the sad sale went great, thank you for all the support everyone <3 I bought shelves and makeup and paper star papers and stickers and a new blanket, plus it's helping cover my allowance until my wife starts getting paid. I am already thinking I might do another sale in november just for fun lol

my wife has started orientation at her program and she's having a great time, our partner and I are gonna go down to visit her in a couple weeks :) I also finished rearranging all my furniture now that her furniture isn't here and it only made me terribly ill once!

aw that's so cool! the ones that are like actually packaged for making paper stars are usually a bit thinner than printer paper, like other origami paper, but that also means they tear a lot more easily in the first step if you're not careful, so it's always a tradeoff. what a fun coincidence :>

I never really got into komi because one of the side characters really squicks me out, but I have a friend that really loves it, so maybe they've watched it with her! oof yeah my mom gets a bad rash from sun exposure too! I'm fortunate to not have that specific symptom, but dang it seems so inconvenient, especially if you're also sensitive to heat so being covered up puts you at additional risk. personally I rate winter a little higher than fall but otherwise yeah total agreement lol

honestly it takes so much to actually realize like "oh a mobility aid might help with this" which is like, a bad thing, but we're just gonna focus on the funny part for now happy disability pride month :v and tbh I think maybe they might let you do it??? cuz like at ice skating rinks they usually have those little penguins or just straight up plastic lawn chairs for people to support themselves on, so I don't think it would be that crazy to go out on the rollarink with a rollator? but also that's just me and I do not run the place or get paid minimum wage to keep people from breaking the place sooo lol

Hiii! You literally dragged me out of my den- Buckle up buckaroos, this is long-

HUZZAH, Optimus is letting all the bots stationed in the safe and developing areas on Earth (including Prof Baranova’s lab and Faxian) choose another vehicle mode, including Heatwave ‼️‼️‼️ this is gonna be a REALLY interesting and chaotic experience…

Heatwave: Heatwave is (probably not) satisfied with whatever he already has, but he would scan a tank whenever he gets the chance, Kade obviously encourages him no one ever took him to museums because of this, but knowing Optimus is letting the bots choose whatever they want, no one can refuse and reason with Heatwave and his deep interest with such vehicles.

Salvage + Boulder: Since Griffin Rock is constantly and rapidly advancing in technology, Boulder and Salvage want to help! Salvage is considering becoming a bulldozer like Boulder. Boulder wants to be a crane to help lift heavy things to higher altitudes. Graham is really happy and supportive about this.

Chase: Although it seems unlikely, Chase had always wanted to experience the thrill of chasing crime from the skies: A police helicopter! Blades had tried many times to talk Chase through it, as he is a helicopter himself, but gave up as Chase kept pulling several papers he typed and printed out himself explaining why he wants to add a helicopter to his list of his desired vehicle modes. (yes, he has a whole list of vehicle modes he wants) Chief Burns greatly questions Chase’s sanity along with everyone else’s.

Blades: The burning feeling of jealousy that rises whenever he sees Dani getting along with the sports cars on the team, including Bumblebee, and his fear of heights that never seems to go away, Blades desperately wants to have a sports car as his third alt mode and try to “fit in.” Yeah, I’m referencing to the episode ‘odd bot out’ Blades had a private talk with Dani and Chief Burns about this and they finally understand his point of view. They fully support his decision.

Blurr: Everyone is horrified of what Blurr will choose, especially Heatwave, though he is more annoyed than afraid. After the incident of Blurr almost blowing his cover by grandly interrupting a race, he did not let that hold him back despite still feeling extremely guilty about it.

Blurr chose to have the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut as his third alt mode and professor Baranova just about fainted and heatwave exploded with complete frustration, Quickshadow questions her place in their little race matches they have every now and then now that Blurr has made his decision. Every time she and Blurr walk by each other or interact, he flashes her a snarky smirk, making Quickshadow want to beat the living frag out of him, the only thing stopping every bot from doing so physically is the law (and Chief Burns) Blurr is quite proud of himself for this, but Quickshadow warns him to stay close to her during earliween and anytime that any outsiders and tourists enter the island: Remembering Quickshadows experience during her first year on Griffin rock, Blurr obliges.

Servo: Nobody expected Servo out of everyone on the team to speak, or I should say, bark up about what he wants. To make this sweet and simple and just as horrifying as Blurr’s case, Servo wants to become a Tibetan Mastiff. High tide immediately lightens up at the thought of having a bigger, more intimidating dog on his ship deck, CeCe starts crying when she sees a picture of the said dog breed, Chief Burns instantly becomes even more concerned for the well-being of his family.

Hightide:

“I already got a giant ship that transforms into a Megabot, I’m personally already a submarine, do ah really need anything else??? OH, I KNOW HOW ‘BOUT AH BIGGER SHIP!?!?!?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHA-“ *maniacal laughter while Heatwave sobs and yells in the background and Optimus simply blank stares at his old comrade, deciding whether or not to question or support Hightide’s decision.*

Quickshadow (saving my fav pookie for last): for some reason, Quickshadow instantly becomes quiet when the opportunity of scanning a new alt mode is brought up to her. Optimus and Hightide, knowing her better than anyone else since she served alongside them on the front lines during the war on Cybertron, approaches Quickshadow in a way that won’t startle her. Once Quickshadows emotional state is revealed to the rest of the team, they immediately come to the conclusion that the reason for her sudden emotional instability was because of what happened during her first Earliween on Griffin Rock. Quickshadow is approached again about this;

“I have thought about it, I do not think I would like a new alt mode, the vehicle mode I already have is an all-terrain anyway…”

It is true, Quickshadow has powerful rocket engines that can aid her in both bot and vehicle mode, she can turn into a submersible and can drive up to incredible, staggering speeds on the road. Earliween wasalready approaching seeing it is almost November, so everyone decides to keep Quickshadow close to them and support her decision of not choosing another vehicle mode. Optimus promised to stay for Earliween too, as last by as the reconstruction of Cybertron does not bring up any sudden issues in his absence.

And once again, the rescue bots are in chaos.

My unnecessary and irrelevant reviews about the transformers media I have consumed.

Please let me have this. I was doom scrolling and transformers is my comfort fandom.

G1: I have not watched all of it, I do plan on doing so but I did watch it when I was younger and does invoke nostolgia. I watched it on Teletoon Retro (does that even exist anymore?) ((just googled it, rip teletoon retro)). For some reason I really like the episode The Ultimate Weapon. I am a huge fan of First Aid and it was because of this episode and I have no idea why. Rodimus is the main character of that episode with First Aid just having a very prominent role in the side story of that episode. I really liked the Aerialbots and their storyline with the time traveling and the not knowing if they’re on the right side was really cool. Honestly the animation errors and weird inconsistent story are part of the charm I guess.

RID 2001: another show I’ve only seen tidbits of. I watched this one via random episodes illegally uploaded to YouTube in the early to mid 2010s and now all those videos are taken down. As a lover of camp, this is camp. I love it. Transformers as a concept is pretty camp (which is why I adore it) and I definitely will watch all of this one day. Though Sideburn is cool and all, I do wish he didn’t chase a red sports car every episode. Otherwise he’s one of my favourites cause himbo rights I guess.

Transformers IDW 2005: So... I read the entirety of the idw comics purely because I found out Thundercracker was a screenplay writer and I wanted to read the entire story so I got the complete context of his development from scary fighter jet to an Oscar winner. I was not disappointed, I was met with queer and trans representation of all sorts, a diverse storyline with action filled parts, comedy elements, slice of life, political drama, adventure, horror, and the best road trip through space. Honestly I was not expecting transformers of all things to have queerness represented so casually and quite well in my opinion (though technically they are guilty of bury your gays, I don’t count it cause there was a clear reason for that death) Thundercracker was marked as one of my favourites cause of this series. I did experience a wonderful story because I wanted to see how he got his happy ending. My biggest criticism of idw transformers is that I love their interpretations of characters and sadly I know I’ll probably never get to seen them like that again. But if I want to experience those characters like that, I’ll just re read it I guess.

Transformers Animated: I have watched the entirety of this great show twice and it still love it. Funny characters, a human character that has a purpose, and a fun change to the formula, Transformers Animated has one of my favourite Optimus and made a Bumblebee so lovably loud they had to take away his voice so he wouldn’t become too powerful. Loved all of the characters except the human villains, Headmaster did not age well and I wasn’t in love with Ratchet’s design but his personality more than made up for it. If you want more animated, I love Transformers ReAnimated the void is filled by that series and channel. While I wish it got another season, it’s ending was satisfying enough I guess.

Transformers Prime: Smokescreen is great and was underutilizes -100/10. Just kidding, kind of I really enjoyed Prime. I’ve only watched through it completely once cause when I was a child I did not like the designs since apparently as a child I was a G1 loyalist I guess. Though now Prime has one of my favourite styles that still holds up today. Dramatic story with actual character development, I can over look that the plots a tad slow. I wish Breakdown was utilized more and it also could have benefited from an extra season but the movie wrapped it up much better than animated’s ending. Knockout is an amazing character and I was spoiled while I was watching it that he turns Autobot though I didn’t realize that wasn’t until the literal end of the series. Would’ve like a completely fleshed out Breakdown and Knockout or at least Knockout redemption arc but there’s always fanfiction I guess.

Robots in Disguise 2015: I didn’t hate it? It definitely helped that I watched this before Prime for some reason. I liked the designs, Sideswipe... himbo rights. Biggest flaw is the lack of character growth. I just want nice things for Sideswipe, Strongarm and Fixit. Grimlock was fun, I like Bumblebee trying to be a good leader and Optimus should have stayed dead. The crossover and referenced to Rescue Bots was fun and Blurr and Sideswipe was the rivalry I didn’t know I needed. But the one I really needed was Smokescreen in there too. The ending arc was interesting though not executed the best and Steeljaw did a lot of the heavy lifting for the villain side to a point where they over utilized him and his character suffered as a result. Windblade was not as bad as people online said she was, splitting the group up into two was stupid cause I’m bitter and still don’t want Optimus there. Also long list of underutilization: Denny and Russel Clay, Jazz, all the characters from prime except Optimus and Bee, Jetfire and Jetstorm, More Rescue bots, and many more! Like that girl that’s Russel’s friend that I literally don’t remember because I’m pretty sure the writers forgot about her! Anyways, in retrospect the show probably wasn’t great but I liked it I guess.

Rescue Bots: This show is way better than it needed to be. I actually love the no Decelticons and war. I’m a sucker for slice of life and especially slice of life with a twist. Human villains that were actually interesting, actual character development, continuity (somewhat), great human characters all while being target for children. I’m so happy I watched this show while I was kind of the target age and rewatching it for the third time was great cause some of the science jargon actually made sense to me. Satisfying ending too and honestly it can just appeal to everyone. Love all four of the main rescue bots and constantly wish they made evergreen designs and toys for them so they could at least make cameos in other transformers media. Sometimes it’s nice to have transformers being wholesome I guess.

Rescue Bots Academy: ... I was not the age democratic for this show and I somehow still liked it? Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve been gravitating to more wholesome content due to current events but it was actually good? Love all the students, I do miss the old crew and characters like Doc Green and Frankie are under utilized and the Burns family is almost nowhere to be found :(. Once again there’s some actual character development and Hot Shot’s mentor relationship with Heatwave is super sweet. Also actually having positive post war Decepticon and Autobot relationships in this children’s show? Woah. Biggest issue is like RID 2015; the lack of continuity and characters completely disappearing. Perceptor was fun and I was not expecting him to appear. And I love me some microscope dude. It was a good send off for the aligned continuity I guess.

Cyberverse: ending too soon. I was about to be upset that bumblebee didn’t have his voice but he had his voice in his head which was great. Episodes like the velocitron one was really good and it definitely got better with each season and peaked in the Quintesson arc and then rolled to the cancellation date. Thundercracker shouldn’t have been killed off but I’m very biased. Seeing the rebuilding of Cybertron was cool. Windblade and Bumblebee had a fun relationship. I really liked this iteration of Grimlock. Perceptor was super interesting but then they did nothing with him after the Quintesson arc which was a shame and I would have liked to see better relationships between the Autobots and Decepticons after the team up. Also wholesome Whirl was fun. Honestly this needed one more season so bad. I just think it could have been great if it got one. But it’s still good I guess.

War for Cybertron: ...let’s see how I feel after Kingdom comes out but right now, meh. For me my favourite transformers characters usually end up being side characters due to me wishing they had more screen time so in this case, Red Alert is great please show me more of Red Alert. I get what all the people are saying about the voice acting and whatever but I can look past it (though please give us Peter Cullen or let the current VC make his own Optimus voice). But one thing is that all the YouTube reviewers be saying that I completely agree with is that it’s dark. Like lighting wise. I occasionally had trouble making out what was happening because it was dark. Honestly my biggest issue isn’t a fault of the show. I like development of multiple characters to be shown so I can fall in love with a multitude of characters but due to short seasons, it makes sense to focus in completely on one character at a time. Siege in my opinion at least let me see more of the background characters rather than Earthrise but I’d probably like Earthwise more if I was a bigger fan of Optimus. I’m going to watch Kingdom but I’m not expecting to be wowed I guess.

In conclusion, I should watch Beast Wars, I’m going to re read the ending of Lost Light again and revel in the melancholic ending I adore and I really like Thundercracker and First Aid. One great thing about transformers and other franchises that have been around for awhile, if you don’t like the current thing, there’s plenty of last media and you probably won’t need to wait too long for the next piece of media you’ll hopefully like.

Please be good idw 2019, I’ve read a bit of you and I have a scrap of hope. Oh please please please be good. Give some characters the Thundercracker treatment.

Making this boy shut up is very situational. He isn’t as bad as his G1 counterpart, but he CAN go on. If you’re in high position (like Ultra Magnus or Alpha Trion), he seems to do just do it automictically. You tapped on your phone, nails making soft taps as you lay on your bed. You were bored out of your mind when someone decided to text you. That someone was Hongjoong. The smile it brought to your face was bright as you sat up quickly.

'You free?'

Was all the text said and almost immediately you responded. You didn't exactly know what he needed, but you were just happy to find a reason to head over to the dorms.

'Why? What you need.'

You respond, trying to play it off as if you were doing something.

'Just wanted to hang.'

Your smile widens further at his text. You thought for a second, your eyes looking around your room as you tried to think of what you two would be doing.

'Sure. I'm on my way'

You set your phone down as you sprung to your feet. You changes out of your clothes into something more presentable. Making sure you put on something that would catch his attention. As it has been a while since you two had some alone time.

Your sex life wasn't dissapointing by any means, it's just that Hongjoong is often busy or the others just don't allow you two to have the alone time you desire. He tried his best to satisfy you, but recently you've been stuck on the thought of him and him alone. You look at yourself in the mirror you owned. You couldn't help but snuggle yourself into your jacket. Well... It's Hongjoongs... He gave it to you to wear once and you kinda have just kept it. The oversized feeling was great as it barely went past your hands.

You grab a bag and stuff a few things into it before making your way out the door, locking it behind you. The way there was basically a blurr as you were too excited to actually really care. You just wanted to hang with your boyfriend. Before you knew it, you were standing in front of the door to the dorms, knocking quickly before your mind thought of anything else. The door swings open only for you to see Yeosang. You wave to Yeosang excitedly. Yeosang turns his head over to the couch.

"She's here hyung." Yeosang says, his voice low as you look past him to see Hongjoong chilling on there. You wave to him quickly, your smile showing again. Hongjoong got up and quickly pulled you in, hugging you as he did. A quick kiss on your forehead followed. Yeosang walked into the kitchen, leaving you two. A whistle comes from the couch, making Hongjoong glare slightly. You look over to see San, smirking at you two. San always seemed to tease you two whenever Hongjoong showed any type of affection because everyone knows Hongjoong isn't the largest fan of PDA, yet he does it with you.

A soft laugh comes from you at Hongjoongs reaction as you playfully push him. "Let's head to your room. We can talk there." You hum, grabbing his hand and slightly pulling it in the direction of his room. He looks to you and nods his head slightly before leading you to his room. In his room you find Seonghwa finishing up their floor, his final sweep through with the lint roller making you smile. Hongjoong sits down on his bed and you quickly sit down beside him. "Hey Seonghwa." You quickly say, giving a small wave to him. Seonghwa nods his head, saying a slight "Hello" back to you before finishing up his cleaning.

"So I'm guessing your not coming out to eat with us today." Seonghwa asks Hongjoong. Hongjoong leans back a bit. "Yeah, just wanted to hang out with Y/N since it's been a while." Hongjoong says, looking to you briefly. You smile as Seonghwa looks between you two. He briefly nods before going to the door. "Don't mess up the room too much." Seonghwa states, laughing softly at you two before leaving the room and closing the door behind him. You look back to Hongjoong.

"So... What do you want to do?" You ask, your eyes staring at him. Dispite wanting to be relatively clean durring his time, you could help but think about the possible things he could say. Your eyes trailed up and down his body without him noticing.

Thinking stupid things like 'You', 'Me' or other kinky replies. Filled your mind despite not wanting them to. This was just you two wanting to hang out after a while right? But you two will be alone after so long of waiting. Your body just seems to need him at this moment even when your mind is slightly against it. Hongjoong looks to you, snapping you out of your lustful thoughts. You didn't even notice he said anything until he looked to you. You blink a few times confused.

"Did you hear me?" He asks, lifting a hand to pat your head. "I said we could watch a movie or something if you want. Maybe even listen to some music." He suggests, removing his hand from the top of your head. You nod quickly, hearing the distant talking of the guys from the other room. You take your phone out of your pocket. "Ah. Well I think listening to some music will be fine. Can we talk while doing so?" You ask, still eyeing him slightly. He smiles and nods, handing you a pair of headphones. You plug them into your phone and put one of the buds into your ear, and placing one into his. You lean against him.

"So how have you been. How was practice today?" You ask, moving your head slightly to meet his gaze. He shrugs slightly, making your head move just a bit. "It was okay. We got a few things done." He chuckles, his hand finding it's way to yours, his fingers linking with yours. You sigh as the song ends. Hongjoong grabs your phone without you noticing as he turns on and opens it. Episode 21

Ok so before we start, I gotta fess up and say I got spoiled for something because Twitter Sucks, so I know Tarn is in this series. Here are my predictions about that:

Megatron said he rescued Astrotrain from a tyrant. I thought he meant an Alt!Universe version of him, but now that I know This Bastard is gonna be in it, I’m guessing it’s Tarn

If Megatron DID save Astrotrain from Tarn, it’d be hilarious if Tarn & co. weren’t actually planning to kill Astrotrain, they were just using him as transport, in which case Megatron essentially car-jacked (train-jacked?) them.

As much as I rag on Tarn and the DJD I actually do genuinely love the idea of an Autobot + Decepticon teamup against the DJD THAT WOULD BE SO FRICKIN COOL....

Flashback Friday: An Update

March 14, 2014

I thought for this week's rendition of "Flashback Friday" we'd check-in on where I left off with some of my past dates, ones with loose ends or oldies with news. Wouldn't want any cliffhangers now, would we?!

The Tindate

Our first date ended with him saying, "that was fun, let's do this again soon." I believed him and decided to be bold and brave and not play games, so I texted him that week (fine, it was the next day) asking if he wanted to grab $1 oysters. He said he had plans and we never spoke again. Whateva.

The Alien Abductee

We never made it beyond our first date because it reached a point where he showed too much weird before our [non-existent] second date. I could embrace his quirky interests and alien abductee stories in person, watching his cute dimples move as he spoke, but the charm was gone when he talked about his out-of-body-experience over the phone. After our date we almost hung out a few times, but in two cases I chose drinking wine alone in my apartment over exerting energy to see him, and one time he chose going to a Reddit OKCupid meet-up because THAT'S A THING. The last word I heard from him was "you should come visit me." He was in Bakersfield for work. WHAT A ROMANTIC SECOND DATE. Nuh-uh, bye!

Let's just really try and wrap our heads around this:

He texted me "to catch up" after 11pm on Valentine's Day

I agreed to catching up over a beer, even referencing a past hangout with an inside quip

He booty-called me, more directly this time (I'm not naive, I know that had I replied on V-Day he would have tried to booty call me, which is only mildly insulting.)

I shut that down QUICK

He told me the "wine and dine cruise shipped out long ago" LOLOLOLOL WHO SAYS THAT

[Not pictured] I asked if there was nothing in between wining & dining and booty calls and he confirmed, there's not

This is a person who, when I put up a wall (the usual, you know) asked, "who did this to you? who broke you?" [that's a real quote.] Umm, okay Mr. Fifty Shades of Spray.

Potential Superman

Ted and I had been hanging for nearly a month, which is eternity in my world these days. He was enthusiastic about joining my friend's birthday celebrations, and eventually he and his friend Jacob met up with us at Bar Lubitsch. We galavanted to the back to dance in a room that was approx. 1000 degrees. Here's what happened:

Ted and I danced, he complained that I wore red lipstick because he wanted to kiss me and then he left to get a drink. Way to crush my dreams of being a long-wear lipstick tester, but I digress.

Jacob, in the meantime, got my friends and I a round of drinks and took care of our precious little tipsy souls.

Ted remained a missing person for about an hour.

When my group was leaving I was hell-bent on finding him. (Picture it: "Where's Ted? I need to say bye to Ted. Did Ted leave?" Repeat 100x. - me.)

While waiting for our ride I returned to the bar and found Ted in a corner talking to a woman. Upon seeing me he panicked and yelled "SHE'S JUST MY COLLEAGUE." "WOAH WHY ARE YOU SO DEFENSIVE?" I asked.

The rest is blurr(whiske)y, but basically I explained that I wasn't jealous, we aren't exclusive after all! (Are we even dating?) Rather I was bummed we didn't hang out. I ended it by saying "if you ever want to see me again call me, make a move."

This was resolved soberly and we texted for a couple week or two more, and then the slow fade happened, but like, fast. Whatever, I was tired of talking about the weather, anyhow!

THIS IS A COLLAGE OF REAL TEXT CONVERSATIONS WE HAD. HE LOVED TALKING ABOUT THE WEATHER.

The Slow Fade

Oops. Speaking of the Slow Fade, Not-Woody-Allen has faded in and out of my life since November whenever we're both in town. One time he texted me to ask if I was on Larchmont, or if he saw my doppleganger. We went out that night. Another time I texted him to ask if he was in downtown, or if I saw his doppleganger. We went out that weekend. Mostly we watched movies or his latest commercials or Breaking Bad when I was behind, even though he had already seen the episodes (#blessed). Most recently we watched Miami Connection, a TERRIBLE HORRIBLE NO-GOOD AWESOME MOVIE. He kept saying things like, "we don't have to watch this," or "this would be better with a big group" and I was like, please stop talking I'm actually really into this D-list action film from the 80s. It's weird how we haven't talked since then.

Godzilla King Of The Monsters

I'm mainly talking about the American 1956 version of the original 1954 film. So I just watched it and during it I was legit thinking of talking about this and even in detailed. Even today good a bit yet kind of emotional in one part but really had to think. It doesn't have to do with this. Yet I'll just get some stuff out of the way such as I missed the new Loud House episode but luckily @fangirl20 linked me some where I can watch the episode ha I thanked you well her so much and told her I was gonna be busy watching the film on tv and paused briefly during that time. Just sat down but lol I'm gonna be mainly serious cause I've realized some stuff today. I've seen the original Japanese version with English subtitles long ago when I was younger. I'm mainly trying to remember the experience and this was on YouTube. I enjoyed the movie a lot. But over time I've lost some memory of it. When realizing that this would air today I woke up at 6 pm cause fell asleep which is why I missed that new Loud House episode. I found it when looking up Godzilla on the search thing ha sorry man. I've decided I'm gonna watch it cause I've always wondered what the 1956 version was like only seen videos where people talk about. Now on to the movie man ha sorry. To be honest I was quite surprised but really enjoyed it. In fact I felt it was as good as the original. Even with the idea that they put in new scenes for American audiences. Now about Raymond Burr and yeah to tell you the truth. Was mainly expecting a English dub version of the original film with Raymond Burr just had to change Burr from blurr ha sorry man. Including theirs this trailer for this version from this series of Godzilla vhs tapes I really like this trailer also I'm typing this on my phone. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b8sf1HWs2w8 I wanted to find and link the one version of the trailer I watch. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised. I'll first talk about Raymond Burr as Steve Martin almost put Steven and Martain. I honestly liked him. Including the first few scenes and I'm gonna put some spoilers. Basically like what it said on the guide he's recounting events. I found him pretty enjoyable to watch. In fact he seem to fit in with the movie. Also before the movie their was this intro with this Dennis guy a comdian I found out his name forgot the last name after the movie was done. He talked about that yeah they shot some new scenes for American audiences. But even shots where their are doubles of the original characters and it shows that. Yet I feel it doesn't take away from the film. Including I feel Raymond Burr's inclusion like I said doesn't bother me. He does a pretty good job with what he's given and I do like his performance. Also on a side note quite charming. I feel like with him it is a nice addition and it doesn't take away from the film. Including the original characters are still relevant in the film. Including what I found surprising some parts of the original are in Japanese. Their is some English dubbed parts but their still good. Including the parts where Steve has to ask his friend or well the person with him what the people are saying it kind of adds to the idea that he is some one from some where else that he has to ask what people are saying. Mainly the way I see Raymond Burr's role. To me I felt like it was a way of us as an audience or the American audience witnessing what was going on in the film. With Raymond Burr playing Steve Martin filling that role. To me it feels like focusing on a side character instead of the main ones all the time yet it feels pretty okay. It feels apart of the film. Including was thinking before this and yeah it's still the same movie but we're focusing on other events happening. Yet their are some changes like Serwiza's revealing not just to the man she's also in love with but Steve is part of it. Instead of the very dramatic scene where she see's all the injured people and dead people. Which she snaps and supposedly cries and tells the man can't spell his name right but tell him about the Oxygen Destroyer. Yet this part could of happened before telling Steve I don't know man. Yet I feel it kept with the original story and it was told another way. So I put the before man ha sorry yet not on to other things. Godzilla himself seriously still well done. Including I agree in some moments Godzilla at certain parts can look pretty can't spell the word right some what immediate but mainly the word threatening. That's what I'm going with. The effects are good and really nice to look at. Including the destruction Godzilla causes. Also the score holy crap very good. Including the ending that was well done. Including the tone of how serious it is, the film still has the themes of the original and they still translate well. Yet you know ha sorry but I don't know if this is a criticism yet while I see this is the Americanized version of the original the focus on the original cast like I said their still relevant and they still have a huge focus. But I feel with the original version seriously it's been years since seeing the original Japanese version but the depth of certain characters. I can see certain parts where it's important to a certain character but not a whole lot was shown. Yet I don't know what to say but mainly I still liked the original cast was relevant and still they all good a good job. Even if it's just footage from the original film. Mainly I have no problem with it. Think I almost left lot as lol ha sorry. Just sorry yet mainly I seem to have no problem with this film. I seriously really liked it. I wanna talk about my favorite parts. Honestly the part where Godzilla attacks Tokyo and Raymond Burr as Steve Martin watching events unfolding and he's recording it. For these moments I really wanted to immerise myself into the movie feeling I was there. I would love to see this in a movie theater including this version. But back to moment the scenes where Godzilla is attacking Tokyo it's just really nice and showcasing he's a big threat and all the stuff the people do to try to stop him. Along with Raymond Burr as Steve Martin adding the voice over and his facial expressions as he sees the destruction along with other people. It gave me this feeling that this is supposed to be scary and Godzilla is a force of nature he's powerful and the military are doing everything they can to stop them but they can't. Including Godzilla just destroying the city and how he moves and stuff like that. I honestly question the part where at one point where his tail is in stop motion. It's mainly cool to me. Also what adds to this scene is the people during all of this destruction basically dying and well getting killed in the process. Another scene I liked it's during the entire scene with Godzilla in Tokyo the tower I don't think it's Tokyo tower or it is ha I'm sorry including their was another tower. Yet I forgot maybe it's Tokyo tower I don't know man ha sorry. Yet what's really the focus is the people that are on the tower and in a way doing the same thing such as Steve Martin and others almost left Steven again ha sorry. Yet this time and these are Japanese people their talking and recording the events describing what's going on. Then Godzilla attacks the tower and it falls and you even see people falling off the tower as it falls. It was a moment I think I leaned back and my mouth was wide jaw dropped. Basically showcasing terror just chill out yet really okay not oh head but not a cool moment basically it's suppose to be a terrifying scene or disturbing showcasing people getting hurt and killed in the process. The other part is the ending seriously the score and how it is it's amazing. It plays out very well and just a great ending to a great movie. It's well deep and I don't wanna say emotional wasn't crying ha sorry man chill me. Yet it's sad and just how it's perciviced is how makes it impactful. Including character reactions and other things man. I think that's what I mostly have to say. But I really enjoyed this movie a lot or this version of the original movie. I liked the addition of the American scenes cause they seem natural and they fit with the film. Including Raymond Burr as Steve Martin does a very good job I felt it was still a nice addition. Along with almost put including again haha sorry man but the original cast does a good job and the main story is still how it is. Just like I said it feels like focusing on a side character but it does a well good job. Including how I felt it felt like we as an audience we're there or seeing what was going on. Or that's how I felt man. The score is very well done, the effects are great, and Godzilla is honestly quite menacing. Put is between Godzilla and honestly haha sorry lol but yeah and just overall the film itself was very good. Including the build up. I feel like this version still keeps intact and respects the original version which I try to remember a lot of important details. Almost put I again sorry haha that sorry chill out yet a scene I also loved the nation prayer that was very good. I liked the scene as well I almost forgot that ha sorry. Kept missing enter yet yeah good movie and including you know I like the idea of an American Godzilla movie respecting and acnoging or referencing the original Japanese matrial. It's something I feel would be respectful and in this day and age. I honestly don't like the idea of white washing yet that's wasn't a thing part of this ha sorry man oh head. It's just I remember one post it was talking about white washing and included Godzilla 2014. While in fact in that movie they didn't remake the original it was a new story and respected the original mainly with some themes and serious tone. Their was a whole bunch of new characters and no one was white washed. Mainly the character Ken Watanabe plays his last name is like a Easter egg to Serwiza since his name is that but it's not the same character. Including I understand what made the original Godzilla film very memorable was the concept that nulcear bombs unleashed Godzilla and we pay as a result. Yet Toho seems fine with trying new directions with Godzilla and the fact they liked the 2014 film. Seems like I don't know phone put Too yeah phone put Toho as that had to change it ha exuse me burp ha sorry. Yet what I'm saying is I felt it was nice for the 2014 film to make Godzilla a force of nature from an era where giant monsters rule. Despite he's more of an anti hero which I do like haha sorry almost left hero as her ha sorry Mainly the post was about Hollywood changing stuff up of Japanese matrial. Such as referencing Ghost In The Shell and Death Note where the characters are white washed. I'm not fans of ether of those. But I'm bothered by the concept of white washing. I feel like and was thinking what else to say is to respect the original Japanese source material and what ha sorry made it so good in the original. Mainly my point is I like the idea of American Godzilla films that respect the original Japanese matrial such as maybe having some Japanese actors if possible ha sorry. Another one of the reasons why I'm bothered with the 1998 film sure those French guys were fun haha sorry but....you know. Honestly this day and age representation is pretty big which is kind of nice to see a diverse cast for Godzilla King Of The Monsters 2019 haha sorry But yeah mainly wanted to be serious just put the tag. Also a film called Them was playing before this movie it's a film I feel like seeing since seeing people talk about it and they want that to be in Legendary's Monsterverse. But again fell asleep hahaha sorry today almost put today twice haha just....it's been crazy. I wanna see that film and forgot I could record ha or just...don't want my parents seeing or nervous lol man.
