hello hello! ✨ i’m back from my travels to terrorize this place again heheee i’ve been gone since late october so any messages or asks haven’t been looked at but i will get to them!

but ya i was mostly in japan for vacation (singapore for work and philippines for family too but those were both bleh) and i traveled alone and it was so fun! my biggest concern was that i’d get lonely but that was never the case because i kept running into so many cool people, some of which i’m friends with now and i’d love to go back in a couple of years just to see them again. would also love to hike mt fuji next time too!

also this trip was basically unlimited calories so i got to eat all the yummy food i saw~ my feet are super fucked up tho..

i also did a ton of shopping (had to buy 2 extra suitcases lol) and just wanted to share some of the goods hehe

official primaniac perfumes for childe and zhongli! i went to all four animate stores in tokyo (shibuya, shinjuku, akihabara, ikebukoro) and childe’s was the only one sold out in all four. i gave up looking for him after the fourth store BUT while i was shopping in ginza i luckily happened to walk past the official primaniacs store (not sure why i didnt think of checking there first) and he was in stock!

childe’s kinda smells like the ocean, with hints of mint and vanilla. it’s refreshing and if i had to describe it, the scent is light, warm, comforting, slightly flirty

zhongli’s is kinda hard for me to describe. it’s more bold but also gentle?? i smell some kind of wood and also cherries i think? it makes me feel like i should be sitting at a fancy bar with a cup of bourbon that’s worth more than my life

anyway i’m not an expert when it comes to perfumes so here are threads that go into more detail: childe zhongli

other official genshin merch i bought! childe whale and zhongli dragon plushies, zhongli bracelet, and childe card holder. the bracelet is cute and i can see myself using it!

i also bought an itto keychain for my best friend at work, but i’m too lazy to pull it out of the gift bag i made for her lol

came across official xiao and aether figures in akihabara! they were having a cute date in the defect pile 💕 (didn’t buy these though)

my favorite purchases~ japanese knife and three others for my closest friends hehe (i already gave out one before this pic) they’re so pretty and they slice so good! i can’t wait to start cooking with mine

i bought more stuff than what was pictured but this post would go on forever if i talked about everything and its mostly clothes and skincare anyway lol

The Van Gang™ are all tied for my 2nd favorite characters. They're all really just out there living their best lives and occasionally pausing to cleanup everyone else's messes because they're bored and Kyouhei has the misfortune of being the only genuinely good person in Ikebukoro.

Chapter 14 Prologue Part 2:

We start with the continuation from the Kirito/Mononobe flashback loop. Mononobe seems to be saying something to Kirito with a serious face. We cut to the Summoners (MC, Shiro, Kengo, and Ryota). Shiro goes over the information that he received from MC about the three (four) guild war going on in Ikebukoro. According to the info Shiro received from Toji, fights are breaking out between the guild elsewhere. Shiro goes over the info that the Entertainers are entering the fight and that they need more info on them before they can make their move. Shiro starts going over on where some people are right now. The Missionaries, the Gurus and Hanuman are evacuating Aoyama. The missionaries are at a disadvantage due to losing most of their angels to the Rule Makers and from losing Arsalan. Maria should be currently meeting up with the Gurus Guildmaster. Now onto the Tycoons, Toji and the Tycoons along with Tadatomo are searching for the a dungeon similar to the previous ones from the AR quests. They will need them to get info from past loops. Kengo and Ryota both received emergency message from Moritaka and Hanuman to come help. Kengo and Ryota left the safehouse. Shiro starts talking to MC about Mononobe’s memories. There were one part that’s worrisome. The unsolved murder incident that happened in CH2. We flashback to scenes from that chapter. Shiro also start talking about how MC first met Kirito. More flashbacks to CH2. After that, Shiro says that the case from then still hasn’t been sliced yet. The culprit was never caught. Shiro looked into Mononobe’s memory box and saw that Mononobe talked to the higher ups of the police to keep the matter of the incident in Shinjuku. Shiro saw that only one person was a major suspect. After Mononobe’s involvement, the investigation was stopped and Mononobe went to go meet with the suspect in private. That person was Kirito. Flashback to CH3 when MC saw Kirito with Oniwaka. It seems they will need the third memory box to get the full story of what Mononobe wanted to talk to Kirito about. Shiro tells MC that Arc went to go find Kirito and that they’ll contact Shiro when they find him. Shiro begins to tell MC that the murder victim from CH2 was matched with a certain student, down to their physical appearance, age, and blood type. But that shouldn’t be possible. The victim’s name was MC’s. Then Bigfoot appeared in the safehouse to greet the Summoners.

Essen und Wellness muss auch mal sein

Heute entschied ich mich mal dazu etwas auszuschlafen. Nach meinem mitternächtlichen Wellness-Aufenthalt ging es dann doch erst um 3 Uhr ins Bett, weshalb ich den Schlaf dann auch etwas nötig hatte. 😄 Die Entspannung hat mir aber echt gut getan. Neben dem Onsen gibt es außerdem noch eine 70 °C und eine 88 °C Sauna. Aktuell muss ich sagen, dass ich die Sauna doch noch etwas besser finde als den Onsen. Oder man macht einfach eine Mischung aus beidem. 😄

Da ich mir generell vorgenommen hatte, die letzten Tage etwas entspannter zu gestalten, war mein Tagesplan auch nicht so gefüllt.

Als Erstes ging es mit der U-Bahn in Richtung Asakusa-Schrein, dem bedeutendsten Shinto-Schrein in Tokyo, beziehungsweise zum Senso-ji-Tempel. Dass es einer der bekanntesten Tempel Tokyos ist und bei Reisenden sehr beliebt ist, wurde mir dann auch recht schnell bewusst. Die Nakamise-dori Straße, die zum Tempel führt, war komplett überfüllt. An der Straße entlang reihten sich Läden aneinander, die vor allem Souvenirs und Süßigkeiten anboten. Bei einem Laden holte ich mir zwei Melonenbrote, eines ohne Füllung und das andere mit Schlagsahne und Erdbeeren. Im Endeffekt war das dann auch mein Frühstück. Das Melonenbrot, was übrigens nichts mit der Melone zu tun hat, war sehr lecker. Ich würde es vielleicht als etwas festeren Biscuit bezeichnen. Die Schlagsahne und die Erdbeeren haben es aber nochmal aufgewertet.

Nach einem kurzen Rundgang um den Tempel stattete ich den aufgebauten Streetfood-Ständen einen Besuch ab und holte mir ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Darunter waren ein Krabbenfleisch-Spieß, ein Dango-Spieß und ein Shioyaki-Spieß. Letzteres war der Spieß mit dem ganzen Fisch. Irgendwie fühlt man sich da ein bisschen wie in der Wildnis, wo man am Lagerfeuer seinen Fisch grillt. 😅

Danach machte ich mich dann auf den Weg nach Ikebukoro, welches sich neben Akihabara zu einem zweiten Hotspot für die Otaku-Kultur entwickelt hat. Den ersten Teil des Weges unternahm ich zu Fuß, wodurch ich eine etwas heruntergekommenere Gegend Tokyos sehen konnte. Wobei ich mir nicht sicher bin, ob das überhaupt als heruntergekommen werten kann. Es war auf jeden Fall ein Unterschied zu dem Tokyo, von dem man sonst immer in den Medien mitbekommt. Den restlichen Teil des Weges fuhr ich dann mit der Bahn. In Ikebukoro angekommen, holte ich mir erst einmal einen Kaffee und noch einen Croissant. Danach verlief ich mich zunächst etwas und musste erst einmal den "Schmuddelteil" des Viertels durchqueren. 😅 Im Endeffekt schaffte ich es dann doch noch zur Sunshine City, einem Einkaufszentrum über mehrere Gebäude verteilt mit vielen verschiedenen Läden. Dort fand auch ein Cosplay-Treffen im Park statt, wobei das Wetter grade noch so mitspielte, da der Regen bisher ausblieb. In einem der Gebäude lief ich etwas durch die Läden, bevor ich noch kurz bei meinem Live-Auftritt einer J-Popband zuschaute.

Mit der Bahn machte ich mich danach wieder auf den Weg zurück. Da es schon wieder Zeit fürs Abendessen war, legte ich noch einen Stopp in einem Soba-Restaurant ein. Ich glaube, Soba mit Tempura ist neben Ramen mein Favorit bezüglich Essen in Japan.

Zurück in der Unterkunft entspannte ich noch etwas in meiner Kabine und gönnte mir jetzt noch etwas Zeit im Wellness-Bereich.

Morgen geht es dann für die letzten drei Nächte zu meiner letzten Unterkunft in Kawasaki. Die Stadt liegt irgendwie zwischen Yokohama und Tokyo. Ich weiß nicht, wie man da noch die Stadtgrenzen überhaupt richtig darstellen soll. 😂 Der Vorteil daran ist, dass ich damit näher am Flughafen bin.

- Gosh you both are so cute, this is gonna be fun!

- This man kinda really likes everything about you, and your personality is everything to him!

- Loves your loyalty and kindness, those are two very important aspects he looks for in a s/o to be honest.

- You’re a more logical person which is cool because Kadota is typically the same way. His heart has opinions, but he weighs the pros and cons before letting said heart take over.

- The great thing about Kyouhei is that he comes with friends! Very friendly friends who want to befriend you!

- The van gang has become your family now and they make sure you know that they got your back. (Also, are willing to basically murder for you, you gave them food they owe you their lives)

- And he’s right up your alley seeing as he’s pretty street smart kinda guy.

- I don’t know much about his intelligence school wise, but he likes your ambition for studying to be a doctor. He’ll often drive by your house to help you study for tests and quizzes. (Lmao, sometimes the others join him, Erika once dressed up as a cheerleader to be an actual cheerleader and Walker just kept distracting you)

- Thinks your hobbies are great and he asks about your art often. Sometimes he’ll just lay beside you as you draw something or be reading a book near him and it just feels so nice to him, like you’re both in this little bubble away from the bustling city.

- There aren’t a lot of pools or bodies of water near Ikebukoro, but he does his best to find a few so he can spend some time in the pool with you. He really enjoys it and it’s honestly one of his favorite kinds of dates to go on.
