I had two exams this week – psychology on Monday and TEFL yesterday, and I hope they both went alright! Taking the exams also meant being on campus for the 2nd and 3rd time ever, which was nice. Maybe next semester, I can actually go there for classes as well…

After my second exam, I walked over to the lake nearby and spent some time reading and looking out at the water to unwind. The buildings of this campus might be slowly falling apart thanks to chronic under-funding, but I love having an actual campus at all (my bachelor's classes all just took place in various buildings around town…) and how central it is in the city!

It’s been a week or so since I last posted, oops. It always gets a bit busy when the exams actually start. Sorry for that!

On Wednesday I had two exams of advanced organic chemistry. The exercise exam went really well in my opinion, the theory exam also when okay. Yesterday I had the resit exam of physical chemistry, and tbh I think I will have to retake this class next year. Both the exercise and theory exam were really hard!

Now I’m studying for the resit exam of chemical process technology that takes place on Friday. Luckily I have a week to study for it, because today I had a really hard time concentrating. idk why, I did sleep well.

Anyways, after dinner I’m going to redo my nails, since I know I won’t accomplish a lot of studying after dinner since the whole day was just meh.

A worthwhile reminder for anyone feeling down- the future is worth sticking around for, and the best is yet to come. 

The uni semester is over and I’ve just recently received my marks. I got my first overall High Distinction! Really aced my short story writing unit. It gives me confidence for my future; hopefully I can work in the publishing/editing/authoring world.

i actually live at home now and commute to school every day, but i lived in a dorm in the second semester of my freshman year of college! i think that my favorite part of my dorm was my desk. i spent most of my time there, and it was where i studied, did my homework, cried over difficult assignments, stayed up until 1am writing papers, pondered my life choices, blasted my music when my roommates were gone, ate breakfast every morning because the dining hall near my building wouldn’t open until around 8am and i had to get up before then, and played indie games and caught up on my favorite tv shows during my free time. overall, i had a pretty good dorm experience!

my favorite part of my room at home is my bed. of course, i still spend most of my time at my desk, but my bed is so nice and comfy, and it always feel great to lay down on it and go to sleep when i’m finally done with my work for the day. :)

compliment: i really like the simplicity of your desktop theme, and your original content is lovely! i saw your 36 days of self care challenge, and it looks like something that i might try someday!

Hi, you can call me Sapphoe, (after the Lesbian Greek poet- Sappho). My pronouns are they/them. I'm 19 y/o (24th May). I'm in First-year college doing a B.Tech in Computer Science (Hons.) with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Geometry and ice cream isn't a bad way to start off the week. Plus, a picture of my D&D character that I printed out and coloured in on Saturday, and the lunch that I prepared for today.

I got through so many of my maths lectures today! Maybe actually taking two full days off instead of planning to do work over the weekend and then feeling bad for not doing it is actually good for you. Who'd have thought…

I passed my driver’s license exam yesterday!! I’m so happy! On Tuesday I’ll have my card and I can officially drive alone. It’s amazing that I won’t depend on my parents/boyfriend/public transit/my bike. It’s a new level of independence :)

Unfortunately today wasn’t a good studyday. I think I have a bit of a burn-out? I don’t have the motivation to do anything, but I’m also stressed when I do nothing if you know what I mean. I tried to study some advanced chemical analysis today, and I’ll try to finish a lab preparation tonight.
