Happy Birthday Gongchan! (warning: long post)

The time has finally come for me to make my long post about Gongchan. Like, look. If it weren’t for Channie I wouldn’t have this blog…. and a lot of things would have never happened to me..

Alright so I guess I’ll start with my history with B1A4 and specifically Gongchan. (and kpop overall)

In seventh grade (I’m in tenth now) I listened to a lot of groups- Got7 just debuted at the time, BTS was new, boyfriend and UKISS (WITH KEVIN RIP) and AKMU. 2NE1 and F(x) and so on and so forth. The thing here is that I never actually stanned. I knew all of the members but I only knew their name and what they sounded like. This was all until I was introduced to my first variety show- ASFY. At the time the MC’s were Kangin (Super Junior), Sungjae (BTOB), and Amber (F(x)). The show was really funny, and I realized that there was more to kpop than just the music. I started digging a bit and slowed down. (LOL). In ninth grade I made my tumblr account and returned to actually stanning and realized how much I missed over my eighth grade year. B1A4 was a group I listened to but didn’t obsess over until @shin-dingdong-woo told me about tumblr. 

That’s when I fell in love with B1A4 and didn’t only listen to their music, but also loved the members.

And you know what’s a crazy coincidence? Gongchan became an MC for ASFY in like season 4.. xD
