 It’s been four months since Ava’s been back, yet she’s still not used to waking up in pain.

 It’s disheartening, to open her eyes every morning and feel the first ache of the day. Like each night might magically make everything go away.

 She can still remember waking up in the morning, twelve years old and forgetting she was paralyzed. She never was in her dreams. She could run, jump, swim, sometimes even fly. She’d dream of playing with kids who had no faces. Riding on bikes and climbing on jungle gyms - laughing and being a child.

 She would wake up each day and for thirty seconds or so, she was still that little girl in her dreams. Happy, healthy and able to do whatever she wanted.

 Then the room would suddenly become familiar and she couldn’t reach up to wipe the sleep from her eyes.

 So many mornings were spent crying. Trying to stay as quiet as she could. So she didn't wake her roommate, so she didn’t get any of the nun’s attention. They would never offer her pity - no. She was lucky, according to them. Fortunate to have their time at all - to have anyone putting in any effort to keep her alive.

 She would cry, then turn her head to brush her cheeks on the pillows and dry her tears.

 If any of them ever noticed how red her eyes were on those mornings, they never said anything.

 Now, she’s here and she isn’t paralyzed, but her body is still not right. It’s different and somehow entirely the same.

 That same thirty seconds exists where she’s okay, before reality sets in and another hard day lies ahead of her.

 At least here she can move, and it isn’t Sister Frances waiting for her each morning.

 Instead, it’s Bea, who is already out of bed and shuffling through their apartment.

okay after spending the past 2 hours exclusively reblogging from tags WITHOUT turning on any content filters, here are my findings:

number of terrible, psychic damage dealing takes spotted: 0 number of beautiful new mutuals gained: 2 number of incredible fanworks i would never have seen if i hadn't specifically sought them out instead of relying on people i follow to do it for me: 18

i hope this proves my point, if you only rely on your following tab to deliver posts to you you're only going to see what's popular in your little circle. that's why posts seem to only circulate amongst mutuals and it's hard to "break containment". it really isn't reasonable to expect non-mutuals to reblog your stuff if you're unwilling to reciprocate and step outside your bubble. being part of the solution is a group effort!

TBH the best case scenarios in my mind for Fit's lore ending on Thursday are either:

Madagio has mercy. They know what it's like to lose everyone they love, and seeing what's happening on Quesadilla Island is just a reminder of everything they loved and lost. Madagio releases Fit, and he reunites with Pac e Mike and Richarlyson, and they're all able to leave Quesadilla Island.

Or:

Madagio and Fit destroy the Federation together. Fit goes full 2B2T mode and there's nothing left of the Federation once they're finished. Madagio and Fit finally have their revenge. (And then maybe Fit can reunite with Pac + all his loved ones and they escape the Island, or reclaim the island for their own since the Federation no longer has any power over them).

Bonus: A very unlikely but "Wouldn't it be fun?" scenario would be Pac and Mike flying down on a fully-grown dragon Richas and rescuing Fit from Vacuus Island and they fly away and live happily ever after.

i haven't written anything since the last wip game i did, but i started trying to put diana's timeline together at the start of january, so i mean... i'll show that instead. as you can see, fatigue hasn't let me do much with it even though i've got all of her timeline already done and strewn about all over the place.

started with 1995 onwards cause it was originally going to be an ewskers timeline situation, but then wanted to include all of her backstory so i went back to the start and still have the late 80s and early 90s to get through before then, but yeah :]

it's going to include like all little moments i've thought of between the ewskers just for me and placing them on the timeline, so you can imagine how long this is going to get if i have to go to 2021 for village... like just 1996-1998 is going to be so much... she's very special to me if you couldn't tell already lmaoo

never sharing this though, it's just for me, and like will help for when i do her timeline page (more in-depth version of what's on her oc page) to just run through canon events and brief descriptions and whatnot. you understand.

everything is blurred out besides 1995 ewskers momence and the years, just cause like idk her i feel weird sharing her in-depth backstory unless it's in dms or something, just cause there's lots going on there and yeah. things. idk

actually, you know what, i'll give a lil bit from where i left of with that rewrite anyways, even though it's been months since i wrote it. but why not

She watched him from out of the corner of her eye as he hung it up on the rack by the door, his movements careful and almost calculated, until he turned back towards her, and the warmth of his body returned once more. He pressed up against her side this time, as opposed to her back, and one of his hands found a home on her waist. The way the arm it belonged to was resting firmly against her as he began leading her towards the kitchen was comforting, secure, yet unmistakably possessive. And she revelled in it. He had quite the knack for handling her just the way she wanted.
