If she doesn't know about it, she'll definitely fangirl about it to her

You were still sneezing, just not as bad anymore

That was until one of the cats walked up to your face and began licking your face

You could feel a strong sneeze coming up but you didn't want to scare him away so you ended up having to hold your breath so you wouldnt sneeze

You held it in for such a long time that even Selina wondered how you were still alive

But you couldn't hold it in for too long so you ended up sneezing anyways lmao

Millie is talking about my Knight! John Price x Princess!Reader one shot "As You Wish" for any of you who are interested <3 i've been dreaming about eventually turning this one shot into a proper fic once i have more time. just too many ideas and not enough time ): spoilers and whatnot under the cut!

Sir John Price is only a knight because he comes from a long dynasty of them. His father was one, and his father before him, and so on. It's a good paying job, and one he doesn't mind doing, but if he hadn't been trained to fight from birth, he would have chosen a different profession. However, he is the first in his family to receive such an honor as being the king's personal guard.

He's a natural scholar, as seen in the story. He reads up on all the old stories of the gods, ones that are seldom worshiped anymore. It's why he was able to point out the constellations to the princess and entertained her with stories while they were snowed into that old cabin.

He's a better hunter than most knights are because he always thought it was unfair that food would be given to him simply because of his profession. He made sure he studied well with the bow to be able to provide for himself and not expect people to provide for him simply because he was someone to be feared.

Though he studied the gods, he's not a religious man. Never really was. Only read about them because the old folk tales were a good way to pass the time.

He isn't married in the story, but he's not a virgin. He'd never pay for sex, and would always stray away from prostitutes, but sometimes during campaigns he would be approached by women. Never would seek sex first, though, and certainly not because he didn't want it. He's very aware of the fear his status brings, and he likes to know that a woman is agreeing to fuck him because she wants to and not because she's scared to say no to him.

Because of this, the man is TOUCH STARVED. He was secretly eating up every moment him and the princess had to cuddle up to stay warm in the story. And when she was naked after she fell into the stream? Of course he is a chivalrous man, but he certainly enjoyed it more than he should have lmao.

On that note, he is a very giving lover. Not submissive, as we've seen him be more than stern with the princess he answered to in the story, but just willing to do whatever it takes to please.

He really likes missionary in this universe lol. Just likes seeing the look on his lovers face while he's fucking them because he refuses to rely on sound alone to ensure that they're actually enjoying it.

I like to imagine he sketches. He cannot draw people for the life of him, but scenery and objects are his forte. If I do end up turning this into a proper fic, I'd like to include more of this into the story.

As a child, his favorite animal used to be the fox because he liked the scarlet red color of their coats. Until he saw an old farmer sobbing over the loss of his chickens due to their untamed hunger. He grew to favor the wood warbler instead.

He knows a few songs but is a terrible singer. Only recites them after he's had plenty of mead.

His favorite color is red. There's no reason behind this, I just think Knight!Price would look hot as fuck in plain brown pants and a dark red shirt lmfao.

He's also a bit younger in this universe than in canon due to people not really living all that long in these types of settings. I think in canon he's around 37, but I'd place him closer to 32 in this universe. Not much of a difference, but with him being a knight and all he probably wouldn't live to the age of 40.

Not even in this universe can John Price escape the breeding kink, because he certainly has one! However, he refuses to have children and subjugate them to the same, harsh fate and training he had to endure as a child simply due to their lineage. (if only a certain princess would come along and save him from that fate... tragic.)

anyway, i think that's about all my brain can crank out right now. i love this stupid little universe. i still can't believe i created so many gods for them to worship lmfao. i did way too much world building for my own good, but given the chance i would utilize a lot of it in a proper story (: thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to gush about this!!! i'm honestly really surprised a lot of people enjoyed that story la;kdj

i just think snape (and a lot of hp characters in general) r way more complex than the way fandom represents then and i love how u write about all these characters esp snape bc he is a significant character in the fic im writing and i dont want to reduce him to evil bc he joined a terrorzt cult or good just bc he helped dumbledore but i also sort of want to explore how he ended up joining the death eaters (im headcannoning that being so good at potions bit him in the ass bc i imagine post hogwarts snape just wanted to be left alone to make potions and be better than everyone at magic (he really was out there inventing spells as a student!!) sorry for rambling :)

I’m glad you like the way I analyse the characters lmao, I’m pretty sure I’m not very kind to most of them. They surely are way more complex than their fanon counterparts; the fandom loves conventionally good-looking people without really caring much about their characters and if they need to change them or downplay their personalities so they can be “allowed” to like them they will.

I think my portrayal of Snape might be the most accurate portrayal of anyone I actually write of, on here — but I would certainly love to analyse more characters (I don’t think the HP fandom would take that kindly, however).

You don’t need to reduce characters in labels of good and bad people. Show what they do, tell what they think, give us their story — good or bad are both subjective adjectives that are mostly infused in what society deems as correct and incorrect. Let people decide what that character is to them, but be fair to who you are writing, especially Snape since his character tends to be heavily misunderstood (which was kind of like the point but you’d think people would start catching on — it’s been years since the last book was published after all).

You can HC whatever you wish like doing but to be honest I’ve always thought Snape, as this kid from nowhere, wanted to make a name for himself, wanted to grow to be a great wizard (which he was). It’s one of the things that scream Slytherin about his character to me.

Snape has been shown to be quite talented in different branches of magic and a lot of people tend to ignore that for the sake of antagonising him (because people always like when the not-main-antagonist is a weak, little bitch).

And when it comes to how he ended up joining the Death Eaters; I think of a teenage boy who had nowhere to turn to ended up in the bad crowd since he had nobody in the good one. Severus Snape had been severely mistreated, abused, harassed and antagonized by his own classmates. Sirius Black tried to kill him when he was just fifteen and I genuinely don’t think he would’ve forced himself to join the group where he would be forced to interact with his former abusers. He ended specializing with the bad people during school — much more realistic than Snaters want it to be.

Abused child ends up going dark because nobody helped him when they could? That’s bullshit, we all know that only happens with conventionally good-looking characters, don’t we?

But he got support, good or bad, and these people wanted him in, they would take him in. For someone who just wanted to belong somewhere, that was crucial.

I think Snape was smart enough to know there are wars you can’t be neutral with. You either flee or fight, and being poor as shit as he was, it was most definitely fighting (even if he didn’t fight as much as others would expect him to *cough* Bellatrix *cough*). And he ended up switching sides because he’s not loyal to the cause, but he’s loyal to people. If you believe in him, if you can look past all of his dark robes, greasy hair and uneven teeth and see what he is and what he means, then you’ll gain him. Dumbledore was able to see hope in him and Voldemort used him as a tool, both used him but only the latter underestimated him.

Severus has to have the best character arc in the series, he is quite the character to explore and I hope you’ve liked what I’ve written of him so far, I’d love some feedback if you have any opinions about a certain post or something!

im sorry i wrote too much probably i just…really like keith…

first impression: Space Nico di Angelo. basically a moody, angry, lonely outsider who didnt need anybody and was like an antihero. in general i thought he was gonna be like really angsty and sad cause thats what all the fanart of him seemed to be. this was also back when just season one was out, and i thought his whole story arc was about being an alien because, again, fanart. 

impression now: still space nico di angelo?? i didnt expect he’d be so caring though, i loved that! like, keith is a loner, but its not cause he wants to be. people just keep abandoning him/getting abducted by aliens and he tries his damnest to keep people together every time he does find a new family. hes such a team player, he just?? loves his team so much?? hes the only one who signs up for that suicide mission, he fights zarkon solo for shiro, and even though it would kill him to lose the team he runs off so he doesnt put anyone else in danger and i just,,, have a lot of feelings about keith. and i really like how, even though hes touch averse, he still craves intimacy and you can especially see it in how open he is with the little touches between him and shiro. he’s also not an angry person i think, hes just been dealt all these bad hands. keith strikes me as someone who couldve been a quiet, but honestly easily content and mild mannered sort of person. he seems more gentle by nature, but you are what the world makes you i guess 

favorite moment: the part in blade of marmora when he has the hallucination about seeing shiro–and shiro is literally right there watching. i went through all of season 2 the night it came out and by that point it was like 5 am and i had to stop and wonder if i had fallen asleep caus no way did someone just say shiro was the person keith “most desperately wants to see” i was so damn happy. it also made keith’s fear of losing shiro a lot more visceral, and honestly watching it for me is just painful. seeing shiro and red both lash out and ready to take down everyone in the base to save keith was also amazing. my favorite episode 

idea for a story: i was doodling something for this earlier so–little mermaid-ish type au where the reason keith doesnt look galra is cause he made a deal with haggar to get his human form so he could go back to earth with the Champion

unpopular opinion: personally i dont think he’s romantically interested in lance. i also think he and lance would have actually been a lot closer by now if lance wasnt actively pushing him away, which is a shame. in season 2 especially you see the rivalry is more one sided and keith really is trying to make things work. not that i dislike lance for it or anything, but i think his issues with keith are about himself more than keith and as soon as he realizes that things will get a lot better for them both 

favorite relationship: i feel like this doesnt even need to be said lmao but sheith definitely sheith. i felt like really conflicted about it at first though cause even when keith is first introduced and rushes in to save shiro i was feeling it but..uh…i was totally dead convinced shiro was a sleeper agent thatd betray everyone lmao. once i came around though i loved everything about their relationship. their history, the mission failure, keith’s time in the desert and the way his voice breaks when he speaks to shiro in that soft gentle tone, the way theyre always so honest and vulnerable with each other, the way shiro sees him as a leader, all the parallels thematically, its just,,, i really like their character development a lot alright 

favorite headcannon: i firmly believe keith is a druid in all honesty and even if he isn’t id still insist caus it just makes too much sense to me lmao. i also really like trans keith and ace keith
