HI THERE I WOULD LIKE A SHIP PLS :) I’m a daughter of apollo (camp half blood) but if I wasn’t I’d probably end up being a child of athena, and I think me weapon of choice would probably just be a bow or like a really light sword. I’m Asian with mid length sorta wavy black hair (but I have slight highlights in the strands above my ears, I dyed it literally 2 days ago) and my eyes are kinda almond shaped I think idk tbh, and my skin is kinda tan. I like listening to music and sometimes composing little things, as well as writing and reading. I play piano and like to keep a journal/diary because I’m a very sentimental person and I would consider myself introverted but I have pretty good social skills ig. It sounds a big narcissistic, but I’d like to think that I’m moderately good at most things I try, and so I enjoy a lot of things too. At school, subjects I’ve done that I like are sciences (physics, chemistry, biology), maths (to some extent), literature, music, and modern history. I’m a really indecisive person, but when it comes to morals and things like that I’m usually pretty set, which is partially why my friends consider me the most mature in our friend group, but I’m not sure if that really says a lot. Anyways, I’m leaning a bit more towards a guy character, but if there’s any girl characters who really jump out at you from this, go for it! Thank youuu

No family drama, but definitely lots of teasing from your siblings, and yes, I am looking at Will.

Percy and you both have strong morals that you follow, which could sometimes lead to arguments, but you’re both feeling driven so you’d make up fast. You understand you don’t always have to agree, and that’s okay.

You both give off friend-everyone-goes-to-for-advice vibes, but sometimes you need to be the ones to vent, and you always have the other to listen and support you.

Even though he didnt do that well in school, he loves to hear you speak about history, literature and even science! The passion you show when talking about the things you enjoy fills him, and he can’t help to ask questions and try to learn to keep up with you.

Listening to you singing is the highlight of his days, and when he has a bad day (or night), laying down next to you while you sing or read to him helps him ground himself.

You’d always be trying new things together, from normal things like sports to the strangest things like crotchety. Definitely so much fun and crazy stories!

i'm really enjoying university so far (even though i'm nervous abt an upcoming physics exam), i'm glad i decided to come to europe to study for a number of reasons

but,,, there is one thing kinda sorta eating at me a little.

it's frivolous, i know it is, but like,,, people always tell you about the kind of stuff that's supposed to happen in college, including social stuff. and while i'm glad to say i've already made friends, this will sound stupid but i kinda thought maybe men would, like,,, talk to me?

i mean to be fair one guy has asked me out, but within that same span of time, so many guys have asked my housemate out or at least shown interest in her? and i mean, i totally see why, she's cute and gives off really nice vibes because she is nice. my other housemate gets less attention but i think it's just because she's serious and kinda cold (on purpose) with people she doesn't know well. but she still has guys try to message her on IG.

now look i'm not saying i deserve attention or whatever. i just find it a little,,, confusing. i'm far from a 10/10 but honestly i'm not totally clapped either? i get compliments from random ladies in public sometimes, actually. i'm pretty introverted but i don't think i give off a cold vibe or have rbf.

so when my housemates, who are both WOC but not black, tell me about how someone tried to ask them out or message them online or whatever, i can't help but feel like i live on another planet. because honestly men don't even notice my existence unless they work at a store and i am asking them where to find something.

i'm starting to wonder,,,

is it because i'm dark?

i dread to ask, but i really can't figure out another reason? i like being dark-skinned regardless, but is it possible that that's why men don't talk to me?? because they're not conditioned to be interested in dark women?

i'm posting this here because idk where else to talk about this. i don't have any black female friends here yet (i'm in a small STEM class). i just want to know if other dark-skinned african women living in western europe have this experience? and is there some stock in my extremely tentative and reluctant speculation, or is it some other reason?

Heyy dream anon here and I'm currently very confused so I need advice. I'm a high school senior rn and we had this 4 day event/competition in our school in the beginning of Nov in which kids from other schools were invited to participate. I'm a huge introvert, and barely talk around new people so I don't have many friends outside our school. Some of my friends have many tho so I got introduced to some guys who were my friend's friends. We had pizza together too (my friends, me and the 3 guys)+

+but it was super awkward for me coz I barely talked (mainly coz I had a bit of a crush on one of the guys I had known about earlier). But there was this other guy who I initially didn't like at ALL but he was really close with several of my friends. Fast forward to many weeks later and this guy made one of his if accs (his "spam" acc) public. That page turned out to be a meme page he had been running privately for a bit. The memes were cool but I didn't follow him coz a) I didn't like him and b) I had heard he was pretty full of himself (I had sorta picked up on that myself too) but then I followed him (coz MEMES) and he followed back. He turned out to be not that bad once we talked a bit. But from the first time we texted (he replied to my story) he talks about himself A LOT. Today he replied to my story about an exam and asked me how it went. I said it was a hard paper but doable but I was sick so I couldn't do well. He moved to what his exam was like immediatelyand still hasn't replied to my last text in that convo (which was about me and not him). It's been several hours and I know he's online and free coz he saw the ig story I just posted. Ik I'm overthinking and it's not even like I'm inerested in this guy but his texting habits really make me anxious. Why can't he reply to me? And why do all his texts have to be about him? I ask about his exams etc too. Also, should I not reply to his texts for hours too? We barely know each other but ik I'll meet him again coz +coz of my friends and I don't want things to be awkward. Plus he's actually overall a sort of cool guy and a pretty good friend so I sort of want to be friends with him too. For My New Followers

Hey y'all! I feel like need to make this post because I’ve gained a lot of new followers due to a very unfortunate situation, but I appreciate the love though.

So, welcome to my Tumblr.

A little bit about me: 1. I’m 26 2. Im a Black Woman, in case y'all didn’t know 3. Yes that’s a real photo of me as my avi 4. So I’m queer but I identify as straight for reasons. No I’ve never dated a girl (unless you count all those times when I was a kid that I ‘experimented’ with girls and guys-shh don’t tell my parents, well not my dad anyways 😂). I don’t really tell people that I’m queer in real life because one it’s not everyone’s business and two, I haven’t learned how to make that work with my spirituality/faith/religion. Speaking of… 5. I’m a Christian, well sorta. No, I am a Christian my faith in God/Jesus is VERY important to me. I’m very anti Christain church though, it’s problematic AF and I don’t think Jesus would be happy with it. If you’re an atheist, that’s cool, I’ve contemplated that a time or two. I don’t really post a lot about my faith here on tumblr, I just choose to let my light shine and let the big guy upstairs do the rest. So no worrries about random “do you know Jesus as your lord and savior” posts from me…I actually hate that shit 😂😂😂 6. Im from the south, Alabama to be exact; don’t judge me y'all I’m not a stupid hicktown hillbilly I promise. I actually detest like 98% of the things about my state but, I’m sticking around cause somebody’s gotta try and make this shitty place better right? 7. In reference to no. 5, my dad’s a minister, so'a my grandad and so was my great uncle, my great great grandad; I’ve even got an aunt who’s a pastor. My mom has a bachelor’s degree in Christain education, so I might chime in on biblical shit from time to time 🤷🏾‍♀️ 8. Per Myers Briggs-I’m an INTF,INFJ and one time I tested as an INFP. I think, I think a whole lot and I’m super introverted, but I’m passionate about a lot of shit. 9. I just got my bachelor’s degree in Sociology after an 8 year (yes it took me 8 years and not cause I was dumb; life kept fucking happening) struggle. I’m in the process of applying for Grad school at both USC (master’s of social work) and Northwestern (MA in Public Policy and Public Admin) Im doing it online and I plan to start in January

That’s enough personal stuff.

Let’s get to the technical stuff: My blog is a hodgepodge of shit, literally. I’m terrible at tagging so if you’re a stickler about tags, I apologize in advance.

My blog started out as Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice (that was my first fandom-good times), now it’s like 90% Once Upon a Time. I consider myself a multi shippper, prior to that thing I don’t wanna talk about I was a super hard Outlaw Queen shipper, I also like Dragon Queen and Dragon Outlaw Queen. I sorta ship Swan Queen but it’s complicated. I don’t like Emma or JMo but I do think there’s something there between them. I haven’t ventured off much into SQ fics because I’m a stickler about reading, but if anybody has suggestions I’m up for it. I blog a lot of Lana Parrilla things, I will almost fight you if you come for her in any way. The same applies to all of the new WOC. I stick up for WOC, period point blank. A lot of stuff posts from my Instagram (@thewrldacctodee) to here and most of my IG posts are of the kiddos I’m a nanny to, especially the little girl Bailey, she’s almost 2 and is a total sweetheart…sometimes 😂 I Reblog a lot of pictures of Black people, my favorite singer Aaliyah, I’ll occasionally blog some Grey’s Stuff, mostly Addison Montgomery and Mark Sloan. I also Reblog political stuff (I don’t like Cheeto Satan, aka Trump) and other social issues.

I do random text posts about shit that annoys me, shit happening in fandom, which I have a tag for #WhenPeopleInFandomSayFuckShitThings sometimes I tag it as #WhenPeopleInFandomDoFuckShitThings or the General #OUATFanfomFuckery.

I Reblog from a LOT of people from all over fandom so that might be a problem, but these people are all my friends in some capacity. Don’t mess with them, and don’t try and sway me into not talking to them. I like to allow people their own room to fuck up with me and deal with the aftermath.
