The Canadian singer delivers 9 new songs on Echoes of Silence, enlisting a familiar producer from his first two mixtapes, in Illangelo. Illangleo produced this new mix tape in its entirety, with sparse assistance from DropxLife and Clams Casino.

The project was reportedly created while Abel Tesfaye spent time in Montreal, and to that end, there is a song dedicated to the Quebec city on the tracklist.

I dropped every girl because I spent a year with a Québécois Lifeguard in pool class in middle school.

I am trying to turn up in Montreal.
