Oh. It’s just you. Dang, I accidentally gave you my best customer service smile.
Request Number 5: Iluka!
I do like... one request every four months. I’ll make it through the list one day. I almost married Iluka in this game, but I broke up with her to romance Lisette, who definitely grew on me. Unfortunate that this game was so incredibly grindy that it burned me out and I never did get married in it. Oh well. We’ll try again with RF5.

Ollie x Iluka (Trio of Towns) || Short for Something
Lulukoko was a town full of long summer days and cool summer nights, and today was no exception. After all of the shops had closed for the night, all that was left awake at this hour was a pair of night-owls at the Seaside Cafe.
Iluka sat on the counter, sipping absentmindedly at a watermelon sorbet drink while Farmer Ollie sat on one of the bar-stools, digging a spoon into some watermelon sorbet of his own. This was a usual occurrence it seemed, judging by the casualness of their interactions.
“I was wondering something earlier,” Iluka spoke, putting her drink down and nonchalantly looking down her shoulder at Ollie, who spared no glance her way “What does Ollie stand for anyway? I know that can not be your actual name. It must be something real lame I bet.” Her lips curled into a smile as she tried to goad it out of the farmer, who only looked at her out of the corner of his eyes.
Ollie’s dark blue hair, slick with sweat from a long day of work, hardly shifted as the man shook his head. He smiled, mouth full of sparkling teeth, and chuckled slightly.
“Why don’ ya guess then?” Though his words were short, Ollie wanted to play along with Iluka, the two of them often bantering back and forth in the daytime as well. Theirs was a special relationship, with no name to it yet, but the other ladies stopped openly flirting with him a while ago. Weather or not it was because of Iluka’s scary angry face, no one knew.
The Cafe Owner hummed and nodded, turning to look up at the starry sky as she tried to think of names.
“Oliver.” She offered up with a start, turning her whole torso to the farmer, who was now propping his head on his elbow that rested on the bar. “Nope.”
“Come on!” Iluka groaned, “I don’t know that many names that could fit. Is it Ollie? Please tell me that isn’t your full name?” She only groaned more as ollie chuckled back. “Well nah, that isn’t my full name. I have ah last one as well, ‘luka.” When the woman gave him a look that could probably kill, he just laughed it off.
“I’m not joking!!” Iluka cried out, reaching over to try and knock Ollie face-first into his bowl. Thankfully, he caught it in time - by reaching out and taking hold of her hand in his. Her face heated up from the connection, frown staying as though it was a permanent feature, while the farmer continued to smile back at her.
“You really want me to tell ya?” He asked, the two of them drawing in closer to each other, “I’m dying to know.” Iluka responded in a softer voice, already closing her eyes in preparation for the inevitable kiss.
“It’s Oleander. “ He spoke, and the laugh that erupted from Iluka’s mouth stopped all hope for kisses dead in their tracks.
“Are you shitting me?” She asked, the young farmer pulling away with a slight pout, though knowing this would happen. When Ollie shook his head in response, she softened up a bit but kept trying to hold in her laughter. Another fit came, with soft ‘I’m sorry ollie’s’ every other laugh or so.
The laughter quieted down after a long moment, with Iluka wiping her tears away as Ollie picked at his bowl again. The moment hung still with ambient noise, before Iluka spoke up again. “So, why Ollie? Figured you couldn’t get any dates as Oleander?” She asked, hoping it would bring his mood up.
“Oleander Emmet Crow, actually.” Ollie responded, “I shortened it to Ollie because I hate my full name. Though I didn’t want to change because of Craig, even if he’s the reason I’m out here in the first place.” Ollie and his stepfather’s mutual disdain for each other was something Iluka knew bits about, and was kind enough not to touch. Though the young man seemed to be getting into his own head as he thought about the situation himself.
“At least you didn’t have my parents,” Iluka joked as she hopped down from her perch on the bar, “Or you’d have the exact same name as your sister, only with a letter removed.” That got Ollie to laugh again, and the pair started cleaning up the remnants of their late-night treat before heading off back to their own homes.
