect to it, and some clans would definitely hold it to that status. she kindly let me write it, and i tried to reflect that through the words. it’s almost a plea to the armour, to help them through the day. it would be said in mando’a, and i tried to translate it as well as possible, although i’m always up for suggestions to make it flow better. i decided against having a rhythm, as unlike dha werda verda, i feel like this is a very personal thing. it’s not something you’d say in public, it’s something sacred you’d say by yourself or with your immediate family - a personal prayer, a personal plea
MANDO’A
vercopa beskar’kemiri’irude cabuori ner kemiri’irude bid kemiri mand’alor haat
vercopa beskar’haalas cabuori ner kar’ta bid nariri kotep
vercopa beskar’irude cabouri ner gaane bid cabuori ner alit
vercopa beskar’irud’laame cabuori ner irud’laame bid atiniiri kando ti ijaat
vercopa buy’ce cabuori ner kovid bid nariri mirdala
vercopa ka’ra dinuir ni kot akaaniri ijaat akay yaim’ol manda
BASIC
may these greaves protect my legs so i may walk the path of the mand’alor
may this chest plate protect my heart so i may act in bravery
may these vambraces protect my hands so i may protect my clan
may these pauldrons protect my shoulders so i may bear my burdens with dignity
may this helmet protect my mind so i may act in wisdom
may the ka’ra grant me the strength to fight with honour until i return to manda
this was a really fun challenge, and i am so honoured i was allowed to take on this challenge! if you want to see how i constructed this, just press keep reading :)
to start with, i asked the-obiwan-for-me what she thought would be said. she had thought of something like “may this helmet protect my mind so i may act in wisdom” and “may this chest plate protect my heart so i may act in bravery”. i had ideas along the same lines, but i loved the wording of this, making it more of a request than a statement. so that was the basic structure and ideas sorted.
i expanded on these ideas, thinking about what each part of the armour could symbolise. i simplified the armour on the legs though, as there is a lot of complicated names, and there is only much you can say about them! i came up with a finalising statement - the ka’ra are stars, but in mandalorian legend they are fallen kings. leaders join them whence they die. i enjoy her idea of praying to the ancestors, so i included this to show they’re praying to warriors and leaders marching far away to lead them the right way, so they can join the manda (i don’t think i can mix ka’ra and manda, as as far as i can tell they’re from different eras of beliefs, but oh well!)
translating to mando’a was difficult. if you manually translate it back to english, it reads similarly but is more clunky. however, it still sounds pretty and lyrical, and it still works in mando’a. in mando’a, as long as you can understand what the person is saying, it’s fine if it’s clunky and not the best. so, i definitely got an easy escape there with some of my translations which were a bit of a reach!
i did reach a difficult point with the body parts armour. you have beskar’gam (armour) and you have buy’ce (helmet) in terms of armour. you have irud (arm), kovid (head), gaan (hand), haalas (chest) and kar’ta (heart) in terms of body parts. you don’t words for specific parts of your body or armour really. this is where i had to get creative. if i could define body parts, i could make up words for armour
firstly, i tackled legs. well, legs are arms you can walk on. so i squished together walking and arms -  kemiri’irude. next, shoulders. they’re just parts that are up at the top of your arms - so they’re up arms, which is irud’laame. converting to armour was simple - i just added beskar to the start! after all, beskar’gam is literally steel skin!
i did worry over the armour - mandalorians say things the simplest way possible, and the armour was wordy. however, this is a ritual. you wouldn’t have to simplify for this. however, you’d probably simplify them down if you were having an actual conversation.

A little bit good deal of character analysis in regards to Saburota Todou in the Kyoto arc. This is for my own benefit bc I’m writing smth involving him...
Skipping over the 1st appearance in ch16 because it didn’t really have what I was looking for. Instead I’m skipping straight over to ch25 where Tatsuma shows up and they fight.
This got. Very Long And Very Rambly. So uh, yeah.
tw for canon typical violence and gore
So - Todou already has considerable enhanced physical abilities and regeneration before Karura. Granted, not as strong, but still there.
Tumblr media
(man i wish i could do backflips like that when im 56 lmao)
He’s been planning this whole fiasco for over 10 years now (Myou Dha joined the order 10 years ago, and that’s when he first started on manipulating Mamushi)... I wonder how long he’s been eating demons and stuff? How did that even start? How many has he gone through over time? Things to ponder...
Anyways, my biggest question here is... what the fuck is up with his pain tolerance?
Tumblr media
He’s straight up getting barbecued and all he has to say is, “I can’t heal fast enough!“ He doesn’t even look a little distraught. Just mildly inconvenienced by the whole thing. (Also - what kind of knife is that? The shape & handle is really funky :O)
Tumblr media
I think he was originally intending to like. Eat Karura as soon as it showed up but he had Impure King as a last resort in case he couldn’t overpower Tatsuma (as was the case). The guy really did all his research and had a lot of back ups planned huh.
...I also want to know just how he managed to find out all the stuff regarding the Impure King. How exactly did he know that it hadn’t been destroyed completely? How did he know about Kurikara being empty? And the deal between Karura and the Head Priests?
Tumblr media
Sir please cite your sources I’m so curious...
Back on track though! Stuff happens, Tatsuma gets it in the neck with the weird knife, Todou’s all healed up from those nasty burns again and it’s all dandy.
And then we get straight up fire eating.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again... that should hurt, no? That’s mouth, throat, oesophagus and probably tracheal burns. And Todou just... doesn’t care. He’s still as calm and collected as before, no indication of discomfort. Personally? I’m unnerved by this lol.
Tumblr media
The closest we get to discomfort is this when he groans a lil bit after he’s done eating but I think that’s more the stomach upset. From this point on I guess we assume he doesn’t feel pain from fire... but I’m still squinting at everything before this...
Tumblr media
Adding this purely because I love these panels. This guy is so messed up. So very very messed up lol.
[Skip forward everything Im not interested in right now]
Tumblr media
Someone is having a bit of a bellyache. This is why we don’t eat things while they’re still alive, sir!
But upset stomach or not, he’s still??
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Yeah it’s fine - hello yukio how have you been? - yes, I’m ready to throw hands with you; pain who?“
also... he may be a Huge bastard but I absolutely love how!! Polite he is!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Thanks for cooperating ^w^“ <- Todou after cutting off Yukio’s escape route with a wall of flame. lol. However he got evasive when Yukio asked: “What the hell are you?“
He seems to happily give out tidbits of non-vital information, but he obviously knows when to keep his mouth shut (10+ years spying on True cross and no one knew? This guy is very clever! Very tricky! Many secrets!)
Tumblr media
I’m sorry this whole thing is so funny... Small, polite talk during fighting is exactly the kind of unhinged I expected from him and he did not disappoint in the slightest. Bless. (I mean he does admit that he’s only doing it to rile Yukio up a few pages later... but still... This man knows just how to get under people’s skin and is so very good at it...)
Also I love how this fight reveals so much about his character so subtly?? I honestly just rec ch28 for p much most anyone would need to get a feel of him as a character.
He’s got this new body and these new powers and the first thing he does is fight a teenager for shits and giggles. Except both the teenager and the younger body keep reminding him of his own youth.
Tumblr media
Lower right panel... his face says they’re not happy memories. (In my very biased opinion I would call that expression a mix of “oh whoopsie” and “these memories literally make me want to die”) (And oh Boy does it go well with ch106 pages 23-26 where we actually see how the Todou brothers interacted with each other and that is So Much To Unpack i dont even know where to start lol)
And then right after remarking that family is a sore spot for Yukio, he immediately goes “lmao me too I get it“ ( it’s actually ”Heh heh heh! I feel such a connection between us! Asleep or awake, you’re always hung up on your family! I understand. I used to be the same way.“)
And then finally I reach the part that originally made me want to re-read his scenes in the Kyoto arc...
Tumblr media
Todou literally getting his brains blown out with water type bullets 😍😍😍 This is literally the only instance of him admitting that something hurt that I could find so far! What the hell! But that’s not all!
Tumblr media
Even then he’s still smiling! He’s still playing around! He got shot through the head, said “oh ouchie“ and immediately shook it off and kept trying rile Yukio up like nothing had happened. Pretty fucked up in my humble opinion, not gonna lie.
Tumblr media
“Ah yes I’ve sustained a horrific facial wound let me just dab at it with a handkerchief for a bit that’ll do it.“
He does underestimate Yukio though, becaue he doesn’t see the naiads coming at all. But even with the whole water prison, it bothers him for a few seconds and he’s back on track. He’s very... I’m not sure if tenacious is the right word, but perhaps diligent? Goal oriented?
Very hard to knock off balance, that’s for sure! And even if you manage to catch him by surprise, he seems to adapt very quickly. He’s just genuinely fighting Yukio to have a good time and doesn’t see him as a serious opponent.
But the chilling bit is that he was going to kill Yukio, just like that. He got a feel for his new abilities, had some fun at the expense of Yukio’s emotional state, reminisced on his past for a bit... and that would have been it, if not for the Satan-eyes.
Anyways this got so much longer than I wanted it to lol and I managed to fry my brain so I’ll leave off here. Maybe I’ll do smth aditional later maybe I wont. But just know that I am screaming about this unhinged bastard like 24/7 ❤
Idk if anyone even got to the end of this but I wanted to put my thoughts down somewhere I could find them later lol. Thanks xoxo

Day 5: Moonlight
Hi all, This is my first attempt at a Castelvania Fic. It was supposed to be a drabble that turned into a  ficlit that is now on its way to being a multichapter story. Anyways I’m hoping that you all like it and I am happy for any feedback. If I do continue the story I will do so with the intent to have Trevacard as the end result. Enjoy. Currently a T rating for language and gore?   ALUCARD:
Alucard was not a stranger to the apparitions that joined him in the dim empty halls of Castle Dracula. They walked with him at night, and came out even during the day. He could banish them if he liked. Often, however, he chose not to. For, even the apparitions of his father and mother, memories or ghosts, were better than the loneliness which grieved him in the absence of Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades. He had rarely taken the time to develop relationships fitting into neither the world of his father nor the world of his mother, though he was more than capable of living in both. The solitude had suited him just fine in his youth when he had his mother and father to spend his days with. As a young adult he had busied himself with the study of art and music, literature and science. While he studied he had spent time among the humans, and among the creatures of the night, but he had never bonded with them.
Belnades and Belmont had been the first to simply accept what he was and move on from it. Of course, he acknowledged, there was a bigger problem to be dealt with at the time, which required them to work together. He would be lying though, if he said he didn’t miss the company of the drunk moron and the chatty speaker. Hence the dolls he had tucked on the shelf of his kitchen. While he remembered his companions he made his way to the top most tower. Even within the walls of the castle he enjoyed the solitude of being removed from the main halls. No one bothered him up here, not the apparition of Dracula, or Lisa, or Sumi, or Taka, Sypha or Trevor. He attempted to avoid the intrusion of feeling and thought that suggested to his tired and hungry mind that he would very much like the companionship of Belmont more than the others.
Absently he gazed at the stars attempting to recall the constellations his mother had once taught him. He had never much cared for astrology and had not continued to study it after his mother's death. He shoved down his hunger and ignored it by looking towards the moon and judging the length of time it had been since his friends departure. Unfortunately his brain couldn’t seem to form the connection. How long had they been gone. Sure he could speak with their dolls and emulate their speech patterns but he had traveled with them long enough to know them the way he knew his sword.
A shadow crossed his face as a cloud shrouded the full moon. His pale skin reflected the moonlight and he was certain if he were an enemies target he would be impossible to hit. Slowly he followed his intuition and looked down across the grounds of the castle.
“Trevor?” He questioned allowed, his voice barely a whisper, breath steam in the cool night air.
TREVOR:
The air around the old castle and Belmont hold was different. Carefully Trevor walked the path towards them with disquiet in his chest. There was a warning prickeling at his ears, the hair on his neck stood up. He stopped and took a deep breath. What was going on? Carefully he made his way around the castle, dodging streams of moonlight and keeping to the shadows. When he reached the front of the castle his heart sank into his gut. “Oh fangs, what the hell have you done?” He breathed.
The corpses stood on pikes, were rotten to the point that all one could tell of them was that they were previously human. Slowly he turned his head and looked up the length of the castle. At the top, alone on the highest balcony, stood Alucard bathed in moonlight. He glowed like a phantom, like any other apparition in the hollow halls. Was the dhamphire looking at him? It seemed so. Slowly the hunter made his way to the doors which opened of their own accord. He stepped inside without hesitation. He came to see his friend, to make sure that he was alright, that the isolation had not driven him mad, and if Trevor was honest with himself, he needed a break from Sypha and her new found enjoyment of the hunt.
What he saw outside concerned him. So he prepared to kill his friend or die trying if the man had fallen to the same place as his father, Dracula, before him. Trevor waited in the main hall. He knew the castle well enough to know that this was the best room to battle the Dha⸺ His friend. “Yo, Fangs. What the hell is that outside?” He called into the darkness. “A warning, Belmont.” “And why do you need a warning?” “It isn’t for me.” “Obviously. Piss off. Who needs the warning?”
“Those who would attempt to kill me Belmont. As I think you are preparing to do.” “You’ve got me there. Shit, What is this Fangs? What the hell happened.”  Trevor said relaxing his hold on The Morning Star and actively choosing to relax. Silence passed between them as Alucard studied him. His expression flat, his eyes emotionless, empty, hollow, his posture rigid as stone. “Where is Sypha?” “I’ll tell you if you tell me.” He watched the vampire as he seemed to make a decision. “I need beer. So hurry it up.”
Alucard twitched and turned away from Trevor waving a hand motioning him to follow.
Silently the two of them walked toward the kitchen. “What the hell are those, F—”  Alucard turned on him quickly pushing him into the wall. “Don’t call me that, Belmont. It’s unbecoming.” “Are those dolls? Dolls of me and Sypha? Did you really get so bored that you had to, ahha, start talking to dolls Tepes?” “Oh Shut up Belmont. Yes I was bored. And I was… Lonely.”
“Oh.”  Alucard turned back towards the table and put the kettle on, before opening a cupboard and pulling out a bottle of wine. “Wine will have to do Belmont. There’s no beer to be found here.” “Hmm, well then let's drink. And talk. Adrienne.” He watched as the dhampir went still at the use of his actual name. “Fine. What is it you want to know?” “Why are there corpses at your front door?” Trevor asked, sitting heavily on a chair and slinging his arms over the back of it.
Alucard sighed across the room from him and poured himself a glass of wine as well. With his back turned he seemed to be considering how or if he should speak. It wouldn't surprise Trevor if his companion chose not to speak for some time, or to lie, hell he felt he deserved whatever disgruntled attitude the dhampir handed to him. “I was alone.” Alucard turned to face him then, eye narrowed and accusatory.
“You and Sypha have been gone, for...” He paused in thought the anger burning in him dimmed by his inability to recall how long he has been alone now. “Just over five months.” “Ahh, it's been that long? Regardless, Those two showed up seeking knowledge and I was glad to share it. Happy to have company even, as odd as that sounds. But…. Then they decided that I was a liar and should be killed. They wanted me to train them to be Vampire hunters Belmont, and then they betrayed me with that knowledge.” Trevor sighed he was obviously being spared some details, but he wasn’t sure why.
”So you killed them?”
“I did.” “And staked them.” “Yes.” Silence reigned as moonlight illuminated the dust that Alucard had kicked up in pushing the wine across to Trevor.  He watched as it shimmered between himself and Alucard. Like some kind of magical shield that was impossible to penetrate. Something wiggled in Trevors gut. It bothered him that Alucards actions made sense to him, but that wasn't the weight that had settled in his gut.  No, that was guilt. Guilt that he had left Alucard in a position that had resulted in the death of two humans and nearly his own death. He took a long draw of wine straight from the bottle and earned an annoyed glance from Alucard.
He was broken from his thoughts by a single word.
“Sypha?” “Eh, met back up with the rest of the Speakers. She said she will meet up with me here in a few weeks.” “I see. And you intend... To stay here for that time.” “I did, yes. But you don’t have beer.”
“Oh god forbid I not have alcohol to your liking.” Alucard rolled his eyes and sipped at his wine.
“ It doesn’t make a difference. Obviously you need someone here to keep you from mu—” He groaned as his back connected with the floor. The bottle of wine crashed somewhere beside him, shattering as it met brick. The chair underneath him pressed awkwardly into his back and he groaned. Glancing past the man on top of him, he could see that the table had been pushed back some many feet. “I did not murder anyone, Belmont. They attacked me.” Alucard snarled at him. Fangs bared, hair falling like a shroud around his face. Trevor stared up at him. “What else happened.” “Damn it Belmont. You left me alone here. You who know what loneliness is. Left me in this crypt by myself. In my father's grave, and guardian to the graves of your forefathers. And I’m supposed to be alright! Go to hell!” His voice was too even, too measured, too emotionless and it struck Trevor to the core. He felt like he had been doused in ice water.
He did not fight the blond above him. Why should he. He and Sypha had left him alone after murdering his father. And now it was clear that the man had snapped. He could feel bruises forming on his shoulders where he had been pushed down. Alucard looked down at him, chest rising and falling in barely controlled rhythm.
“What. Else. Happened.” Trevor grit out instead of an apology. Whatever it was, it had affected the dhampir more than he was willing to let on. Trevor was certain he shouldn’t have known this, and yet, all the months he spent traveling with Alucard lent to an understanding of the man he wished he didn’t have. It would be easier if they were still enemies. Golden eyes stared down at him, the pressure on his shoulders relaxed as weight settled on his thighs and Alucard sat upright. “It doesn’t matter.”
“It does.” “Fuck you.” “Yes, and you too.” Alucard stood. “Goodnight Belmont.” With that, the blond stalked down the hall and out of the moonlight filled kitchen. That would not be the end of it. But for now Trevor would let it rest. And when Sypha returned there would be talk of staying at the castle or taking Alucard with them. They couldn’t, no, he couldn’t leave him alone in the keep again.

I did not see this 5 years ago, though apparently I did
Hi there! So, in the light of the recent Ao no Exorcist chapters and Katou having a solid grasp on her timeline after all, my brain shocked itself enough to produce some serotonin and I decided I’m gonna diverge from my own principles and post this. Brain producing serotonin should be encouraged. Buckle up, everyone bothering to read: this timeline breakdown/fan theory emerged in 2012, when a bored AnE-fan pieced together a few of the plot reveals we’re starting to see now.
Spoiler warning for The End of the Beginning! Though strictly speaking they’re a timeline framework I developed in order to write TEotB, which means they’re gonna drop very soon via the flashback! So it probably isn’t as mind-blowing as it was to me... BUT I DON’T CARE I’ve been waiting 6 years for the content we’re getting right now, 6 years I’ve been on the edge of my seat for this misfit clone dork to finally tell his story and AAAAAH
Tumblr media
This is basically a full-body search of the Kyoto arc chapters, 'cause that was the only bit of the past we had back when I started writing. To this day that’s the part of the manga I have the best grasp on. x’D But all those hours paid off, good gods they paid off! This is long. Bear with me, ‘kay? Old-time AnE-fans remember that it was commonly thought the twins were born on Blue Night, much due to the anime: Kyoto Arc said it wasn’t. If you looked carefully, you could figure out that Blue Night was in fact the time of the twins’ conception, not their birth. Though to be absolutely sure, I plotted out the timeline three times and dug up records from a weather station in Kyoto to see if there would have been snow at that time of year in the early to mid 90′s because that’s how goddamn obsessed I am. And if you did figure out that the twins were conceived on Blue Night, you were inevitably sucked into an even more obsessive downward spiral into crazy fan madness because that meant Fujimoto Shiro was sent to steal Kurikara to “kill some kids” before those kids existed even on an embryonic stage.
Tumblr media
My original estimate was that the stage had taken 24 years to set up, based on the info in Kyoto Arc, but with Mephisto’s recent director’s cut of how he ghost wrote history that number bumps up to 36 years or potentially even longer.
For reference, the timeline I put together for TEotB plus the fresh dates from the flashback arc: 1977: Mephisto pressures Shiro into promising him a free wish because extorting a kid that’s struggling for his life is an ok move 1984: Satan fails possession for the first time because whoa so many limbs at once 1989: the Myou Dha is struck by disease 1993: Satan figures out how to properly possess someone, that’s Rin’s unrelenting never-give-up attitude right there 1994: after a nine year learning curve on just staying in a body Satan has three PhD’s and ditches school after one year of education - guess possessing a body really is a difficult thing to pull off huh 1995: Shiro unwillingly becoming the caretaker of orphans: part I 1996: not yet confirmed but Saburota’s first meeting with Lucifer/Asylum is probably now Also 1996: Satan returns to Section 13 with a reclamation claim on that crap body they sold him 1996-1997 (somewhere around New Year’s, I estimate): Shiro, who was an Upper First Class exorcist at the time, cures Myou Dha and oh is that a sword in your pocket or are you just happy to return to your boss after a successful mission? 1997 (probably mid-to-late March): Blue Night sucked for everyone, but at least Shiro and Tatsuma got promotions - yay 1997: Shiro unwillingly becoming the caretaker of orphans: part II 2003: when you’re a cursed, massacred and financially broke sect like Myou Dha, there’s few options but to join the Order of the True Cross to stay afloat 2005: Saburota recruits Mamushi to spy by raising suspicions against Mephisto ‘cause really, that ain’t hard 2013: a giant pile of shit appears in Kyoto and unleashes destruction on its surroundings and for once it isn’t Mephisto
The manga and the timeline are pretty self-explanatory so what I wanna stress here is what happened 24 years ago, in 1989, ‘cause that’s something Katou hasn’t touched upon yet and it’s really fun except for those involved. In 1989, a disease starts plaguing Myou Dha and the symptoms are identical to what you get from exposure to the miasma from the Impure King’s Eyes. It seems to be a very local problem, as we don’t hear of any epidemic in the rest of Kyoto. Did the seal on the Right Eye spring a leak? Nope. Because the Eye wasn’t there.
Tumblr media
We haven’t seen the shrivelled up bit of IK cause any trouble - not saying it couldn’t, but it seemed like that one hadn’t been active much for the past 150 years and it had been constantly monitored by the High Priest. I cross-referenced with the dates given in the new flashbacks but the outbreak doesn’t coincide with any boost of demonic activity related to Satan’s progress. So? The disease in Kyoto is its own separate disaster, and it’s most likely engineered. Let’s work our way back from the present to see how Mephisto set up this stage~ Mephisto knew of Saburota’s plan to unleash IK, and was all cool with that ‘cause hey, good opportunity to test Rin’s flame, build some team spirit, power up Bon, etc. For that reason he decided to move the Right Eye from his own keep to Myou Dha’s: if Saburota had been able to steal both of them from True Cross he wouldn’t have needed the pit stop at the Kyoto Office. He would have revived IK straight away, and even Mephisto couldn’t have motivated sending a bunch of kids into that chaos. So, move the Eye to a secret strategic location in Kyoto and force Saburota into jumping through a couple of extra hoops to get it. The Eye was moved in 2003 or thereabouts: this coincides with Myou Dha joining the Order, and makes perfect sense. The relic has ties to their sect, and it’s kinda fair to give them something back since Meph indefinitely borrowed their main relic, and now that they’re part of the Order and all - yada yada, smoke screens. Mephisto gave them the relic to set Saburota up, but not until he had the means to also give Saburota a trail to follow. Our fav Uncle Goat approached Mamushi, his student, in 2005 and recruited her to get the Right Eye. He probably thought he was cleverly working around Mephisto’s attempt to prevent theft, but if we think about it: who gave Saburota the opportunity to manipulate her in the first place? It is much easier to get your hands on an impressionable young Myou Dha kid if the Myou Dha kids attend the school where Saburota teaches. But why would they? When their families are very competent exorcists on their own and they’re used to keeping to themselves and...
Tumblr media
Keeping to yourself is only an option so long as you can survive by yourself, and from 1989 on Myou Dha couldn’t. But Granpa Suguro, being as stubborn as he is, has refused any modern/outside help for 7 bloody years. This disease is weird for several reasons. Its localised spread, for one; its similarity with the Eye mashou when there is no Eye present; the way it vanishes and is never heard of again after Shiro’s visit; the suspiciously good timing. We now know Mephisto is aware of the future to a certain extent - we saw that confirmed when he set Shiro up with that promise. That was the last doubt removed from my theory about the Kyoto disease, so here we are. Satan hadn’t even manifested with a consciousness yet but Mephisto had his sights on Kurikara and Myou Dha’s cooperation in 1989. He is a man of sophistication, so he takes the “if the mountain won’t come to Muhammad, Muhammad must come to the mountain“ approach: he used the Eyes to orchestrate an outbreak that would force the sect to reach out to True Cross - the biggest, most knowledgeable exorcist organisation around - for aid. Because the alternative would be to smash in there and outright steal the sword and nobody would send their kids to your organisation after that. But it didn‘t work. Granpa Suguro refused to follow script and so the years went by, Satan gained consciousness, grew intelligent, grew bored, oops there goes the Asylum ceiling, jfc Suguro how many more have to die before you just play along like a good boy...? In the end Mephisto had to deploy Plan B: screw it, theft it is. If Muhammad won’t go to the goddamn mountain I’m gonna drop the mountain right on Muhammad’s stubborn head.
Of course this means fucking things up for Shiro, ‘cause that’s just how these things go when you’re running a tight deadline getting the Antichrist(s) a birthday present. Also it’s fun.
Tumblr media
This frame says everything, really. xD Come now, how would you expect these people to trust you, and develop a friendly attitude to the Order, if you barge in there on your black-ops mission like a humanoid battleship, grab their relic and ditch the scene? Bad PR, very bad PR. Buuut if you’re injured enough that you can’t make that immediate escape, and you just happen to know how to cure this very specific disease that never flares up again, which you can contract from only 2 items in the world, of which both are owned by the snake-tongued sass ball you are enslaved by work for...? What a fortunate coincidence, what a golden opportunity to create some debt gratitude and-
Tumblr media
Nevermind...
I headcanon that if Granpa Suguro hadn’t died on Blue Night, Mephisto would have set him on fire personally for being such a roadblock to his plans. After Blue Night Myou Dha was decimated, bankrupt, thought by the population to be cursed - what is a poor sect to do? Who could possibly help? Oh wait wasn‘t there some guy a while back, y’know, that exorcist dude who came crashing in and saved the lives of our families and friends? He seemed to know what he was doing, think we could ask him? So the take-away from this is If not for that disease, if not for Mephisto’s misinformation and Shiro’s break-in, Myou Dha would never have joined True Cross. The Right Eye would never have been kept in Kyoto, there had been no Myou Dha kids at the Academy for Saburota to recruit, and the cram school kids would never have been in Kyoto to fight the Impure King. And also that Mephisto is a fabulous bastard and a pure joy to write! ☆

10 Things that Will Change Your Life Immediately
Tumblr media
I'm going to go through really quickly to ten different things But what I want you to do is be able to memorize these ten things And so what we're gonna do is we're gonna go through and I'm gonna teach you this very quickly A way of putting it onto your body and we're gonna put it onto your body just for ease So I'm gonna give you the ten keys To having an ageless mind. Every single one of them, you've either heard me say or you intuitively know that these are important That's not the reason I'm saying it
The reason I'm saying it is to take knowledge and turn it into power and I want you to take those ideas and have them Have real impact and what I want you to do is when I'm going through it I want you to cycle through and on a piece of paper Rate yourself on a scale of zero to ten how well am I doing in that category? One third of your memory is Predetermined by genetics and biology. Let's say two-thirds is in your control. These are the ten things I would focus on So the first one is a good brain diet Good brain diet. So on a scale of zero to ten What's an honest assessment if you're honest and true to yourself? Where are you on your diet? So we talked about the the most important foods for your brain that are neurological like protecting, they're Neuroprotective. So we're talking about avocados. We're talking about blueberries or what I call brain berries, right? We're talking about broccoli We're talking about eggs. If this is allowed by your diet. We're talking about coconut oil or olive oil We're talking about green leafy dark vegetables wild salmon if you're allowed to if that's part of your your your diet also as well Turmeric I do every morning. I do like an almond turmeric like tea right all these things are neuro protective number two killing ANTs automatic negative thoughts how well are you controlling your self-talk On a scale of zero to ten honestly even have you done this with me How strong are you zero to ten do your thoughts make a difference? Yes, or yes If I say constantly I'm getting too old. Is that gonna be self-fulfilling? Yes for you? Yes, if I say I'm forgetful I have a bad memory if you fight for your limitations you get to keep them So your mind is always eavesdropping on your self-talk. That's number two number three Exercise and really what we're talking about here is movement You're the number one function of your brain is to control your movement All right That's why we know there's not just a brain body connection but a body brain connection that using your body in different ways stimulates neurogenesis, it stimulates neuroplasticity It stimulates brain derived nootropic factors, which is the fertilizer for making new connections So you have to move but we live in a very sedentary life, right?
I was reading this book talking about barefoot kids and how we're taking away seesaws and Sprint's, you know swings and all these things We're over protecting them and then we're putting them in a very sterile environment They're not moving as much right they're always on their devices and they're not getting the brain growth Right, and it's leaning to learning challenges so on but how much you're moving every single day? They say they say sitting is the new smoking Right, you do not want to sit eight hours a day and just and just study I'm gonna go through the rest fast number four brain nutrients brain vitamins Because we're at a...you know, we're traveling when I may even eat the best foods ever Are you supplementing with there are certain nutrients and I would just have I would make this a no-brainer I would just go to your functional medicine doctor and get like hormonal tests full-spectrum tests food Sensitivity and just see what your baseline is because I really do believe people are bio individual Like and I've seen all the research talk to so many Individuals find out what works for you because if you're the most important supplement is DHA for the brain All right, that's number four number five positive peer group so rate yourself zero to ten How inspired encouraged challenged Energized are you by your peer group and again peer is choice I'm not talking about your family, but although they may be or your peer but the people that you choose, right? So either get a new group or choose who you're gonna let effect you positive peer group Because it really affects your your brain zero to ten Really fast number six clean environment how clean is your environment? How organized is it? Zero to ten. And you know this right is your external world? Reflected by your internal world and vice versa because it's a feedback loop Have you ever cleaned your room clean your desktop clean your work area and all of a sudden you have clarity of thought? the reason why I brought up the Boxing match is this is because I go over there We watch this fight and afterwards I was like, you know, I was me sitting here Sylvester Stallone on the couch here and then to his left was Arnold Schwarzenegger And I swear if you took a picture that like they'd be like who photoshopped that Asian dude in had that photo? But I was like What does it take to be a champion like those guys? And then Arnold said Jim the difference between the amateur and a champion Is a champion's willing to push past the pain period just like for those who did the exercise over the past few days? It's that intensity and getting in is there a pain period in a relationship? Is there a pain period sometimes in the health crisis is there pain period also in your business? multiple pain periods Right the ability to push past that's where the period is now because you've just in days and days here you feel like your attention
Is wandering and going different places. This is the time when it counts just like with your workout, right? So if Lorenzo and his team's here, that would be that would be the goal. So that's number That's number six number seven sleep on On a scale of zero to ten. How good is your sleep? It's important for your brain three really simple reasons It's where you consolidate short to long-term memory. That's where you actually remember. You do not even when you're doing these workouts build your muscles when you're working out you build it when you rest Same thing with your mental muscles same thing with your memory So that's where you can solid a short to long-term memory the other reason why you sleep is it cleans plaque out that could lead to dementia and potentially brain aging challenges The last reason why is how you dream? Right your REM sleep your REM, your REM stages of your sleep That's very important because that's where your creativity that's where I'm telling you like We did a whole thing on super brain on how to remember your dreams But specifically why do you want to member your dreams because you learn all day your brain doesn't shut off at night It's it's more active at night. And so Elias Howe created a sewing machine in his dream You know Paul McCartney came out with the song "Yesterday" in his dream. Mary Shelley came up with Frankenstein in his dream periodic table came to a chemist in his dream What are you dreaming about at night that could solve a lot of the problems in your business in your life? But you forget it the next morning That's why the first thing I do in my morning routine is remember my dreams and six steps on how to do that We we talked about in Super brain. After that sleep eight brain protection. Are you protecting your brain? And I'm not just talking about about wearing a helmet in extreme sports. Yes, that's obvious I've had series of you know, traumatic brain injuries and concussions and all those challenges Yes, but I mean like things like EMFs like we did a podcast episode specifically talking about Electromagnetic fields and how it's affecting the brain. Is that affecting the brain you think do you think it's norm? Do you think we evolved or born to be able to be able to handle all the electricity that's coming out of these smart devices? You know, I read recently that over 90% of kids sleep with their phones underneath their pillows right? Not on airplane mode, right? So it's big big big challenge We just did two videos on that have four million views in just a matter of weeks. You should watch watch those videos EMFs protect your brain number nine new learnings new learnings Meaning that you might have seen the longevity This is a longevity conference on the cover of Time magazine where there was this study on nuns Who were living 80 90 and above. What was the secret to their longevity? First part part of it was their emotional faith gratitude the other half lifelong learners
These group of women were just learning everyday reading every day having deep conversations doing the work every single day It added years to their life and Life to their years. So always learning and I'm preaching the choir here But I know for a fact most of you could actually push it even more Alright, that's how you create neurogenesis and neuroplasticity. If you want to know the secret to having an ageless mine Neurogenesis says you could create new brain cells to the day you die Neuroplasticity is saying if you create new connections to the day you die The two most important factors outside of sleep that's going to promote neurogenesis neuroplasticity novelty and nutrition just like your body you have to give it novelty or Stimulus and you have to give it nutrition and feed that muscle. Does that make sense? Same thing with your mental muscles, so novelty of movement novelty of ideas But most people as we grow older and I mean chronological age we shut down because we feel like we know everything right? So there's no novelty that's there. There's a Rumi quote that says "Sell your cleverness for bewilderment" Like when's the last time you felt bewildered? remember You don't have creativity or have focus or have a memory or have bewilderment Or have love or have motivation or have energy you do those things You do energy you do creativity do focus you do bewilderment so we're taking nouns turning into verbs and we're taking a structure a process a strategy and now you can replicate that at will and finally the last thing number 10 stress management And this is the invisible one, right? nobody wants to talk about But you're under a how many people didn't realize how much stress they were under until they were like hanging out here on the beach Because because it's like fish they don't see the water because it's there all the time But we are under so much environmental stress pollutants, environment stress, emotional stress, work stress cognitive stress financial stress And we don't realize that but you don't get the best of the best out of that right? It's good for fight-or-flight sympathetic mode But when you in a code when you want to be about it's not good if you need to think if you're in stress It doesn't help you study, when you're stressed, it doesn't help you give a presentation, when you're stressed, it doesn't help you perform Cognitively because it shuts down cortisol. Adrenaline big parts of your brain. So stress management. So, how are you managing your stress?

Chris Kresser: Hey, everybody. It's Chris Kresser. Welcome to another episode of Revolution Health Radio. This week we have a question from Beth. Let's give it a listen. Beth: Hi, Chris. My name's Beth. I'm wondering if you can comment about your reaction to the What the Health documentary that's on Netflix and quite popular right now. I have the BRCA 2 mutation and have known for about three years, and I'm feeling pretty defeated when looking towards the way to eat to prevent breast cancer. I feel like when this journey started out I was vegan, did a bunch of research, and experts pointed me towards Paleo. What the Health documentary, every time you get new information, you feel pulled in that direction. So would love your thoughts. Thank you. Chris: Well, we received several questions about the What the Health documentary, not just from Beth, and thank you all for sending those in. They were all quite similar, so I'm just going to consolidate the answer here to Beth's question because I think it will cover everybody's question. At least once or twice a year over the past several years there's been some big media story suggesting that red meat or eggs will kill you or a plant-based diet is the best choice or that vegetarians live longer than omnivores or other such unfounded claims. Every year a slew of researchers, scientists, and other critics, including me, debunk these stories. I will admit that it gets a little bit tiresome saying the same thing over and over again, but I've come to accept that this is just part of my job. It's part of my role. Fortunately, in the case of What the Health, it's such a shockingly inaccurate and biased documentary that by the time I got around to writing about it or addressing it, it had been widely criticized by experts across the entire spectrum. Because of that, I didn't write a critique as I typically would. There's even an article by a vegan dietician, believe it or not, that slams the claims made by What the Health. That alone should tell you something, but clearly there is a need for more attention here because I still get questions. In fact, I had a few family members over the past few weeks send me an email and say that they have watched this documentary and they were concerned about their current diet and wondering if I had seen it and if I thought that they should consider a vegan diet.
What the $#@! Is Wrong with What the Health?
Now a podcast isn't the best venue for a point-by-point rebuttal of the ridiculous claims made in What the Health, so I'm going to link to all of the best-written pieces in the show notes on my website, and at the end of the episode I'll give you the link for that so that you can click those links, read the articles, and follow those arguments in a more explicit way if you want to do that. I'm also going to link to all of my previous articles, or at least the most salient ones, debunking claims that red meat and eggs cause heart disease and cancer and reviewing research showing that vegans and vegetarians are typically at much higher risk of nutrient deficiency. In this podcast I'm going to give you a broader overview of what's wrong with this movie and why it shouldn't have any impact on your diet choices.
All organisms are shaped by their environment
When we're evaluating claims about the best human diet, we have to look at it from two angles. One is an evolutionary perspective, and the second is modern epidemiological and clinical evidence. As we'll see, What the Health fails miserably on both counts. The evolutionary perspective is important because it informs us about what a natural human diet really is. The evolutionary biologist Theodosius Dobzhansky once said, “Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution.” What he meant was that all organisms are adapted to survive and thrive in a particular environment, and when that environment changes faster than the organism can adapt, a mismatch occurs. For 66,000 generations, humans ate primarily meat and fish, wild fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and some starchy tubers and plants. There were some differences, of course, in the ancestral diets geographically. The Inuit typically have a very high-fat diet and low carbohydrate intake because of the limited availability of plant foods in that part of the world, whereas people like the Qatabans and Tukisenta in the South Pacific, where fruit and starchy tubers like sweet potatoes are readily available, tended to eat a high percentage of calories as carbohydrate. But despite those differences, the ancestral human diet shared a lot in common. They weren't eating cheese doodles, processed and refined foods, but they also weren't vegetarians or vegans. In fact, no human population in the history of civilization has ever been recorded surviving on a vegan diet, and again, that alone should tell you something. There are few, if any, known human populations that even followed a vegetarian diet exclusively, and if they did it was usually not by choice. They would often go to great lengths to trade with other local peoples for prized animal foods, for example. So why does this matter? Well, as I just said, all organisms are shaped by their environment, and that's true from the bottom to the top of the food chain. We consider bacteria that live very deep in the ocean near hydrothermal vents where there's no light at all, they're able to survive remarkably and most other organisms on this planet require light or photosynthesis, whether they require it directly or whether they consume foods that require it. But these bacteria that live near hydrothermal vents use sulfur compounds, particularly hydrogen sulfide, a chemical which is highly toxic to most known organisms, to produce organic material through the process of chemosynthesis. This is a great example of an organism that has been highly shaped by its environment. If you take those hydrothermal bacteria and you drop them into a shallow ocean that's exposed to light, they'll die. Cats are another example. Cats we've known for some time, but it's now more recognized by veterinarians that cats are true carnivores. They don't eat anything other than meat in their natural environment, and that's why you see now if you go into a pet food store, you'll see that all of the premium cat foods say “meat only,” and often raw meat, because that is the way that cats would eat in their normal natural environment. I even remember a story a while back about a vegan couple in France, I think, who had almost killed their cats, essentially, by feeding them a vegan diet. So this is just one small example of where ideology can go wrong when it doesn't match with the evolutionary perspective. Zookeepers are aware of this as well. There has been a growing movement in zoos to feed animals the diet that they would typically eat in their natural environment and this came out of the recognition that animals were getting sick in zoos. At first they weren't sure why. But then somebody actually brought this to light and suggested that, “Hey, maybe these animals are getting sick because we're feeding them things that they're not adapted to eat and that they wouldn't be typically eating in the wild.” And now there's been a much bigger movement to address that to the great benefit of the animals that are living in these zoos.
Vegan diets are lacking in key nutrients
Humans are omnivores. We're not true carnivores like cats, and this means we can eat both plant and animal foods. Our diet is not as limited as the diet of a hydrothermal bacterium or a cat, but like all other organisms and animals, we require a certain mix of things to survive. In our case, a certain mix of macronutrients—protein, fat, and carbohydrates—and micronutrients to thrive. It does not make sense from an evolutionary perspective that the best human diet is one that is lacking in nutrients that are essential to our health, yet that's exactly the case with the vegan diet. The biggest issue is that it's lacking in B12 and vitamin D. A common myth amongst vegetarians and vegans is that it's possible to get B12 from plant sources like seaweed, fermented soy, Spirulina, and brewer’s yeast. But plant foods that are said to contain B12 actually contain B12 analogues that are called cobamides that block the intake and utilization of B12 and can actually increase the need for true B12. This explains why recent studies that use much more sensitive methods of detecting deficiency have shown that 83 percent of vegans are B12 deficient compared to just 5 percent of omnivores. There's also no vitamin D in a typical vegan diet. There are some obscure species of mushrooms that can provide large amounts of vitamin D, but these mushrooms are rarely consumed and they're pretty difficult to obtain. This explains why vitamin D levels are 58 percent lower in vegetarians and 74 percent lower in vegans and in omnivores. But a vegan diet is low in other key nutrients as well, including calcium, iron, zinc, EPA, DHA, and vitamin A. There are some crucial concepts that you need to understand when evaluating diet claims, and one is bioavailability. For example, although vegetarians often have similar iron intakes to omnivores on paper, it is more common for them and especially vegans to be iron deficient. Why? Because iron and animal products, which is called heme iron, is far better absorbed and assimilated, aka “bioavailable,” than ferrous, or non-heme, iron found in plant foods. The same is true with calcium. On paper, calcium intake is similar in vegetarians and omnivores, probably because both eat dairy products, but it's much lower in vegans who are often deficient. But calcium bioavailability from plant foods is affected by their levels of oxalate and phytate, which are inhibitors of calcium absorption and thus decrease the amount of calcium the body can extract from plant foods. While leafy greens like spinach and kale have relatively high calcium content, the calcium is not efficiently absorbed during digestion. One study suggests that it would take 16 servings of spinach to get the same amount of absorbable calcium from an eight-ounce glass of milk. That would be 33 cups of [raw] baby spinach, or around five to six cups of cooked spinach. Another important concept to understand is the difference between precursor and active forms of nutrients. EPA and DHA are the long-chain omega-3 fats. They've been universally recognized as crucial to health, and they're a really good example of the important difference between precursor and active forms. Plant foods do contain linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. Those are the precursor fats, which can be converted in the body into EPA and DHA, which are the ones we really need. While it's possible for some alpha-linolenic acid from plant foods to be converted into EPA and DHA, that conversion is poor in humans. It's about 5 to 10 percent of ALA going into EPA and about 2 to 5 percent of ALA getting converted to DHA. This probably explains why vegetarians have 30 percent lower levels of EPA and DHA than omnivores, while vegans have 50 percent lower EPA levels and nearly 60 percent lower DHA levels. Another example is vitamin A. Retinol is the active form of vitamin A, and beta carotene is the precursor. The idea that plant foods contain vitamin A is a common misconception. Plants actually contain beta carotene, the precursor form. While beta carotene is converted into vitamin A in humans, that conversion is very inefficient. For example, a single serving of liver per week would meet the RDA of 3000 IU of retinol. To get the same amount from plant foods, you'd have to eat two cups of carrots, one cup of sweet potatoes, or two cups of kale every day. Moreover, traditional cultures consume up to 10 times the RDA for vitamin A. It would be nearly impossible to get this amount of vitamin A from plant foods without juicing or taking supplements. The third concept you need to understand to evaluate diet claims is nutrient synergy. Most nutrients require the presence of other nutrients called cofactors to be absorbed and utilized. Now, we just talked about how very little of the plant-based ALA gets converted into DHA. Well, that conversion depends on zinc, iron, and B6, which vegetarians and vegans are less likely than omnivores to get enough of. This can lead to a double whammy effect where vegans are not eating preformed DHA, but they're also eating less of the nutrients required to convert the precursor plant fat ALA into the active EPA and DHA. Now, finally, the fourth concept to understand is anti-nutrients, or nutrient inhibitors. There are many substances that impair the absorption of nutrients. We talked about oxalate and phytate impairing the absorption of calcium, but that's not the only nutrient that they impair the absorption of. The absorption of non-heme, or plant-based, iron is inhibited by several commonly consumed substances such as coffee, tea, and dairy products because of their calcium, supplemental fiber, oxalate, and phytate. But none of these substances with the exception of calcium has a significant effect on the absorption of heme iron from animal products. Again, this explains why vegetarian diets have been shown to reduce plant-based iron absorption by 70 percent, but total iron absorption by 85 percent. Zinc is another example. Many plant foods that contain zinc also contain phytic acid, which inhibits zinc absorption, and vegetarian diets tend to reduce zinc absorption by about 35 percent compared with omnivorous diets. This explains why even when the diet on paper meets or exceeds the RDA for zinc, deficiency may still occur. In fact, one study suggested that vegetarians may require up to 50 percent more zinc than omnivores for exactly this reason. At an absolute minimum, if you're following a vegan diet, you'd have to supplement with B12 and vitamin D to maintain health. But more likely, given the statistics that we just discussed, you'd also need to supplement with retinol, or the active form of vitamin A, EPA and DHA, zinc, iron, and calcium. I hope it's clear that it makes no sense to claim that a vegan diet is optimal for humans if you have to supplement it with several nutrients to make it work. This is ridiculous, I think, from an evolutionary perspective. We wouldn't even be here to have this conversation and human evolution would never have occurred as it did on a vegan diet. Let's move on to the epidemiological and clinical evidence that was used in What the Health. The journalist Nina Teicholz did a point-by-point analysis of the so-called “science” in What the Health. I'm not going to go into that level of detail here, but we will link to her article in the show notes so that you can go check it out, but here are some key points that I want to highlight.
The trouble with epidemiological studies
Number one is that most of the claims made in the film are based on epidemiological studies. These are limited in that they can only show a correlation, not causation. If you've been following my work for any length of time, you've heard me say this over and over again. One of the first things you learn in research methodology, which clearly the creators of the film have not studied, is that correlation is not causation, and there are a lot of fun examples of this you can find online, such as the number of people who drowned by falling into a swimming pool correlates with the number of films that Nicolas Cage appeared in, or the per capita consumption of cheese correlates with the number of people who died by becoming tangled in their bed sheets. I think it's probably pretty clear that this doesn't mean that people drowning in pools causes Nicolas Cage to appear in more films or that eating more cheese causes someone to die by becoming tangled in their bedsheets. That's absurd. Yet this is often the kind of leap that is made in popular media articles or, in this case, What the Health that is trying to extract causation from studies that were never designed to prove a causal relationship. Epidemiological studies are designed to generate hypotheses which then need to be verified with clinical trials or other experiments. Epidemiological studies also have other limitations, for example, the extreme unreliability of food frequency questionnaires, which depend upon people accurately remembering what they ate over the last six to 12 months. I can’t even remember what I ate six days ago, and I pay more attention to my food than most people I know. Another issue with epidemiological studies is that they can't fully adjust for confounding variables. For example, let's say they're looking at people who eat more red meat, they will usually try to control for the most obvious variables like smoking and physical activity, but they're not looking at things like the status of their microbiome, how much they're sleeping, or other healthy or unhealthy behaviors that they might be engaging in. It's virtually impossible to design a study that will be able to control for all of the confounding variables that we know about, much less the ones that we don't know about. We now know, for example, how important the microbiome is to health, but I'm not aware of any studies that are controlling for differences in the gut microbiome as in the research design. That's a huge problem. For all these reasons, scientists in most fields with the exception of nutrition, which tends to be out in its own world when it comes to this stuff, I agree that small associations with risk ratios of less than two are not really reliable in epidemiological research.
Clinical research quality varies widely
Number two, clinical trials are generally more reliable than epidemiology, but the quality of them still varies considerably depending on several factors: Was the trial randomized? Did it have a control group? Was it sizable? Was it on a relevant population? Did enough people finish the trial to make it meaningful, and do its results and do the data actually support the claim made in the conclusion? You might be surprised how often the researchers’ own data don't match their conclusion.
News articles should not be used as evidence
Number three, newspapers, magazine articles, and blog posts are not rigorous sources of evidence. They can be informative and they can be helpful in summarizing the existing evidence, especially when they link to it, but they aren’t considered valid ways of scientifically backing an argument. With all of this in mind, Teicholz ranks the evidence presented in What the Health and, as she says in her conclusion, In sum, 96 percent of the data do not support the claims made in this film. The film does not cite a single rigorous randomized controlled trial on humans supporting its arguments. Instead, What the Health presents a great deal of weak epidemiological data, case studies on one or two people, or other inconclusive evidence. Some of the studies cited actually conclude the opposite of what is claimed. There are many other critiques of the science in What the Health out there on the web right now, including one from science-based medicine, a critical review by a vegan dietician, which I mentioned earlier, and a point-by-point takedown on Vox. We'll link to all of these in the show notes.
The source of the message matters
But one last thing that we need to talk about before we finish up, and that is agenda. The two producers behind the film are Kip Anderson and Keegan Kuhn, who are vegans and animal rights activists. As Nina Teicholz writes in her conclusion, The majority of papers turn out to be posts by vegan diet doctors, namely Michael Greger and Neal Barnard. Both of these men are passionate animal welfare activists, so one can never know if they're seeking truth about a healthy diet or if stated from the premise that they'd like to end all domestication of animals and proceed to cherry pick the science back from there. Given the weak to nonexistent data presented in the film, the latter seems to be a pretty good possibility. In fact, What the Health on zero sound science is quite likely a piece of animal welfare advocacy masquerading as a public health film. That's exactly the problem. We know from drug research that industry-sponsored trials, or studies paid for by pharmaceutical companies, are much more likely to report favorable results than independent trials because of biased reporting, biased interpretation, or both. This is a well-established phenomenon, and it's been explored in both the media and the scientific literature. It really shouldn't be surprising. The fact that this film is made by two veteran animal rights activists doesn't necessarily invalidate its conclusions, but the fact that they only included experts and doctors that share their views, cherry-picked weak studies and unreliable sources like blog posts to support their argument, and ignore the huge body of credible scientific evidence that contradicts their claims makes this film a dangerous piece of propaganda rather than a factual report on human health and diet. Okay. That's it for today. I hope you found this to be helpful and informative. Head over to http://ift.tt/2yOLd4v to find a comprehensive list of critiques of this documentary and articles with real science and research that debunk its fundamental claims. Okay. Keep sending me your questions at http://ift.tt/1DErq19. I hope you're enjoying the show, and I'll talk to you next time.

My vegan list :)
Vegans (And those of us looking to or are making a positive enough impact) rejoice for even though this list (Starts after the next paragraph) has lots of stuff and covers pretty much if not every craving you are likely to have, this is a very basic/small list of all the vegan stuff that is actually out there, and to the best of my knowledge all of this info is correct, but if by any chance I have made any errors, please let me know (Note: At the end of this list, I do have a sustainable option of non veganism as well that can work if enough people get on board, and could encourage a lot more people to make a positive enough impact as well :)
From the Middle of 2017 till 2018 March 6th I was vegan, then on March 6th 2018 I decided to be an expert Flexitarian, then on the 1st of April 2018 I decided to nearly go back to the way I was before I was a vegan. I don’t know about where you guys live but here the speciality items, the imitation items and such are just getting too expensive and I am so fuckin’ poor that I would have to practically dare I say it, get into poor health and possibly die to keep on this path with my nutritional/specific needs, plus, I can’t afford a car or the insurance for it even if I could drive, I live an an old bachelor/studio apartment in one of the rougher areas, and on top of being fairly sensitive to sunlight I am ever more so with cigarette smoke and suffer many allergic reactions to it, and guess what, there’s more then enough of that second hand crap going on around here and it effects my mind, who I am, and my debt, don’t even ask, and, yeah, I kind of want to stay healthy and live… if I ever win the lottery or let lucky enough I will go back to being a vegan in a…heartbeat. When I was briefly an expert Flexitarian I though that if I ate as if everyone on earth or close to it were vegan then what would be humane, as in animals living their full lifespan/etc, you will see my all my reasonings at the end of this list. Suffice to say, living in that world, even though I know I’m in this one, and my flawed logic (Liver is a small part of a life form so having a big pig out on that as oppose to like maybe a small piece/slice once a year, I might as well just say the whole creatures life was for that particular kind of flesh/meat/food, and so on like that) + excitement took a backtrack because of this, but, in my dreams, well, I got quite the wake up call, and I will never consume any honey or fish, same with cheese, creams, butter, margarine as they are made from like 5% or less of the milk (5% milk/5% fat) or other stuff that is just too much of a strain for far too little gain, so adjustments will have to be made and knowledge shared :)
VEGAN LIST:
These are suppose to be the best of the best with none of the plant based substances present that can cause adverse effects such as "Lectins & Phytic acid" (Just to name a couple), so these 7 vegan subs should allow for a vegan diet to still have all the benefits of a non-vegan one:
1)Source Naturals, Vegan Omega-3s EPA-DHA, 300 mg, 30 Vegan Softgels
2)Doctor's Best, Vegan D3, 2,500 IU, 60 Veggie Caps (If you have little to no UV exposure)
3)Deva, Vegan, B12, Sublingual, 90 Tablets
4)Nature's Plus, Hema-Plex, 60 Fast-Acting Vegetarian Capsules
5)Solaray, Zinc Copper, 100 Veggie Caps
6)Thorne, Iodine & Tyrosine, 60 Vegetarian Capsules
7)Pure Vegan, Cal/Mag, 180 Veggie Caps
With these pills, you are most likely to eventually figure out what you need (Your body craves) each day and you may not even know how much you need something and how much better it can make you feel mentally/emotionally/physically until you’ve had it and/or the right portions, and depending on how you body is, it can change from day to day, so take the ones that make you feel best, after consulting with your doctor about these pills first, just to be on the safe side.
Meat:

A few of the many fast food joints in Canada:
Chinese food:
Sweet-and-sour sauce, Vegetable spring rolls, Vegetable steamed dumplings, Hot or cold sesame noodles, Salad with ginger or sesame dressing, Noodles and Rice, Veggie chow mein, Tofu chow mein, Steamed/plain rice (No eggs mixed in), Vegetable fried rice (No eggs mixed in), Tofu fried rice [(No eggs mixed in) & with rices and other items you can add stuff like garlic or whatever], Garlic tofu, General Tso’s tofu, Sweet-and-sour tofu, Cashew tofu, Tofu and broccoli, Mapo tofu (Specify no pork since traditionally this dish is cooked with it.), Mongolian tofu, Orange tofu, Kung Pao tofu, Vegetables, Steamed vegetables with a side of sesame sauce, Sautéed green beans and Garlic eggplant, fresh fruits and veggies :)
It is random but certain CF places here in Canada will do other practises that will make any number of these items non vegan, so just ask to make sure that there is no beef/pork/chicken broth or oyster/fish sauce, no bonito flakes to flavour any salads/dressings/soups, and for them not to use any non-vegan stuff from their signature stock to enhance the flavour of a dish (The boiling of bones/meat/prawn shells etc) and not to cook anything in lard and/or beef/chicken/fish oil/broth :)
Pizza joints:
if I were to have them without cheese or just make my own vegan cheese substitutes, then places that can make their pizzas vegan include: Blaze, Cici’s, Domino’s, Little Caesars, Mellow Mushroom, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, Pizza Nova, Pizza Pizza [Has introduced Violife vegan cheese to its menu, so just ask for a violife vegan pizza (With your desired toppings) and your good to go + there are rumours that there may be other pizza joints that are thinking of adding vegan cheeses to their menu], PizzaRev, Pyramid Brewers-Margherita Pizza, Taco Bell-Mexican Pizza, zpizza-Berkeley Vegan Pizza, etc) and have crusts and sauces that are vegan (Be sure to ask) and also ask them not to add any sour cream or creams, and apparently pizza without cheese/vegan subs are still really tasty with extra sauce, red peppers, beans, garlic, onions and mushrooms in it’s place, but of course these toppings would be even better still with good vegan cheese.
Burgers and fries:
Newyork fries (Fries), McDonalds Fries & Hash browns, The Veggie burgers and fries from the A&Ws & Burger Kings are also vegan (Just don’t get any Onion rings on your Burger King burger, and as for Harveys most of there locations fries are vegan but some cook them in the same friers as the chicken nuggets and their soy based patty burger is also vegan (Oh Canada :)
Taco Bell:
Bean Burrito (minus non-vegan cheese), Cinnamon Twists
Tim hortons:
Savoury Potato Wedges, Hash Browns, Bagels (Plain, 12 grain, everything, cinnamon raisin, sesame seed, poppy seed, blueberry, pretzel and onion), Harvest Vegetable Soup, Oatmeal, Garden Veggie Sandwich (No Cream Cheese), Garden Salad, Bread, There is rumours going around that their iced caps and other dairy options (Including my fav. “Creamy Chocolate Chill”) may have vegan subs if more demands for that option are met.

For today’s vegans that are craving meats and dairy (Or those that are curious), it may still be a little while yet, but were getting there (Scientists have already created bacon and hamburger meat from a harmless procedure of taking stem cells from said creatures, plus a lab created pizza that can be custom made to fit a persons daily nutritional needs while still tasting delicious, aaand researchers at Oregon State University were pleasantly surprised to find that, after working two decades with a seaweed species bred to feed abalone, they discovered that they were actually dealing with a delicious seaweed superfood called dulse that tastes like bacon when it’s fried).
Non vegan sustainability options - Feel free to correct me if any of this is incorrect, it was very, very difficult for me to find and I tried to insure that it was accurate + I left my old thoughts here too as they are all part of the journey:
The first one - the 7.5bil people scenario (If almost everyone to everyone is on board) is truly cruelty free, and you will see why after this paragraph - Hopefully : My little blurb before the list: From the middle of 2017 then doing more then enough to became an expert Flexitarian starting March 6th 2018, but I will never, ever, go to any levels below that, never, and here’s why (Just to give fair warning, these 2 videos are very, and I mean very graphic/real/powerful/Informative/etc to say the least, and they are true eye openers - As for the second one, it is a short 67second clip of deep spiritual proportions - the icing on the cake and you may want to turn the volume up on that one as it is rather low - oh, and a tasty little tidbit for all you fellow youtubers out there - While you are watching a video on youtube, you can cause that video to automatically loop and you can set it to do so at whatever part of the vid you want by changing “www.youtube.com” to “www.youtubeloop.net” (Again, while you are already watching that vid on youtube) - The vid will loop automatically right off the bat after entering it either once or twice as sometimes it does not register the first time, and there are 2 orange arrows below the vid that you can use to keep looping whatever part you want - Works for all youtube vids):

When I was completely meat, dairy and harmful ingredients free I had no meat/dairy/etc (Just the rare mistake/error though). Anyways, after doing some research on how much dairy and meat products would be humanly available per person if nearly everyone or everyone in the world were to become vegan/humane as an expert Flexitarian could have that stat if said scenario happened - the 7.5bil people one (Animals dying of natural causes/etc and humanly keeping natures balance in cheque and so on). Once I got my answer, since I like to try and live my life in a theoretical world that is (As far as I am concerned) doing things right, I am going to consider treating myself every now and again, once I get my answer (Such as, a massive “pig"out of beef rice with extra beef and sweet and sour spear ribs and sweet and sour chicken balls twice a year (Roughly 36grams per sweet and sour chicken ball, roughly 21grams/small-37grams/large per sweet and sour spear rib) - Birthday and new years - who knows, maybe I’ll be able to have a few more sides of whatevs as well with this scenario in mind + 1 slice of bacon is around 25grams so I’ll have a few slices of that on special occasions also:)
Well, it’s quite amazing really. If everyone (Or close to it) became vegan now or in the not too distant future, and made their yards/properties bee friendly, if a fair number of families had lets say 2 hens each (Which could be done, especially with today’s methods/feeds/etc - The average hen can produce 1 egg roughly every 26 hours, sometimes taking 2-3 days for an egg, and although they do eat meat, love insects and mice/etc, they can still get all their proteins/etc from specialised plant feeds - The egg production can be reduced to around 80-150/year if balances are off and result in health problems and for temperatures, lighting, whether/etc), and made the available land/earth nature friendly and the likes, leaving the areas that had or still have rich enough diversity/etc alone. The estimates say that this would be possible for each person on earth to do without causing harm to the environment, or suffering to creatures/etc (Also keeping into account having enough of the carnivores/etc in the food chain to keep things healthy all around).
What would be allowed/humane with letting all the creatures live full wonderful lives with the best feeds/etc, only being put down before their time if they are too injured/etc.                                                                                                      - (100% Meat/best of the best, same for everything else, meat or otherwise, no fillers, growth hormones, crap, and, um, well, crap/etc - The kinds of animals raised in this scenario are the kinds that will allow us to still have the products that we are familiar with but many made with different meats, to have the most meat with the least imprint - meat that is still delicious of course). Also taking into account there being far, far less waste like the outrageous amount of good food and drinks that are tossed and left to go bad when not selling + other reasons (This, people should be protesting in mass about, and putting an end to it) - Anyways, these stats are of a truly humane scenario per person with a 7.5 bil population if every last solitary person on earth did this with everything being balanced, also abandoning the previously rich areas, allowing all of the previously cut forests (that are used for non vegan food and foods in areas that were once forests/etc) that either still do or once sustained good enough to truly incredible diversity (Which is pretty much every forest/ecosystem that ever was) to be reborn/etc with us helping them out, and letting nature do what it should to make them great again and maximizing good use of the earth, ghost towns, etc, etc, etc, all land cleaned up and used properly, proper structures around the world/etc with a super healthy planet, super rich diversity, lots of forests and the whole works in all the best places - Possibly even more then what is listen below:
-Around 1½-5 pounds of non cattle and non sheep meat a year (Depending on what larger non cattle/sheep creatures you consume, including chickens & turkey) if you include having a little under a ½ pound of cattle a year (Sheep is said to be a bit worse for the environment, but I can’t find exacting stats on this). Although unknown, including rats, mice, rabbits the total can be quite a bit higher, especially if you also include insects (Interesting fact: Like good wine the taste of animals improves with age, so the older they are before they die, regardless as to whether or not they have lost body mass/etc, the tastier they will be, that is of course meat from old animals that had all the best foods/environments/no alterations/etc, and have been processed right after or soon enough after death, these meats being coveted amongst the elite) and the amount of feed and negative impact on the environment when there’s too many of them would also mean less of them to keep a global eden in cheque - People have the potential to keep on making this world far, far richer/better/etc then it has even been). [Rabbits, mice and rats alone would increase the total)/etc or any other smaller critters, including mice/rats (Despite the myths and stereotypes, they are actually quite sanitary and can make great pets) and all other smaller ones, even insects/etc that can eat more then just a small amount of meat/etc, so if all that was takin’ into account, then who knows what the total would be!!].
-2-3 extra large chicken eggs/week - The average hen will produce about 265 eggs in a year. Most hens have two productive years of egg laying then taper off as they age (Top 10 best egg laying hens are: Golden Comet & other hybrids, Rhode Island Red, Leghorn, Sussex, Plymouth Rock, Ancona, Barnevelder, Hamburg, Marans & Buff Orpington) - Like cats and many other animals when their “owners” are knowledgeable enough about them, treat them well/give them a good life, they make for excellent pets and when taken care of as part of the family. On average hens will live for around 8-12 years (Sometime around 20+), and they will lay eggs whether they are mated with a cock/rooster or not, and be sure to use Backyard Vegetarian Layer Mash or other organic/vegan based feeds, ones that will meat, er, sorry, meet all of their nutritional needs/etc. Caring, less stress, good environments/conditions more often then not also leads to better/more eggs. Egg sizes for stores (Super Jumbo 77g/2.75oz or more, Jumbo 70g/2.50oz, Extra Large 63g/2.25oz, Large 56g/2.00oz, Medium 49g/1.75oz, Small 42g/1.50oz, Peewee 35g/1.25oz, Petite peewee 28g/1.00oz or less).
-37-48 grams of solid milk Chocolate worth/week (If you eat these or other stuff with milk/bars and still drink milk just subtract the total of said item from the milk you drink as well). I will have some chocolate for Easter (A solid milk chocolate bunny around 120grams), Thanksgiving (2 small chocolate Turkeys totalling around 50grams or less), Birthday (McCain chocolate cake) & Christmas (A Terry’s chocolate orange). Every now and again a chocolate bar. Note for bars, make sure there’s no butter, Milk fat, cream in the ingredients list, but having cocoa butter is good to go, I like big turk bars - They have a chocolate coating, that way, getting lots more bar, meaning lots more yum.
-W/O chocolates (Just milk), around 57ml of milk each week (I won’t drink any "around 57ml/week, what’s the point, the rest of it would just end up going baaaaaahd, besides, unless there was enough people drinking it - lolz”, besides, I’ve actually grown quite fond of the chocolate soy silk anyways (The kinds with 7grams of plant protein per 250ml), but I do incorporate milk into other products that use it - chocolate bars almost always have around 12%-15% of it’s weight in milk - On average 1kg of chocolate cake has around 190ml of milk anywhere from 140ml-200ml of either butter “any cakes with butter, well, it takes 21lbs of milk to get enough of the fat to make 1lb of butter, so, um, nope, not worth it” [Butters & milks lb and ml wise is pretty much the same, but cream I am not so sure of, it depends on how thick/creamy/etc it is (Will update further if I find out), or vegetable shortening - Also ⅔ milk + ⅓ butter makes most average creams (Other ratios for thin to thick/etc)].
-Honey (Stats unknown but expected to be crazily minute), so the occasional feeds of Maple syrup it is. With a bee friendly world each person may be able to have their share of honey every now and again too though, but it’s hard to say (Like fish, in today’s world it is truly at crisis points, each bee only produces like 1/12 teaspoon of honey in it’s lifetime and it is only really humane to take honey from abandoned hives - don’t know about you but when I was a kid and teen it was common place to see several bees through the summer, but now I consider it lucky if I see about 10/year - F*** you Monsanto!!). (According to USDA reports, 2.77 million honey-producing colonies in 2016 generated 161.8 million pounds of raw honey).
-Fish (Stats unknown), a no go for me anyways due to how devastated the ocean/aquatic life/system currently is, cause we need it where if we all did such and such, things can still become paradise (for realz), live it, will it to the cosmos, project it, believe it, ee-dawn baby.
Also, for 9bil people, sustainability of meat (Same as above with 100% Meat/best of the best/etc) - Still having a really healthy planet with great diversity, plenty of forests/etc (These stats do however max out the taking/use of milk and although still very kind, they will still lead great lives but with an expiration date (When they are just old enough to make for good meat) as these stats are less generous on the types of creatures raised for meat (Based on the average percentiles of the creatures Americans consume), still making then viewed as things, and these stats allow for more production of cocoa/ingredients for chocolate), still giving these creatures good healthy lives with pretty much all the best:
Based on a world population of 9 billion, which assumes that animals are only allowed to graze on grasslands and fed by-products not related to soy, maize or other artificial feeds, still keeping all the areas where there were once forests with the exceptions of allowing the richest of forests/environments to regrow, heal/etc, and the figure they came up with was 26 grams of meat, per person, per day. For meat solely from ruminants the figure was 19 grams. 1½ large eggs pp/pd. Plus 138 grams of milk pp/pd. 57grams of solid milk chocolate pp/pd (138grams minus the milk chocolate).
So, I got thinking to myself, why should I deny myself all this just because most or all of humanity isn’t vegan (At least not yet), or deny myself of many things that a fair number of people don’t or can’t have or aren’t using properly/etc because of the flawed system/etc, if people don’t change, then the same result will happen.
I can easily be called a hypocrite or callous for this by some, or possibly even many since the world is not like this (The 7.5bil scenario), at least not yet, but on the flip side, this could convince much more people to be far friendlier in the world the way it actually is now making it even more likely for the 7.5 bil dream scenario to occur, and if anything, this will show that the world can still have it all, if done right (…don’t…let..stuff…goo…too…waste…) you know, life your life the way you want it to be lived and try to project that energy/logic into the cosmos, live in the world you want to see/live in - one that can still become a reality - feel/live that life, project that life - project that satisfaction - believe it is reality now :)
So, anyways, I can still have a cake for my birthday (No butter, cream, if possible to find) and have a slice or two of cake from everyone elses birthday too, I can still have ice cream…er…in my dreams {1 litre of “real” ice cream contains 250ml of whole milk (Straight from animal-min to no processing) or butter milk and 250ml of heavy cream with 4 egg yolks [2 full eggs (yolks and whites) can be used but the flavour will have less richness]} then too and treat myself to it every now and again as well (Same with chocolate), all that will mean is that I will not be able to actually drink any milk (Again, what would even be the point), but that’s okay, cause I still like my subs anyways :)
I am sooooo looking forward to turkey for thanksgiving (With gravy), and every now and again a nice feed of liver & onions with the occasional Maple-leaf Vienna sausages too, just to name a few things (Make sure your adding it all up though :)
BTW, I’ve heard that rats and mice actually taste so chose to chicken that it is hard to tell the difference. Sheep meet (This review was given by an anonymous expert food critic) is said to have a richer flavour with added tastes of campfire, mushrooms, nuts, a bit of a wine like flavour with some kick to it, a hint of a butter-like taste, and kind of an earthly flavour that is relatively close to a mixture of liver and iron. It is said to often be a bit of a shock to the system at first but is very tasty once one gets use to it. As for dogs, they sound absolutely delicious, tasting like a cross between extra flavourful/rich beef and mutton (Another word for sheep flesh/meat) with added extra meaty flavouring, that cooked dog meat is actually delicious with a unique/strong meaty/fragrant mouthwatering aroma. Frogs, the flavour and texture are supposedly mild and extremely agreeable. No strong odours, no strange aftertaste, they say if you tell people they are eating premium farm raised birds that have been dunked for a while in fishy seawater, with having a bit of that taste to them, that they will believe you. Cat supposedly taste like a cross between chicken (White meat only) and frog.
Lastly, science is already able to make clones and as for bringing back extinct species of flora and fauna, even making Pokemon (lolz), eternal youth, everything worthwhile being far superior and new additions/senses/abilities, immortality with being far, far superior to the DS9 changelings/etc, who know what the future will hold, but if we don’t have enough resources left to get to any number of infinite wonders beyond wonders, well, I would hate to think of such a scenario.

Dear Mark: Mortality Risk, Fish Heads, Metformin and Exercise, and Cooking Frozen Veggies
For today’s edition of Dear Mark, I’m answering four questions from readers. First, what does an “increased risk of mortality” actually mean if everyone’s going to die in the end? Second, what makes fish heads so delicious and nutritious? Third, what is the relationship between metformin and exercise? And finally, how do you prevent frozen vegetables from getting all mushy when you cook them?
Let’s go:
Hey Mark, In regards to the “garbage” meat study, how does relative versus absolute risk work? Does 3% increased risk of dying mean that if my chance of dying this year based on mortality tables is say, 10%, if I eat red meat my chance of dying is 10.3%? Thanks, Steve
Yep, you got it. It means that for the duration of the study, the subjects eating more meat had a 3% higher risk of dying. Some people lived, some died.
It’s not open-ended, though (because as everyone knows, everyone dies someday). The risk is confined to the duration of the study.
Since you mentioned eating whole organisms, I was wondering if there are any specific nutritional benefits to fish heads? I can get really cheap great fresh fish heads from my fishmonger which are fantastic steamed, and I’m curious as to their nutritional value. I can’t get much data on the heads particularly—surely the eyes and fish brain must have some unique stats and benefits? And while I’m at it… could I overdose on them? How much would be too much too consume each week in your opinion?
Grizzlies know the deal. During salmon season, they camp out on the river and snag salmon on their way to spawn. They’ll often eat the brain, eyes, roe, and belly, then toss the rest. They’ll go through dozens of them in a day, focusing only on the head and belly. Why? What’s good about the head?
Let me tell you about the beauty of the fish head.
The brain: A cow brain is incredibly rich in omega-3s, especially DHA. A salmon brain is INSANELY rich in omega-3s. Not only that, they are in phospholipid form, a structure that’s far more bioavailable than other types of fatty acids. The roe of a salmon is another excellent source of phospholipid-bound omega-3s.
The eyes: Eyes in general (like yours) are also loaded with DHA. A fish eye will have even more.
But a fish head is also delicious, not just nutritious (although the two often pair up, especially when you’re talking about whole Primal foods).
You’ve got the collar, that meaty ring of flesh and skin. Any Japanese spot worth its salt will have grilled yellowtail (hamachi kama) or salmon collar on their menu. Get it—it’s a great deal and a marriage of meat, skin, and collagen.
You’ve got the cheeks, unctuous bits of tender fish meat.
You’ve got the skin, which is incredibly fatty and collagenous.
You’ve got the brain, whose nutritious merits I’ve extolled. The brain is mild.
The eyes are pretty good, too. A bit chewy with a large deposit of collagen.
And if you’re willing to get messy, you can just dissect the head and look for the meat, fat, and skin. A good-sized wild salmon head roasted in the oven with just some salt and pepper is a solid meal that leaves you incredibly satiated because it’s so nutrient-dense.
Peter Attia has noted that in healthy people (non T2D, no metabolic issues) metformin blunts the benefits of exercise, especially the Primal type of low-intensity training. It therefore may decrease mitochondrial function. In other words, the more healthy you are, the less helpful metformin may be and can possibly make you less healthy, though that is not completely confirmed. Basically, if you’re healthy and Primal and do some intermittent fasting here and there, you may at best not benefit by taking metformin. See his podcast with Iñigo San Millán for more details.
There’s definitely something to this.
According to an interesting study in older adults without chronic disease, metformin actually inhibits mitochondrial adaptations to aerobic training. Exercising increases insulin sensitivity, unless you take metformin. Exercises improves mitochondrial respiration in the muscles, unless you take metformin.
It also appears to blunt the anabolic response to strength training in older men. In this study, those taking metformin and training saw less muscle gain than those training and taking a placebo. If true, this is a big blow against metformin supplementation for this population. The older you are, the more muscle you need to stay healthy and avoid morbidity. Every gram of muscle is crucial.
And it’s not just in “healthy” people. For instance, type 2 diabetics who take metformin and exercise regularly have worse glucose control than those who do neither. The authors of the study suggest that it may be “too much of a good thing”—that trying to stack metformin and exercise leads to a counter-signal, reversing the benefits.
Metformin might make exercise feel harder. Of course, it also increases fat-burning during exercise, and if you’re not used to burning fat during exercise, a sudden shift in that direction might  make your workout feel harder.
There’s a confusing relationship between exercise and metformin for sure.
I’m not sure what to think about metformin, to be honest. Another interesting study came out in the middle of last year comparing metformin alone to an intensive lifestyle modification program for weight loss. What happened?
Around 29% of the subjects who took metformin lost at least 5% of their weight in the first year. Almost 65% of the subjects who underwent the lifestyle program lost at least 5% of their weight.
Then, they followed up to see who’d kept the weight off from year 6 to year 15.
The metformin group won this one; 6.2% of that group maintained the weight loss while just 3.7% of the lifestyle group did.
So metformin can definitely help your average person who can’t (or won’t) maintain the lifestyle changes necessary to make a real difference. But if you can maintain the lifestyle that brings so much initial success—the diet, the training, the sleep, and everything else—it’s far superior than any pill you can take.
I would really appreciate any suggestions on how to cook frozen vegetables to make them taste delicious and crisp rather than soggy and limp… many thanks.
The trick is to use high heat. Whether you’re going to roast your veggies in the oven or cook them in a pan, you must get everything good and hot before introducing the vegetables. That means preheating the pan with fat (avocado oil works great here, obviously) before you add the vegetables. Cast iron can help here, as it really gets hot and holds that heat.
If you’re using the oven, hit 450°F or so. If you’re using the stove, go medium-high to high heat.
Also, don’t crowd the pan and cool things down by overfilling with frozen plant matter. You want room between each piece of vegetable. You want them to caramelize and crisp, not steam.
Thanks for reading, everyone. Take care, ask any followups you might have, and have a great day!

The secrets of America governments (2)!
5/4/2018 is my 3 years anniversary of homelessness. Thanks to America governments which have given me new life experience that can’t get from any other nations. 1st, I want to thank to OBAMA who asked his political appointees to dismiss my lawsuit without sound reason and threatened me that “The consequence of seeking justice is on the street.” (The staff of Eastern District Court of California named Street sent me email to say “Your concern is our concern.” My concern is justice but OBAMA’s concern is sex. So, is my concern OBAMA’s concern?); 2nd is Donald Trump who can “Make America Great Again” (Actually he has “Made America Worse”. He deprived of my right of employment and forced me to be homelessness endlessly). Why? Because he is deep-seated prejudice against me and discriminates me because I am an Asian and one of members of America LGBT Community. In essence, He is racism and homophobia labeled by countless people, especially homophobia, just see his 21 members of Cabinet are homophobia). So, the redress for me is endless homeless, plus torture; 3rd is Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg. From surface, they have fundamental difference of political views with Donald Trump. But toward me, they are the same: deep-seated prejudice against me and discriminate me. That’s why they have worked together with AT&T and local Police to dismiss another civil lawsuit and forced me to play nonsense low-life games endlessly.
That’s why AT&T senior legal counsel named Robert Mullen offered me settlement “nicely” of $1,500 and then increased to $2,500. Why? Because Robert Mullen and AT&T CEO-Randall Stevenson have treated “California State Judicial Branch” as a flea market and treated me as a beggar. The same as Donald Trump. Just do the simple math and ask simple question: How much of homeless meal and homeless shelter per day? Well, based on cost structure of DHA of Sacramento: The meal is $194/month, the shelter is $138/month. So, total cost of my 3 years homelessness is $11,952.
Wow, so sharp of Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg! My more than 58 months of harms, sufferings and mistreatments are just worth is $11,952. Moreover, those food are contaminated and shelters are no safe. In addition, Terry Gene Bollea-Hulk Hogan’s civil lawsuit got 140 million redress just one privacy violation. Just from this point, is it not concrete proof that Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg discriminate me? Finally, those food and shelters are from charities not from Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg even they have worked together for Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg.
Now I talk about Police. It is Police job to protect people safety and security. This one Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg have done a “terrific” job, especially Jerry Brown. How? Asking Police to find excuse that my “mysterious” medical problems are not a Police matter but medical issue; then asking doctors to cover up and find next excuse because many medical problems have thousands explanations. Ok, if food poison is not a Police matter, how about “Assault and Robbery?” Well, “Assault and Robbery” are not a Police matter too based on SAC-PD. But why Kentucky Senator named Rand Paul got minor injury due to assault, local Police arrested perpetrator, charged him and the perpetrator was brought into justice immediately? Mine is not only assault but also robbery. Why SAC-PD did not want to investigate? The answer is discrimination. SAC-PD, Ex-Mayor Kevin Johnson, Darrell Steinberg and Jerry Brown discriminate me. Next why? SAC-PD, Ex-Mayor Kevin Johnson, Darrell Steinberg and Jerry Brown have been corrupted by Singapore government, China government and Canada government insidiously with 99% possibility. Next next Why? Because Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg’s final goal is forcing me to commit suicide. Then America governments can write off debt for their bloody wrongs against me and keep good relationships with Singapore government, Canada government and China government.
Hell no, Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg! Are you annoyed that “I am still alive?” Well, I have been facing harassment and annoyance every day from local goons hired by Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg and more for more than 4 years in California. Since Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell want endlessly. Ok, just endless until I die in “natural course” from “Cold germs” and “Nerve agents.” Finally, Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg win because their “Ponzi scheme” work.
Get off my back, Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg! Sex and love are absolutely my personal autonomy and absolutely beyond governmental reach. I need not your “mercy” and know what to do. On the contrary, you do not know what to do and must consult Singapore government, Canada government and China government how to persecute me in America.
Here I tell you AT&T: I do not want your settlement of $2,500 (Why? Because Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg have been corrupted by AT&T insidiously with 99% possibility). Here I tell you: Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg: Thank you for your “nice settlement” and “mercy” of $11,952. So, I am still alive.
See, on Halloween Day of 2016, U.S Supreme Court denied my petition without reason; on Halloween Day of 2017, my shoes were stolen by local goon(s). So, I must walk by bare feet from downtown to Loaves &Fishes. See, U.S Supreme Court and local goons, not interesting? Because Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg want me to stumble to nails, stones and sand. Wow, America governments are so powerful and so intelligent.
Since Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg discriminate me, I despise them as a return. Just let U.S Executive Branch and California Executive Branch rotting and U.S Judicial Branch and California Judicial Branch corrupting.
Again, as one of members of International Community, I want to remind Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg constantly for their obligations to human rights for better world and better tomorrow.
Note: 1) Based on Matthew 5:11: “Blessed to you when others revile and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake. “ Donald Trump, Jerry Brown and Darrell Steinberg: You can abuse your evil networks to work with Lee Hsien Loong and more to demonize me. However, I want to ask to God for forgiveness because I have made a biggest mistake in my life because I am too naïve: a) to believe that America is a country of “Rule of Law”; b) to believe that honesty would be appreciated in America; c) to quest freedom, democracy and justice in America.
2) I have zero dollars on my wallet for more than seven months. Thank you, American governments: You are so “generous” to me.
3) Do whatever you want: Donald Trump, Jerry Brown, Darrell Steinberg and your evil allies Lee Hsien Loong and more! I am in open, you are in dark. If assault and robbery, molest and rape, “Cold germs” and “Nerve agents” and more than 58 months joint-tortures and joint-persecutions are still not enough. Even you have countless broken puppets and local goons, you can kill my body but you can’t kill my soul.

Excerpt : Live, Said Death. I Am Coming...
Dha’s cage was not, in fact, a cage. It was a pit, a hole in the ground, smack in the middle of the Imperial temple to the Hordian gods. The circular hole into the stone floor had no bars, chains or any means of barring the way out. There were only markings carved around the hole in a perfect circle, made of Hordian holy runes. And those were better bindings than any bars or chains.
Suriya could not see into the pit. It was too dark, too deep to let light enter and escape. Was it a consequence of Dha’s presence inside it? That she killed even light itself?
So... this is where I die... in the ground.
Suriya’s bare feet felt the cold of the temple floor, swept clean of the sand that inevitably enters it during windy days. The large candles lit on the walls around the pit gave only enough light to see the figures of those in the temple with her : a hordian priest, his two acolytes, the Imperial Regulator who condemned her and about a dozen Imperial guards. Just in case she tried to run.
Idiots. She would not shame her grandmother so, to flee in the face of death. She and Suriya had worked and fought too long for this chance to free Dha. She would not let fear turn her away now...
For so long she had listened to her grandmother tell stories of their patron god, who loved this place, at the edge of a desert held back only by living sentinels of wood. The cedars that ended the advance of the desert into the fragile forests of fruit-bearing trees were loved and cared for as protectors of the people, and their future.
They were also loved by Dha, Grandmother Luri said, so much so that She stayed Her hands in collecting them long past the normal lifespans of any trees. She would come and sit among them, sometimes facing the desert, sometimes the forest. But always, when they had become too brittle in their old age, she would end them quickly, and in their place She would leave a seedling.
Death is the promise of new things, Luri said. Without it, there would be only suffering. And stagnation.
The Hordian empire had bought immortality from their gods with the banishment of death from the world. But from it came not eternal life. Only long lives of suffering from bodies worked beyond lasting, and minds grown beyond learning. Their empire, like their gods, was stagnating. They had become a horrifying mixture of lassitude and cruelty.
And that cruelty was exactly why Suriya was in the temple now, for when she had loudly pronounced seditious words in front of an entire court, the Imperial Regulator present had seen an opportunity to twist the knife into her grandmother’s heart : he had called for her death, sent into Dha’s cage to die. A fate that can now be had only there. Surely Luri, an old worshiper of the death god, would be honored by her granddaughter’s chance to meet their old patron?
The smug son of a hog had smirked then, enjoying his chance to exert his Imperial power over a conquered people. Later, when Luri had been allowed to visit Suriya for the last time, she had given her something to swallow. A charm, a small stone, one carved with old magic glyphs from their ancestors’ own magics. A spell to turn stone to sand.
Smash it into the walls of the cage. The walls will crumble and the runes will fail.
Luri had looked into her eyes then, and in them she saw pride, sorrow, longing... regret. She had hugged her fiercely, as if she would never let go.
It should be me...
When she finally did let go, she stood stiffly, with effort, and...
When you see Her, tell Her... I am so sorry. And that I look forward to seeing Her.
And so, here she was. Barefoot and wearing only a white shift, walking calmly towards her death. Toward the god her grandmother had longed to see, to free. How odd, now that she was here, on a cold night, escorted by so many men, she suddenly wanted to be anywhere else. Her heart beating, demanding she escaped. Her eyes searched for ways out. Her mind pondered ways to disable her captors.
But she was also walking towards the pit steadily, moved by an unwavering determination. She would do it. She would set her free.
But not before Dha granted her one request.
Don’t take her from me. She’s all I have left.

Da dada DAH!
So, how bad is the writing? Too dramatic? Too much info crammed in? Something unclear?
Most important of all... do you want to read more? That’s how you know if its good....
Tell meeeeee....
And as always, thanks for reading! Until next time!
