do you think elijah would have fallen for bonnie if she ended up with one of his siblings?
i assume you're asking because he was into hayley after she slept with klaus but she was never in a relationship with klaus. they had a one night stand. elijah's white knight ass just liked being the protector in that situation. we have never seen elijah fall for someone who was in an actual, genuine relationship with any of his siblings, whereas klaus and rebekah's codependent weird asses have done all types of weird shit.
elijah's irritating ass attitude towards his siblings' relationships are often dismissive, when he acknowledges them at all. if she's dating kol, she's just ignored until he needs her, because so is kol. if she's dating rebekah, she has the best chance of being treated well. if she's dating klaus, it depends on how he feels about klaus at the moment.
besides that, bonnie has historically been a nonfactor for elijah. he betrayed them and never said shit to her about it. he got her mother killed and wrote an apology letter to elena. as much as it's about elena is the protagonist, elijah literally did not care about anyone in the mystic falls gang besides her (not that i would expect him to?) whereas other characters have expressed an interest in at least one or two other members of the mfg while tormenting or helping them. not bonnie, not caroline, not the salvatores, not alaric, etc. i don't think her being an active part of his siblings' lives is going to change that if her being someone who tried to kill them, and came close to it, wouldn't.
if it's the scenario that bonnie is pregnant by klaus instead of hayley, i still don't think he's going to fall in love with her because he isn't going to get to play protector or have her thinking he can be her savior. bonnie doesn't need him, and more importantly, would not rely on him. if she had to rely on any mikaelson, it would be rebekah or klaus (begrudgingly). his focus would be on the baby, which would rub bonnie the wrong way, which would mean they would be even more distant than anything.
if their individual relationship became anything, it would be allies and maybe friends down the way once he starts treating her like her own person and not someone who can do something for klaus (and ergo, the family).

☆ closed starter for @pristinaluna.
It’d been almost embarrassing how much she’d been looking forward to this night. Her more-often-than-not dull life, the one full with dinners with her husband’s future bosses where she was expected to smile and not really eat, new books on her bedside table every week and zero recent casting calls, suddenly seemed to have a purpose. Something that kept her going through the week; that was meaningful. So Jennifer was grateful for the force she’d found in the idea of seeking revenge, of setting karma in motion with her own manicured hands, and she was especially thankful for the man that was now taking the seat she’d been saving for him at the dark, secluded bar. The one who’d understood her and laughed along with her disgraces instead of judging her or looking at her with pity in his eyes. Elijah, her husband’s brother. That last epithet was something a couple glasses of wine always could help her to forget, all because she really needed an ally. “So, I did it.” The blonde mentioned in lieu of ‘hello’, voice ominous as she leaned a bit closer to the brunette. “Killed him, buried him in your family's garden. Figured there’d be something poetic about it.” And there would be, they’d gotten married in that place after all. Back in a time where she’d believed in the shiny promises her husband had whispered to her in a movie set. But, of course, she couldn’t keep her current act for long, a soft laugh slipping past red lips. “Alright, I didn’t do that. But I did accidentally forget to take out one of my pink pyjamas before throwing all his white clothes on the washing machine. How silly of me, just on the day he had that big important meeting.” It was small, perhaps something most people would easily catalogue as an honest mistake. But nothing had made her happier in ages.

She was never awake.
When she came down into this little body, this just-forming little body, it was asleep, so all she ever knew was dreaming. She only ever dreamed. She didn't even have a name.
And then in her sleep, that perfect little spirit just lifted up.
Because God didn't send her to suffer through life on Earth. No.
This one? This special little soul... God just sent her down here to sleep.
Just a little nap. A quick dream.
And then He called her back, He wanted her back. And so she went back.
Same as she floated down, she rose up above the Earth. Past all the souls in the atmosphere and all the stars in the sky and then into a light so bright...
And then, for the first time, she starts to wake up.
She's wrapped in a feeling of love. Just pure, amazing love. Of course she is. She's pure.
She has never sinned.
She never hurt a single living thing, not even an ant.
And she's not alone, she's home. There are people there, she doesn't know it, but they're her family, her grandfather and her great-grandfather, and they love her. And they name her.
And when God reaches down and kisses her head and the second He says her name, she grows up. In a blink. And she's perfect.
Her body as it would have been on her best day on Earth. Her perfect age. The peak of herself.
And they tell her about her mom down here on Earth, and how I'll be there soon enough.
And she's happy. And nothing but joy for all eternity. And she's loved. And she isn't alone.
And that's what we mean when we say heaven. No mansions, no rivers of diamonds, or fluffy clouds or angel wings. You are loved. And you aren't alone.
That is God. That is Heaven. That's why we endure all that we endure on this... big, blue, sad, rock.
I'll be there soon enough. And I'll see my father. And my grandmother. And I'll see my little girl, and she will be happy and safe. And I will be so glad to meet her.

So, Moses is a cleric, Solomon is a wizard, Joshua is a paladin, David is a bard, Jesus is a sorcerer, his apostles and Paul are warlocks, Elisha is a druid, Elijah is a monk, Samson is a barbarian, Tahkemonite along with Eleazar and Dodo are fighters, John the Baptist is a ranger, Jacob is a rogue
I'm really cautious about using DnD terms to describe nuanced historical metaphysics like this. DnD's cosmology is a mess. I don't know how it works because the writers don't know how it works. It's very easy for readers to come away with the wrong impression, and tbh it often comes off with this corny-ass "hello fellow kids did you know the Buddha was literally a hecking druid" type energy.
I wanna stress: This is fun to think about, but please don't treat this as meaningful analysis of real-world religions. I wanna demonstrate how quickly these terms break down when you're looking at actual historical metaphysics.
If we wanted to analyze biblical characters with DnD terms, every Charismatic Jewish Holy Man would be classified as a warlock. Moses is not a nebulous intermediary between gods and mortals. The man famously had a covenant. The whole covenant thing is a pretty important part of Judaism. But then again, that brings up problems for what the destruction of the first temple would mean for the classification of Judaism. Does the development of the rabbinical system suddenly turn everyone from warlocks into clerics? Within Judaism, the word of God is the law under-girding the whole of the world, including nature. Does that make every Rabbi a druid?
Jesus certainly wouldn't be a sorcerer, hes just a God. His power isn't hereditary, he is literally God. Calling Christ a sorcerer would be heresy.
Solomon is a wizard. The DnD wizard archetype is quite literally based on the biblical character of Solomon.
Samson is kinda a paladin? I'm not entirely sure what he would be classified as.
The Apostles are tricky, because their classification would probably change as the doctrine developed. Initially they would probably be classified as warlocks who "inherited" the laws and works of the new covenant with God, which is warlock metaphysics. But, several of them were kinda in charge of writing the new laws of the covenant, which I guess would be cleric metaphysics. Several of them also have priestly vows, which is paladin metaphysics.
John the Baptist is the only one on this list who could be considered a DnD Druid. Baptism as a rite probably has non-jewish pre-christian roots. I guess its the closest thing Christian metaphysics has to "nature magic." But my even suggesting that the power of baptism stems from a source other than God would be heresy.

steve rogers and elijah mikaelson
Some of y'all are determined to make me figure out how TVDU characters can fit in the Marvel world. Honestly, I think this is a very aesthetically pleasing couple to my eyes and I'd probably ship it for that reason alone. But thinking about it more, I think it would be hella interesting to see Nomad!Steve turning to the Mikaelsons (Elijah in particular) for help after the events of Civil War. After they break everyone out of the Raft, they need to go to ground, right? Elijah's been keeping an eye on the news regarding the Sokovia Accords because, well, there are a lot of political ramifications to that and he's in a position to take advantage. But then he hears about Steve and his refusal to sign, and that's the first time he sees Steve as something more than the "Star-Spangled Man" who just does whatever the government does, but rather a man with just as strong convictions as Elijah does, which does a lot to sway him. And there'd be a delicious mistrust between them, but also begrudgingly working together, Elijah being a smarmy bastard. It's got potential for SURE
