Apparently there's 20 childhood drawings by Caroline of Baden including one of her twin sister. ilab<dot>org/assets/catalogues/KROMP_precious_books_high<dot>pdf
Thanks for the info! I'm not sure if the portrait is meant to be the one of the girl sitting on the chair or a different one, but in any case they are very pretty:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From Daniela Kromp's Precious and Unique Books, the PDF anon linked:
Princess Caroline of Baden made the major part of these drawings at the ages between eleven and fifteen, when she lived in Karlsruhe, where she received sound artistic education. One of her teachers at that time was court painter Philipp Jakob Becker (1763-1829). The quality of Caroline's earlier drawings present here is on a very high level for her young age. Martha Schad states in 2015: "Caroline carried a sketch block with her most of the time, even when she got older, though apparently none of her drawings are preserved." (Bayerns Königinnen, chapter 5). One sanguine drawing is signed and dated by Caroline's twin sister, Katharina Amalie Christiane Luise von Baden (1776-1823): "Amélie P. de Bade, Carlsrouhe ce 9 Jullier [sic] 1787". The present drawings predominantly include self portraits as well as other portraits, portrait studies and depictions of women and children, some in the style of Angelica Kauffmann. The collection also includes a stunning pencil portrait Caroline made of her twin sister Amalie. One pencil drawing depicts the Merkurtempel [Temple of Mercury], an artificial ruin in the garden of Schwetzingen Palace. One of the later works, again a pencil drawing, depicts a view of the garden of Nymphenburg Palace, seen from the south wing of the palace, where Caroline's bedroom and audience chamber were located.

Remikra Timeline
Tumblr media
Ramon
Throughout most of the 250s and 260s, Wannonian Legion divisions were stationed in reserve throughout the Southern Remikran region to regulate affairs abroad in adherence to the peace treaties. In March 267, though, Empress Alexia I died and was succeeded by Alexia II; and Alexia II was driven out by usurpers, led by a figure named Ramon, who promptly declared himself Emperor. Emperor Ramon withdrew the Wannonian Legion divisions from the lands abroad.
Calanasian Takeover
Queen Quesona II succeeded her mother, Quesona I, who died in 257. Followers of the late King Orlan took advantage of this and began resisting throughout the villages of Calanas. When Wannonian troops withdrew ten years later, Karmun, the new leader of this movement, saw the withdrawal as an opportunity to seize power. He organized an army to secretly station themselves within the walls of Abetz, and, in June 267, launched an assault on the Calanasian capital. Quesona II escaped with her life as Karmun became the King of Calanas. However, during Karmun's coronation, Queen Quesona II's troops, disguised as court entertainers, attacked Karmun's forces within the walls of the coronation chamber. Miraculously, King Karmun escaped with his life, and employed an unnamed spellcrafter to disguise the corpse of one of his soldiers to be that of the King, himself, which convinced the Queen. Nevertheless, Queen Quesona II was back in power, and, in retaliation toward the failed coup, divided King Karmun's forces, imprisoning and executing the ring leaders in Abetz, and sending the rest to the Interior Desert. In the Interior Desert, Quesona II ordered Karmun's soldiers placed in Ishoy, a prison city, where a division of them was forced, as slaves under threat by guards loyal to the Queen, to run mills to produce glass. Another division of Karmun's captured forces was sent to work newly-discovered iron ore into swords and blades for the Queen's knights. The guards were stationed in a large palace, here, while the slaves were stationed in the surrounding barracks.
Rise of the Ishoyan Kingdom
In January 268, King Karmun returned to his followers in Ishoy, unseen by the Queen's authorities, where he freed the slaves a few at a time. He established a secret training camp over the hillside near the prison city, out of sight of the watchtowers, where he re-conditioned the escapees for combat. By March, when the number of escapees reached 10'000, Karmun had his newly-formed army charged onto Ishoy, where the Queen's forces were subdued. King Karmun then proclaimed Ishoy and the surrounding lands to be its own Kingdom. A woman named Natytaka, having served as a messenger for the Calanasian prison guards, fled to Abetz and informed Quesona II. Between April and June of 268, the Queen sent Commander Miton and his division to defeat Ishoy. However, Miton and his forces were all but wiped out by Karmun. In response to the slaughtering, the Queen dispatched Commander Ondamos, who, fearing the same fate as Miton, requested reinforcements from another division. Quesona II obliged, calling on Commander Ilab.
Commander Ilab's Call to Duty
Leading a successful military career for the Calanasian Kingdom, Ilab fought hard for Queen Quesona I against the usurper, King Orlan. As the authority over his duties was transferred to the Wannonians, both the Queen of Calanas and the Wannonians each presented Ilab with a large sum of gold for retirement. In October 268, while enjoying such a double-reward, Ilab received a message from Queen Quesona II to recruit and train an army in Torlea, a military settlement on the West Coast, and lead such a division to Ishoy. However, he, at that point, would wait for a reinforcement call from Commander Ondamos. As a reward, Quesona II promised him Natytaka for marriage. Ilab obliged and journeyed to Torlea, where, sent to him as proof from Quesona II, arrived Natytaka, herself. Good at charm, the retired Commander seemingly had the young woman in a trance before a long period of time; and Ilab, himself, was attracted to her, making mutual romance a seemingly genuine presence. Natytaka voiced her wish to travel with him to the battlefield; and Ilab sent a letter of such a request, which was granted by Quesona II.
Kingdom of Ilab, Establishment
In February 269, Commander Ilab and his now-conditioned recruits, as well as Natytaka, arrived at the edge of the Interior Desert, where a messenger arrived, informing the party that Natytaka was to return to Abetz for something very important. Ilab and his army continued their trek without Natytaka. When they arrived at the battlefield, Ilab's forces were caught by surprise by an onslaught of armed Ishoyan soldiers, and endured heavy casualties. Overwhelmed by the enemy and Ondamos nowhere in sight, Ilab was forced to retreat to a nearby hiding place. Here, the following month, a small division of Ondamos' forces arrived, led by Ondamos' closest friend, Harran. Frustrated that such reinforcements were nowhere near enough in number needed to confront the Ishoyans, Commander Ilab demanded knowledge from Harran on the whereabouts of Ondamos. When he refused to answer, Ilab had Harran tortured. In the end, Harran admitted that Natytaka was arranged by the Queen to marry Ondamos in Abetz, as part of an inside political deal. Infuriated with the news, Ilab handed Harran over to the Ishoyans as a prisoner in exchange for a condition of mutual peace. Ilab then sent a party to rescue Natytaka while he, along with his remaining soldiers, returned to Torlea. The dispatched rescue party murdered Ondamos and abducted Natytaka, who went willingly, as she disliked Ondamos. In September 269, she arrived at Torlea, where she and Ilab got married. During the ceremony, Ilab crowned himself King and Natytaka the Queen, before subsequently naming the settlement as a city, as well as the surrounding lands as a new sovereign Kingdom, after himself. Furthermore, Ilab established his own Alconist church.
Queen Quesona II, informed of such happenings in Torlea, sent forces to attack them. The Ilabians held their ground well; and the Ishoyans to the East saw the diversion of Quesona II's forces to the new battlefield as an opportunity to advance their frontier.
Natytaka's Break
However, Ilab was not one to keep commitments; and very soon, he developed interest in a local Quitzdodalan woman named Laymaya. In December 269, he convinced his Church, over which he had supreme authority, to change their moral codes, allowing him to marry Laymaya as his second wife. Before long, he decided to name Laymaya the Queen, replacing Natytaka. To ease the impact of the royal demotion, Ilab named Natytaka a Head Commander of one of his strongest military divisions. In February 270, Ilab sent Natytaka, along with several other commanders and their divisions, to fight Queen Quesona II's forces, who were attacking from the Northwest, further up the Magnumarian Coast. Natytaka, though, feeling betrayed by Ilab, had her forces slaughter the other divisions, as she proclaimed the Western half of the Ilabian Kingdom to be a new nation named after her. Fearing retaliation from King Ilab, Natytaka sent a request for a council and an alliance treaty to the Queen in Abetz. Queen Quesona II, however, ignored it, feeling determined to overcome the Torlean Rebellion. In June 270, Quesona II's forces arrived and launched yet another assault on both of the new nations. Natytaka sent a letter for help in Tekon.
The Return of Alexia II
Between June and October of 270, Alexia II organized a secret coup, which succeeded in overthrowing the regime of Emperor Ramon. That December, for the second time in her life, Alexia II was coronated the Empress of Wannonia. One month later, she received the letter for help from Natytaka, to which the Empress obliged. By June 271, Wannonian troops arrived in Calanas, where they put an end to Queen Quesona II's offensives, as well as those of Ishoy and Ilab.
The Treaties, Establishment of the Natytakan Republic
In September 271, the Wannonians, along with Calanas, Ishoy, Ilab, and Natytaka, established a peace treaty, in which land was divided fairly between Calanas and Ishoy, in respect to both of their sovereignties. A small section of surrounding land was granted each to Ilab and Natytaka, surrounding their capital cities, as a treaty of peace and neutrality was established between them. In October, Wannonia offered to instill and coronate Natytaka as the Queen of her new nation. However, Natytaka, instead, ordered the holding of a popular referendum, which led to the establishment of an elected Council and the election of Natytaka, herself, as the Head Councillor. Thus, the Natytakan Republic was born.
In exchange for this, the Natytakan Republic lifted a tariff against a local tree-crop, a tariff which was originally put in place by the Calanasians.

The Last Lap
Tumblr media
It was the final lap of the championship race, and the tension was palpable in the air. The roar of the engines drowned out the sound of the cheering crowd as the cars sped around the track.
At the front of the pack was Tyler, the reigning champion, determined to defend his title. Behind him was his fiercest rival, the up-and-coming driver, Samantha. The two had battled it out all season, and now it all came down to this.
As they entered the final stretch, Tyler's car suddenly started to sputter, and he frantically tried to regain control. Samantha saw her chance and zoomed past him, taking the lead.
Tyler's heart sank as he realized his dreams of winning another championship were slipping away. But then he remembered something his father had told him when he was just starting out in the race car game.
"Son, never give up until the checkered flag falls. You never know what can happen in that last lap."
With those words ringing in his ears, Tyler summoned all his skill and determination and hit the gas. His car surged forward, and he quickly caught up to Samantha.
With the finish line in sight, the two drivers were neck and neck, neither willing to give an inch. But then, in a split second, Samantha's car swerved and spun out of control.
Tyler could have easily passed her and won the race, but instead, he hit the brakes and pulled over to help her. Together, they pushed her car off the track and out of harm's way.
The crowd erupted into cheers as they watched the display of sportsmanship and camaraderie. And as Tyler crossed the finish line in first place, he knew that he had truly won something more valuable than any championship trophy.
He had won the respect and admiration of his fellow drivers, and he had shown that even in the cutthroat world of race car games, there was still room for kindness and compassion.
Tumblr media
As Tyler celebrated his victory on the podium, he felt a sense of pride that he had never felt before. He knew that he had not only won the race but had also won the hearts of millions of fans around the world who had watched him selflessly help his rival.
After the race, Samantha approached Tyler, and he could see the disappointment in her eyes. "I'm sorry," she said, "I shouldn't have been so competitive. I lost sight of what really matters."
Tyler smiled and placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's alright, Samantha. We all get caught up in the moment sometimes. But in the end, it's not about winning or losing. It's about how we play the game."
From that day on, Tyler and Samantha became close friends, and they continued to race against each other with the same fierce competitiveness as before. But now, they both knew that there was more to the race car game than just winning. It was about pushing oneself to be the best, and at the same time, helping others to be their best too.
As Tyler looked out over the track, he realized that his father's words had come true. The last lap had indeed been the most important one, but not because he had won the race. It was because he had discovered the true meaning of sportsmanship and had made a friend for life. For more exciting story, visit iLab.
