i wonder what my old professor thinks about twitch
#she taught a class called pop culture and power and some of the other best college courses ive ever taken#it was like. the kind of discourse we were all trying to have on tumblr in 2014 but with actual academic integrity lol#i wrote soooooo many essays for her classes about livestreaming and digital affective labor...and those were just about twitter and insta#the ESSAYS i would write about twitch if i were taking her class again.#last night i saw someone livestreaming a first date. just now i stumbled on a stream that is in its 43rd hour#and the host of the stream is just sleeping. the camera is pointed at a bed where the person is fully asleep. katy perry wishes
