Note
for the Undertale fandom opinions this might've been said before but I really hate all the sans aus tbh no offense to the people who made them or enjoyed them it's totally cool if you like those things but I really hated how everyone tore sans from undertale to put him on a pedestal to the point where characters that would fit better in the aus are replaced with Sans even though sans is ALREADY THERE??? (For example dream tale. Why are there two sans. Papyrus is RIGHT THERE.) They turned sans into more of an oc/ oc insert and it always upset me I think someone else made a post about it but I cannot find it they were specifically talking about dream tale but this happens in most aus
I FEEL YOU ON DRE/AMTALE SO HARD IT MAKES ME FEEL VIOLENT. actually thinking on it im so curious if that post you were talking about is somebody else i should probably follow or literally my own post lmao but!! GHAGH
im really glad that people could find enjoyment in those kinds of aus and i definitely relate with my 400 papyruses! hell making so many aus of the same damn character is definitely what helped me lean into my love for character design and the intricacies of it, BUT man sometimes the WORLDBUILDING is juist sooo.......sans does not have to be undertale's specialist boy all the time please have like one (1) other character im begging you

so, what if you do a Comedian reader x Classic, Nightmare, Cross, Dust, and Killer?
(You can add horror if you want, I just would've guessed he'd be delusional to the jokes the reader makes)
AU SANSES X COMEDIAN READER
(Classic, Nightmare, Cross, Dust, Killer)
Classic:
Oh, looks like Sans found his soulmate!
The first time you told him a joke, he swore that he fell in love. Even more when you told him more.
There's never a dull moment between you two! Always cracking up jokes. (Papyrus might be going a little crazy from your puns 💀)
Is going on all of your comedy shows. Every. single. one. Don't worry, he wouldn't miss this, EVER. In return for him going on your shows, you're going to his! :)
Slowly, but surely, becomes your fan. He has your jokes memorized at this point.
No matter how much he's heard your jokes, he'll always laugh.
You give each other tips for jokes. (Each one more ridiculous, but you guys find it funny 💀)
Well, what else can I say? You're just two cuties.
Nightmare:
Rolls his eyes at your jokes. Is really not all that impressed...
Nightmare's more of a fan of dark humor, so the right way to get to him, is by telling him a dark joke.
Trust me, it'll take EVERYTHING in him to not laugh at that joke.
You decided to take on the challenge. Beginning your plan to make the king of darkness laugh.
You send many dark jokes his way, which cracked him up. But he was still holding back.
After this, he got curious and decided to go to see your comedy show. It wasn't really for him, since he doesn't share the same sense of humor, but it wasn't that bad. (Bro's actually complimenting you? 😯)
From this day forward, he'll be going to your shows undercover. (Doesn't want to get caught lacking 💀)
Cross:
Bros a lil emo, so he'll probably act like your puns are not growing on him. (They are)
You once offered to take him to see your comedy show. He denied. 🙄
After you left to your show, Cross literally LEAPED from the couch and ran to see your show! He just needed to know if your jokes are as hilarious on stage as it is in real life.
He can't lie...but he laughed his ass off over there.
He immediately paid for the next show, with you not finding out he was even there!
He can't let you know that he's really not all that mysterious! That would be embarrassing.. ;)
Loves your puns! But you'll never find out.
Killer:
He's that one type of monster to yell; "LMAO, LMFAO, LOL" out loud. His cringe ass always gets you💀🙏🏻
He'll be so proud of you! Look at you, running your own shows, bringing people joy. He's so supportive.
"YOU SEE THAT HUMAN UP THERE!? THAT'S MY HUMAN!"
You would often find yourself embarrassed on stage cause of him...
The first time he found out about you having a show, he immediately wanted to see! (Even after you denied him multiple times)
He never stops encouraging you after that. It's always one praise after another. (I need him in my life bro 😭)
Is willing to punch someone just for you, so if there would be someone creepy, trying to get a feel of you, he won't hesitate to kill him.
Dust:
He's probably the one that encouraged you to start your own show.
Look, maybe he's a little emo...but he's not that big of an emo to not at least let out laughs at your jokes.
Out of all the bad sanses, Dust is probably the one that's the most closest to his original self. (Classic) So it's not a big surprise when he starts saying his own jokes back to you.
He was the one that also helped you make your dream into reality. (Since it was his idea.)
Truly proud of you when you're on stage. Also compliments you, but not as much as Killer. Look, he doesn't wanna embarrass you. 🤷‍♀️
"Hey, you see that human up there, on the stage? The star of the show??" "Uhm...yeah?" "Heh.. that's my partner.." Cue the scene of Dust looking up at you, with a dorky look on his face. "WHAT?!"
Your fans were never the same after that. You and Dust became the targets of what's called, shipping.
Not like Dust wasn't enjoying the thought of you two being a thing ;)

Bite-Sized: Lost Part 2
I forgot to post this on tumblr!! I'm so sorryyyy 😭😭😭
I'm planning on updating Bite-Sized some time soon, so I knew I had to catch it up on my tumblr
Here's the final part of B-S: Lost
Everything was white. Now, that wasn't an unusual statement, given that the brothers lived in Snowdin, but the white here felt... aggressive. Like it was waiting to each the child whole. Papy wasn't here either. The child gripped the tails of his scarf after he stumbled to his feet. He was wearing those dumb pink boots and feeling more than a bit foolish. The Underground was very small and it wasn't easy to get lost. Unless you got to close to Temmie Village. He always got lost around Temmie Village. Luckily, there was a very simple trick for finding your way around Snowdin. Just walk! Eventually you'll hit a path, or tree, or monster, or even the walls of the Underground! Or wind up outside of Snowdin, but it wasn't that hard to just go back in.
So the small skeleton child started to wander. Deeper and deeper he went into the nothingness. He didn't know how much time was passing, or even if it was. The more he walked, the more he feared he had left the Underground entirely. If worst came to worst, Papy would find him and he'd be grounded until the barrier was broken. The boy shook his head and continued forward. No, he'd find his way back home. He'd done it hundreds of times before.
--
"dude. i'm telling you, boss speaks in capitals. he's totally the papyrus of him and dream."
"the hell? no he doesn't. both him and dream just have normal monster speak. they don't even have specific fonts." Dust cuffed Killer on the head.
"dream said that he didn't speak like that until after ink found him. so nighty is the paps," The Sans puffed out his chest as if he had just spilled some great secret of the multiverse. Dust groaned.
"you don't even talk to dream,"
"well, dream told ink, and ink told error. error told me."
"ink's memory cannot be trusted." Dust growled out. The two stopped walking when they came across a splash of black in an otherwise barren wasteland of white. "speaking of ink," Killer stared at the spot of paint that had clearly once been a portal. "where do you think he went?"
"knowing him? probably off on some adventure with "broomie" or some shit." That got a laugh out of Dust. "hey, you think he's still around?" Dust shrugged. "if he is and i catch him-"
"no."
"but-"
"no." Dust sighed. "last time i made a bet with you, i was doing your chores for a month," The shorter skeleton glared. Killer wore a too-wide grin that promised only mischief.
"it'll be different this time, honest," He held one hand over his heart and another in the air. Dust huffed and shoved past him. "if i find him, you owe me a set of knives from that market au, the one with the giants. and if i don't, i hop over to that little alchemist au you like so much and get you... um..."
"if it's the ingredients for napalm, again, i'm torching your room,"
"i'll get you the stuff for those smoke bombs you're always making crossy," Killer stuck his hand out. Dust looked at it warily before finally deciding to shake it. Killer whooped and ran off. Dust shook his head. Missions with Killer were always something. He was loud and obnoxious, but also highly effective in battle. Though he has a horrible habit of not looking before he leaps. Cross and Nightmare were both far better mission partners, and Epic when the guy was around. But because Nightmare was a literal deity and Cross himself was a highly trained guard, as well as an out code, they went on solo missions more often than not.
--
Killer hadn't expected Dust to follow him. He was probably the laziest of the Sanses that Nightmare kept around. If he could avoid walking, he would. And it wasn't like Dust was the one looking for Ink.
Staring down at the small child, Killer was kind of wishing he had dragged Dust with him.
"sooo," Killer started, grabbing the kid's attention. His face was... off-putting, to say the least. The gaping hole on top and glowing red eyelight was starting to freak Killer out, just a little bit. Not that he'd ever tell anyone. Besides, this was a kid, what's the worst that could happen. The kid looked up, tilting his head in a puppy-like manner. "whatcha doin' out here on your own?" The kid fiddled with his scarf tails. Oh man. Killer really hoped he hadn't lost his Papyrus. "lookin' for your bro?" The child regarded the question for a moment before nodding. "cool. cool." There was a moment of silence. "you got a name?" No response. "know how you got here?" Still nothing. Killer was betting on the bugger having fallen through Ink's portal. Or maybe he was just an outcode. At least he was on the right track. Maybe. Killer was sorely tempted to abandon the child, a perfect set of knives was on the line here. Worst came to worst, he could just pick the child up on his way back. So he left without any moral qualms.
Dust, on the other hand, had been slowly following Killer, not trusting him to not do something stupid. He was far behind the target-souled Sans, but Killer stopped long enough for Dust to have nearly caught up. Which means he saw the idiot up and leave the kid. Dust quickened his pace and approached the child.
"hey buddy," Dust said softly, kneeling to be on the child's level. "you doing okay?" The kid looked back to where Killer had gone. "don't mind him. i'm dust." Dust stuck out a hand. The kid shook it. His hands were so small and felt fragile and flaky, almost like he had been starved. "what's your name?" There was a moment of silence.
"h-horror?" The kid, Horror, sounded uncertain. Dust couldn't correct the kid, he didn't know if his name was Sans or even something else entirely.
"well horror, do you mind if i pick you up? i gotta catch up to my friend before he goes and does something dumb," Horror giggled and nodded. Dust gently scooped the child into his arms and tried to ignore just how light he was. Horror yawned and snuggled into Dust's scarf, eyes fluttering shut. Dust smiled at the kid before turning to where Killer had disappeared to and frowned. That bastard had a lot to answer for.

Glitched Apples
Chapter 3
First Previous Next
    It's been a few days since the villagers last tried to bully Nightmare. Geno was happy to stay behind while Dream went to visit them a majority of the time, he meant it when he said he'd make sure that he didn't leave Nightmare alone. He lets him have his privacy, of course, and doesn't hover around him the entire time. He knows that if he just hovers around him all the time, he'd probably be annoyed that he couldn't do anything without having him pretty much watching him the whole time.
    Geno was by the flowers again, he can't deny that he's fascinated by them. He does take the time to look back at the tree, where Nightmare was reading a book. He had noticed that it was something the other liked to do when Dream wasn't there and he was alone. He decided to go see what he was reading this time. As he walked back up the hill, Nightmare noticed him coming up. He continued reading, but scooted over. They had gotten used to each other's presence by now, and Nightmare didn't mind him being closer now. They've been hanging out with each other over the last few days, Nightmare was anxious about being alone after the villagers came to bully him.
     Geno sat down near him and just relaxed for a bit. After a few minutes, he asked, "So, what are you reading today?" Nightmare paused in his reading, "It's a mystery novel, there's this detective who's trying to find out who murdered the owner of a mansion and host of a party. There are a few suspects, the chef, the butler, and some of the guests who are believed to have some reason for wanting him dead." "That's interesting, do you have an idea who did it?" "I'm pretty certain it's the butler, possibly a plot between him and a guest, haven't figured that out yet." Geno nods, and starts feeling a bit nostalgic, remembering when he used to read Papyrus bedtime stories.
      "You good? You look kinda sad, is the subject of the book I'm reading an upsetting topic for you?" "Huh, oh, no. It's not that, I was just remembering my brother and how I'd always read him a bedtime story. It was something that we both enjoyed, even when he outgrew the usual need for one. It was just a thing between us, something that made us both happy. ...I miss it, too, but nothing can be done about it now." Nightmare hesitated, before placing his hand on his shoulder. When Geno looked over at him, he smiled softly. "Do you want to read this with me? I can read the narration and you can read the dialogue?" Geno was surprised, but accepted the offer. He could tell that Nightmare was offering a way to still do what made him happy, even if he couldn't read to his little brother anymore.
       After a while, they finished the book. Turns out, the murderer was the chef, who had poisoned the host's food, but not the rest of the guests' food. The chef was bitter about his job, but had hidden it well. "That was an interesting read, if I'm honest, I never knew of these genres of books. There... wasn't much to read, back in the Underground. Mostly puzzle books, kids books, and the occasional other book that was salvageable from the dump." Nightmare thought over his response, and decided to ask something he's been curious about."If it's alright, could you tell me what the Underground was like?"
    Geno figured this question was coming sooner or later, he had already planned what he'd tell him. Nothing about the human or the resets, though. He knows how absurd the concept of resets sound, and the last thing he wants is for his new buddy to think he's mentally unstable, or crazy. "It's alright, the Underground was an okay place. It has a few places where monsters would live in, the Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, and New Home. The Ruins used to be called Home, and it's the oldest place, that I know of." Nightmare was a little amused when hearing that. "It was called Home? Really?"
     Geno smiled, "Yeah, King Asgore wasn't the best at names. It doesn't get better, either, Snowdin was a town that lived with snow that magically didn't melt. Waterfall had, well, waterfalls. Hotland had lava, since it was the deepest part of the Underground, and the name speaks for itself. It was also the home of the Core, which powered the entire Underground. And New Home is where the king's castle and home is."
     "Pfft, not very creative, is he?" Nightmare couldn't help but laugh, it was funny that a king would come up with bad names for places. Geno was a bit surprised to hear his laugh, he never heard the other laugh before. He smiled, and continued, "In Snowdin, there's this inn, and get this, it's called Snowed Inn." Nightmare laughed even harder at that, he started tearing up from laughter. He had to wave for Geno to stop so he could catch his breath. Geno does, happy that he got him to laugh.
     After a few minutes, Nightmare is able to breath normal again. Geno goes back to relaxing against the tree, but sees a few villagers quietly looking at them from a distance. He stared them down with a glare, and they back off rather quickly. He suspects they were checking to see if he was around Nightmare, likely looking for an opening to harass the poor guy. He looks back just as Nightmare finally calms down from his laughing fit. "Haha, ha, that was very funny. Man, I can't believe how uncreative he was, though that last bit caught me off guard. Did anyone complain about it? Or point it out?" "Nah, there weren't any complaints about it, people would joke about it sometimes, but he never seemed to mind. He's basically a big fluffy pushover with the other monsters, not to say he can't be serious or pull his weight, but he's very friendly to everyone."
     "That's nice to hear. So, what else are you willing to tell me?" Nightmare looked so enthusiastic and excited to hear about his life before, he couldn't resist thinking it was cute nice of him to be so invested in it. So he told him of some stories of when he and his brother were little. How Papyrus would be so adventurous and sometimes got himself into situations where he had been worried sick about him. Like that one time Papyrus somehow got it in his skull to try climbing the wall of the cave. He had been trying to find him when he saw how far up his brother had been. He yelled up to him to come down, but that had unfortunately startled him enough for him to accidentally fall. He was okay afterwards, despite nearly breaking his bones from the fall.
      He continued telling stories, mostly about his brother, when Dream came back from a long day with the villagers. That was when the two had realized it was late. Geno went to his spot near the tree where his "bed" was and laid down, ready to fall asleep. Neither of them noticed how tired they were until they were in position for sleep. Nightmare stayed up a bit later telling Dream what Geno was telling him about. Geno was fine with it, he was glad to see the normally reserved skeleton being open with his brother, even though he thought he should tell Dream about how the villagers treated him. He promised he wouldn't say anything, though, and knew it was up to Nightmare to tell him.
      He fell asleep soon after, and the brothers eventually fell asleep. Dream was happy for his brother, he hadn't seen him this happy in a while. He doesn't know what caused it, but he did notice that Nightmare seemed upset about something. He had asked him if something happened, but he never told him what happened. He doesn't push for the answers, though, opting to let his brother tell him in his own time.
      Later in the night, Nightmare woke again to the sound of whines and muffled sobs. He knew the source of the noise before he even looked around. He had noticed that Geno had very rough nightmares, and him being a light sleeper, had always woken up after the other woke up from them. He isn't mad at the other, he knows that he can't control when his nightmares come or how bad they get, and he certainly isn't mad at Geno for being a light sleeper. He went over once again, as these nightmares have happened every night since that first time. Sometimes he didn't know where he was, and other times he thought that there was someone or something that was a threat to him. He's already learned to carefully bring him back to reality, and he had been lucky to have not unintentionally set him off in his fragile state of mind. He knew one wrong move would have him summoning that "gaster blaster" thing he told him about, and that could have led to either him getting injured, or unintentionally damaging the tree.
     He slowly walked up to Geno, being careful not to move in any way that could be interpreted as a threat. As he moved in Geno's line of sight, Geno's sole eyelight locked on him. It took a bit, but his eyelight went from hazy to focused, and he relaxed a bit. "Another nightmare?" Geno nodded, slowly releasing the tension in his joints and trying to take deep breaths. Nightmare sat by him again, and took deep breaths to help him imitate his rhythm of breathing. Once Geno had calmed down fully, he thanked Nightmare for helping. "Sorry if I woke you up again, I really don't like that I'm keeping you up at random hours of the night." "I really don't mind, you're really not bothering me with it, I'd much rather you be okay than keeping an hour or two of sleep. These nightmares won't leave you alone, huh?"
     "...Unfortunately, no." "I figure the answer is no, but, do you want to talk about it? I won't push if not." Geno almost said no, but he hesitated. Did he trust the other enough to tell him about his nightmares? He's only known him for a few days, yet why does he seem to want to tell him? Is it from all that time alone, and now he can't help but think he can trust him with more personal stuff. The thing is, he's not as against the idea as he would've been, the problem he has is that it's too much for the other. The last thing he wants is to scare him, he's been through enough. He doesn't need to deal with his issues, too.
    "You don't have to if you don't want to, you know? I had just thought I'd ask in case you did. I really don't mind if you don't want to tell me-" "I do want to tell you." Nightmare blinked in surprise, "You do?" Geno nods, "Yeah, but I also don't want you to have to deal with my issues. It's bad enough that I wake you up in the middle of the night." Nightmare placed a hand on Geno's shoulder, "Hey, I told you, I don't mind at all. I may have been bothered by it if you were someone I didn't know or trust, but, despite how little we know about each other, you were the first person to stand up for me. Especially when you didn't have to."
      "I couldn't just watch you get hurt, I would be just as bad as those villagers if I did. I... suppose I can tell you some of it." "You don't have to push yourself to do it, you know? If you're not ready to tell me, you don't have to." "I know, but I think it might help if I talk about it a bit." "Okay, whenever you're ready, I'll listen." Geno nodded, took a few deep breaths, and started telling him what happens in his nightmares. "My nightmares aren't always the same, but the one I had tonight was like I had woken up back to the place I was in before I got here. It, wasn't very good for sanity, but it was the only place I could be without me dying. I know you were wondering why my clothes appeared to be stained with blood, and the reason why was because I was bleeding.
     "I had sustained a severe injury that was going to kill me, but I made it to that place before I could die. The only drawback to that was that my injury stayed the same, it didn't heal, but it didn't get worse, either. My nightmare was that I woke up there as if I never left. I wouldn't be able to see the stars, or interact with anyone else, or have met you and your brother. I would have been completely alone. I had gotten used to being alone, but now that I'm free of that place, I don't want to go back."
      Nightmare rubbed his back, offering comfort as he noticed that Geno was shaking. He was glad the other had trusted him enough to talk to him about it. "Thank you for trusting me about some of what happens in your nightmares." Geno took a shaky breath, he didn't realize how tense he was while telling him. He surprisingly felt better after talking about his nightmare, he hadn't actually expected it to work. He briefly considered telling Nightmare about other nightmares, but decided against it. He told him enough for one night, and he was feeling tired now. "Thank you for listening, that actually helped I think."
     "It's no problem, really. I'm glad it helped. Are you good to go back to sleep, or are you up for more stargazing?" Geno almost just went with going back to sleep, but decided that stargazing is a good way to fall asleep. "What about stargazing until we fall asleep?" "That's a good idea, actually. Alright, let's do that." They laid down and watched the stars for a while before Nightmare fell asleep. Geno put the blanket on the both of them and fell asleep soon after. He already knew that he was going to wake up being in a cuddle position, it's happened enough times in the last few days, though not back-to-back. He's still a bit embarrassed by it, and judging by the face of the other, he also was embarrassed, but he's somewhat used to it now. Even if it gets a bit awkward. Dream sure has fun teasing Nightmare about it, and has started teasing him too. He had no more nightmares that night.
Here it is! @jann-the-bean @bluepalleteuniverse @shinechermont @zu-is-here
I had taken a bit of a break from writing this when I first started on this chapter. I had realized I had a bit of a burnout with Aftermare after Aftermare Week, so didn't push myself to write it out. I got back to it about a week ago after two weeks of no writing. I'm glad i did.
(Also sorry Jann for making the list of things you have to catch up with longer XD)
Geno belongs to @loverofpiggies
Dream and Nightmare belong to @jokublog

A Little Big Dance
As Ink searched the AUs of his Multiverse for trouble, he came across a little rumor. Well, actually it was a HUGE rumor, one that exploded in the millions of AUs seemingly overnight. Ink was interested, not only because the rumor was of a concert, but because of the person hosting it. Some strange being from another Multiverse, and that was where the rumor seemed to get unstable. No name, no description, no age, no nothing. Just someone.
He entered the Omega Timeline, despite his hatred for white, but instead of focusing on that accursed color, he couldn't help but listen to the gossip and pause, amazed at how consistent the information was. He shook his head, continuing his search for the one being who could help him figure out maybe a sliver of information that was 100% true, not just the unreliable gossip he would have to sift through without them. He passed Sans after Frisk after Papyrus after King and Queen, but he just could not find that damned-
Oh. There they were. The gray and black child was standing in a crowd of shouting and... angry, Ink decided, monsters and humans. They didn't chant any mantras as one would expect, but they all were shouting something. Ink took his time winding through the aggressive group, taking care not to hurt anyone despite having to shove his way into the center. "O-oh, thank the HEAVENS you're here Ink!" Core gasped, their hollow eyes creasing in utter relief as Ink popped into the small circle Core was trapped in. Ink smiled, happy to see Core.
"Yeah, well I'm glad I found you, because as life has it I've got a question." Some people where daring to try to yank Ink away from Core, to which Ink slapped their hands and claws away, glaring threateningly at them, to which they sourly shouted and yelled in response. "Ok, nevermind, three questions. Three." Ink raised his voice a little, doubting Core could hear him if he were to speak normally.
Core smiled patiently. "Alright. Could you take care of my little, um, predicament first?" Ink chuckled, unsheathing his handy dandy brush, making a portal in front of them. Core jumped in first, Ink following them, closing the portal before any ticked people managed to stampede on over in the AU. Speaking of which, it was the beloved OuterTale, one of the more popular AUs among the Multiverse. Ink could understand as to why though, since OuterTale was beautiful and calming. Core sighed, sitting down on the small floating island rock. Ink sat down beside them, his eye lights flickering with relief and curiosity.
"First question, what the heck was their problem?" Ink asked, genuinely sounding frustrated for once, albeit mildly. Core sighed yet again, cupping their forehead in their small hands, looking and sounding defeated. "Because of a rumor that I have been looking into, that group is particularly angry with the fact that we are just letting someone in our Multiverse that we don't even know for a concert we can't be sure even exists. I'm feeling... impatient, and I hate it," Core explained.
Ink was surprised yet again. Core, one of the most patient people Ink has ever met, was getting impatient now. All because of some concert. Ink couldn't lie, he wanted to go to that concert if it really existed, but he didn't know if it was dangerous, and he knew nothing about the other Multiverse that this proclaimed person is said to have originated.
Ink took a deep breath, looked over at Core, and asked sternly, almost barking out an order. "Can you get me all information about this concert and deliver it to the HQ tomorrow?" Core nodded, sensing the order. "I'll get it done in a giffy."
"Core. Since when did you not get a panic attack after being in a crowd for so long?"
~~~[]~~~
Dream heard about the rumor from DanceTale. As far as music and culture went, DanceTale was Dream's favorite place to be if he wanted to escape the stresses of being a "Star Sans". However it seemed that this time there was a new pressure, one huge thing taking the place by storm. What caught Dream's attention at first and even now was the sheer volume of people talking about the concert. Dream had to ask, what was the big deal? Why in the stars were to many people wanting to go?
He jogged over to this universe's Sans, who was stretching for what seemed like training. "heya dream," he greeted, smiling at the positive aura. Dream grinned, "Nice to see you Dance. I have a question, if that's not too much to ask." Dance chuckled at the most likely unintentional and stupid pun, but replied, "shoot for it dude."
"What can you tell me about this multiversal concert? I'm afraid I'm terribly uninformed, haha." Dream smiled patiently, awaiting an answer as Dance took a moment to think. Dance tapped his jaw in thought. "the only thing that i can say for sure is that whatever this is is hosted by someone not from this multiverse. no idea who though. maybe ink can tell you more?" Dream thought for a moment, dumbfounded in a way. How could Dream forget? Ink was probably all over it by now! "Oh my stars Dance, I can't believe I never thought of that before! I'll ask him right away! Thanks for the pointer, I owe ya one." Dance chuckled as Dream jumped away into another AU. Dance blushed mildly. Dream was so amazing, so positive. He'd never remember a copy like Dance for long, never in a milennia.
Dance went back to stretching, turning on the radio. People talking about the concert left and right, gossip and rumors running rampant. Dance wanted nothing more than a solid time and place, but no one talked about that. No one.
Dream landed in OuterTale, of course. Either Ink was here or in the Doodle Sphere. He never went into the Omega Timeline unless there was an emergency, and if there was an emergency he would have called Dream and Blue. But the was no call, not a word from Ink. He wouldn't risk panicking in public, right..?
Well, whatever the case, Dream found Ink talking to... Core Frisk... on a remote island in the middle of nowhere. Dream didn't like Core all that much, although he'd never admit it. It unnerves Dream that he can never sense any emotion coming from the little human, which both annoys him and worries him. Were they bottling it up or could they even feel? Why do they look like they should feel hollow? Do they feel hollow? So many questions ran through Dream's skull every time he saw Core.
Nonetheless, Dream ushered over to them, in hearing range as he heard a sentence come from Ink, who was facing away from Dream. "Since when did you not get a panic attack after being in a crowd for so long?" Dream froze, ducking behind a large boulder. What? Panic attack? Did Core have claustrophobia or haphephobia or something? Why would they-
"And why didn't you freak out after being in a place that's practically only white?" Core shot back, sounding uncharacteristic. Dream flinched. Did they go in the AntiVoid? No, there are no crowds there. The Omega Timeline? But Ink didn't call the others... didn't call Dream.
"Well in my defense I was a little preoccupied with that rumor. It's interesting but I'm worried and I don't want anyone to go just in case it's a trap plus I don't know when or where it's supposed to be-" "You're rambling." "Sorry, but you get me right?" Core nodded. "The Protector's job, I know. I think the consert will be a good idea though, you need to unwind with people, not just drawing." Ink flustered at that, feeling embarrassed about drawing, plus Core mentioning it. "Yeah yeah..."
"But it's not just about me," Ink sighed. "If the Dark Sanses go there and start a riot..." Dream blinked, suddenly feeling guilty. How could he have forgotten that? Dream suddenly became aware of the strong negative emotions coming from not only himself, but from the two in front of him. It hurt, and he couldn't just ignore it like normal. Ink was stressed and worried out of his mind, Core was... Dream paused in realization. He could sense Core! His demeanor immediately improved, reducing the pain.
"Funny how someone's pain could make the God of Positivity feel so good," a baritone voice chuckled in the space. Ink and Core froze, Dream brandished his bow and arrow, ready for an attack, still hidden from Ink's view. Damn you Nightmare! Dream growled in his mind.
"God of... DREAM WHAT THE FREAK." Ink's voice went from mildly confused to surprisingly ticked real fast. Dream jumped out from his cover, sliding over to Ink, who was now standing protectively over Core with his brush in hand. Dream scowled. "I'll explain later," he mumbled. "You'd better."
Nightmare materialized right before their eyes, from a shadow of course. The tall goopy skeleton walked leisurely over to the small group. His eye was devoid of emotion as always, his posture relaxed and nonthreatening if it weren't for the long powerful tentacles twitching on his back. The King of Negativity stood about two meters away, showing no signs of aggression, but no sign of backing down. His grin was as sharp and as cruel as ever.
"Go back to where you came, Nightmare," Ink hissed, his eye lights flaring in a dangerous maroon. Nightmare put his clawed phalanges up, as if he were caught by the nonexistent police force. "Hey, hey, chill. Just need to ask a favor." Dream glared, but Ink had to hold in a fit of laughter. "Why would we help?" Nightmare shrugged, putting his hands back in his pockets. "I heard a little rumor, and I want more info."
Ink rolled his eyes, not buying the story. "Why does this even concern you?" Ink jabbed, getting angry and hoping to make Nightmare uncomfortable. It... didn't work. Nightmare fed off of the negative energy, cocking a brow. "Uh... rude? I just wanna know." Dream sighed, letting in. Why oh why was he so weak when it came to his brother?
"We don't know much, just about the concert and nothing much else," Dream answered truthfully. Ink stared daggers at Dream, as he growled, "Dream.." Dream put his bow and arrow away, looking back at Ink, and replied with a sassy monotone nod, "Ink."
Nightmare rolled his eye light at the display. It was familiar, but he'd never admit it. His gang made similar interactions, quite often. But it was a confirmation that Dream released some true information, at least. Nightmare opened a portal, to which Killer and Cross came out, carrying...
"BLUE!" Ink and Dream shouted simultaneously. Killer glanced at the two, stating, "Attack us and we won't hesitate to kill Blue." Ink huffed, as Core whispered something to Ink. Ink nodded, making a portal and then sticking his brush back on his back. Core jumped in the portal and disappeared.
Killer and Cross untied Blue quickly, starting to get uncomfortable being around all three Star Sanses at once. Blue gasped as they undid the rope around his mouth. "You could have made it a bit looser!" Killer smirked, chuckling. "And risk you getting out? Fat fucking chance." Killer took out his knife, to which Ink had to resist the urge to smash Killer's skull in the ground, and Killer cut the rest of the rope off. Blue stood up, brushing himself off. He walked cautiously back over to Ink and Dream, to which Ink just stared open mouthed at the three Dark Sanses. "Why did you kidnap Blue if you didn't even threaten us?!" Ink screeched.
Nightmare grinned. "Backup plan." All six went back to their respective HQs. And Core? They were scribbling every rumor down, in every timeline, trying to find a constant or a source, and it would take a long time before either side would find much else out about this concert and it's host. Or, as the constant says, the hostess.
Dust:
In this multiverse, Sans kept facing the kid. Kept facing their unstoppable killing spree.
He wishes he could do something, stop them somehow. [Any way would do. But .... Could he really kill his family himself? No he couldn't that'd be too much for him. He couldn't do that to them....]
And so, Sans stayed, watching. Trying his best for a reset to never happen again, and always failing. Plagued by the idea of ending it finally, by becoming as much of a monster as the kid was. [Maybe one day he'd break and accept it.... No, it would only make him the next kid.... He couldn't do it.]
And so, the torture continued over and over. For all monsters in the underground, for the bored crazy kid, for the player, for Sans.
The dust kept spilling, and the blood never once did, not for good...
Killer:
Time and time over again.
They asked the same thing.
"Join me Sans, let's kill them all together."
And he always answered the same thing.
"In your dreams."
As he died. Again and again.
[Did he had any ounce of sanity left?]
He didn't know.
[Death... Felt nice. Maybe he COULD do something in the end?... Maybe at some point the kid would get bored enough?
Death.... It's peaceful...]
Sans could feel it behind his back, it was... waiting for him. It was constantly with him, plaguing his mind and life.
[Maybe... I was always meant to end it?...]
As time went on and on, Sans found ropes and knots to be fascinating, his bones to be fun to break, his remaining HP to be the only problem remaining in his life.
And the kid wasn't bored anymore.
Because with each reset, Sans found new interesting ways to kill himself. Over and over again. Hanging seemed to be his personal favourite. It was far more interesting than killing everyone themsleves.... But Sans would never stop trying to die, insanity and self-harm being his new life.
"How fascinating...."They would always say.
Horror:
[His head hurt. Ever since the fish lady broke it so badly. He had babbled an idea that had crosses his mind, out of desperation. But never did he thought it would be adopted.
Humans were rare after all, and it was all kinds of wrong to eat them....
But everyone said they had no other choices..... Maybe, but their violence was a choice. Horror wouldn't say he didn't like it. He loved the violence. But the humans... He didn't like to be on the receiving end of violence so they probably didn't either....
Yet his soul ached, ached for substenance. What was he to do? He didn't want to die... But he couldn't accept to eat humans.
His body became more dust than bones each passing days. His gaping home had doubled in size and his soul hurt. It hurt so bad.... Papyrus was upset, he couldn't let his brother see him die. So he was out here in the cold snow, slowly decomposing into nothing useful or annoying. Maybe it wasn't such a bad death?...]
This were his last thoughts as he died slowly, painfully. His soul wasn't able go substain itself anymore. He was falling appart.
His brother grieved him for long, but he had to carry on. Finding more human to be the food provider of the town. He was becoming a hero! But he didn't cared anymore.... He lost his brother. The only thing dear to him... But it was all the human's fault for trapping them down here with no food. And Papyrus made sure they payed. Each time he captured one. The tortures would be endless. All for his brother. All in hope that no other monster would die like his brother had.
Nightmare:
[He hadn't meant to do this!! He didn't knew the apples would be corrupted if he took one in his hands!! I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry..... He didn't knew what else to do, they were all circling him, angry, enraged.... He didn't want to die!!... The apples could give him the strength to flee, to be safe from them.... But.... But could he do it? It wasn't a good idea they always forbidden everyone to have more than one apple otherwise they'd die.... But........ He was in danger..... What was he to do?...... No he couldn't eat the apples that'd be a bad thing to do and... He wasn't bad.... He wasn't the monster they all said he was....]
The villagers kept closing in on Nightmare as he let go of the apple which fell to the ground. The torches burnt him and the forks hurt him. But it was too late to do anything now. And in one final moment, his body gave up. And his essence was burnt so badly it dispersed everywhere along with his dust, leaving no trace left of the so called. "demon".
But the villagers hadn't finished. Not yet at least. And they tried to cut down half of the tree.
Dream was there, he saw them kill his twin right before his eyes. And he couldn't help but feel ressenment. And when they tried to cut down the tree, he was there to save two last apples when the tree withered away. A golden and a black one. He kept them close to heart, each day, travelling form AU to AU... But never once did he feel better about what they did to his dear brother.... He couldn't truly help anyone. And positivity was slowly dissapearing as he saw less and less hope in others. So much violence.... And for what? Nothing... His brother never deserved any of it.... But he wasn't there to save him either.... And guilt and sadness ate away at him every single day. If this kept going on, positivity would be no more.....
Error:
He was alone in this strange white place. He didn't know where he was, he didn't know who he was.... But the voices always had unpleasant answers to his questions.... He called for help, so many times. And his body had completly changed.
Maybe someone would come? Eventually?... No he had lost all hope.... He knew they were out there, but he couldn't go there. There wasn't place for him..... This endless white void was all he had now...... It hurt.... But ... It always hurted less when his body was hurt. Besides it was something to do like anything else.... Bones were so fragile yet so easy to break.... His eye sockets felt weird, like there was something inside just waiting to be let out. But it never did. His black cheeks hurt from crying so much too.... But he was left to rot here... Forever alone.
Cross:
He was... Alone now.... He had lost them all.... They were all gone... All but him and the kid.... Both unable to live without the other..... What were they to do now? The weird other him had came along for a while, telling him about the exterior and his grieving friend, Dream.... But him too dissapeared....him too left..... It hurt, he felt like his soul was about to implose. He had lost everything! His brother.... The greatest coolest skeleton in the universe.... He had died too... Why? Why? WHY!? Why had they been the only ones to survive!? Why were they so cursed!?...
Fate wasn't happy. Their little experiment for a destroyer of world failed miserably. But the universe needed a balance and quickly. The universes were collapsing onto one another and cracks could be seen everywhere....
It was at this moment that Fate noticed another boy, without a world. Almost alone. Maybe... Just maybe there was still hope left. Yes. This boy would be perfect for the job. And he will do it that he likes it or not!
And so, Fate gifted Cross with the strings and power to eradicate. And slowly was getting him to use them....
The multiverse was saved. But.... Couldn't it have been ended much much better?...
