Kashiki Yuno yuno my good friend yuno.. i think aiko would get along ok with her. again, doesnt seek her out, but! likes her:) thinks shes silly. likes listening to her talk and indulging in conversation. pre trial 1 results, aiko is generally very closed off, but, later on deems yuno a comfortable presence:) and post trial 2 results starts seeking her out to hang out.. likes sitting with her in silence. helps her take care of mahiru after t1. and umm . yuno also takes care of her. unsure if yuno likes her, too, or if she finds her. lame

Kajiyama Fuuta does NOT like him does NOT like how loud he is!!! thinks he should quiet down. doesn't like how brash he is. she doesn't stop him from acting out (doesn't really.. dissapprove of it? doesn't like the ways with which he goes about things, but, doesn't mind that he overall tries to do them? admires him a bit, maybe. but does think hes stupid and dumb). tries to help him after t2, but he'd propably go "psh i dont need your help" and, well, she wouldn't want to push her luck. she's injured herself, after all.. . does care about him and worry for his safety, though.

Kusunoki Muu pre-t1 results, aiko is too out of it to be annoyed with muu. tries to help her a bit at first, maybe, sympathises with her - but soon finds her annoying and stops trying to help her. after t1 results, she wishes muu would act towards her like she does to haruka, but, she doesn't. and. she was voted guilty, so! thumbs down. doesnt like her:( but . goes along with her schemes n such i think. relates to her also.

Kirisaki Shidou - suicide tw for this one hooo boy ok. this one is a big one. due to the nature of aiko's murder, she gets close to this guy. sorta. doesn't like him. so! aiko's murder. its more explained in the link, but, basically, tried to kill herself and.. huh? what?? how is she in milgram if she killed herself?? well you see, basically, i consider the milgram prison more of a concept than an actual prison in its universe. so. milgram just popped her conciousness out from her last moments and into milgram. idk. ✌️the explanation is too long for this but! so. a bit into t1 - either between her and kotoko's trial or after his innocent verdict - she goes to shidou and basically asks him "am i dead? can you do a check up please?" and, i actually think shidou would take her semi-seriously - of course, he knows she's not dead, but, is propably like. just worried for her. he's been declared innocent at this point, anyways - might as well help. so he tells her, "no, youre not dead." and she gets pissed and angry and upset and sad and depressed and doesnt talk to him again until kotoko attacks her. disappointed bc, if hes right, she failed. and. angry because he Must be wrong. he Must be. or. it all sucks and is shit.

SHIINA MAHIRU 🧡💛💗 likes her positive outlook on this. aiko is very 'love-starved', and, although i think mahiru finds her a bit creepy at first, they both warm up to one another:) theyre buddies... injrued buddies... tries to take care of her after kotokos attack, but, being injured herself, she umm can't that much. but they spend time together. shes very "our unlovable guilty verdicts... could be lovable guilty verdicts", and, just, rlly likes that mahiru is so lovely. she's so warm and always has love to give. and. aiko needs that so bad. it Is unhealthy, yes, aiko becomes sorta very dependant on her for most of her emotional needs... sorta like muu and haruka, but, not rlly, because, yuno is there to tell them "hey youre getting a bit too codependent" n keep them in line lol maybe a bit of girl yuri.. who knows

Mukuhara Kazui (why are all the guys blue?) kazui is the closest thing aiko has ever had to a father/parental figure in a long time, but, she will Not let him know she will Not she will Not let him protect her from kotoko because that would mean unraveling feelings and shit. so. yeah. thats all i will say about this. because. i am unsure if thats the path i will take she does dislike him tho. because hes 'stereotypical strong man' n she envies that she cant be that. and, again, the dad thing.. she doesnt like it. that she feels like that

Momose Amane 💛 Thinks she's silly:) likes listening to her talk about her religion pre kotokos attack- after, too, but the others probs kee the two apart (bc, amanes "you cant use medicine" actually works on aiko). but. yeah. feels bad for the kid, and, wishes she was in a better mental state to help her. at least recognizes shes unable to. doesnt stop her from trying to help her with the little things - which, amane does not like. bc. she feels like shes being treated likea little kid.

Detailed plot of “Narratage” (novel)

Hey! So I just finished my first novel in Japanese, Shimamoto Rios „Narratage“. As some of you may know, this is the novel Matsujuns new movie is based on. Since there is close to no information about the story available (other than „a teacher has a relationship with a student“), I thought I could write a more detailed summary of the plot for the people who are interested.

Please keep the following things in mind:

This is about the novel, not the movie! (The movie might and propably will be different at some points)

This is what I remember from the novel. I might have forgotten things or even misunderstood them completely because Japanese is not my first language.

More than a summary, I might write with too much detail and interpretation so...I hope it's still easy to read

There will be possible spoilers (of course), so I divided it up in parts, from „light spoilers“ to „severe spoilers“ as the plot goes on

Plot and review after the cut!

1. Part: summary/ premise

One night, the first-year university student Kudou Izumi gets a call from her former highshchool-teacher Hayama. He is the supervisor of the drama club at her old highschool and asks Izumi, who was a former member, if she would help the club out for their new play, because they have too few new members. Izumi accepts, but is very nervous. Back when she had been in highschool, she had a special relationship to Hayama, so she is not sure how to act around him.

During highschool she had been bullied and Hayama-sensei had been the only one who had noticed that she was having problems. He had helped her and even unknowingly prevented her from committing suicide. They got to know each other better, shared their hobbys and interests and realized they shared a special connection. From that time on, Izumi had been in love with him. Even now she carries aorund a photograph of them and a letter she had written but never handed over. On the day of graduation, she had confessed to Hayama-sensei, but he had responded that he is uncapable of giving love to others. He then told her that he once was married. He had lived with his wife and his own mother together in a house, but he had failed to notice that the two women were despising each other. Everything ended in chaos as his wife got mentally ill and burned down their house. Now he lost contact to his mother and his wife, who now lives in Hokkaio, and he blames himself for it.

2. Part (light spoilers)

The practice is going well, and Izumi is happy to be reunited again wih her friends. She also gets to know Kono-kun,  an university-student who is also helping out the club. The two of them get along very well, and Kono-kun confesses to Izumi. She refuses, since she likes Kono-kun as a friend, but can't imagine going out with him. Kono-kuns accepts, but asks Izumi if she is in love with Hayama-sensei. Izumi is surprised, but he tells her that her affection is very apparent. Her best friend also knows about Izumis love, but advises her to forget about Hayama-sensei.

Meanwhile, both Izumi and Hayama-sensei realize that they are still very close. They start to meet up casually and some of their meetings are even a bit date-like. Both of them feel attracted to the other, but there is no open flirting or any physical contact.

Then, the whole club is in shock as one member, Yuzuko-chan goes missing. Izumi once again notices how much Hayama-sensei worries and blames himself for not being able to help a student, who had shown signs of mental illnes and trouble before. Yuzuko-chan re-appears after a few days.

During summer vacation, Izumi gets worried about Hayama-sensei since he doesn't answer his phone. She notices that he has gone „missing“, as in he is not at home and nobody knows how to find him. She tries and finally manages to track him down. They finally meet as Hayama-sensei comes back home, completely drunk. Izumi helpes him inside his flat. Hayama-sensei tells her that he got a contact from his ex-wife and that he did'nt know how to react. He asks her to spend some time with him and then requests her to cut his hair since he never goes to the hairdresser. Izumi agrees and cuts his hair, but when she is cutting his bangs, the two of them get close and they both kiss. As she brings Hayama-sensei to his bedroom she notices that there are a lot of things which do not belong to him and asks him, whether he was still in love with his wife. Hayama-sensei than confesses that he had been lying to Izumi, and that he not only still loves his wife, (who lives with her parents in Hokkaido) but that they are still married.

Izumi is devastated that he had lied to her. They spend the next day together, but Izumi tells Hayama-sensei that she doesn't want to meet him privately any more. She also tries to ignore him during practice.

After the final performance of the play, Izumi spends some days at Kono-kuns hometown. He once again asks Izumi to go out with him, and tells her that he doesn't care whether she still has feelings for Hayama-sensei. Izumi agrees and they begin dating.

Part 3 - more severe spoilers

For a few months, everything goes well for  Izumi and Kono-kun. They seem to be a good match, and Izumi feels save. One night however she gets a call from Hayama-sensei who tells her he was lonely. Izumi explains that she is dating Kono-kun and cuts him off. She does not tell Kono-kun so he would'nt worry. A few days later, though, Kono-kun confronts Izumi. He knows about the phone-call and is angry because he thinks Izumi is still too invested in Hayama-sensei. Izumi figures out that Kono-kun had been searching her phone and notes, since he also found the letter and the photgraph, and feels betrayed. To make everything worse, Kono-kun then forces Izumi to sleep with him as a proof of her „love“ to him. He apologizes to her the next day and she forgives him, but doesn't feel save anymore.

A few days later on her way home, Izumi gets stalked by a weird man. She gets scared and calls Kono-kun so he can come to pick her up, but he is still bitter about Hayama-sensei and tells her that she is selfish, only turning to him when she is in need. Since he doesn't help her, Izumi goes to Hayama-senseis flat. He, of course, cares for her, but they soon get into an argument. Izumi feels used by Hayama-sensei, since he still cares for Izumi and implies to have feelings for her, but woudn't commit to anyone. On her way home, she throws the photograph and her old letter into a river.

Weeks later, Hayama-sensei calls Izumi to tell her and Kono-kun that Yuzuko-chan is in the hospital. It's not sure whether she had an accident or whether she committed suicide, but she is in a bad condition. At the hospital, Hayama-sensei tries to coordinate and comforts the visitors. Izumi feels like he forces himself too much. On their way home Izumi finally breaks up with Kono-kun and goes back to the hospital to support Hayama-sensei. She has the feeling that they both need each other. Three days later, Yuzuko dies.

At the funeral, Izumi nearly breaks as she gets confronted by the highschool-teacher that used to bully her in the past. Her best friend gets Hayama-sensei, who defends her like he had done before in school.

Part 4 – Ending  - very severe spoilers!

A few weeks after Yuzukos death, Izumi gets a call from Hayama-sensei – he is in the hospital, too. He is not in a critical condition, but he has to stay there a few nights. He didn't know who to call other than Izumi. She agrees to help him, gets some clothes from his flat for him and visits him every day. On the day before his discharge, Hayama-sensei tells her that after Yuzuko-chans death, he finally had had the strength to visit his wife in Hokkaido. She has decided to come back to Tokyo to start living with him again. He also apllied to change schools. Izumi is sincerly happy for him.

Hayama-sensei asks if he could do anything for Izumi to thank her. Izumi than asks him if she could spend one night with him. Although she immediately apologizes and regrets her request, Hayama-sensei accepts.

The day he gets discharged they both go home to his apartment. Izumi thinks about retracting, but they soon start making out and eventually have sex. As they are lying in bed, they both confess their love to each other. Hayama-sensei tells her that he really wanted to live with her. Izumi begs Hayama-sensei to move away, and not to tell her his new contact details or school. He agrees, but expresses his wishes for Izumi to live safe and happy life.

They spend the next day together at home cuddling and watching their favorite movie and agree to part the next day. Hayama-sensei makes Izumi a present: he gives her an antique pocketwatch that is important to him. Izumi presents him with an expensive pen she had bought as a souvenir in Germany.

They part at the train station and the narrator, which is Izumi herself states that „this had been the last time I had met Hayama-sensei.“

Part 5 – Epilogue (very very severe spoilers, duh)

Izumi still thinks a lot about Hayama-sensei and it's hard for her to overcome her grief and despair of losing him. She eventually graduates university and finds a job. There, she gets to know an employee better and ends up dating him. Ironically, he becomes aware of Izumi because of the pocketwatch she always carries around. She tells him her story and soon, they get engaged.

One night at a film-festival, Izumi meets an old friend of Hayama-sensei. He tells her that he had met him coincidentally a few weeks before. He seems to be doing well with his wife. The friend than asks Izumi whether she and Hayama-sensei had been dating before. Izumi is puzzled, but then the friend explains to her how he came to this deduction: When the two of them had been alone, Hayama-sensei had shown him an old photograph, which he always keeps closed by: the photo of Izumi and himself at graduation. The friend figured that Hayama-sensei must love Izumi very much, even know. The epilogue ends with Izumi crying in public, as she realizes that she will never be able to forget Hayama-sensei and that she may never love a man as much as she loves him.

Review/Personal thoughts

There is so much to say, but I try to make this short.

I was very moved by this novel, partly because I could relate a lot to the main character. There were some dry parts in the middle, but the last few pages were really intense. I cried a lot, especially during the ending and the epilogue. The story really depicts the painful aspects and love, but also how much we can be saved by it. I also think that Jun and Kasumi will fit the characters well.

I was surprised about how the love between Izumi and Hayama-sensei was described. Upon hearing about the movies plot for the first time, there were a lot of people picturing a very sexual relationship, but in my opinion this love is depicted as a more platonic love. Until the sex-scene at the end (which admittedly was described in much detail), they barely even touched. Even in the novel itself, people tell Izumi that she is just having a teenage-crush on a teacher, or that she was just sexually attracted to him. But in the end, her love and bond to Hayama-sensei is more..

The two characters have a good chemistry, and they can't even understand themselves why they are attracted to each other this much. They know that they need each other, that they love each other, but they also can't be together. I liked that the book wasn't going for the 'forbidden love' trope though.  

The ending scene is also bilateral. Izumi cried because she was sad about having lost her soul-mate, but she was also happy about him being well, and because he hadn't forgotten about her.

In the end, Izumi manages to become happy with another man, which shows that yes, people can move on. But it is also implied that she will never be able to forget, and that she may never love another man as much as Hayama-sensei. And that itself shows how unconditional and cruel love can be.

Apart from the romance there was another theme of the novel that got to me: how people reach out to others (or not). Both Izumi and the side character Yuzuko have suffered, but both are not capable of reaching out to others. They keep everything inside and try to appear normal in front of their family and friends. In Izumis case she was lucky enough to have found someone who realized that part of her character, and who cared and reached out to her. Through Hayama-sensei Izumi learned to share some of her pain, sorrows and sadness. Yuzuko-chan, on the other hand, tried to reach out to her friend/love interest, but he didn't act according to it. Throughout the story, several characters and the reader understand that there is something troubling Yuzuko, but nobody manages to reach her. The novel also depicts how devastating one can feel when they are unable to help someone dear to them.

About the controversy of Jun playing Hayama-sensei

I think most of the negativity exists because people just know that he plays a teacher that has some kind of sexual relation with his student. And while I understand that this is morally questionable, I still think it's a good thing that Arashi can act as morally grey characters (just like Sho did in "Kazoku Game"). Also it is to mention that Hayama-sensei has no sexual relations with a student, but that Izumi has already graduated (if that makes it better somehow). Apart from this controversy, for me Hayama-sensei is portrayed as a complex, but fundamentally good person. He has a strong sense of responsibility and even tries to keep away from Izumi to protect her at some point. So all in all I get why there is fuzz about his role, but I don't think it is justified.

What's wrong with car insurance?

I am a safe driver. I've never had a car accident or ticket. As a consequence of my choices, I pay very low rates for car insurance. Other people I know have had accidents and many tickets, they pay a lot for car insurance. In this system, each person pays a different rate based on the consequences of their choices and actions. So what is wrong with this system? Why can't we use the exact same system for health insurance? If I eat right, exercise, and wash my hands then I will rarely get ill and should pay very low insurance rates. My neighbor eats junk food, smokes, and never exercises, has lots of medical issues and will for as long as he lives, shouldn't he pay a much higher rate for insurance? Why would anybody want a government system in which we will both pay the same rate? That is blatantly unfair to me since I make good choices and wont get sick as often. Furthermore, I have the choice of lots of different car insurance companies (Geico, Allstate, Nationwide, Progressive, etc.), this competition drives lower costs and better service. Why would I want to give up choice in favor of a monopoly? What is wrong with our car insurance system that somebody would not want the exact same system for our health care?""

My Weakness (27.02.2017)

Today Has Actually been a surprisingly positive day considering everything i’ve done today that usually would mess me up heavily! 

Started off with a very determined couple of eyes poppin open at 6:00 AM. i laid in bed just thinking for a couple minutes before i popped on my Younow and streamed while i was waking up. a very uneventful stream. a couple of people left some comments. one in particular loved my raspy morning voice. something that was dealt with efficiently once i got some coffee in my system.

Once the Coffee was ingested and an apple was consumed, I got dressed and headed to the gym to do a Chest, Back and Triceps session. Because i want to be as effective as possible i arrive with all my gear on. Its the very first time ive trained in a long Sleeve almost compression like shirt. I bought it last week along with a new Polar Balance weight scale. Anyway. 

Long Sleeve was a good and a bad call. it looked awesome on me is one thing. but it was hindering me during the lifting to some extent because there was so much fabric down at the elbows. Which you will know if you saw my instagram from last week. i injured both my elbows in the same kind of session. so any added pressure on this Area is propably not a good call. :)

My Elbows did not hinder me at all though and even with a week away i felt like my strength had gone up slightly, i was able to do more reps, and did more different lifting with free weights than i did last week when i inadvertently hurt myself. i also tried Creatine Monohydrate in my drinking water for the very first time. It’s a very strange substance. it doesn’t like nothing at all. but it makes the water Murky, and adds a strange consistency to it. Almost like how it tasted when people would dip your head in puddles of rain water as a kid... that didn’t happen to you guys? -.-

The only Massive Gripe i had with myself working out today were my shins and calves. i couldn’t run for more than 10 minutes before they completely cramped up on me. pissed me off royally. but i know myself well enough now that by the time i step on the mill tomorrow to try again. ill at least be able to run 15 minutes before the same shit happens again. -.^

i Spent 2 hours at the Gym before taking a shower, getting changed, and heading to work. Once i got there i threw down a Protein Shake i had prepared the night before. and i was ready to go. didn’t feel at all bad or whimsical like i usually do when i work out in the mornings..

Interestingly today. Me and my boss actually had no like sour undertone to our conversation. We spoke calmly and openly on how we should arrange the store, new products we were keen on bringing in, a couple of things that needed to be done and all in all i’d review today as propably one of my best Mondays at this job ever. At the very least the best monday ive had at work so far in 2017.

We even shared a laugh one point. thats not standard! 

Soon enough i went home. i chilled on the couch, i had a look at myself in the mirror with no shirt on, and i smiled. i’m really liking the progress im making on my chest and shoulders. so ill keep the routine of working those on Mondays. tomorrow is either Legday, or just full on Core and abs. because thats definately where im lacking at this moment. can hardly do 20 situps for crying out loud... i can do like 70 speedy russian twists though. but 20 situps is unacceptable! 

Today I also settled finally on a proper training program that i wish to start doing. and it is Out Of Your Mind Fitness. Currated my John Hennigan, AKA Johnny Mundo from Lucha Underground. He made, and does that program himself, and he is everything id ever aspire to be as far as physical shape goes. minus the wrestling. i can’t be asked doing that! but Movies, Parkour, Kung Fu, and other Flippy shit along with his ridiculous physique. Thats my aim. 35 weeks and some good old determination will get me there! 

Today i also Discovered an actual weakness that will push me to tears everytime. Soldiers surprise homecoming. those videos, and the thought that they have risked their life for their country, and been away from their loved ones for so long. that Reunion, where both parties jump for joy, Shed Tears. and you see the smiles on their face. that moment will forever put tears in the corner of my eye. and a big big joyful smile on my face. 

Today i also edited who gets to see my story on Snapchat. Theres such a heap of people on it that just give no fucks. and quite frankly im not bothered talking to. those people don’t need an Insight into what i think, or what i do. they want to see it, they can bother asking for it.

I think that leaves it off for today. Now im heading to bed. Getting some good hours in of sleep before its back up, and one hell of a leg session before work tomorrow!

tfw youre trying to reconsile with your estranged '''''twin''''''' after months of avoiding each other (their fault)(they were a dick to you)(and shot you) but they just cant stop making it weird & about how theyre a terrible person

i think these twos relationship is very interesting. at the begenning buddy treated kuro like shit bc they were projecting their self-hate and guilt on him, also exasparated by them being technically twins. later kuro moved out bc of that and the two of them didnt see each other again for months.

when they met again buddy apologised but they didnt really form any deep relationship. they are both uncomfortable with each others presence due to how their relationship started & the imposed familial status that neither of them feels good about.

buddy feels guilty for how they treated kuro, they are also aware that this is just another failure in a long line of their failures. they know they fucked up, theyre used to that feeling at this point, and they simply accept that fact. theyre sorta weirdly apathetic about the whole thing when meeting kuro again - they made peace with what theyve done wrong and are just trying to do damage control atp.

basically they said 'i know what i did to you was fucked up and im sorry. i have a history of fucking things up and i did it again. im trying to be better and i fail time and time again but i will try again anyway, even if theres a huge possibility ill just mess up again. im trying to set things right and ill disappear from your life if thats what you want. you dont have to forgive me or like me. im sorry' (<-also notice how this apology is still sorta centered around how bad of a person bud is and not what they put kuro through. buds self-loathing is still shining through here even as they are trying to set things straight. in their effort to try and explain their thought process they accidentally focused on the wrong thing!!!! they dont really mean it that way but to kuro thats what it comes off as)

kuro used to hate or at least heavily dislike bud for a long time and thinks theyre a self centered asshole and also just plainly annoying. even the apology he got from them after months of radio silence on both ends didnt feel like enough to him. it felt like buddy was just using the apology as an opportunity to say 'im a bad person. sorry for that lol it will propably happen again, do with this info what you will'. it pisses him off a bit and he propably yells at buddy for it, who is very apologetic and just takes it, which just pisses kuro even more bc he WANTS a confrontation, hes angry and hurt and is airing out his frustrations at bud and he wants a reaction but he gets none. buddy knows very well what they did and are treating this as a sort of righteus punishment

so overall. i think their relationship is just kinda like this for a few years - long periods of avoiding each other interspersed with a few outbursts (sometimes kuro starts and sometimes bud does). after a few more years i feel like things might start being better, but thats only bc they both gradually grow as people sepeartely, which just has the side effect of making them both more chill. maaaaybe after a decade or two the animosity stops and they become friendly with each other but i dont rlly think they ever get to Twin Level Closeness. at that point both of them have their own fullfilling lives and are fine with things as they are

...or maybe not. idk man im still working shit out so this might all change and in a few months this whole rant will be ooc and innacurate, who knows! i certainly dont

hi!! thank you so much for the question, i wanted to ramble about my favourite polish YA book series for a while and this is the perfect oppartunity!

hoo boy, Manfred! the short answer is - i love him so frickin much.

the long answer:

Manfred is one of my favourite characters in fnin(theyre all my favourites but shhh). he provides a nice contrast to felix net and nika's teenage antics. Rafał Kosik managed to create an artificial intelligence that is both belivable as - well - an artifical being driven by logic and propability while also being a sarcastic little shit who really cares about his friends and wants his teenage creator to grow into a good independent person.

he is a very helpful tool for the plot, often helping the trio with their shenanigans and practically being their interactive wikipedia - wnich is great and makes thing easier for the main characters and pushes the plot forward..... but beacuse of that it sometimesn feels like the trio mostly care about manfred beacuse of his skills(maybe except for nika). Manfred himself often complains about the friends’ treatment of him. (i do know they do care abt him tho!!)

at the same time, its not that he is sorely confined to Net’s minicomputer - beacuse of the nature of his existance he can simultanuesly coexist in a infinite amount of places(and synchronises with his other copies to remain a one whole). he is mentioned numerous times to have friends(other AIs) and invests on the stock market(hes propably a billionare lol), not to mention the fact he controls traffic in Warsaw. hes a busy guy!.... but the version of him in net’s computer is often bored tho

Manfred often feels like a tired reasonable adult trying his best to keep three extremely intelligent and troublesome teens at bay, and i really love that! its common in media to portray an AI as somethin otherwordly and cold(not that manfred cant be those thing sometimes!), so seeing an AI so... human, while still being distinct enough to cause a certain level of disconnect is a nice change!

overall, as i said before - i really adore him and every time he appears in the books is a delight!

i could talk more about him and his relationships with other characters(especially Net) but its late and im a bit tired! mayhaps ill add something later..

went to see puss in boots the last wish for my bday a few days ago and got the urge to draw cats standing up on hind legs lol

cats are pretty basic but im a warrior cats kid trough and trough so it seemd fitting

the design is barebones so ill propably change thing later

honestly i dont know if ill even use them but it was fun designing them!
