A/N: It’s been a quite long time since I last wrote a story in English so forgive me if it’s too many grammar errors or misused words.

I had fallen for my best guyfriend.

I kept it myself because I didn’t have the guts to tell anyone.

Kai, my best friend, had a girlfriend and she was also my friend.

I thought my feeling was so wrong and I usually cried my heart out at night wondering why I and he were best friends.

We had been friends since the first year in high school.

I was a shy and clumsy girl while he was the most wanted boy in our school. Many girls were secretly in love with him. Kai just laughed at them, telling me that he didn’t care about those girls. I even saw him throwing away a bunch of letters and gifts he received from the fangirls. “How annoying and silly they are.” He exclaimed. What if he knew his best friend was one of those fangirls?

I still remembered the day Kai and Kim informed everyone that they were a couple. I was taken aback since Kai hadn’t told me anything about his relationship. Even when Kim beamed so happily telling me: “Hey Keng, Kai and I are dating”, Kai just kept silent. I was speechless and smiled weakly. I was their friend, and I had to cheer for them, support them.

I had been doing so. When Kai and Kim were on the verge of breaking up, I was the one who helped them make it up. I helped Kai find the loveliest present for Kim for her birthday, I showed Kim how much Kai loved her though I didn’t even see any passionate affection that Kai had towards Kim. He just said he and Kim had been a couple. That was all. I didn’t ask him any questions because I didn’t want to be hurt anymore. Seeing the person who you really loved dating another girl and pretending you always supported them, what could be more painful than that?

On the day Kai went to the USA to study, I didn’t see him off. I didn’t want to see him and Kim kissing, crying, hugging. The day he left would be the day I stopped myself from loving and dreaming of him. No more love, no more tears, no more pain.

But when I was listening to Memories, our, no, my and his favorite song, the doorbell rang. I opened the door and saw no one but a paper. Then I realized it was the song named “Your song” and it was written by Kai. I could remembered his handwriting.

So excuse me forgetting

I burst into tears. Suddenly, someone hugged me from behind.

I stopped crying and was shocked at Kai’s appearance.

“What the hell are you doing here? You’re supposed to be at the airport. Go and stop making me look like a silly bitch.”, I said sarcastically.

“What are you saying Keng? You still don’t realize my feeling for you?”

“What the hell are you talking about? What kind of feeling you have for me? We were, are and will still be best friends, only best friends. We all know that.”

I screamed. Tears fell down my cheeks but I didn’t even wipe it out.

“I love you.” He murmured and hugged me tightly.

“I loved you. Iam loving you. I will still love you.”

After that, I knew that he had changed his flight. He and Kim had split up few days ago because he was tired of cheating on her and his heart. He thought that I only considered him as my best friend. He tried to love Kim like he did to me but he just couldn’t.

“Kai, can you sing Your song for me?” I teased him.

“Sure my little crying baby. But this song is quite different this time. Come over here and listen it carefully.”

I fell asleep when listening to his heartbeat.
