Σε ένα παγωμένο «βασίλειο» έχει μετατραπεί η πόλη Χαρμπίν στην βορειοανατολική Κίνα, που φιλοξενεί ένα από τα πιο διάσημα κι εντυπωσιακά φεστιβάλ πάγου, στο πλαίσιο του οποίου καλλιτέχνες κατασκευάζουν μια πόλη έκτασης 20 στρεμμάτων κυριολεκτικά φτιαγμένη από πάγο και η οποία αναμένεται να προσελκύσει εκατομμύρια επισκέπτες τους επόμενους μήνες. Η μέση θερμοκρασία τον Ιανουάριο είναι -20°C, όποτε μην ανησυχείτε αν κινδυνεύουν τα γλυπτά να λιώσουν! Το πρώτο Χειμερινό Φεστιβάλ πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Harbin το 1983 και από τότε έγινε το μεγαλύτερο του είδους του στον κόσμο. Παρά το ακραίο κλίμα της, η πιο βόρεια πόλη της Κίνας προσελκύει περισσότερους επισκέπτες κάθε χρόνο. Μπορείτε να φτάσετε εκεί μέσω του Πεκίνου. Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival, China. . . 🇧🇷 Harbin, no Extremo Oriente da China, é conhecida como a Cidade do Gelo. Foi um dos principais destaques da minha última viagem à China. A cidade é sede de diversos festivais de inverno. Merecem destaque o Harbin International Snow Sculpture Art Expo, um imenso parque com exposições de esculturas de neve, e o Harbin Ice & Snow Amusement World, um parque temático construído basicamente de blocos de gelo, que ficam iluminados à noite. É diversão garantida para adultos e crianças! No inverno, as temperaturas por lá podem alcançar até -30°C. Confesso que tive sorte e "só" peguei -20°C. Para falar a verdade, não senti tanto frio assim porque fui preparado, somente nas mãos quando ia tirar alguma foto. Mesmo com essa temperatura, as ruas de Harbin ficam lotadas de turistas, na sua maioria chineses. À noite, as pessoas se concentram na "Central Street", uma rua de pedestres com diversas lojas, restaurantes, shoppings centers e cafés. Nessa rua, o turista também pode ter uma amostra das esculturas de gelo. Harbin teve e tem uma forte influência russa, que pode ser percebida nos letreiros das lojas, nas músicas que tocam nas ruas, e até mesmo por chocolates com embalagens com os rostos do Putin e de outros personagens russos.
