it makes me very sad that I can count on one hand how many of my close friends haven’t 1. spouted misinformation (blood libel really, but when you say “blood libel” around the goyim they start crying) or 2. said something overtly genocidal about Jews in the last few months. i’m really struggling to keep a positive attitude and i’ve found myself isolating from my friends, even the ones who haven’t said anything bad yet, because I don’t want to be around when they do. I just have to keep making excuses for their ignorance, and it’s exhausting. Crazy how none of the “educate yourselves!!!” rhetoric ever applies to Jews and antisemitism-the burden is always on Jews to ensure that we aren’t being slandered or oppressed.

i finally got up the energy to watch the john oliver segment on the west bank (i normally like his stuff/opinions but anything about i/p is such a fucking landmine for me these days) and by the end of it my fiancé who was sitting next to me was like “we can stop. we can turn it off if it’s making you this mad” but i was so rage-invested that i watched until the end.
i HATE that the entire segment is ostensibly about the current status quo in the west bank (judea and samaria for anybody with any historical fucking knowledge of the area) and never mentions the palestinian authority ONCE. he accuses israel of apartheid as if they are the only people with any control over what happens in the west bank and as if the pa is like. a fairytale that doesn’t actually exist and have real sovereign powers over their areas in the west bank. it’s so gross!! it made me feel so gross!! because without discussing the pas role in the current status quo (or even WHY the current status quo is the way that it is) you CANT have a real conversation about the west bank. it’s just so disingenuous. you can criticize what is happening there without presenting a one-sided narrative that only addresses israel’s role and places all the blame on them. he DID mention the 6 day war but FAILED to mention WHY it was fought/who it was actually fought with, making it seem like israel just attacked the poor palestinians and annexed their land for no reason!! not because they were attacked by multiple surrounding countries on the holiest day of our fucking year!! mentioning that or even acknowledging israelis as having any humanity apparently makes you one of (((them)))
there were a lot of moments that were good, and then so many that were thinly veiled condescension towards any jewish audience members—like he DID mention christian zionists and how gross they can be, and then essentially chastised jews for taking support from them?? which. ok buddy that’s not really an issue you’ve demonstrated yourself qualified to speak on. i know my synagogue works with a local christian zionist organization and it’s probably because who the fuck else is willing to help us!!! really!!! you point out that our only allies don’t actually want to help us (like we don’t fucking know that) without an OUNCE of reflection as to WHY jews might be working with people who openly state that they want us to be converted by j. chrizzy during the rapture. you don’t have to tell us why that’s bad we fucking know!! please call me up when you have any other organizations with money and political power in the us who are willing to do even the slightest fucking thing to assist jewish communities!! i’ll die waiting!!
it’s just. the lack of concern for presenting a nuanced depiction of what is happening in the west bank all while pretending to be presenting a nuanced and well-researched (lmao) depiction of the west back. yes they did some things right (citing israeli sources, finding israeli and palestinian people talking about it instead of secondary sources, no al j. in sight) and that actually makes me ANGRIER because it shows that they could have spent the proper time breaking this down! they clearly have the research skill for this over there! there is NO WAY, in all their time spent on b’tselem (source they actually cited which i was impressed by considering i didn’t know non jewish americans knew abt them) that they didn’t run across a single article about the pas role in the current status quo in the west bank. you can’t break down what areas a b and c are without also understanding the pas role in that. there’s just so much that’s not there that should be and it’s so infuriating because you know that it was a choice. they know about the pa. they know why the wall was built and why the checkpoints are in place. they just don’t fucking care. he cites the number of israelis killed in a period of years and then points out that ten times that number of palestinians were killed in the same timeframe. which is so gross!! let’s not compare piles of corpses to determine moral superiority thanks!! and presenting those numbers devoid of any context other than “many of them [palestinians] were killed by israeli security forces” only serves to minimize israeli suffering and concern for their safety while ALSO minimizing legitimate palestinian suffering by lumping in victims of anti-arab hate crimes with terrorists killed by the military. it’s gross and patronizing and for all the jokes he makes about shit he can’t talk about as a british american he is sure running his fucking mouth
i just wish people would stop trying to condense this conflict down into something that’s easily digestible and consumable in less than 30 minutes. there are horrible people on both sides and refusing to acknowledge that stops the conversation before it can start. all this did was further villainize israel in the minds of armchair expert leftists (since john is like a king to them) and contribute absolutely nothing meaningful or interesting to the conversation. it’s just regurgitated uncontextualized pseudo intellectual bullshit. i’m an english teacher i can sniff a pile when i see one. i rlly wish leftists would just. leave us alone already. new year is coming up and i’m trying to find it in my heart to forgive you know? but fuck that. i’m so sick of goyim talking down to us about this issue while simultaneously being the most misinformed fucks (whether by choice or sheer stupidity) to walk g-ds green earth. i guess i’m just tired.

I’m South African and American. I never planned on voting because I didn’t like Biden anyways (and fuck trump), but I always saw his as like a “better option” than Trump. Now I’m just not voting. Fuck that. Genocide Imperialist Joe needs to fuck off. These politicians are sick, they’re like weeds or cockroaches.
Then vote locally and look at your Congressional voting sessions monthly. Even weekly if you must. Some seats are up for voting every year! congress is responsible for the war budgeting and the president cannot lead the country into war independently nor without congressional approval--since they control that war budget--AND it is part of Congress' legal right in the check and balances system of American government.
Look up what you can do once you find yourself in corners. There are probably ways you can start to understand how you can dig yourself and help others to dig themselves out of that hopelessness from seeing limited voting options in terms of candidates due to corrupt nominees or presidential candidates.
The thing is, anon, once you don't vote, you're also giving much more room to those who are actively trying to block certain people (who may look like you, if you're any darker than the translucency of white people) from voting. Biden is not exempt from the things I will list below, but in an era where more and more control is being stripped away from individuals, the answer isn't to give up more of the little control you do have. And you do not need to vote Democrat or for Biden! That will be essentially lying in the dirt road, closing your eyes, and waiting for a death you still could at least roll yourself away into the edge from. There's a reason why many PoCs and women have fought for the right to vote for basically all of American history--if you have nothing, they have everything and they will use it against you.
The following is part of the past version of this post
This was supposed to b an explanation for why people were and are convinced that voting for Biden was the best bet:
There will be more votes for the "worse" candidate than the "better" one. If anything, Trump winning should have clued people in on that fact. One big reason why he won was because not enough people old enough who didn't, at least, want Trump, to actually go out and vote. Some out of their own volition and political lethargy than actually being blocked (at least from what's reported). And after Trump's election/being backed more by right-winged companies and Christofascists, we see more politicians employ the same sort of vote suppression because not everyone cannot remain stupid or apathetic forever, and the many in the generation who couldn't vote but can now or have been after Trump is a lot more energetic but also concious that they must remain politically concious. They've witnessed atrocities like the aftermath of pipelines and train crashes polluting their towns and native water supplies. They've seen Gerroge Floyd, climate change, and how companies are adamant about ignoring its effect on them and how it limits their future options not just economically but personally (can they have a family, for example). And of course, they saw how Trump's blatant stupidity and self-centered grossness were basically spearheading this particular Christofacism, as I mentioned, which is itself guiding a lot of decisions toward abortion rights and how people should or shouldn't look at Hamas and the Palestinian genocide.
In other words, it's understandable why one would be tired, but that's also what they are banking on. Roe v Wade was itself not a codified law and was a measure to give women little autonomy over their own bodies and now that's been taken away. The answer is not to then let them take no-fault divorce, yes? Then you'd be inviting more disaster and then it really is some of your fault. You need to vote for people you need, research, and convince others who may not know or be indoctrinated into voting alone. Perhaps be much more active by joining campaigns, protests, rallies, etc.
Yes, this should clue us all in that Biden and people you find out are like him (Democrats and other moderates) should not be the next president. Know who your candidates are and before elections for presidents, vote in lower elections so you have people you feel are not like Biden so those will be the only one(s) in the final ones.

non-exhaustive list of phrases seen today, some on posts complexity unrelated to any of these things, which gets the block button in response (unfortunately, blocking irl for shit like this is harder to do)
'this and [other instagram] are great sources on how awful zionazis are'
'omg your scarf is sooo cute but like isn't it oppressive and you should fight back for your rights, no pressure tho'
'we should spit on all jews we see just in case they're one of the supporters of genocide'
'from the river to the sea is just a phrase'
'everyone should report [user] for obvious reasons [israeli +/ palestinaian flag in bio] [+/ hebrew +/ arabic words]'
'quick question but are you jewish or are you normal'
'fuck off with that chosen people, am yisrael chai bullshit'
'yeah idk i only skimmed it but reblogging for reach i seems important guys'
'mabye im spelling it wrong but [person with vaguely nonwhite name] is a terrorist and [you shouldn't support them]'
'but which side are you really on because either you want to wipe out an entire civilization or you support a two-state solution condemning the world'
'im not there or an expert but i trust this is a valid opinion bc the account is followed by my smart friends'
'unable to link now but check out [this tiktok] of how [somewhat prominent jewish person living in the uk] is acshully a settler who killed palestinians to take their house'
'sorrrrry idk if im explaining this right?? but [wildly unsubstantiated, widespread conspiracy theory] is like super important to be aware of you guys'
'how dare you [read/watch/listen to something] made by [person who has explicitly said they are in support of human rights and acknowledges that there isn't an easy one side or the other answer] who is pro occupation'
'you should commit suicide and then maybe your family will become normal about the conflict and see the truth instead of listening to your trash'
'friendly reminder that [person] said [statement which is very easy to search and find that they said something close to the opposite] so you should hate them but not sure didnt do as much research'
y'all can't even be bothered to check something as basic as someone's name, no wonder you are so content with sharing neat little infographics and being in an echo chamber of slogans that do fuck all for the people who are actively in danger and sometimes, believe it or not, you make things worse.
excuses of 'oh i'm a minor' (<- even if you are, it's kinda irrelevant and internet safety 101 is don't advocate that) or 'i don't actually live there but heard something like this from [random mutual]' (<- continues to talk over people who actually do and/or people who have experienced these things) or 'bestie how am i supposed to know who is a bad source' (<- that's condescending, not cute, and maybe if you asked genuinely people would have patience to walk you through basic literacy and comprehension exercises) or 'well what are you doing to help' (<- gotchas aren't cool, especially when your version of help is actually hate speech) or 'okay even if i was foggy on the details the point is the same' (<- how do you reach the same conclusion when the information shows a drastically different narrative than the first one) etc. are flimsy and frustrating

Hello my name is Mohamad smeer I’m 19 medical student palestinin from Gaza Now I study medicine in Egypt and my family in north of gaza I need some money from living and for university I see that I’m starting lose my dream So I did this compgin plz if u can help me every dollar make difference for me
Thank u ❤️
https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-me-in-completing-my-medical-studies-please
Note !! the currency : Astralian dollar target is 7000USD for 2 years
Now we are 800Aud around 500$
Can we reach 1000Aud
I'm highly suspicious of anyone asking me for money over the internet.
GoFundMe is not supported in Egypt, but I see that your fundraiser is organised by someone called Uthman Khodair, in Australia. What is the plan for getting a substantial amount of money from Australia to Cairo? I know from horrid personal experience that moving large amounts of money from country to country can be difficult.
The only things about Uthman Khodair I could find were like three facebook posts, all images, and multiple GoFundMes, all claiming to be on behalf of Palestinians. None of them explained things like who Uthman Khodair is or how the money would get back to Cairo/Gaza/wherever, so donors can be sure their hard-earned money is actually going to help who they want it to help. One of these fundraisers was for seventy five thousand AUD. Another was for twice that.
You also said, in the GoFundMe, that the money would be used transparently. What do you plan to use it for? How much is your tuition and living expenses, and how far will this money go to cover them?
I can also see that your blog only goes back five days, and a majority of your posts are this same copy-pasted ask that other people (well-meaning, I am sure) answered.
The point here is that there is no way I can trust you, a stranger on the internet, no matter how much I might want to help. I am, to be blunt, a poor as fuck student, and should I decide to donate to any cause, I would either do it to someone I know personally or to a reputable agency that I had researched myself.

so I was talking to my friend @timelordthirteen about some shit and I decided to just share with you all about the importance of actually explaining shit instead of just saying it. the Left, I am looking at you bitch (ily bitch but)
lol would put a read more but tumblr's being a petty little bitch today ❤
shitposting is fun. dunking on asshat right wingers is fun. you know what is not fun? seeing people not understand the basic terminology that we use in the ~discourse*
but. if we are going to use terminology, if we are going to inject regular old laypeople conversations with (imo) unneccessary amounts of academic terms, then we should try to use them correctly** because in many cases misusing them means we as leftists do not have a full understanding of what the fuck we're on about. this dilutes both the meanings of these terms and their purposes. I know I am wordy as fuck and can be hard to understand sometimes (thanks adhd) so what I am about to say is a little ironic, but clarity is fucking important when it comes to strategy and organizing.
so I am going to examine some commonly misused concepts and terms today. yay.
1. THEORY, PRAXIS AND FRAMEWORKS FOR ANALYSIS weeee yes I am fun at parties tyvm
what is a framework? a structure, in this case, for analyzing some bullshit we deal with irl. that's it lol but I use it a lot so I figured I'd define it here. examples of frameworks are: intersectionality, marxism, queer theory. seriously, if you can think it, it has already been analyzed through the queer lens.
what is theory? ideas, knowledge in the abstract based on looking at shit happen and analyzing that shit. it is useful because it can help us articulate what we are going through in our shitty lives. this is why I often recommend people learn about chomsky's manufacturing consent (theory of why we get the info we get from the media tl;dr), not because I think chomsky is the ultimate leftist grandpa but because this site needs some media literacy lmao. and btw, this clip narrated by amy goodman is a great, trippy little 4:30 min long video that explains the basics of manufacturing consent so you don't have to open a book or use drugs!
theory can help serve as a framework to understand what the fuck is happening to us irl, but imo is kind of an incomplete understanding of shit without lived experience (aka - theory v praxis). this is one reason why we should listen to marginalized groups on their own shit and not talk over them - because all of the research and theory in the world does not make me a Black woman living in Flint (aka - ground up organizing v technocracy). it is not about being nice, or politically correct, although we should be nice and we should care about people just because they're people. if you understand the why of listening to marginalized groups, you understand that it is mainly about communities knowing their own problems best and therefore having the best solutions for those problems.
2. MARXISM, CAPITALISM AND OTHER BUZZWORDS (and leftists need hobbies)
so marxism is a framework for socioeconomic analysis observed by mr kpop himself, karl marx (and his sugar daddy friedrich engels). because leftists love to argue, there are so many kinds of marxism, and if you ever feel like you are shouting into the void too much, just look up some arguments between stalinists and trotskyists. it's just... magical. no, I am not defining tankie here.
as many people smarter than I am have said (read: kwame ture seriously watch this video it's iconic), karl marx did not discover socialism or invent it or whatever, he observed capitalism and saw how shitty it is, like any other sane person would do. the point of marxism is not karl marx (which he would say) or tankies or fuckin guillotines***
things that marxism is:
- an analytical tool for looking at the world
- a theory which was used to develop the basis of different kinds of post-capitalist economic systems like communism and socialism
things that marxism is not:
- a system of economics or government lmao marx did not govern dick
- scary
marx looked at capitalism and said "this is definitely gonna fail someday because it's clearly unsustainable, I mean the proletariat is bigger than the bourgeoisie who owns everything uh yeah so I can do basic fucking math. if I have one capitalist and fifteen hundred workers, eventually that capitalist is gonna lose his damn head because he is gonna hoard all that wealth and his workers are gonna get pissed that they don't have their basic fucking needs met. lmao now put on some kpop, freddy" or something. idk that might not be a direct quote.
what is capitalism? (besides horseshit) a system of economics where industry is privately owned. and yes, this includes publically traded corporations because they are still owned by individuals (shareholders) even if they aren't privately owned by one person or a group of partners. truly a nightmare to live in, and we hate to see it.
what is the proletariat? well, the working class. and the bourgeoisie is the owner class, the capitalist class. the rich.
and this is something else that we need to discuss, tumblr. if you are going to say "eat the rich" please understand who you are talking about. we're not talking about random actors or musicians, or doctors or lawyers, even if they make better than a liveable wage. even if they often have zero class consciousness, meaning they don't ~see class, like colorblind racism for classism.
anyone who has to sell their labor for wages and is not part of the owner class is working class. this includes people who cannot work for any multitude of reasons (disability, can't find work, caretaker, etc) and also white collar workers who might be well off in relatively high paying jobs because they don't own the means of production, or capital that is used to produce shit. so yes, that rich actor who is a part of a union is actually part of the working class in marxist theory. when we say eat the rich, we mean jeff bezos, not john boyega. jeff bezos owns the means of production. john boyega is a working actor who is in a union.
this is important not because we shouldn't get pissed off when actors and celebrities do tone deaf shit like singing about imagining no possessions in their mansions while people starve during a pandemic. they need to put their money to good use, have some class consciousness, instead of asking fans to donate to causes that they could fund. but they are not the bourgeoisie until they start owning the means of production. and there is no doubt that many of them do, which is why we might eat gwyneth paltrow but we won't eat john boyega.
and by the way, eating the rich is metaphorical, a reference to french revolution-era philosopher jean-jacques rousseau's quote: "when the people shall have nothing more to eat, they will eat the rich." obviously I don't even need to explain it but I will anyway. basically, the people will forcibly redistribute the wealth of the rich if they have nothing else. this is why there are some very smart capitalists who are in favor of reforms and raising taxes, because they recognize the danger to their necks in not providing for basic needs of the working class. no, "eat the rich" does not mean be pro-cannibalism. but there are many capitalists who would prefer to die than lose their hoard so
oh, and one last thing. "no ethical consumption in capitalism" is tossed around a lot and it's a million percent true, but I need all of us to understand that it is not an excuse to support harmful practices but it is also not meant to shame consumers. it is rather an understanding that we as consumers are not responsible for the monstrous impact of capitalism. we live in it, we have no choice but to consume, and sometimes (most of the time) that means we have to buy shit that was produced in unethical ways. unfortunately supply chains being what they are, all consumption causes harm in some way.
it is a reminder that individual actions are not going to have the impact of collection actions. this is why plastic bag bans, though well-meaning, are not going to have the same impact on climate catastrophe as, say, banning fossil fuels would.
I am a vegetarian and I can recognize that I am doing a whole lot of nothing by not supporting factory farms, and when I was a vegan I wasn't doing much either. boycotts without mass support don't have much evidence of working. this is why bds exists - boycott divestment and sanctions. boycott, meaning don't support goods from various conpanies connected to something, divestment, meaning get companies/countries/institutions to remove their money from something, and sanctions, meaning getting countries to penalize a country for their bad behavior until they comply.
this is what the anti-apartheid south africa movement did and what palestinian rights organizers support for israeli apartheid.
do not allow legislators to put the burden of fixing the ills of society that capitalism created on consumers' shoulders.
3. INTERSECTIONALITY (because it deserves its own section)
I don't have as much to say on this as I did the last bit because holy shit capitalism, man.
intersectionality, a term that was coined by law professor kimberlé crenshaw in the late 80s to serve as a framework for people to critically assess how legal structures impact Black women differently due to class, race and gender. it is not incompatible with marxism (in fact marxism has been argued to be a form of intersectionality).
intersectionality can and should be used to examine why the Black queer experience is unique, for example. I also want to acknowledge that professor crenshaw isn't the only person to come up with intersectionality; sojourner truth spoke about it even if she didn't coin the term, for example. patricia hill collins, another influential af Black feminist academic****, created frameworks for viewing intersectionality. also you can read her book black feminist thought here for free.
intersectionality has been used - improperly - by liberal feminists***** to excuse bad behavior from leaders who pretend to care about women while creating and enforcing legislation that harms women. anyone who stans politicians at all needs help. it has also been misrepresented as essentialism, which it is also not (essentialism is the idea that everything has some assets that are necessary to its identity) because intersectionality isn't saying that every Black queer woman has the same experience, just that Black queer women might experience similar issues because of a system that negatively views them as Black and queer and women.
intersectionality does not excuse kamala harris for prosecuting poor moms of truant kids.
okay if you guys have things to add please do because I want us to educate each other instead of always talking shit. both is good.
* I am not calling out people for not being academic enough or not speaking english or not reading enough theory because LOL I am a 2x neurodivergent college dropout who radicalized by working retail and not by hearing karl marx talk dirty to me. also, not everyone speaks english like, I am truly not shitting on people.
** I recognize that language is fluid and ever changing, and that is a good thing. But diluting terms that serve specific purposes is not ever going to be good.
*** and I don't want to dismiss intra-leftist theory discourse (🤢) because I know how annoying it is to hear bernie sanders lumped in with liz warren, or bernie sanders lumping himself in with post-capitalists lmao of course I get it. but twitter discourse is not dismantling capitalism so ANYWAY
**** actually crenshaw built on collins' work (black feminist thought) and the collins built on crenshaw' work we love to see it.
***** I should go ahead and define liberal feminism as well as rad fem and terf and shit because people use them all very very loosely, especially terf (not every transphobe is a terf but every terf is a transphobe, it's like the rectangle/square thing). but I am exhausted with this so next time.

I never understand when people say Bernie is some revolutionary. It’s usually non Americans that say that because of his very successful ad campaigns and loud supporters. He’s the definition of establishment. He’s worked in the government for soooo long and literally done nothing but rename a post office. That’s it. Why do people think he’d do anything as president, when he didn’t do anything when he was a politician with power for decades? Sucks that even the left obsess over mediocre men
I mean...Google is free. It literally took me half a minute to find a list of Bernie’s numerous accomplishments over his decades-long career but sure, let the non-American tell you what your own politicians are up to.
And because my own country fell a few days ago to the ignorance the masses, I even found other sources to back-up the facts of (some of) Bernie’s most remarkable feats:
Bernie is one of the hardest working politicians in the States, being dubbed “the amendment king” for passing more roll-call amendments than anyone else.
I like how you mentioned the post office naming and totally ignored the fact he introduced and passed a bill that increased veterans’ disability compensations
“The definition of establishment,” you say. When more than half of the States and most of your politicians wanted your army to invade Iraq, Bernie said no. He didn’t need to wait seventeen years and a million innocent casualties to make his mind up. Actually, Bernie’s been consistently anti-war throughout his life and again, that’s fucking impressive when more than half of America, at one point, wanted people like me to be blown up. A good egg.
“The definition of establishment,” you say. The American government has systematically supported the Israeli oppression of Palestinians from the very beginning. Anyone who dare say anything against it is deemed anti-Semitic. Bernie, a Jewish man, is one of the only politicians I’ve seen from your side that has enough of a spine to say something about it. Now you might not think it’s much, but an American politician that isn’t Netanyahu’s bitch should be celebrated. It’s that rare.
“The definition of establishment,” you say. Bernie’s been protesting for civil rights and standing up for justice for fifty goddamn years. Damn, what kind of rose-tinged glasses are you wearing that you think someone like that is the fucking establishment???
He couldn’t get nearly as much as he wanted done because you have such rotten shits in office. Like remember when he actively wanted to protect your privacy rights post-9/11 because he didn’t want your basic freedoms to be exploited by the NSA who wanted to read all your emails and listen to your calls without your consent? Wow what a mediocre shit wanting you to not be watched by the state like it’s 1984 lmao
The free credit report you’re entitled to every year? That was Bernie.
Actually reached across the aisle to work with Republican Charles Grassley to introduce the ‘Employ America act’ that stopped major firms firing American employees and hiring cheap foreign workers. That’s called bi-partisanship and y’all need that in your government. Mediocre men don’t negotiate with the opposition for the rights of people.
The first ever audit of the Federal Reserve that revealed how trillions were paid (with no interest) to big banks and businesses? Bernie.
He fought to get community health centres into the ACA
His very first bill that became law was the National Program of Cancer Registries that helps researchers gain valuable information in their fight against cancer. Called “the cancer weapon American needs most.”
Bernie also passed an amendment to prevent the Bush administration from working to overturn a federal district court ruling that IBM’s pension cuts violated age discrimination laws. This amendment helped 130,000 IBM workers regain $320 million in pension benefits that had been taken away from them.
In the late 1990s, dairy farmers were being forced to sell off their lands to big corporations. Due to an amendment by Bernie, a law passed that provided $350 million to help struggling dairy farmers survive.
Bernie’s tried passing so many climate change bills and sadly, most have been blocked by shit stains in your government but he did manage to pass an energy bill that secured $3.2 billion to fund the grants that reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming. The program to date has funded upgrades for more than 86,000 buildings, installed more than 9,500 solar energy systems and, in the process, created or saved thousands of good-paying jobs.
He has campaigned NON-STOP to give y’all the right not to die from student debt or to pay thousands for like breaking a finger, but ok yes not a revolutionary at all lmao
It’s nice of you to demean him to just naming a post office when he’s been fighting to save thousands of jobs in the postal service, despite the Republicans shutting him down whenever he tries.
So I could go on and on because it turns out, this Bernie fella has done a lot in his time as a politician. He’s introduced over 300 bills whose sole purpose is to help the average American like yourself. It’s so easy to sit on your sofa and call him mediocre when you haven’t fought a percent of the battles that he has to make your life easier.
You don’t have to like Bernie. You don’t have to support his policies. But to trivialise a man who has worked hard and dedicated his life to serving his people speaks volumes of your own ignorance.
Who becomes your President isn’t really my concern. Quite frankly, I’m not affected by whether you can afford to see a doctor or if you’re forcibly drafted into your next war.
However - you are. I suggest getting off your high-horse and spending more than half a minute to learn about who your politicians are and what they’ve been doing in their careers. You can’t always rely on a Brit across the pond to do your damn work for you.

Yeah, how dare she love her people, that are hated all over the world by people like you, and want to defend her country. I bet you hate the soldiers that were fighting against Nazism too. How nice to be you, comfortable and safe, not surrounded by millions of Arab enemies that want you and all you love - dead.
israel is a man-made, zionist state that has continued to take over palestinian land for decades. if you had an ounce of common sense, it would mean knowing that all land that belongs to israel on a map as of 2017 is not true israeli land as israel does not own any land that they have not stolen from palestine. their entire country and its borders are the result of violently stealing from a palestine that had been brutally attacked for years in order for israel to acquire more and more land and to preserve it as israeli land as much as possible. if you look at maps over the years, it literally shows how much land israel has violently stolen from palestine, which used to own all the land currently occupied by israel. israel has invaded, stolen, murdered, bombed, etc. in order to create and maintain the borders of their "country." as for israel being surrounded by arab enemies, there was a fucking choice made that israel, an official jewish state, would be created on what is now INVADED and STOLEN arab land in the first place. it is literally impossible, unless you're the most fucking idiotic person on this planet, for there to be a logical belief that a country created the way israel has been created and expanded without having a single thought that maybe stealing and, again, expanding israeli land over decades without having a fraction of a thought that it might possibly anger arab countries, their citizens and their governments. their anger and hatred of israel IS justified, especially considering arab receive very little vocal support from the western world. arabs are consistently labelled horrible things (ex. terrorists) so often that the islamophobia has prevented them from being treated and welcomed worldwide; they face constant fear of violence simply from being arab or a member of islam. are all arabs members of islam? no, yet that doesn't matter as all arabs are considered islamic extremists hoping to destroy the west by a staggering number of people worldwide anyway. israel also receives so much support from the united states and other countries around the world that of fucking course arabs are going to be angry. a state that was created by the invasion of palestinian land would obviously disturb such a significant number of arabs, so to say they have a reason to hate israel, anyone who knows anything about how the state was created yet defends it and all of its negative impacts on palestine and the rest of the middle east sounds pretty reasonable in my eyes. israel does not deserve to be viewed as a real country, nor does it deserve the support from people like you who honestly believe that israel is pure and wonderful and has done no wrong. you're either racist and islamophobic as fuck, are actually israeli and blindly defend your horrific country, are such a huge fan of gal that you refuse to believe the atrocities her country has committed or have been fed the wrong information for so long that you don't know the truth about israel whatsoever. whatever it is, i suggest doing some research for yourself on how israel was created, the violence they acted with and continue to act with and take a look at a map that shows the progression of israel invading palestinian land. as for gal loving her country and wanting to fight for her people, a choice was made on her own to serve in the idf, which is well known as a horrible, violent military group. as an israeli citizen, gal gadot would know and be taught the history of israel and how it's fared as a country just as i have been taught the same things about the country i live in. the thing you might have not thought about is that curriculums here are often tainted to make my country look better, stronger, more powerful and more globally prominant than it really is or ever has been. our curriculum teaches us that we magically ended world war 2 by participating in d-day and our textbooks continued to label the russians, who were a huge part of ending the war and defeating nazi germany, as evil people that should never be trusted. it's skewed and extremely inaccurate and gal gadot would have been taught the same types of things about her country, especially considering their country has been much more unnecessarily harmful worldwide than the country i live in has been. israel has much more to hide about its past than many other countries, so why not hide the truth about the heinous parts of their country's past and present in order to secure the patriotism in their citizens. this is way too common of a practice in the teaching of a country's history; the government of any country would never risk teaching the entire truth to its citizens in fear of risking losing the patriotism and respect most people have for their countries. yet if i, as a 15 year old kid, began questioning and later researching the things i'd been taught in school myself, gal should be able to to the exact same thing as a grown adult. if she can't be intelligent enough as a fully grown adult to research her country's past for herself with all the horrible information about israel that the country faces consistently and hears often, she's not proving herself to be worthy of any sort of hype or respect and certainly should not be thought of as intelligent or thoughtful either. my point summed up: she isn't a good person and unless she finds a way to believably, truly regret and apologize for her service that contrubited to many deaths, i will never respect her and you're fucking crazy if you do. cool, she may have just created the mosts amazing movie to ever exist acccording to some, but out of respect for the people she helped murder, i will definitely not be contributing to the money the movie has already made. it's fared just fine without peoples' money who refuse to watch in theatres because of gal. are you honestly accusing me of being a nazi apologist because i refuse to support a movie that includes a woman who was willing to help her country murder innocent human beings? you're some kind of next level fucked up for accusing someone of that. even as a person 300% against anti-semitism and in support of the protection of all jewish people worldwide, i do not feel bad for hating israel and wishing for it to be abolished, as israel has gone on to murder a significant number of people as well. as many as nazi germany? far from it. more than necessary with zero reason for the past how many decades now? yeah, they have, and it's dispicable. as a group of people who were so severely targeted during world war 2 and deserve lives filled with peace, love and support from the very beginning, you've got to have some real fucking guts if you're israeli to believe murdering people who are different than you despite your own people being murdered not long ago in the mid-1900's and taking their land (sound familiar? it's what nazi germany did! and as a country germany still has a lot to do to even begin getting into repairing what their country did less than 100 years ago, one thing of which is current german generations whining that it is unfair for people to remember the country's actions under hitler and still feel negativity toward germany for what they did) for your own prosperity is so fucking wrong. is israel a jewish state, and do i support jewish people and put down any kind if anti-semitism i come across? fucking obviously. do i support jewish people and judaism across the entire globe? obviously as well. i, as someone who is not a part of any religion by my own choice, happen to have a HUGE interest in learning about jewish peoples' experiences during and since world war 2 and judaism in general (as well as having a tremendous amount of respect for jewish people who are still unafraid to show and speak about their religious/cultural beliefs to the world despite anti-semitism still being rampant worldwide) as i believe judaism is the most interesting of the major world religions, still do not have any type of support for israel as a country nor for gal gadot as a person who negatively contributed to horrible actions carried out by the idf. and it's not as if i don't have support for jewish people in israel because i do, as long as they don't claim palestinians do not deserve to exist and israel should own all of their land, as long as they don't believe it is okay to be a part of the idf and contribute to mass murder (yes, i understand that for the average working-middle class person it's extremely difficult to be properly excused and not face harsh punishments, although bar rafaeli was excused due to her career, even though she admitted she would have liked to have served and as a result have very low respect for her as well, so considering rafaeli was excused, gal's fame and area of work very likely would have been a good enough reason to be excused as well), but just because i support jewish people who can tell right from wrong with regards to the idf's actions, even if they live in israel, it still does not change the fact that that i believe israel as a nation is one of the most destructive and abominable countries on this planet and i will not ever be convinced otherwise.
