Fever Whump

Racing heartbeat that lasts for hours and gets worse when Whumpee lies down making them think they’re going to fucking die

Feeling uncomfortably hot and sweaty at every point of contact between themself and the bed, and being unable to get comfortable because of this

Getting a fever because they fell asleep in a blanket that’s too heavy to escape the chills

Whumpee needs to get something from another room; but nausea is making it impossible to sit up. Whumpee resorts to gradually sliding off the bed without lifting their head, lowering themself to the floor, and crawling over there.

Rotating their body around the bed in various configurations like the minute hand on a clock face because they’re so uncomfortable

Looking back and remembering the precise moment they were infected
