Do I question myself? Of course I do....You must understand that it's not enough sometimes giving all your heart to an art piece. In fact, I have realized that the best pieces come out when my mind its not at work, and my heart feels brainless.�The contradiction occurs when the mind wants something, and it doesn't come to good terms with the heart.�Some art pieces become a challenge because the Artists know its not something that has been done before. The challenge is not to create what exists, but to create what doesn't exist. I have also realized that if it makes sense, I have failed myself on my creation; It is quiet complicated to be an Artist. I have come to understand that the less I use my mind, the more sense the final painting makes by becoming the one thing that never crossed my mind. An idea can be born by a simple conversation, a situation or even a need. This is how iARTsWALL was born. As an Artist, I consider myself both a creator and an entrepreneur. My nature as an Artist and Entrepreneur makes it difficult to see an opportunity and letting it slide. It was late November 2016, a month in which I always get a reality check. It was the month of my birthday; my 30th birthday to be more exact and the month in which my son also turned 4. During this month, I decided I wanted to start organizing Exhibitions to get the backstage experience and a better understanding of the Art Business. Throughout this experience, I started having questions I didn’t have before. What has been so special about other Legendary Artists such as Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Claude Monet, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Jackson Pollock, Frida Kaholo, Wassily Kandisnsky, Amadeo Modigliani and many more? What is the common characteristic these legendary Artists had? What are the chances of an Emerging Artist in 2017 to become a well established Artist while still being alive? It’s been said that an Artist only becomes famous after dying, however, that is an incorrect statement which we are used to hear. There are many successful and well established Artists, whom are recognized Internationally and still enjoy a very healthy and young life. An Artist will not succeed by following the steps of our past legends. Those Artist changed the way Art was seen while our society was going through many changes. Therefore, one must adapt and understand that the answer it’s not in history, but on our present; the answer is around us, and it’s eager to be explored. It is true that having the knowledge of history will help us understand that we Artist have many things in common. We are sensitive beings with the need to create and send a message with our own creation. We base our creation in both our experiences and current society’s circumstances. So, what are the challenges we Artists face today? In every area in which we want to succeed, the fact is that we are being challenged to explore our capacity of development and adaptation. One must know that today, Branding, Connections and Adaptation is everything. Success it’s not found only in the things we can do with our hand, it is rather found on the things we can do with our minds. Which brings me to the conclusion that no empire was born an empire, nor a well established Business was born as such. Just as no Artist was born an established Artist, but he/she is the result of a constant work in progress for development. Which brings me back to our discussion topic, “Branding iARTsWALL”. From an Art Collector perspective, we are an International Art Marketplace, and from an Artist perspective, we are an Artist Community. We are building a Brand that will bring to light the needs and possibilities an Artist can use to his/her advantage in every possible way. From an Online Stores, 3D Exhibitions, Online Contests, Social Media Challenges, International Exposure, Exhibitions, Social Media Promotion (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc…) Tools such us Certificates of Authenticity, Online Courses, Artist’s Newsletters with tips and useful information, Artist Portfolio, Listings for sale in Platforms such us eBay, Amazon, Google and Facebook and a Mobile App for both Art Collectors and Sellers.
