If you're thinking "Wow he looks like a huge cunt" it's because he is. at some point in 2019, KW got kicked out by his partner for cheating on her with an influencer. they had 3 kids at that point. while they were "working on the relationship" he was also hooking up with a different influencer (from now on: the mistress) who got pregnant

kid #4 (with the mistress) was born in 2020. KW tried very hard to pass off the affair as a one-off and reportedly got back with his partner, in between throwing the aforementioned COVID sex parties and whatever.

KW and his partner got married early in 2022. later that year he picked up a groin injury, and while travelling in London to get treatment for his injured groin, he accidentally fell into bed with the mistress and got her pregnant again (this was his version, at least). he again says that this was a one-off.

I can't believe he only fucked this woman twice and got her pregnant both times, the second time barely months after his wedding. that's some A+ sperm Kyle

kid #5 (with the mistress) was born in August 2023. however, this time around he didn't openly acknowledge paternity, so the mistress started hinting on social media that her two kids had the same father

this led to a feud between mistress and wife, wherein the mistress obviously doesn't mind tabloid attention BUT also, like. she's using the tabloid press to remind the father of her children that he does in fact have other children. and the wife calls her an attention seeker who's destroying her family. IDK how to explain to these women that they should join forces and cut off KW's balls.

KID #6 was born in spring 2024. I have fuzzy recollections that the wife didn't know about the second love child on the way when she got pregnant for the fourth time, but also frankly I can't keep track.

She kicked him out again. He gave a super cringe worthy interview to The Sun where he called his wife his soulmate and basically called his kids with the mistress "mistakes" for which I truly believe someone should cut off his balls. these kids will be old enough to google themselves one day.

anyway. she took him back. he now has six children total, and I don't think he sees the ones with the mistress much, if at all. mistress & wife keep feuding on social media

in the middle of all this, it was reported that he had another mistress stashed somewhere. this was reported multiple times by various sources and it's probably true. idk where the fuck he finds the time

Originally I agreed with the idea that Haku is the spy but now my thoughts are beginning to shift. There’s that one campus scene where Leo mentions one of the “hook-up” spots being close to a “creepy forest.” “Creepy forest” could be in reference to Hotarubi or Obscura. Since you’ve shown us Haku’s higher affinity lines… I’m beginning to think he’s working w Alan, Towa, Taiga. Obviously Haku has connections with Towa. I feel like the scene of them encountering each other at the car junkyard could be read a few different ways. My first thought was that Towa was calling Haku a snake by mentioning the dodge viper. This could be a nod to Haku being a spy. But after reading the higher affinity lines, what if it was just him poking at Haku for leaving Frostheilm? Third thought was what if he’s trying to slyly say someone’s (Leo) listening in? Himbo Alan doesn’t seem to catch onto when Towa attempts to hint that someone’s eavesdropping but Haku would catch on. Any animosity between them could just be for show? It would explain why they’d still agree they’d need to chat. Also, why is Haku at the junkyard in the first place…? Meeting with Alan? Towa? Or someone else entirely? 🤔

Idk why but Haku as the spy or actually being suspicious never really stuck with me like. . .it genuinely felt too obvious. Look at him. This is a guy who looks like he's supposed to betray you. Especially when he helps you in the beginning.

Same with Tohma. Look at this guy. One of his voicelines is him offering to share his lunch with you then assuring you it's not poisoned. You aren't supposed to say that if you're not suspicious! His profile makes him sound suspicious!! He is WALKING SUSPICIOUS GUY.

Speaking of these two, knowing Haku is ex-frostheim. . .remember the gossiping frostheim girls in the beginning?

You think they're talking about Haku? If so, the "creepy forest" being Hotarubi might make sense(although Obscuary sounds more accurate for "creepy forest" given Hotarubi is a big traditional Japanese garden where it always rains, not a forest? I mean they probably have forests though so.)

Back on the subject of that campus chat, in Japanese what Tohma says is 「ここに、横車の取り扱いがあれば良かったのですが……」 something like "I wish they dealt with cars driven sideways here"--"sideways car"(横車) being a word meaning "stubbornness"--it's something like "pushing a cart from the side instead of the front(even though it's an unreasonable thing to do)". Which either means that Tohma suspects Haku(and that the aforementioned disgrace that had him go to Hotarubi was something suspicious or damaging despite that Tohma helped him run away from it--or perhaps he wasn't helping him run away but instead moving him somewhere safer for everyone) or that Haku's behavior did more harm than good, and he's poking fun at him for it despite that he helped him escape the trouble he caused by getting him into Hotarubi and taking his place as Frostheim VC. Not necessarily to say that Haku is suspicious, but that he's difficult, perhaps

But yeah, I think Haku's part of the "find the spy" team and Leo's inadvertently getting himself involved as well. But maybe I'm reading too much into how suspicious he is and it is, in fact, supposed to be obviously Haku and he's not a big ol red herring.

As for why Haku went behind Vagastrom. . .clearly it wasn't to meet with Tohma, but perhaps to meet with Alan? Maybe he really does like cars and it's a coincidence? Plus his interest is "going on walks" so he really may have just wandered over there by chance tbh. . . . Haku can see ghosts and spirits and things, so maybe he followed something Tohma wouldn't be able to see there and, rather than explaining, said it was about the cars? His profile says he cleans up after other students often, maybe he was helping somebody in Hotarubi who was too scared to go to Vagastrom? Or maybe Tohma's trying to keep him in the dark about things relating to the spy because Tohma suspects/distrusts Haku after what happened before he left Frostheim, and he's trying to be nosy?

all i have to say about the miraculous special aside from incoherent happy noises is that it's exactly like every fanfic i hold dear in that it felt so self-indulgent when it came to fun "what-if" scenarios and also really hit on like. actual fun character beats (okay turns out i have things to say, so here's a spoilery read more)

starting immediately with the alt theme song with gabriel was so inspired i had to immediately pause and lose my mind.

gabriel as a significantly better dude who is just failing to connect with his son during their very different grieving periods is legit so much more interesting than i expected from a "character morality flip" moment

alya and nino being still on the resistance team fills me with a lot of delight for so many reasons - character related, but also for the alt-universe actually not being a 'everyone is a different alignment' universe. the overall universe and characters perceptions of themselves or how they dealt with their grief is clearly completely altered for the ones we see changed. like... gabriel seems to have started off in a similar spot but the specifics of the universe meant he changed teams for the better. emilie seemingly dying much more suddenly and the general turmoil of the universe (and presumably not going to school with the other kids?) leading adrien to not process his grief in the same way. marinette never meeting alya and not finding the courage to stand up for herself without threats and power. damn...

betterfly is a stupid name and i love that. just remember that his name is just "butterfly" and not "hawkmoth" in french okay.

shadybug is also very silly but it's a pretty perfect alternative for 'toxinelle' and also so funny

the only knock i will give the episode is she changed her hairstyle at the end. shadybug's whole look was 10/10, she could have just shifted the colour scheme for the friendly vibe. i also think chat should have kept the green hair and maybe just gone with green eyes.

on cool outfits: the butterfly + ladybug combo looked gorgeous imo i will not argue on this

i was not expecting the episode to make me feel things but it was genuinely very sweet how both AU-duos got a mutual pep-talk. like this was a perfect time in s5 for it to be set - marinette's still struggling to find belief in herself and adrien is freaked out about what his power could do to someone, and his own self-control about that. and their chats with their alternate selves help them settle something (at least for now) in addition to helping the other!! their AU selves definitely have more to deal with given.. everything, but that's for another time im sure >:) i really do like that despite their Attitude they are just treated like kids with problems y'know? honestly i wish adrien had longer to talk about his grief cos i think that's a really valuable bit of telly for young'uns who've lost a parent y'know?

there's some #Logic you could do about identity reveals but honestly i do not care, because an actual fanfic where they're like "hey butterfly man if you told us who you were we could stop monarch way faster" and that resulting in some good!gabriel and chat/adrien chatting with him knowing who hawkmoth is like... ARGH. imagine. i feel like there's so many reasons he wouldn't want to expose his identity even to allies and we didn't need a scene where that was explained and i'll fight anyone who insists it's a ~cinema sins plothole ding~ that it didn't happen. if it's not in the show you get to fanfic it in many flavours. this is a WIN actually.

generally ive been so happy with season 5 and this just. ah. idk i was just very happy the entire time. im sure there'll be a lotta folks bemoaning this that and the other and that's fine! please have fun doing that cos i know people do but man mlb is to me my fun baby show for babies but season 5 feels like it went "what if this show was everything you already loved AND it gave you catharsis on like 30 different things on a show you've been watching since episode 4"

It comes and goes but I'm still extremely miserable and I don't even know how to treat my mom anymore because it sort of feels like a lost cause and she isn't even. Cognizant of the way she treats me. Like she literally doesn't recognize anything she's done and blames it all on "me over exaggerating and misinterpreting things" basically trying to gaslight me into never believing in myself

She finally had her teeth surgery where she had to get 7 pulled because of how horrible they've gotten over the years and she's like "hey look, I asked to take a picture to show my kids the dangers of not brushing my teeth a day they let me actually take them! Look how gross they were"

And I just. Kind of blink at her and say, again

"I don't even think I was 10 years old when you and that dentist lied to me. You literally told me I had 6 cavities and I was already a mentally ill kid with depression and when you told me I had cavities, as a lie, I thought everything was already over and done with and THAT was what made me stop trying to ever brush my teeth. I was already having problems with keeping any routines but when you lied to me and told me there was permanant damage, I thought it was already all hopeless and there wasn't any point, and that I would be dead before they got worse"

And without flinching she's just like "no that's not what happened"

And of course that makes me upset. "What do you mean 'no'? Dana I am literally telling you how I felt. I am telling you the lie you told me as a child made me feel like I had permanant damage. I am telling you MY FEELINGS. This isn't something you can argue over. You can't say 'no' to how I'm telling you how I felt. This isn't even a debate. You LIED to me, A LITTLE KID, and didn't tell me the truth until literally just within the last few years now that I'm in my mid 20s"

I'll never get any closure with her. She doesn't even know how to apologize genuinely. You know there was an incident with my sideblog a while back where I got contacted by a stranger and they were trying to I think romance scam me but, because I had trauma about displeasing people, I was, I don't even know, legitimately just chatting with him even as it scared me, even as it literally made my skin crawl, he was coming on to me but i didnt, idk, feel safe ending the conversation, and afterwards I needed support because i felt gross and weak and "oh my god why did i do that to myself, why did i keep talking to someone clearly dangerous just because i felt like i could make him mad or hurt his feelings or get myself in trouble, what if i really let someone hurt me someday because of something like this", and I posted on my blog "I bet if I told my mom about this the first thing she would do is blame me and I don't even feel like I could confide in her" and. That's exactly what happened. Literally the first thing out of her mouth was to blame it on me having these blogs where I talk to people. Literally, the first thing out of her mouth

You know. It's funny. I can recognize my behavior towards her is escalating. I don't like how the aggression is getting worse. I want to be better. I don't want to be a hateful person. I'm aware of what's happening to me.

But I'm also not self loathing enough to not be able to identify --and my research on personality disorders and how they interact with toxic family members only confirms-- that her direct treatment of me for all this years has only exacerbated whatever mental illneses I had and made so many things worse. I can literally pinpoint reasons for my behaviors. For example the other day I fished some slightly wrinkly shorts out of my laundry to wear to work. Our apartment shares only one washer dryer for 8 units of people and it's either never available or we can never have quarters so i reuse laundry a lot. Which is another of her excuses actually, becuase now that she's home literally 24/7 she's still not getting quarters from the bank when her previous excuse was how she was working and they're not open on weekends and closed by the time she gets off work.

But anyways my mother, unprompted "do you want these khakis I have in my room"

Strike one. I didn't ask for your help and there's nothing wrong with what im wearing and I also don't want anything from you. She is always giving me unwanted advice in my appearance and I have had many conversations with her before how I find that she comments on things that are completely unnecessary, like telling me as a little girl "oh put your ponytail higher, don't wear it lower LIKE A MAN" what????

"No I'm good I'll just wear these"

"Are you sure?"

Strike two. I just told you no. You know, that thing I have to do constantly.

"They're clean? Are you sure?"

Strike three. I raise my voice at her from the other room "oh my GOD I ALREADY TOLD YOU NO, RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE"

And that's me overreacting right? That's me being a bitch right? Except no, that's a direct result of me constantly having to assert myself over and over and her NEVER listening. Me having to say no I don't want highlights or dye in my hair for literally my entire life and her STILL saying it to this day. Her constantly telling me when I was in elementary school that I should be a doctor when I said over and over I didn't want to. She would literally badger me and my sister INTO PLUCKING HER CHIN HAIRS no I'm serious, she would badger her children to do a personal hygiene grooming task for her and then when I put my foot down and refused to do it, she lashes out and treated me like I was being a brat. I'm being a brat because I eventually didn't like having to spend like significant amounts of time doing something like that for her for a task she should be and could easily be doing herself?

That's the problem with my mom. She feels entitled to favors and help. Oh what's that's, you're behind on payments? Well they should try and work with her because she's struggling and if they don't it's their fault for being heartless and not her fault for not being able to pay. The amount of times she has outright asked companies to break their own policies and do her a favor by letting things slide is literal delusion. Oh sure, she'll ask "can you do me a favor" but you don't actually have an option because if you don't say yes, then it's "why not, it's just something small, come on, maybe I'm not feeling well, you should help your mom" and doing that for every. Single. Fucking. Thing.

I literally had my childhood stolen from me. It was TAKEM from me. I was physically abused by a man she married after knowing for only two months, and I had to be the one to tell her he was hitting me and my big sister because she didn't even know how bad it was. I would be screaming and crying and not wanting to go to his home for shared custody and she'd simply make excuses for why I couldn't go and then my sister developed a complex thinking I was moms favorite because mom never shielded her that same way (which I was becuase I was more subservient to her whereas my sister was more independent, therefore my mom subconsciously favored me as her little maid). My mom constantly lost or quit jobs and we had to move sometimes twice in the same year and I could never stay at the same school or have the same friends, which severely affected my social development and extremely hindered my education because all schools teach different curriculum.

And then it just became "oh Miranda is just a shitty moody teenager, oh Miranda just complains too much" and now that I'm an adult, the actual reality is "oh Miranda had a significant physical disability that she was born with" :"oh, Miranda had a personality disorder that literally takes specific targeted treatment to fix"

But my mom wants to look at me and tell me how I'm almost 27 and I need to grow up and "you've always been a bitter and hateful child"?

Yeah, because you made me that way. Yeah, because every single time I've tried to heal or gain closure or meet you in the middle on something bad that happened, she finds herself completely BLAMELESS. Yeah, because you spent so much time running to doctors for yourself that things that were significantly wrong with me got completely missed and ignored.

Yeah, I should not be outright cruel to my mother, but she doesn't deserve my respect anymore. I need to try and treat her in a calmer more neutral manner, but the days of being the daughter that rushes to do her favors to earn her love is over. Even me providing food and paying for the roof over our heads isn't even enough for her anymore because I'll be at work and I'll come home and it turned out she's just been binging on exclusively toast until an entire loaf that was supposed to be for sandiwches is gone because, why? She didn't feel like cooking the other things in the fridge and freezer, which includes leftovers of things shes made that she keepa forgetting about, and the second I, after working manual labor 40 hours a week, am finally standing at the stove where I almost NEVER cook bc I'm depressed and tired, standing there cooking cheap pasta, suddenly she's slithering into the kitchen "can you make me some too 🥺 I've barely eaten all day"

And I looked right at her and said

"We have food though? You can cook some for yourself."

I know this is a long post but there's also a new fear I've unlocked recently so I'll say this and then end things for now. My mom has always had a really shitty memory. You can literally bingewatch hours and hours of a show with her and then maybe not watch anything for a week and you come back and she needs reminders on everything that happened, main character's names, etc, and has been like this all her life. I was watching a video recently where they were talking about, the older a memory is, the more inaccurate its going to be because when you think on a memory, you remember less and less of it and your brain can fill in the gaps with false facts, UNLESS it wS a significant event and there were certain emotional associations with the memory

So...you can barely remember TV shoes or even conversations we have in the same week but you're absolutely positive over events that happened for you and me over 10, 15 years ago? You constantly whine about how your age makes you so feeble and forgetful, but when I bring up something that I have remembered and carried with me literally my entire life, suddenly no SHE is the only one who remembers "the truth" and her version of events leaves her oh so conveniently blameless?

I think... I think my mom is literally creating false memories as some sort of trauma coping mechanism or personality disorder and this has actually happened before? There was a time when she claimed a therapist of mine had been disrespectful in front of her or that my mom was present for specific conversations I had with this therapist and I was just AGAPE "M-mom you were never there? You were never there for the sessions I had with this therapist?"

But she was convinced. This was HER memory of feeling victimized and acting upon it. She was convinced and positive as if it was as simple as black and white. For something that definitely never happened. And she used that false memory as an excuse to not let me see that therapist anymore.

I just. I know I'm unhealthy and I have so many fucked up things in my head but maybe I can still fix myself and be normal? But my heart is breaking because I'm realizing, my mom will never apologize or give me closure for any, ANY of the things she's done for me, and I guess I realized this many years ago and was just living I'm denial that, maybe if I acted or did something different, it would "make things click" and she would magically understand how I felt

But it will never happen. So now I should try and focus on myself and take care of ONLY myself and the things I want to because, I already lost so many years being Mommy's Supportive Little Rock and mentally exhausting myself for her.

Long post is long but, I'm just, extremely depressed because my entire childhood and young adulthood is now gone and all it gave me was irreparable trauma and a terrible family that I love and hate with all of my heart and I am just constantly overcome with the overwhelmingly urge to just run away and disappear and never be heard from again

teenaged girls are so precious….i wish they could stay silly forever

these past couple of days i went back to teach outdoor ed at a camp i used to work at and i was with a group of grade 9-12 girls who travelled from australia to tour canada with their soccer and rugby teams. it was so a) refreshing to be back teaching and b) weirdly emotional to witness girls at that age just being girls, i can’t quite articulate how i’m feeling.

like i have no idea how to explain it without sounding weird. i just felt an affinity for them. they were classic teenage girls; annoyed they had to wear school uniforms, sassy and a bit moody, but overall really funny and vibrant as a group. they had no idea what they were coming into and i feel like they got too much flack for complaining, because in my opinion showing up to a place in the middle of nowhere, being told you’ve got no wifi or service, can’t buy your own food and have to sleep in an unheated cabin for two days would throw anyone off, but they were chill for the most part. i just loved chatting with them and watching them goof off, get into their activities, and come out of their shells….like last night two of them asked to duet a song on guitar so we expected them to sing, and then they start playing the guitar in tandem with one person strumming and the other on the chords. and they sang a kid kudi song. and earlier this older girl and her friends kept talking about her alter ego, cranda, who was crazy and threatened everyone’s life at archery. i asked where the name cranda came from and between fits of giggles she explained that it originally bated for coriander but the australian accent made it cranda. that made me genuinely laugh. at one lunch i sat with a group of seniors and we were eating soft tacos. this one girl had about nine, and she would only eat them by shoving them into her mouth whole and trying not to choke. the rest discussed how the first thing they were going to do when home is take a healthy shit. and idk just throughout the day we’d play games and some girls would be cheating and they’d be calling eachother out and messing with each other but all i saw was like just innocence and a security girls have when surrounded by other girls. and these girls are surprisingly aware of their advantages; they know that being in an all girls school actually increases their chances of success. all of it was stuff you see commonly when girls are together, but it dissipates when boys are around, and it made me happy they they could go to school and play sports and go on tours and field trips without having to deal with boys their age.

idk why i felt so emotional towards them. i guess ive got over a decade on the oldest of them now and i appreciate their innocence and youth. i appreciate how they all look so different; all heights and hair colours and complexions, some had a lot of acne and were a bit plain, some had huge teeth, some had tan skin, some were pretty, some were short and a bit stout, some were tall, some were lanky and awkward; one girls trackies were way too short and fell above her ankles. they made up dances and talked about school and joked around with their teachers. they were really competitive with eachother in activities. they talked about shopping, and how they couldn’t fit everything into their bags because they went a little crazy at aritzia….man i don’t know. i wish girls could stay that way forever, just youthful and sheltered from everything, safe and happy with other girls. they made me laugh so much and i genuinely enjoyed being around them. but yeah it feels so weird to try to explain it so. yeah

You figured this out as he moved you out of the mafia base with B.I.'s approval and bought a good home for you both to stay.

You remember the day you gave birth as if it was yesterday. You remember the joy that swept away all the pain as you held your newborn daughter. You remember all the boys visiting you at different times, and you'll never forget how proud Yunhyeong looked as he introduced his squad to his daughter.

Soojin. You remember her baby face without issue, even though it was 17 years ago. Your daughter grew up so fast - as you're told they all do.

Soojin and her father get along so well. Both of them are trouble makers, so you always see them planning chaos or laughing about something together. You and your daughter talk about deeper subjects more often than not, so seeing her being carefree and enjoying life with Yunhyeong brings so much joy to your heart.

Today, however, you catch them fighting. You don't hear the topic, only Soojin storming out after her final jab at her father, "You don't understand me at all!"

Seeing the pain on Yunhyeong's face hurts, but you decide to check in with your daughter instead, knowing that Yunhyeong can handle himself. Following Soojin, you find her on the front porch, sitting with her arms wrapped around her legs and her head buried in her knees. You sit down next to her, the wooden patio revealing your presence with a creak. You don't say anything before she immediately begins ranting about her father.

"Why doesn't he understand? Why can't he just be happy that I found someone that makes me happy?"

This is the first time your daughter has ever mentioned anything along the lines of having a crush, so you know it must be important to her, "Soojin, you've found someone?" You try approaching the situation softly, opting to learn about her partner before thinking about why her father would be upset.

"Mom, he's amazing. He's really sweet and caring. He takes me to nice parks, and we message every single day. He's pretty tall and really cute, too."

"So, what's this boy's name?"

"Hyunwoo. Jeong Hyunwoo. He's a year older than I am, and he's technically in the mafia - he was born into it just like me - but he treats me so well."

Suddenly, you understand why Yunhyeong freaked out over Soojin's boyfriend, but you don't bring it up just yet, "Jeong Hyunwoo. He sounds nice. Have you met his family?"

"Yup! We hang out with his dad a lot. He's super cool. Makes lots of jokes. His mom died when he was younger, and he's an only child, so it's just the two of them. For some reason, though, dad freaked out on me when I told him. Something about dangerous relationships and hoping I'd never have to deal with this stuff. I have no idea what he's talking about. Ugh, it's not fair. Why can't he be cool about it like Hyunwoo's dad?"

"Honey, your father just wants to protect you. He'll come around. He just knows someone he has bad blood with that has the same last name. They used to be friends but the friend was recruited into a mafia group, which meant he never even said his goodbyes to your father."

"But dad's in the mafia, so what's the big deal?"

With a sigh, you reveal some of your husband's past, "Your dad didn't choose to join. He had to join or they would've killed him for the damages he caused as a teenager. He despises the lifestyle, but there's no way to leave once you become part of it. Your father accepted the life he was forced into and did his best with what was given to him. His friend, Yunho, on the other hand, was invited and willingly chose to join. He does want you to be happy, but he's worried about your life if you date a mafia member."

"Well, what about you? Why'd he date you if that was the case? He was okay involving you?"

You laugh and shake your head. You think back on the unconventional relationship you and your now-husband had before the marriage, but decide not to explain that quite yet, "That's a very long and complicated story for another day. Just know that your situation is extremely different from mine. If you truly love Hyunwoo, don't let your father's attitude affect the relationship. When he sees you truly happy, he'll support you. Believe me."

You could tell that Soojin wasn't quite convinced, but she was always head-strong, so you also know that she will continue her relationship. So, you weren't surprised when she came to you a few days after and announced that she had a date with Hyunwoo. Watching her walk out in her cute date outfit, you can't help but feel proud of her for following her heart.

During the date, you finally confront Yunhyeong, "She'll be okay, y'know? She's the daughter of two very strong people, and we've raised her well."

"I tried so hard to keep her out of the mafia life. And a Jeong of all people could ruin all of that."

You place a hand on his back, "Yunhyeong, you can't use your past against her future. Aren't you happy Soojin finally found her first love?"

"Well, yeah, but..." He sighs, deciding not to finish his complaint.

"She'll be fine."

Soojin meets with Hyunwoo at the coffee shop down the street. When he sees her, the smile shows on his whole face.

"You look so beautiful." He places a kiss on her head and takes the seat across from her.

"Thanks, Hyunwoo. My mom helped choose my outfit and styled my hair for me."

Unknown to the couple basking in their puppy love, a low-ranking member of another mafia group sits at the next table and recognizes Hyunwoo's name. To confirm that he's the right person, the member listens in on their conversation.

"How's training? Is your dad being hard on you?"

"Naw, it's pretty smooth. What about you, though? How'd your parents react when you told them?"

"My mom is understanding. She fell for a member, too, after all, so she can relate. My dad, on the other hand... Ugh, he's so difficult!"

At this point, the stranger decides to alert his higher-ups of this potential Achilles' heel for the ATEEZ mafia team.

"He doesn't approve?"

"He hates that I'm becoming part of a lifestyle he tried so hard to keep me out of. My mom said it has to do with your name, too. Apparently, my dad's childhood friend ended up willingly joining the mafia without saying goodbye, and his last name was Jeong."

No longer paying attention, the stranger has been communicating with other members about following the couple around for a kidnapping so they can blackmail their rival mafia group. When the couple leaves the cafe, he follows them to a nearby park, his last-second assignment to find her house underway.

At the end of the date, Hyunwoo walks Soojin back home, finding you sitting out on the porch, reading under the warm light.

"Hey. mom! I'm back!"

As you look up from the book, you find your daughter waving at you with one hand as her other arm links with a nervous-looking boy. You stand up to greet them, and you notice Hyunwoo relax a bit when he realizes how nice you are. You have a short chat before Hyunwoo claims he should get home before his father worries.

"Thank you for walking Soojin home. Get home safely."

You and your daughter watch as he leaves, then she enthusiastically recounts the events of the date. Seeing her this happy makes you smile, as she hasn't smiled this brightly since she was a young child. When the two of you head inside, she falls asleep the moment she lays down. You meet with your husband in your shared bedroom.

"How is he?"

"He seems sweet. He was clearly nervous when he saw me, and he genuinely seems to love her and wants to keep her safe."

"That's good." His robotic response ends the conversation, so you both get into bed.

A few weeks pass before Soojin and Hyunwoo have time for another date. You offer to drive her to the arcade, but she insists on walking to enjoy the nice weather. You kiss her forehead as you tell her to be safe, then watch her until she leaves your view.

Maybe an hour later, an exhausted Hyunwoo comes banging on your front door.

Between moments to catch his breath, he pleads, "Please... tell me Soojin is here... She never came..."

Even though you answered the door, Yunhyeong hears and freaks out. "I told you, Y/N! It's too dangerous for her! She might've been kidnapped!"

You quickly bring Hyunwoo inside, looking up and down the street before closing and locking the door. Once both boys have calmed down a bit, you try calling your daughter, but you're immediately sent to the voicemail. Moments later, Hyunwoo gets a call from his father, who sounds very confused but speaks urgently without revealing details. When Hyunwoo tells him where he is, his father hangs up. Ten minutes later, Yunho pulls up with his leader in the passenger seat. You let them in quickly, only for chaos to ensue the moment Yunhyeong sees Yunho.

He abruptly stands, the chair falling behind him, "Get out of my house."

"Babe, we both want the same things right now. Put the rivalry aside." You try.

"It's him, Y/N. This is the bastard who left without so much as a goodbye."

Time feels frozen as everyone's eyes go wide. Yunho sighs, breaking the silence.

"Hello, Song. It's been a while. You may hate me for the past, but your daughter has been kidnapped. She's being held as blackmail against my group. So, unless you want her to die there, I suggest you put that hatred aside so we can save her."

"Dad?"

"I don't know what you've learned, Hyunwoo, but Song and I were best friends until I chose to join the group, which forced us to cut ties. Their group is a rival; there wasn't much choice in the matter." Yunho says it as if it was rehearsed for years, his eyes still transfixed on Yunhyeong's.

The ATEEZ leader clears his throat before moving forward with the information he has, "I'm HJ, and I received a link to this video earlier." He hits play on his tablet and talks over the soundless visual of your daughter tied down to a chair, "This was accompanied by a message demanding that we give up some of our fronts to them or she dies. I don't think they realize she's your daughter, or else they'd be blackmailing your group as well."

The four boys discuss further action while you listen, quietly analyzing the options. Hours pass without much progress being made. When you finally try to chime in about going to get her yourself, using the same tactics you used as a dancer, there's another knock on the door. The room instantly falls silent as Yunhyeong slinks toward the door, a hand on his gun. As he looks through the peephole, his body relaxes. Keeping his hand on the gun in case of ambush, he opens the door for B.I., who gives him a pitiful look before stepping inside.

"This doesn't look good, Song." The leader states as he pulls out an envelope addressed to iKON.

Opening it, Yunhyeong finds a lock of hair and a handwritten note:

iKON, we have one of your members. This member is a daughter of one of your high ranks. We suggest you follow the instructions on the back of this message if you want to see her ever again.

On the back, the instructions simply list a date, time, and place to meet, followed by their demands of a certain area under iKON's control. From the handwritten element, Yunhyeong quickly narrows down the suspects to two cocky newer groups: Bangtan or The Strays.

"Why is ATEEZ here?" B.I. asks when he reaches the others.

"Soojin is my girlfriend."

"And Hyunwoo is my son. It was easy blackmail for them."

HJ stands and holds out a hand to B.I., "Looks like we have to work together this time."

He reluctantly shakes his hand, gripping tightly, "Only this once. I don't want to lose that zone, but I can't risk Song going insane over his daughter's death either."

The debating and planning continue with more force, as the deadline doesn't give much time. Now that they can narrow down the subjects, they can plan in more depth. The two groups in question are much cockier, so they'll expect the ultimatum to be enough for cooperation. However, they're both smart enough to plan defenses in case of an ambush, and they have the numbers on their side. You're quick to point out that Bangtan's numbers don't show for power, as the top seven do everything themselves rather than relying on others, protective of everything they started together. Hyunwoo adds that The Strays don't have the same numbers as Bangtan, but that power is much more balanced, with each of the top members taking assistants by their side.

"We have to assume this is Bangtan. I don't think The Strays would be this aggressive. They'd take their sweet time with their attack. They'd probably kidnap Soojin and Hyunwoo together so that they have a larger upperhand." B.I. declares, repeating for clarity, "Bangtan do things on impulse like this. The Strays think too much."

Agreeing, you all begin fully planning the attack. Ultimately, Hyunwoo and Yunhyeong will attend the meeting, since they're the clear emotional targets in this scheme. You will infiltrate enemy lines if at all possible, with the support of the ATEEZ elite hacker, Yeosang. B.I. and HJ will join each group's top sniper, aiming at whoever joins the meeting on the opposite side, as well as keeping eye on anyone who comes into contact with you. Everyone wants this done as quickly and quietly as possible.

After two agonizingly-long days, the plans are put into action. Yeosang finds you an entrance around the side of the building, disabling its alarm long enough for you to get inside. You quickly find yourself in a group of other girls who are being given simple equipment. As you approach, the person hanging out guns asks for your member number. Without fail, iKON's intel expert spits out a number that you repeat with confidence.

"Name?"

"Kim Eunsoo." You relay the information you're given and receive a small handgun.

You follow the others, blindly acting like the rest of the pack. You don't have sight on the meeting, but you find yourself face-to-face with one of Bangtan's top members. He gives you a once-over before giving you the 'follow me' gesture with his fingers. Although you're scared, remembering rumors of him being the harshest of the members despite his sweet-sounding name.

When Suga finally leads you far enough from the others, he throws a hand around your throat and leans in close, "Do you think we're that dumb?"

He pulls your earpiece from your ear and breaks it under his foot before moving his hand to your hair, dragging you to the meeting. He cuffs your wrists behind your back before pushing you to the floor next to your daughter.

"Well, well, well. You actually did try some tricks. Good for you. Now, we have both of your girls, Song. You better give us what we want." RM, Bangtan's leader claims, a smirk plastered on his face the whole time.

He clearly sounds victorious, so you refuse to look up, hiding your proud smile since they're falling so easily into the trap everyone set. There were no disguises; you meant to get caught. As he continues his victory monologue, you fidget with the handcuffs, slipping out easily without letting them see. You press a button planted in the fake wedding ring you're wearing, alerting everyone that you've freed yourself and can continue the plan.

See, they neglected to take the loaded gun back, believing you wouldn't be able to use it anyway due to the constraints.

"RM, tell me. You think we're idiots for trying to beat you this time, right?" Hyunwoo mocks, cutting off the mafia boss mid-sentence, "You think we'd send Y/N in without a disguise and expect to get a win like that. Isn't that right, buddy?"

Right on queue, you point your gun at RM, and the snipers turn the scope lights on, revealing that the other members have targets on their chests. The leader chuckles and raises his hands.

"Oh no! They have us surrounded! Can you believe this, Jin?" Sarcasm flowing from every word, you realize he's planned for far more than you expected.

Understanding RM's plans at the same time, Hyunwoo lunges toward his girlfriend, shielding her body with his. Shots sound. Groans echo through the building as bullets pierce skin, followed quickly by shuffling feet to get the wounded out of harm's way.

When the dust settles, Yunho and B.I. quickly work to treat the wounded. As B.I. removes a bullet from your right shoulder, you tell him that you hit RM clean in the leg.

"It seemed like slow motion. I watched the bullet break his skin right before the pain hit my back."

"If you're such a good shot, we should train you properly. Dunno if your husband would approve, though."

Everyone made it back safely, so you're all exceptionally happy about how smooth it went. Only you and Hyunwoo actually got hit, and, luckily, neither shot hit anything vital. You also know Bangtan didn't suffer many injuries either, which gives you peace of mind.

Once B.I. finishes dressing the wound, you meet with Yunhyeong, who won't stop thanking Hyunwoo for jumping on top of Soojin and taking the bullet. You drag him away and have him meet with Yunho, who sits on the roof with a celebratory bottle of beer.

"Hey... Thanks for helping save our daughter." Yunhyeong nervously starts, sitting in between the two of you.

"Now, Yunho, so you want to tell Yunhyeong what you told me?"

Silence falls over the group momentarily.

"Nah, I think this speaks enough." Stubbornly, he takes another swig of his drink before laying back, "I'll help my friends, even if the companies we work for are rivals."

As silence creeps in again, you decide not to push for it anymore tonight. You already have a nice victory to sit on, so you feel no need to try for another. You lay down and let your mind drift as you stare up at the stars, knowing full well that Yunhyeong will accept Hyunwoo as family, meaning Yunho will slowly become part of the family as well.

hq boys and their part time jobs.

yet another unseries headcanon post made by yours truly! unlike my last one which you can find here, i won’t be involving every single major hq character so that’s just a heads up!! i can’t always envision stuff fully with every single person...

kageyama tobio: this boy thought that applying to work part-time at a sports shop would be fitting ‘cause of his love for volleyball, completely unaware that this would involve way too much social interaction and tolerance???? like he thought he’d just have to look like someone who does sports and occasionally restock yoga mats but these loud ass kids are coming up to him asking for this that and the other for sports he’s never heard of. suddenly he regrets the entire thing. plus, he has no idea how to use the cash register and it’s his worse nightmare to ring up items without wanting to stomp a hole into it to get the customer’s change.

hinata shoyo: shoyo went straight for the pet shelter because he’s in love with playing with the little puppies. this boy will full on roll around with them, stuff them under his shirt so their heads poke out and just.. intergrate and become one of them... the doggies love him so much n always clamber to sit on his lap because hinata treats them with so much love and kindness!! customers looking for pets often joke about taking him home bc he’s just as excitable and friendly as the actual dogs. he’s also really good at convincing people on the fence to get a pet and explaining their individual personalities because he knows them so well :(

nishinoya yuu: he said: supermarket assistant so he could ride around on the carts, intimidates literally every customer with his ungodly enthusiasm but is determined to help EVERYONE, he’ll run around the store taking people where they need to go but only if he actually remembers where they’re situated. otherwise this boy is like “yeah they’re just... that way.” and bolts in the other direction. gets along with all his colleagues and tells them all about his tournaments with karasuno. he’s not the star employee but it wouldn’t be the same w out him.. often asks the manager if he can taste test the market’s pastry section to which he is rejected every single time.

tanaka ryuu: he’s convinced working in his local gym was him in his element, he wears that tag thing like a badge of honour and just walks around showing people he works there instead of actually doing his job??? he’s also overly enthusiastic and will sometimes cheer on the people working out as if he’s some kind of zealous personal trainer and everybody is like “literally how old is this guy??” he’s surprisingly awesome at reception duty because he’s always chatting to regulars about how they’re doing... the practical side like schedules and paperwork he leaves for someone else, everyone just puts up with him bc he’s a mood setter.

sugawara koushi: don’t get me started on this boy as a teacher’s assistant, like he helps little kids out with their work, tidies up the class during their break times and reads them stories?? he’s THAT senior boy who’s the biggest sweetheart and seeing him handle kids so well is like ... does he want some of his own ?? i’d like to offer my expertise he’s always got a smile on his face, gets along with all the staff much older than him, he’s like this perfect boy they all dote on and he gets super flustered saying he just really likes helping out the children and making them smile. often brings them little snacks too and they all call him big brother BYE.

tsukkishima kei: he does some low-key shit that’s kinda wholesome like working with the eldery or tutoring kids but prefers for literally nobody to know about it because anything he does outside of school is his business. he does it because it’s good pay, there’s not much else to it. if anybody found out he’d be super irritated tbh it’s just an invasion of privacy to him but eventually wouldn’t care because every kid is getting part-time jobs these days.

oikawa tooru: bye he’s THAT guy who got his job at a retail store because he’s pretty. like he has no real interest in clothes or anything but he takes the job as a place to validate himself when girls come up to him purposefully to flirt. he’s winking and laughing with them and also NOT actually doing his job but he brings in customers so at least he’s somewhat useful. doesn’t know how to fold clothes or hang stuff on hangers properly for shit and everyone lowkey wants to kick his ass but he’s actually very friendly and outgoing even if he has no clue what he’s doing. keeps asking if bra sizes come in small, medium and large and everyone just tells him to shut up.

iwaizumi hajime: when picking a job he was like “well what am i good at?” and went from there. he ended up as the local pool’s weekend lifeguard because he had the qualifications and time. again, everyone his age just tries to hit on him and he’s annoyed because it distracts him from the actual purpose of his job. he takes it seriously and impresses his colleagues with his swimming talent and knowledge on first aid. iwaizumi lowkey scares the little kids and they’re kind of afraid to ask him for help so he’s been working on looking a little more friendly.

kuroo tetsurou: kuroo as a tennis instructor assistant or just something sporty other than volleyball because he’s a multi-talented king?? like he’s not a professional by any means but he helps out the youth club and gets along with kids a few years younger than him. fills in for refs at tournaments, makes sure equipment is safe to use and is SUPER good at cheering club goers up when they lose or fail or can’t seem to do it correctly. he often refers to his experiences as nekoma’s captain to relate to them and they really admire his resilience and ask him to tell them more stories!!

kenma kozume: had to be dragged out to do a part-time job. was absolutely against the thought of it until hinata mentioned a friend of his who’d moved to the prefecture near kenma got a job at this new game shop. he was like fine and applied. he just kinda sat and people asked him questions about the games but he refused to do any further socialisation or actual grunt work like shelving, he quit pretty soon after, he just wanted the money to buy a game he ended up purchasing on his way out lmaoo

bokuto koutarou: he was dead set on having a volleyball related job, fukurodani have a club for junior players from all over the city to come and practice together. he was like?!? “and nobody told me??” he’s perfect for it as the captain and ends up as a secondary coach. he shows off A LOT and like kuroo, encourages the kids when they’re down. except kuroo is a more sit down, hand on shoulder, casual talk kind of guy. bokuto gets ridiculously sentimental and tells them dramatically about his lowest memories as captain when fukurodani lost and the kids are genuinely as emotional because of he way he tells it??? idk but they love him and he’s a ball of passion that keeps them going.

akaashi keiji: we are talking pretty waiter at a local gormet restaurant that gets tipped SO MUCH for his true professionalism. knows how to handle every situation with ease and is super calm, doesn’t care at all if someone from his school is there. he’s really just chasing that bag and he’s doing it well. bokuto often picks him up after his shifts so they can do stuff together but akaashi requests it be something calming since he’s tired after work... bokuto is like,, “so no to rock-climbing? alright i’ll reschedule..” the other waiters lowkey HATE the fact he gets tipped so well and they try and figure out his secrets. he has none. he’s just good at his job. i could see kiyoko working a similar job or somewhere lowkey like a flourist or bakery. she’s equally as professional and admired.

ushijima wakatoshi: ANY JOB. give this man any job and he’ll be able to carry it out like he’s been doing it since he popped out the womb. often mistaken for a grown adult so he gets jobs pretty easily? very very professional and aims to do everything perfectly. i think he’d also prefer a vb related job just like bokuto but something that could really get him somewhere big, smth to do with olympics like a paid internship for them .. can you even intern for the olympics lmao?? maybe something for the japanese team. it’s a lot of work to balance school & intern life but he’s very comitted and knows it’ll benefit him in the future. (kageyama was fuming when he found out he could have done that instead of his current gig).

tendou satori: has a job he’s very under-qualified for but somehow pulls off. he’s chilling at the hospital or law firm three times a week after classes or somewhere ridiculous but he’s doing just fine!! doesn’t actually do professional work n helps with small things but it impresses the hell out of everybody he tells, has no interest in persuing those careers but it’s fun for him, he gets paid VERY well for a boy his age and his personality creates a nice, talkative atmosphere in these seemingly tense environments.

miya atsumu / osamu: they both work at a café for novelty because they’re these handsome, athletic twins and it’s a thing that brings people in. they do a lot of fan service stuff and osamu is EXCELLENT like he was made for this job but atsumu is awful at keeping his cool. osamu will be chatting up customers, trying to persuade them to order more and atsumu is having a heated tustle with the coffee machine that’s broken down for the third time that day and it really ruins the magic osamu is trying to create. atsumu has probably sworn loudly. has probably almost been fired. he’s bad at playing along and flirting because he literally just wants them to leave so he can sit down lmao. osamu uses the pastries in the café as inspiration for his own at-home baking fiascos because it’s a stress-reliving hobby.

terushima yuji: he’s that boy in shoe shops that tries to sell you sneakers and he knows literally everything about them even when you really didn’t ask... looking to hit on girls that come in because shoe knowledge is obviously very sexy! alternatively you might catch him in a tattoo shop or sumn real appearance based and he definitely remembers all the regulars and greets them like they’re close friends, we’re talking inside jokes. always seems to know what tattoo people are looking to get purely based on their appearance and initial impression...

yachi: too scared to do ANY job that requires interaction, she’s plagued by it.

hoshiumi: fired for picking too many fights with customers.

kyotani: EVEN WORSE THAN HOSHIUMI though he was strangely very efficient at paperwork.

suna: quit on the first day because it wasn’t what he expected and he doesn’t care about money that much.

lev: his family are like.... rich?? n nobody really expected it but he’s like yeah i really do not need one of those lmao.

yamaguchi: broke things, spilt things, smashed things. he really was trying his best..

aone: intimidated customers too much so they let him go (he was just STANDING THERE.. he deserved better).

sakusa: local venues are filthy, ushijima got the internship spot, no other job interests him enough to persue.

The Losers movie from 2010, it’s a action mystery movie about Clay and his team that are a part of an elite US Special Forces Unit and are approached by a mysterious woman to exact revenge on their handler, Max, who betrayed them and just,,,the characters, CHRIS EVANS, jake jensen and all of his kinda weird glory, THE ELEVATOR SCENE, also cougar!!

2. Captain America and The Winter Soldier movie, it’s a action movie, which makes me realize that a lot of my faves are prolly gonna be action something, but anyways, it’s about Steve Rogers, who now lives in the nation's capital as he tries to adjust to modern times. An attack on a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague throws Rogers into a web of intrigue that places the whole world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Natasha Romanov, and a new ally, Sam Wilson, Steve struggles to expose an ever-widening conspiracy, but he and his team soon come up against an unexpected enemy. oh my god,,,just,,,the fight scenes, the running scene at the beginning of the movie, steve meeting sam that way, just everything!! this was also my introduction to marvel so in my mind no other marvel movie can live up to this (other than spiderman away from home)

3. Spiderman Far from Home, again, it’s a action movie, i’m not gonna explain this cause the post is getting long, but!! mj and peter!! just,,,all of their scenes!! also jake gyllenhaal!! the fight scenes!! the soundtrack!! everything about it is amazing!!

4. Thunderforce, again, i’m not gonna explain, it’s an action adventure and comedy movie (ofc it is look at the other 3 🙄 /s), the relationship between lydia and emily!! the relationship between lydia and emily’s daughter!! the humor!! the fight scenes!! the soundtrack!!,,,,just everything about is good despite the bad ratings

that’s more like a top 4 than a top 5 but that’s like,,,,all the movies i genuinely like and will rewatch if given the chance and for that where’s a honorable mention: Hamilton (the movie version on disney+ that came out i think nearly a year ago), the soundtrack is amazing, the characters are better, got some funny moments and is mostly historically accurate, like yeah angelica did forget her name cause at the time of her meeting alex ham, she was married to a man named john church (or something church idk) so her last name was church but she introduced herself to alexander as angelica schuyler, not angelica church, so in satisfied she was telling the truth about forgetting her own name, but in the same song she said that her father had no sons even though the real angelica had 3 brothers.

Avatar the last Airbender, ofc or else i would have a blog (mostly) centered around it and it’s sequel /s but fr though?? it’s such a good show!! zuko’s redemption arc, iroh’s redemption arc (even though his more subtle than zuko’s) , aang!! love him and his character so much, especially when he gets to be a sassy little shit, sokka and his shit humor and brains, katara, toph, hakoda and HIS shit humor, the fight scene with hakoda (he fights kinda like a waterbender, using his opponent’s momentum against them), bato and his lovely, lovely voice, piandao, aang going ‘how about he get on YOUR back and you can fly us to the south pole’ or something like that to sokka after he complained about appa not flying higher, the boiling rock episodes, hakoda apparently being a good dad but a shitty prison riot starter (love that for him), just!! atla is such a good ass show, im not changing my mind. also!! i like the way they introduced ozai, not showing his face but still presenting him as not only a shit dad, but a shit person as well, like up until book three, we only saw him like, the neck down and in like, a flashback or two (i don’t really remember how many flashbacks ozai was in actually cause it’s nearly been a full year since i last watched it) and that’s it, so it made seeing his face for the first time all the more better cause you was already like ‘what the hell does this shitbag look like’ and then you see him and now ur like ‘oh!! THATS what he looks like!!’

The Legend of Korra, again, ofc or else i wouldn’t have a blog (mostly) centered around it and it’s prequel, just,,,,korra’s arc from being hot headed to calm is fantastic but also sad considering the way she went from that to this, korra’s book 1 character!! for whatever reason i really like b1 korra, just,,her design, her hair style (even though she had it for nearly the entire series) just!!! book 1 korra <3, also the entirety of book 1!! just amon posing as a anti bender nonbender despite being a waterbender himself, the scene where tenzin and his kids nearly lost their bending, which would’ve meant that, if tenzin did lose his bending but his kids didn’t, that would’ve meant the strongest airbender would’ve been his 11 year old daughter, the gruesome way to end the season finale episode by doing a murder suicide which was dark as fuck for what?? a kids show??, also the villains in this show!! their good as hell!! the backstory of the red lotus and how and why they were created?? amon and his anti bending?? kuvira and her plan to basically rule the earth kingdom (idk i haven’t finished book 4), unalaq and his spiritual stuff and wanting to become a dark avatar and fusing with vaatu?? also!! the other disturbing scene of korra basically getting tortured near the end of book 3, i mean?? it deadass left her hella traumatized and unable to walk, again hella dark for a fucking kids show

The Walking Dead, even though i haven’t finished it or watched in like, 4-5 months, i just,,,the way the presented negan!! practically foreshadowing him the entirety of season 6!! him appearing at the very end of the season 6 finale and pretty much having an entire episode dedicated to him in the very beginning of season 7 (which is why some fans argue he was introduced in s7 not s6 cause of the fact that he didn’t show up until the very end of the s6 finale but had an entire episode with him in it in s7, while others say vice versa cause the very the first time we see him was in s6 not s7), the fact that the walking dead logo was getting progressively more and more decayed as the series go on?? the fact that the WALKERS (the zombies) are getting more and more decayed as the series go on?? dale’s death scene?? shane’s death scene?? negan’s relationship with rick’s daughter?? the fact that this show also has what?? 11, 12 seasons?? which reminds me that i’m still on season 9 of twd

Sabrina the Teenage Witch, just,,,salem and his sarcasm?? sabrina’s aunts?? sabrina herself?? just!! everyone is just so fucking funny in this show it’s unreal, specially salem!! a lot of my favorite scenes have salem in them, the ‘are you on a women’s chat room again?’ (or something like that) and salem saying ‘i like the attention’ in response, that one harvey and salem scene that i don’t know how to describe without turning this into a giant paragraph like the ones before this one

5. blue’s clues, it was my favorite childhood show and i love the reboot of it so much!! especially p for pride moment in that song i don’t remember the name of, blue themself!! steve leaving which was sad but getting an equally amazing host in the process?? amazing!! the scene where salt and pepper introduced their baby, paprika?? just,,,it’s such good show and i loved it when i was younger and i still love it now!!

im in love with the dts 3 ferrari episode!!! Like, i even think it’s better than last season because the show shit on Seb so bad last time but this time they weren’t the problem, only b*notto. Plus Seb and Charles were so cute. Seb just not giving a damn and dragging them, I’m glad he was able to stand up for himself a little, it hurt to see him go through what he did so it is very satisfying to watch. Ooh, I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it! Maybe it’s the fact that I watched it at like 7am and now I’ve got a headache, or because over time I’ve kind of romanticized Seeing Red in my head, but...I didn’t love it. This is my first time watching DTS in, like, real time and knowing it’s about to be released and anticipating it so it’s a bit different, but mostly I was just really anxious about how everything is going to be portrayed? Admittedly it wasn’t as bad as I had feared - Seb and Charles are laughing together in practically every scene they share and aside from like two scenes they seem to have blessedly dropped the dramatized rivalry aspect - and it’s always nice to get a glimpse inside the team briefings and the drivers’ Thursday media duties, but idk, it didn’t like blow me away. 

I think if I re-watch it a few times it might grow on me. But for the surprisingly long runtime - 44mins vs Seeing Red’s runtime of only 32mins - it didn’t feel like much happened? Like, Seeing Red felt a lot more action-packed and “busy” I guess because there were more racing highlights to show - here the focus was like 70% on Monza with either flashbacks or supplemental footage. The Tuscany bit felt tacked on as an afterthought - I thought the split was going to be closer to 50/50. I guess nothing exciting happened in the race to justify including it, but still. I know they didn’t follow Ferrari in Turkey but I really wish they’d included that as like a high point for them in the season, to offset all the “laughably bad performance,” “Seb’s lost his confidence and motivation” comments. And it’s not like there was no drama - I mean hell, the last lap shenanigans! Charles’s self-flagellation! Delicious! 👀

I’m also not sure how I feel about the Monza and Singapore 2019 flashbacks in the context of “illegal engine.” I get that they had to explain Ferrari’s sudden loss of power from one season to the next, but it felt like they were...almost diminishing or delegitimizing their accomplishments from 2019. Also the Charles and Frédéric Vasseur scene felt very scripted and unnecessary. They made it seem like Vasseur’s trying to encourage Charles to criticize Seb and the only reason he didn’t was because he was aware of the mic overhead - “they can’t read our lips.” And the way the footage was deliberately cut to make it seem like they’re staring at him. Like, why? Charles didn’t seem very comfortable or willing to participate. Surely they could’ve included something more interesting in lieu of a last-ditch attempt to create some kind of artificial internal conflict. 🙄

Other than that it was fine. Oh, I loved how they showed the mechanics chatting amongst themselves in the garage. They’re so goddamn funny. Ferrari is just...one big comedy show. Free entertainment! Genuinely I love them. Now back to Sebchal...

It really felt like Charles was on Seb’s side in all of this - or, at least, that Seb’s fight wasn’t with him. And I’m glad for that, cause it could’ve gone either way with the editing/narrative. 

The looks they shared! The eyebrow quirks! The silent, near-telepathy levels of understanding between the two! The fact that Charles is laughing freely at Seb’s jokes despite the warning that they can’t be “too funny.” So I honestly can’t complain because they did do a good job of showing their camaraderie instead of forcing them into these “bitter rival” roles and discarding all evidence of them being supportive, affectionate and respectful towards each other. Although - as always - they could’ve done more. Even something small that didn’t require much extra effort, like including Charles’s tweet when the news of Seb’s departure from the team broke. Or having even a tiny segment in the final episode being dedicated to Seb’s send-off and the Sebmet - they showed footage of drivers and mechanics and team principals milling about before the race start in Abu Dhabi, they easily could’ve squeezed Seb and Charles’s pre-race embrace in there. I get that the focus of the episode was the Renault/McLaren/Racing Point scrap for third in the Constructors’, but if Daniel can make a cameo in the Ferrari episode, I don’t see why they couldn’t have included even something small like that. But hey, I’m biased, and also...(regrettably) not part of the DTS editing team down at Netflix, lmao.

So, my Miraculous Ulysses AU.

I was genuinely surprised how many people responded to this (which is like… ten, but still). Thank you everyone, @furryhamlet in particular. I don’t know how serious I am about this, but does anybody really?

First, let us take a moment to establish the main similarities between Ulysses, a modernist masterpiece by James Joyce, and Miraculous Ladybug, a (debatably metamodern?) kids show:

puns;

the revolutionary new trope of main hero having a dead mother and the resulting father issues (never done before or after);

farts and bathroom humour (more prevalent in Ulysses, of course).

I think everything is quite clear.

And now, without further ado, Miraculous Ulysses AU:

It’s still Dublin, it’s still 1904, but now there’s also magic. And superheroes.

Stephen Dedalus has a black cat miraculous; Buck Mulligan has a bee miraculous; Simon Dedalus has a butterfly miraculous (not because I think it suits him, but because someone has to); Leopold Bloom is the guardian, but he doesn't do a very good job; Molly is often Ladybug, but it's not like she cares a lot.

All of them, of course, have different names for their alternate personas, but I'm not clever enough with names and not skilled enough with English language. Let's just say: Simon doesn't bother; Bloom comes up with a name for every person he gives a miraculous to, but none of them use those; Stephen has a million names, all very deep and clever, but the only one that stuck is whatever Mulligan mockingly called him that one time; and I don't know what's Bee!Mulligan name is, but it's inappropriate for general audiences.

I’ll have some placeholder names to make it easier for myself. Stephen may remain Chat Noir (he would probably name himself after a cabaret, at least to honour his teenage rebellion against church); Simon Dedalus can be Moth Daddy; Buck is… idk, Hornet? Hornet will do.

May Dedalus, Stephen’s mother, died not from cancer but from the misuse of the damaged peacock miraculous. After her death, Simon started akumatizing people into villains. He’s aware of the wish, but at this point it’s mostly about revenge to Chat Noir.

(Chat Noir might be the one who damaged the peacock miraculous in the first place, but it never said outright.)

He, of course, doesn't know anything about his son being Chat. Stephen, however, knows everything about his parents, but has no idea what to do with this information. It's a source of his resentment, but he can't bring himself to properly sort out his feelings.

Mulligan and Stephen know nothing about each other’s alternate identities. Stephen is friends with Mulligan mostly because his father doesn't want it. He actually resents Mulligan a lot, but is sympathetic towards Hornet because sees him as someone similar to him, someone who could actually understand his world-view and take it seriously. Chat spends some efforts to turn Hornet to his side but to no avail. Mulligan, on the other hand, thinks Chat Noir is a pretentious prick, but has a lot of genuine admiration for Stephen, even though he hides it under the layers of sarcasm and cynicism, as he doesn't want to be seen as weak. And that is your love square, everybody.

Hornet starts out as an independent party, but at some point begins working for Moth. Naturally, Simon finds out his identity and that’s the main reason he doesn’t want to see him anywhere near his son.

It’s Bloom who deals with the most akuma emergencies. He often recruits different dubliners to his side, but almost none of them stick to the job. Chat helps time to time, even though this help is often incidental, and he’s a lot more interested in Hornet shenanigans. Bloom is aware of Chat, but they never have time to properly talk to each other. Bloom wants to meet him; Bloom is searching for him.

The guardian duties tire him a lot. Bloom inherited the miracle box from his father with three miraculous already missing. Later he lost the fourth one, the bee miraculous, which he considers his greatest mistake. His relationship with Molly is not that great either. She used to regularly take a role of Ladybug, but after her singing career took off, she started losing interest. Nowadays Bloom often gives the ladybug miraculous to other women. Gerty is one of them.

Boylan is there somewhere. There’s probably an episode where he gets akumatized and Bloom and Molly are the ones to deal with it (very awkward for all parties).

Just so you know, the masturbation scene is still there.

There are a lot of Odyssey themed akumas. For instance, local back-seat political expert The Citizen is turned into Cyclops.

There was one person Stephen tried to tell about Chat Noir. A few years ago, before his run off to Paris, he tried talking to Cranly about the ring. He immediately got excited about the possibilities, insisted he and Stephen could work together as a superhero team. Stephen tried to explain himself, but ultimately saw that Cranly wouldn't ever understand. He brushed the whole thing off as a joke and never returned to it. At some point, Stephen thinks he should reveal himself to Mulligan, but then remembers Cranly and decides against it.

Haines’s dream about panther hunting is still there and now it cuts even deeper.

There’s a Chat Blanc type episode. It’s called Pangur Bán and it’s about the horrifying alternate reality of Stephen staying in Ireland (it’s not that bad, actually, but Stephen has a meltdown).

Ultimately, Stephen finds out Hornet is Mulligan. That's what seals his betrayal to Stephen, so there is nothing he could do but go to the brothel and get drunk. What led him to this discovery is that during their last encounter Hornet reused one of Stephen's aphorisms only Mulligan could know at that point. (He also grossly misquoted it and twisted the meaning.)

It’s in the brothel that Bloom recognizes Stephen (who is severely drunk at this point) as a son of his friend and saves him from the trouble he’s about to lead himself into. That’s when he notices the ring and realizes that Stephen is Chat Noir.

Bloom is happy beyond belief. He’s finally met someone he could share his guardian duties with. He buys Stephen some food and lets him sober up a bit, afterwards he invites him to his home and proposes a plan. Stephen could live in Bloom’s house with a better, more stable job. Bloom could share all his guardian knowledge with him, so he could better control his powers. They could work together as a team to finally bring Moth and Hornet to justice and end all this mess. Finally, Stephen could become the next guardian and have a miracle box all to himself. He responds to this with silence. Bloom apologizes and says he understands it’s a lot to take in, so he tells Stephen to think on it until morning.

Bloom falls asleep near his wife, full of hope for the future.

Before dawn, Stephen leaves Bloom’s house with his ring and his wallet. He plans to spend his last money on a ticket to France.

Before we end, a few things about an ideal media format for this AU:

It’s an animated tv series, at least 3 seasons long.

The style and quality of animation varies drastically from episode to episode, sometimes suddenly changing in the middle of one. There are at least 9 studious working on this, the communication between them isn’t great.

It all takes place in one day, 16 June 1904, but the viewers can’t tell that for sure until the last episode. This revelation might frustrate them at first, but once they’ll look back, they realize it kind of makes sense, as there is hardly any change of weather or time of day during the vast majority of episodes.

Unfortunately, it will be very hard to look back at, as all the episodes are aired out of order.

The series is broadcasted in many countries, each of which has its own order of episodes. And none of them has a full translation. Actually, nobody can have a full translation, until the thing becomes public domain. Until then, there are only automatically generated and machine translated subtitles. And fansubs, I guess.

Not to mention it gets banned really quickly in a lot of places.

The fans lose their mind, trying to establish continuity. There are multiple theories and theme tables to make sense of it all. The meaning also can change drastically, depending on the order you watch it in, so there are full-blown fandom continuity wars. People go mad. People die. It feels like a fever dream.

But once it all put together?

Absolute masterpiece.

dare-out (bnha one-shot; shinso x todoroki x mina x f!reader)

a/n: idk this idea just got into my head and yeah i really wanted to write it, i’m gonna use first person pronoun for the reader bcus that’s how i roll, and don’t question the way i write HAHAHA

summary: four people out to do some dares !!

Shoto, Hitoshi and I were lazing on the couch, just some casual netflix and chill while Mina was taking her own sweet time dolling up.

Well, in actual fact, it was only Hitoshi and I watching Lucifer that was playing on the television as his head laid on my lap.

Shoto was leaning against my shoulder, eyes glued to his phone, probably scrolling through Instagram or something. The three of us had bought him a smartphone his last birthday and yeah, we kinda convinced him to download social media so we could tag him in pictures and create a group chat where we share posts of memes and drop not-so-subtle hints of gifts that we wish someone would get for us.

Shoto adjusted himself on my right, shifting his butt further from me so that he was now lying on my lap too.

I sighed, realising that we have waited for Mina for almost 2 hours. “Babe, are you almost done yet?” I yelled from my place on the sofa, struggling not to move too much and ruining the comfortable positions of my two boyfriends.

“Yes!” she staggered down the stairs.

“Finally,” Hitoshi heaved, sitting up. The three of us turned to look at her, to find out the outfit that had wasted all of our times.

She had on a pale blue long-sleeved crop top that showed off her navel piercing that was of a breathtaking amethyst, a grey skater skirt that stopped mid-thigh, and furry ugg boots.

She spun one round for us to take in her entire outfit, “What do yall think?”

“I think,” I paused for impact, “that did not have to take a full one and a half hour,” I finished my sentence, smirking at her.

She pouted, “Bitch.”

“Now that everyone’s ready, can we go and get some food already?” Hitoshi complained.

“In due time,” I turned to him, pecking him on the lips, “but before that, let’s play a dare game.”

This time, Shoto spoke up, “That doesn’t sound good.”

“Aw, it’ll be fun!”

“Yeah, it does sound fun!” Mina exclaimed, wrapping her arms around me from behind the couch.

“So, we will split into two teams, the ladies versus the gentlemen, and the game will last until dinner time,” I explained the basic rules of the game, “the team that gives in on the most number of dares will have to do the other team a favour, deal?”

Knowing that they can never say ‘no’ to us, both Shoto and Hitoshi sighed in defeat.

“The boys can start,” I suggested, looking up at Mina who gave a nod in agreement.

“Okay, we’ll start with..” Hitoshi trailed of deep in thought, “[Y/N], wash your hands in the toilet bowl,” he smirked at me, the rest of our jaws dropping.

After processing the information, I caught myself and smirked back at him, “Easy.”

The four of us headed to the bathroom as I plunged my hands into the toilet bowl, Mina flushing it for me.

Once I lifted it from the water, I started spraying the water at Hitoshi.

“Oh no, you don’t, get away from me!” Hitoshi screamed as I chased him around the house.

Shoto helped me blocked his way, restraining him with a hug to prevent him from running any further as I happily wiped my hands clean on his shirt.

I thanked Shoto while Hitoshi muttered, upset, “I hate you.”

“I love you too,” Shoto smiled at him.

Mina kept her phone away and spoke up, “Okay, Sho, I dare you to order every single thing on the menu at McDonald’s.”

Shoto grinned at the sound of that, whipping out a credit card from nowhere that was very much Endeavour’s, “I can do that.”

“How has he not terminated that card already?” I questioned.

Shoto shrugged, “Probably because he’s willing to go to great extents to make up to us and patch the family back together.”

“Well, whatever. Let’s all go get some food, I’m starving,” Mina whined, shoving us all out the door.

“Says the one who made us wait for 2 whole hours,” Hitoshi stated, earning him a slap on his upper arm. “Ouch,” he rubbed the spot he was hit.

“Guys, stop the domestic abuse and pick up your pace,” I joked.

“You’re the one who abuses us the most,” both Hitoshi and Mina retorted.

I cowered into Shoto’s side. “Sho, they’re bullying me,” I pouted, causing Shoto to let out a chuckle and he patted my hair.

Buying out the entire menu was certainly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We ended up having an eating competition, that was a draw between Mina and I, and quite a bit of leftover food that we did not touch.

We decided to pull pranks on people with it by immediately serving the food to them as soon as they told the counter their order. There was also one time where a little boy was tugging on his mother’s sleeve, pestering her about wanting to eat what we had, so Mina just went up and dropped a paper bag in front of them. It was all in good fun.

Shoto turned to Mina, our last paper bag in hand, “You see that group of guys there? Go sit beside them and chat them up while eating their fries.”

“Sure, but if I get beaten up yall gotta stand up for me okay?” she waved us off, stalking towards them.

We watched as Mina hopped onto the chair beside one of the guys, starting up a conversation and casually eating his fries. Every time she reached for the fries, the guy’s eyes would dart from her face, to her hand, to his fries, and back to her face again when she popped the fry into her mouth and slowly chewed on it. He tried to move the packet of fries away from her but she would somehow find her way back to it and eat them again. It was truly a hilarious sight to watch.

It was only when the group stood up, the rage burning in their eyes that we decided to interfere, afraid that a fight would break out. Shoto gave them the bag of free food as compensation for the fries that Mina ate.

“Well, that was intense,” Hitoshi commented as soon as we got out of the fast food restaurant.

Mina agreed, “It was scary and hot at the same time, I’d say I’d never do it again but we all know I will.”

We all burst out laughing.

“I wanna give a dare now!” I exclaimed, raising a hand. “Sho, Toshi,” I turned to both boys, “we can’t be selfish so it’s time for us to share your bodies with your fans.”

The looks of horror on their faces made me laugh out loud again. They sure did not like physical affection, unless it was from either one of us.

I placed my hands on their shoulders, “The two of you shall provide fanservice by giving free hugs at the central plaza.”

“Without your shirts on,” Mina added as soon as I finished.

I nodded at that suggestion. “You two can pass it up if you are prepared to do us ladies a favour!”

It was then that Hitoshi was motivated to not let the dare get to them, “Never.” He dragged Shoto by the hand and headed for the plaza, “Come on, Sho, we’re not gonna lose today. We’re gonna prove them wrong and show them that we can do this.”

At the plaza, Mina and I were seated at the fountain, holding up the signs we had made for the boys to give hugs to the members of the public. It was a heartwarming sight indeed, people of all ages going up and wrapping their arms around them, the genuine smiles on their faces contagious and attracting a whole lot of attention, brightening the day of those that were here to witness this exchange.

“They would be so much more popular if they were more willing to smile in public like that,” Mina whispered in my ear.

I nodded in agreement but I couldn’t imagine it. They have definitely become more expressive ever since the four of us started dating, but my selfish ass kinda not want anyone else to see the expressions they could make.

“Earth to [Y/N]!,” I heard Mina spoke as she wave a hand in front of my face, breaking my reverie.

I shook the thoughts out of my head, “Sorry, I was just thinking about that large group of schoolgirls before.”

This caused a smirk to form on Mina’s face. “Ooh, girl, you jealous or something?” she nudged me in the side.

“I guess,” I muttered, embarrassed.

“But you were the one who dare them to do this,” her voice was accusing, even though that was the absolute fact.

“I know,” I heaved a sigh.

“Aw, babe, you know you don’t have to be,” she wrapped an arm around me and I leaned my head on her shoulder, “you mean so much more to us than we can express, and even if those two idiots were to dump your stupid ass, just know that I’ll always be here,” she comforted me.

I gave her a smile as thanks and she leaned down to kiss me, a reassurance to tell me that she meant every single word she had just said.

Shoto had his hands on his hips and Hitoshi had his above his knees, both of them were panting hard.

“Whoa, you guys seem like you just came back from a workout or something,” Mina commented on their sweaty and disheveled appearances.

After catching his breath, Hitoshi spoke up, “Damn, that was harsh.”

“[Y/N], you alright?” Shoto asked me gently, coming to sit on my other side.

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

“Yeah, other than being jealous of the group of girls back there, she’s good,” Mina explained the situation in my stead.

I shoved her away from me, “Traitor.”

She stuck her tongue out at me in response while Shoto tilted his head slightly in confusion, “But weren’t you the one who suggested we do this?”

“That’s what I said!” Mina huffed.

“That’s why I couldn’t say anything,” my voice was muffled by my hands covering my face.

Hitoshi sat on the now empty spot beside me. “You know there’s no reason for you to,” he pulled me into his side.

“Yeah, to us you’re irreplaceable,” Shoto added, wrapping his arms around my waist and leaning on me, “it was all thanks to you that we are who we are today.”

“That’s what I told her!”

I grinned. If anyone asked me what bliss was, I’d tell them it was this moment, but it was not only that, it was all the moments I shared with them, all the memories we made together. Four people of different personalities, backgrounds and lifestyles coming together, and sharing a house together. Sharing a life together.

“I’m so glad you guys are a part of my life.”

How would the TF2 mercs react to having an s/o who is shy?

Heavy:

Oh god… They are too cute. Too cute for their own good.

Heavy makes sure that he talks nice and slow, giving reassuring looks and smiling occasionally.

Whenever the S/O fumbles with something in their hand or stumbles on their words Heavy just melts and smiles, patting their back or picks up whatever they dropped.

If the S/O is ever expected to do something on the spot, Heavy quietly whispers encouragements and maybe a thumbs up.

Heavy is 110% gentle and understanding. He is his S/O’s #1 fan.

If the S/O meets someone new, Heavy will do most of the talking but will also push his S/O to speak up more.

Heavy helps his S/O to open up more, sometimes pushing them a little too much. He only wants them to show their true potential that he knows they have.

But will never push them into a panic attack or have them in an overstimulating setting.

If he senses that his S/O is uncomfortable in a situation he will shut that down immediately.

Pretty much always has his strong arms around his S/O’s shoulders and waist.

Medic:

Cute. But too introverted he thinks.

He was afraid that he scared his S/O before they got together, but once he found out that it was only shyness, he was relieved.

He loves his S/O dearly and will brag about them. (Idk guys, I just think Medic is a goofy and a tad crazy. I mean, have you read the comics? He’s a mad scientist, emphasize on mad.)

Will absolutely put his S/O on the spot he knew they could handle. It’ll start in front of a small crowd and once his S/O becomes more and more confident he’ll have them in front of bigger crowds.

Medic especially loves how his S/O blushes over everything. His heart just about bursts from his chest.

Hearing them giggle ever so softly makes him want to hug them and kiss them all over their face.

He is so proud whenever his S/O speaks up without him pushing them to.

He wraps an arm tightly around their waist in crowds or parties, making sure they know he’s there.

When he sees physical signs of discomfort he is by their side in a blink of an eye.

If it’s just a single person bothering them, Medic becomes a bit possessive and is all over his S/O to make the sorry loser back off.

Scout:

At first, he just thinks they don’t like him, or that they’re playing hard to get.

He and his S/O are just about polar opposites and everyone sees it. But, not him. (He probably doesn’t even know what that means)

He just adores his S/O, often translating what they’re saying if they whisper too quietly.

He’ll use some really corny pickup lines just to hear then giggle and possibly snort.

Scout will do just about anything for his S/O so they don’t have to overwork themselves, but will gladly encourage them to speak out a bit more.

If anyone gives the S/O any trouble or makes them nervous, Scout in there in a flash to defend them.

The S/O has no worries when they’re around Scout, he talks enough for the both of them.

And hell, Scout could practically read their mind and take words right out of their mouth.

Sometimes his S/O will never have to talk, Scout just doesn’t shut up.

And if people start saying things like “I’m sure S/O could have said that themselves.” or “Why don’t you give your S/O a chance to talk?” Scout will roll his eyes and take a step back for his S/O to speak.

But they don’t.

They stumbler over their words and their face grows red with embarrassment, apologizing over and over again and explaining that they’re just very shy.

Scout’s face contorts into a smug smile as he steps by his S/O’s side again, giving them a small peck on the cheek.

It’s never a dull moment with Scout, that’s for sure.

Sniper:

Sniper is a bit awkward himself, so it took awhile for him to figure out that someone had a crush on him.

Sniper and his S/O would spend quiet evenings in his camper, lounging around.

Neither of them likes talking to people that much, which is great.

They’ll take drives around Australia just to explore and have a change of scenery every once in awhile.

They are very comfortable with each other, Sniper would prefer to be with his S/O than to be alone. Which is a huge deal to him.

If they’re ever in huge crowds or at the base, they’ll be right next to each other at all times. Just chatting away or getting stuff done.

Sniper is a bit more talkative than his S/O, but he doesn’t mind. He’ll answer questions for them, but will happily sit back and have his S/O talk as well if they’d like.

The two of them don’t stay with a lot of people for long, Sniper gets overstimulated or annoyed and his S/O gets rather uncomfortable and antsy.

However, after awhile they both realize that sometimes you have to step into the spotlight on your own. Together they help each other little by little to embrace people.

Spy:

He’s had shy lovers for sure, but not THIS shy.

But god damn, they’re cute. He’s just gotta crack their shell.

At first, he slyly got around their shy barrier just to figure out who they really are, and he liked what he saw.

Spy would subtly have his S/O speak for themselves, it’d be so casual that nobody would even think that his S/O was awfully shy.

If his S/O gets anxious around his teammates, Spy is more than willing to lead them to his study.

He’d offer a glass of wine, or possibly water. Then they’d sit around and read a book or even chit chat about small things until his S/O feels like going back out there.

If Spy senses that his S/O is uncomfortable or if some poser is invading their personal space, he’s there in a second to protect them.

This happens especially during big events and parties. If his S/O wants to leave without a lot of attention, Spy skillfully whisks them away into the shadows.

Spy is very caring and gentle for sure.

Engineer:

Gives the sweetest words of encouragement. He is very genuine with his words and gives meaningful hugs.

He thinks his S/O is the most adorable thing in the world and will always push them to do their best.

Knows their limits and rarely ever goes past them and feels guilty when he does. It’s all in the best interest of his S/O of course.

Will become sickeningly affectionate towards his S/O, just because he adores the hell out of them and they deserve to know how much they mean to him.

Engie will start a conversation and invite his S/O into the mix, asking them a lot of questions and opinions, just to get them out there.

If they become a bit overwhelmed Engie will let them take a breather.

He will not by any means smother his S/O with too many public interactions but he likes seeing them coming out of their shell.

Demo:

At first, he’d be really intrigued by someone who was shy, because he knows deep down that they’ve got an interesting personality.

He’d be really friendly, showing you around and introducing his future S/O to people.

He’d show them the ropes and tells them the do’s and don’t’s, creating a comfortable environment for them.

If they need any help or if they accidentally cause trouble, Demo is right by their side and will always take the blame if no one knew who caused the trouble.

Once they start dating, however, he is so so happy.

Just absolutely ecstatic.

He’ll probably avoid going to crowded places for their first few dates, just staying home or going to the movies or even a walk in the park.

Demo is severely conscious of his surroundings and gives his S/O a heads up if someone new wanted to talk to his S/O.

When his S/O starts to come out of their shell, Demo will start taking them out to more extravagant places and constantly praises them if they successfully order their food without stuttering or asks someone for directions.

Pyro:

Pyro has enough troubles with communication, but with the S/O in the mix, it becomes a lot more difficult to even begin to understand what they’re saying.

For a long time the team is convinced that the S/O is mute, but after they stuttered some words they are SHOOK.

However, the S/O can understand Pyro just fine and vice versa.

It’s almost as if they have some sort of secret language.

There’s not a whole lot of talking in the relationship anyway, they just like being together.

It’s very rare if they decide to go out for a night in the town since Pyro never actually takes off their suit.

However, this did some good because while they’re out, the S/O musters up all the courage they have and starts speaking to people. (Like, ordering food, asking how much something costs, asking people to move out of the way etc.)

Pyro claps everytime the S/O does something out of their comfort zone.

Perhaps they learn sign language too just to make things easier.

Soldier:

When Soldier addresses his crew, he’s loud, vulgar and rude, but to his S/O, he suddenly becomes the biggest and cuddliest teddy bear.

If his S/O tries to speak (which is usually in a whisper) Soldier will lean over and have them talk into his ear and he translates it back to his crew.

S/O: Since Sniper is feeling a little sick, why don’t we have Medic give him some medication?

Soldier: My sweetie plum says IF YOU’RE WHINING LIKE A BITCH OVER A LITTLE COLD THEN GET YOUR ASS INTO THE LAB FOR SOME GOD DAMN PILLS YOU MAGGOT

Everyone knows that’s not how the S/O really talks and easily forgives them because they know Soldier takes everything a bit too far.

His S/O still freaks out though, frantically apologizing and mumbling but Soldier wraps an arm around them and gives em a big ol’ kiss.

“Because of you, Sniper will be good as new! HUZZAH!” Soldier will always praise his S/O and legit thinks that they are some sort of genius. (It’s just common sense)

Because Soldier doesn’t like to go out into the world anyway, most dates will be in solitude.

Soldier is completely comfortable with his S/O and is so gentle and supportive, his S/O always gains confidence from him.

Please Believe Victims!

Something that people don't seem to understand is that it's extremely difficult to prove sexual assault. Everyone being like "bUt WhErE iS tHe PrOoF?!" doesn't seem to understand that. The fact that there was even SOME pictures of people clearly looking uncomfortable in his embrace is honestly more proof than a lot of people usually have when trying to prove sexual assault. And the fact that there's a lot of people saying things, their stories, is another thing. I've never had any experience with Vic. I've met him once, he gave me off vibes, that was it. BUT I want to talk about my own experience being sexually assaulted, and I want to explain why it's so difficult to prove. Again, this is not a Vic story. I don't want to say the name of this person. I'm not comfortable saying his name publicly. He knows a lot of people in the anime community and cosplay community. He knows very popular cosplayers, he's friends with people who staff/run conventions. No, he's not some famous guy. His following isn't giant, but he just knows a lot of important people. That aside, here we go. I met this guy when I was 17, and I finally cut ties with him a bit after my 21st birthday. We met at a cosplay gathering, I was cosplaying Jin from Blazblue. He approached me because he knew of Blazblue, and we were having a nice chat about it. I barely knew this guy, but man I was super delighted to meet a fellow Blazblue fan. I don't exactly remember who he was cosplaying, but I'm 90% sure it was Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts. I also want to mention I believe he was 21 or 22 at the time; so an adult. Nothing uncomfortable happened, until we were all called for group photos. All the cosplayers at the gathering went over for photos, us included. A bit after the photos, when we were more alone (one of my friends was also there), he grabbed my ass. And not just once, a few times. He spanked me too. I didn't really know what to do, I was surprised, terrified, I looked clearly uncomfortable, but I really didn't say anything. I kinda just pretended it didn't happen. I really hoped I'd never see this guy again, but I kept seeing him at cosplay gatherings. There was one gathering around Christmas that same year, I was in my really shitty magnemite gijinka cosplay, and he just kept spanking me so many times. I told him to stop at that point. Not only was it uncomfortable, but it hurt, it startled me each time too. I don't like getting startled. He started to pout and act like he should be pitted, and it genuinely made me angry. I tried to avoid a lot of gatherings for a bit, but then there was this Homestuck one my friend and I went to. I was never into Homestuck, but we just decided to go. I went as Sougo from Gintama, but in a kigurumi (since my full cosplay didn't arrive yet). And that guy was there, so was his girlfriend (who btw was underage at the time). For a good amount of the gathering, he was okay. I thought "yeah, maybe he's finally gonna stop." We all hung out because we didn't really fit in with the Homestucks. A bit later on in the gathering, he had his hand behind my back, and he was trying to sneakily undo my bra strap. Thank god I caught him + thank god I was wearing ace bandages for binding (NOTE: don't use ace bandages to bind!). So like :/ He also would message me on facebook, and I was scared.. So I put myself in a relationship with a fictional character (Gray Fullbuster, because I used to be mad thirsty for him). That didn't work for obvious reasons, so I turned my chat off, so it looked like I was offline. >> obviously...didn't work.. After that gathering, I'd see him at cons. Thank GOD at least that one year, he was busy running around. I didn't have to deal with him. My friend's birthday came around, and I guess he was invited or something. I don't 100% remember everything from that day, but I was cosplaying gijinka shaymin. After the birthday gathering, we went over to Ihop (might have been Denny's, but they're super similar so). And he sat next to me (of course). I was put in a very uncomfortable situation. I have my phone on me, he asked for my number, and I was too scared to say no. I did say "I rarely text, so I don't think there's a point." He obviously didn't care. We exchanged numbers. The entire time we were eating, he kept texting me stuff. I ignored it, and he'd be like "hey check your text". He asked for nudes, and I whispered "I'm not that kinda person". and he kept whisper begging me "just one little peek? just one?" and don't worry, I never sent it to him. Also unfortunately, this was on a very old flip phone. idk where it is or how I can recover these text messages (or if it's even possible), but if anyone knows how, please tell me. Then there was a summer gathering. I guess my friends and one of his friends were really uncomfortable with his behavior towards me, and all decided to team up to confront him about it. I guess he had this weird fixation on me for whatever reason. There's stuff I still don't know about the conversation they all had, idk everything his friend knew (btw this friend of his is still a very good friend of mine, bless his soul). So I was there when this confrontation happened, he was like "sorry, I'll never do it again." I said "it's okay, I forgive you." Because I'm an anxious wreck and hate conflict. OBVIOUSLY, this wasn't the last of it. It got a whole the worse. So after my 18th birthday, there was an end of the summer gathering. I was in my Sougo cosplay. I was playing Pokemon on the grass, and he came over. (btw he did grope me a few times throughout the day, but I honestly can't fucking remember each time he groped me throughout the time I knew him, so I'm just telling significant parts of the story). And he tried to touch in between my legs. I clearly remember that time, I said "no". It was in a small voice, but I said it, he heard it, and he didn't stop. Also something I forgot to mention. He'd often call me sexy an be like "I want to kiss you" or "I want to have sex with you" whenever less people were around, and it was so uncomfortable. Thankfully, one of my guy friends at the time saw and came over. He was like "Hey, you're playing Pokemon, right? Can you show me your Pokemon?" and he pulled me away, and asked if I was okay, promised to stick with me for the rest of the gathering. But that guy friend helped me convince her not to go. That whole situation is something I'll never forget, and I'm so happy this guy friend was there. But it just kept getting worse. << gonna flash forward to when I was in college, because this was when a lot of the bad stuff started happening. I was really depressed when I started college. I mean like a lot of people are? I felt like I was undeserving, I was sad I wasn't a kid anymore, and I was terrified of being an adult. I'd cry a lot in the car before class. I didn't really talk to people at school. I felt super mega alone all the time. Like when you're in high school, you get to see friends every single day, but since I knew no one, well.. :/ That and I was way too anxious to talk to anyone unless approached first (surprise surprise, I'm still this way Dx ) Anyways, the only time I'd get to see friends was sometimes on weekends, it wasn't too often at first, since my friends were all super busy and stuff. I saw that gross person at a cosplay gathering, I was cosplayed as Chihiro from Danganronpa. And like.. he wasn't be really weird to me. He was being nice, normal, nothing creepy. And I got comfortable. We started messaging a little bit on facebook, and he wasn't being weird. I thought he changed. And for a few times after, he wasn't doing anything weird either. My dumbass agreed to hang out with him and his girlfriend, and even then, even the first few times, it was a completely normal hangout. I thought he might have grew out of that. Because I genuinely believe people can change, but it was all a lie. I believe he was trying to pull me in, get me comfortable, so that I would lower my guard. He even would pay for my food, despite me insisting I could. He'd also pay for things I'd try to buy on my own, and refused to take my money. I thought "wow, he's being a nice person." Eventually, he started making sexual jokes. I thought nothing of it, but that should have been a huge red flag. He eventually started touching me again, even with his girlfriend around. She never did a thing about it, but maybe she was scared (btw same girlfriend I mentioned earlier. The one he dated when she was underage; she was the same age as me). Touching like.. he'd grope my boobs, my ass, slide his hand between my legs, try to reach under my shirt/pants. He'd say so often "I want to have sex with you", "I want to have a threesome". and would ask me what my fetishes were (never said it), and just like.. super gross stuff. But I was a big dumbass. I stuck with this for years. Dealt with it because he was nice to me. I'd think "well, it wasn't happening all the time, so if it happened, it would be over within a minute probably". Whenever he'd do something, I'd freeze up outta fear and count in my head. Sometimes it lasted 10 seconds, sometimes a few minutes. I dealt with it because he was nice to me, and I was so insecure. My mom and grandma didn't know about this at all. Once my mom almost found out. She saw a weird facebook message on my laptop while I wasn't in the room (I left messages open on my screen), and she asked me. I lied to her, and she kept asking. I kept lying and convinced her it was just a joke. I remember this one thing he told me, I was 20. He was talking about someone he used to be friends with. How he'd do this stuff to her, and she'd just pretend like it wasn't happening too. He told me he thought it was cute how I'd get all stiff and act like it wasn't happening. That's really fucking disgusting. He started getting upset with me because I made some more friends, and we started hanging out, he wasn't invited of course. Especially my second year of AX. Oh gosh I also witnessed him verbally abusing his girlfriend, but I won't go into that right now. But it was terrifying. I witnessed it happen a few times. And idk if I ever publicly talked about my triggers. But angry screaming is very triggering to me, so erhdcj. Anyways, after my 21st birthday, my friend and I went to a mini convention. There was a contest, I misunderstood what she said and thought she wanted me to keep the whole thing a secret from everyone. So I told no one where I was going, I was even like "hey mom, my friend and I are gonna go to LT!" and she was like "Cool". So that whole day was a bunch of fun. One of our friends took pictures and posted it, and that gross man (who wasn't there, didn't know I was going) messaged me a sad face. I genuinely didn't know what was wrong, so I asked him. He was very angry that I didn't tell him where I was going, like that was something I was supposed to do. This anger scared me, so I distanced myself for a bit. He started purposely doing things on social media to make me upset, one including my fb name being reported (still convinced it was him, because the fact that it didn't happen until this is just so strange). Then there was this event I was supposed to host that came up. I was.. terrified he was gonna go, so terrified I had an anxiety attack in my room. And my mom came into this worried, and that was the day I told her everything, all the stuff that man did. And god I was terrified she wasn't going to believe me, that she was going to get angry at me, but when she gently pulled me into her arms and hugged me close.. it was.. a very nice feeling. I didn't go to the gathering, another friend of mine hosted it for me instead. And then a convention months later happened. Previously I talked to his girlfriend about it. and she was being an apologist for him. He tried to approach me at the con, I walked away. He messaged me, and I officially cut ties with him. Despite no longer having ties with that terrible human being. I'd see him at so many events. And he'd purposely do things to make me uncomfortable. Like waving at me, or going up to people who were close by me. He even tried to recently friend my noncosplay fb, which I forgot to block him on. *DEEP BREATH* And I never reported him. I was afraid to. I thought about it so many times, but I thought "wow, what proof do I even have?" I have a few weird facebook messages, but those could have easily just been pushed aside because they really weren't much. I don't have pictures of him doing anything. I don't have video. There was witnesses, yes. But that's just someone's word, yeah? He also knew so many people, so many important people.. So many sexual assault cases are like this. People are too afraid to report because they're scared they won't be believed (I mean, look at how many people who are calling those who're coming out about Vic liars?). Because when victims look around, all they see are the various situations in which people try to report someone, and they're not believed. Companies, communities, authorities not taking them seriously. In so many sexual assault cases, there's not going to be video proof, picture proof, voice recordings, screenshots, etc. It's usually just someone's word, someone's experience. And I get that's not much, but consider this. When there's SO MANY PEOPLE saying the same fucking thing about someone, such as in Vic's case, that's a giant red flag. And when things are being said for years, that's not enough? LOOK AT HOW MANY PEOPLE CAME FORWARD ABOUT VIC! LOOK HOW LONG THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR!!! In my case, with the person I was talking about in my story, the gross man.. I've heard people have reported him to con staff, people have tried to say things (he's done stuff to a lot of people), but nothing has ever happened. No punishment, nothing. He's nice to people on the surface. He's good at talking. He's made people happy. I'm sure there's people who'd be like "wow _____ did nothing wrong because he's so nice to me uwu". He knows a lot of people. I've heard he's also ruined people too. What's the point of all this? Yes, Vic is good at playing nice. He knows how to say things people want to hear, he knows how to act in such a way so that he looks like a good guy. I mean, why else would there be so many posts in the #KickVic tag of people being like "Vic did nothing wrong. Here's a picture of me and Vic hugging uwu he's so nice." I want to end this by saying.. Sometimes the nicest people turn out to be the worst people. And I get it's something hard to take in, I get it's hard not to be in denial. But the proof is out there. I know it's not video proof or stuff like that, but the voices of so many people screaming about this for over a decade should be enough. Why the fuck would THAT many people, voice actors included, spend over a decade plotting his downfall? That shit doesn't make sense. Like seriously.. the amount of people who've been coming out about Vic Lasagna is a lot, and it's been going on for over a decade. Think about that.

so! week 2 and my plan honestly is to just really still focus on my social relationships. so far, i feel very confident in my ability to connect with people on a 1 to 1 level, and at least hopefully skate through these first few weeks. consistently my problem in the game is missing out on a key group or alliance that is running more than I know. without being too chaotic and paranoid, i would really really like to try to sit here and just scope out the relationships. as for my groups! i really want to work with jennet. she's like iconic? her art is so cute and i do feel like i made a genuine connection with her early on, and i think pointing out we're some of the only award winners in the cast could bring us closer together ! plus 4th place legends... beyond jennet, i have a group with isaac and nicole, and honestly, im feeling suprisingly good about both. i think these first 6 people i mention are the ones im going to focus on most, and focus on really forming game connection wheras the rest im just socially going to really force myself into their LIVES and hope they like me! Daisy and Jarod... loves them and swifties who ive played with in the past both in a way that i feel we were unfinished. jarod got taken out in the doubles round just as we kinda connected on a game level, and then daisy and i were working together in bb netflix before it got canceled. this is really the group i want to strategize with and im really putting myself on a limb being loyal to them because i know they have options, but its a risk im willing to take because if i can be the number 1, their connections can just offer more safety and information for myself. and the final people who i kinda want to work with is captain and wiliam xavier s up there, we just havent spoken tons dont really have much of an opinion on the others? if i had to nominate right now it might be mario just because we havent spoken yet.

It's annoying to be nominated, especially by Jennet. Literally two minutes before we were talking and I was explaining how this round is played. And then Jennet nominates me. I feel betrayed. Getting my G4ce together (Greenhouse 4) so we can vote as a team. And well, well, well, I just found out that the Sequester 4 are also voting together. It is weird that they are all nominated during the Sequester round. They are targeting either Wyatt or Kaleigh. Knowing they are a team, I want one of them out, if I can swing it quietly.

HI I’m back and already went through a ton! Last round a misunderstanding / Lanie throwing me under the bus just because I said I hadn’t spoken to Nyx and Captain really set me up in a weird spot so I had to get rid of Lanie and then she said we all suck (imagine being almost 30 and telling someone who is your students age that they suck! I get it really is terrible to be blindsided but it was her fault, she played too fast! Like yell at me for not communicating properly or whatever she believed I did at that point but don’t take it out on everyone especially like the youngest player in the game!) Anyway, this round is sequester so we are all back together! I finally get to play with Daisy! I love her so much so I’m super glad we got to play, I’m very glad I get to reunite with Lindsay, I’m glad William isn’t mad at me for the whole Lanie situation and now I’m safe for the first vote! It is a very good feeling but I also feel like I should be learning from Lanie’s mistake and playing not fast so I’m trying to take a step back from talking in the house chat. I’m just so excited to see everyone but I will try to contain myself so I don’t annoy anyone. Check back in later in the round!!!

I forget the questions omg but I had a call with Jarod where he kinda threw out wyatts name as an option to go, and honestly I’m completely fine with that because even though they seem super sweet, I feel like I’m juggling enough balls and I don’t need to add them into my mix, whereas I feel a lot better about every other nominee other than Kaleigh, who I don’t think anybody would do this early My strategy is to just campaign for myself to stay to everybody and avoid throwing out names. I’m hoping that comes from Jarod or one of the safe people because they literally have the safety to get away with it

hello dr.. so i'm glad i got saved by jarod :pleading_face: he rlly said i'm gonna make captain safe no matter what happens. and thats exactly what he did :100: for ppl who are vulnerable, i want autumn, jarod and xavier to be safe the most like idc i just want 3 of them to be safe. xavier might be in a bit of trouble tho since the totem pole ppl are voting together for sure hmmm so i need to try to talk to them to sway them from voting xavier. for the plans to avoid battle match? idk i just want them to feel safe around me no matter what. so that if i end up voting them, they're not gonna be bitter at me that much. and i lowkey saved myself with wyatt since wyatt said they wanted to work with me so prays.

also, i secured an alliance with jarod, autumn and jennet. and a greenhouse alliance with mario, nyx and xavier. the latter hasn't been in the talk like with every greenhouse yet but xavier brought it up to me and i think that it should be great. so fingers crossed!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, going into Round 2 im having a really big struggle..... im seeing  THAT I DONT DISLIKE A SINGLE PERSON ON THIS CAST, USUALLY THERE IS AT LEAST ONE BUT NOPE    Also we are moving into a Sequester sorta semi safety chain with half vulnerable and half safe cast and lucky me I think Lanie either hated me the most or the least from our Survivor team and decided to give me the Karma twist which gave me safety for the round but made me have to pick the first unsafe out of the whole cast. I think my strategy was to pick someone who didn't talk to me yet (so i had a reason) as well as someone who was sorta loved by most if not all and wasn't a target for it, because I'm thinking if I just fade into the background this round no one would have a need or want to pick me for the Battlematch, i think its safe to assume whoever goes home will pick the person who made them unsafe plus like one other person, so i just have to avoid being that other 1/13 people. As for the vote i have no clue at all, I think maybe Isaac cause i haven't said much to him at all, or maybe Jarod cause i know he is hella busy and prob wont pick me to go into battle..... just not Wyatt or Blake or Kaleigh rn.  So like yeah, just gonna pray, not talk around too too much, let people come to me so it doesnt seem like im pushing anyones name and hopefully vote someone i dont love out. yeah so much fun xoxo William F

So, this round is pretty confusing and difficult to navigate cause not only do we have to vote someone out we have to vote someone out and hope they don't drag us into the battleback. I'm very happy to be safe for the vote since at least then i'll have a chance to battleback in a comp. So, for this vote I can't vote Autumn since she gave me safety, I can't vote Jarod since he took one for the team, I can't vote Xavier cause of the gh alliance, I can't vote Blake due to our bonding on tau ceti, so my only real options for this vote are Isaac, Wyatt, and Kaleigh. If I had my way i'd just pile the votes on wyatt and get them out now but it's not that easy because i haven't talked as much and they could see that as incentive to drag me in. Of course all the people I just mentioned I don't wanna vote for I wanna save because that means they'll be willing to work with me to some capacity. To avoid the battle match is the hardest part cause people can be very impulsive with their decisions and heat of the moment always catches people off guard. My best bet is just not to make too many promises and to just tell the truth and hopefully that'll be enough to gain their respect.

Ok this vote is messy. It started out with Jarod and the Sequester group wanting to vote Kaleigh. They got people on board, and it looked good. Until Wyatt made that alliance chat. And of course the vote shifted to Isaac. But the Sequester group won't vote Isaac. Mario voted Autumn. Captain voted Wyatt. I am voting Kaleigh because I haven't spoken to her much. But I want the vote to go Isaac's way - it breaks up Sequester, and he won't think it was me, so safe from the battle. So it may be 5 on Kaleigh, unless the other people in that Alliance chat are not being honest as well. Ha ha. As long as it's not me, right?!
