"I fucking hate you." You say as you take a couple strides and plant your lips firmly on hers.

That night you took the time to catch up with Paige. You weren't going to let her in easily but it was nice to have the closure. You both agreed to start again but take a different approach on your relationship.

No more hookups. No more flings.

"So... aerospace engineering huh?" Paige asked, sipping on a glass of water.

"Yeah, I just didn't really know what I wanted to do but I knew I wanted to either do something with teaching or engineering. Looking into the future, educators don't get paid very well so I decided to look into engineering." You said.

You two were sitting on your small hotel couch, sitting on opposite ends. The distance felt weird but both of you were too afraid to say anything.

"What made you pick aerospace engineering?"

"I literally looked at potential engineering majors and I thought aerospace was a cool term. That's kinda it."

"You certainly are something."

You smiled and looked down at your phone. A text from Nika came through.

You smiled and closed your phone. Paige's lips frowned, she wasn't sure why she was feeling a certain way. The way that made her stomach churn. She knew she had no right to be jealous, it was all too fast to return to the way you two were. Paige couldn't help it though, the way that she didn't want to wait to get back to the closeness you once had.

"What?" She asked nonchalantly.

"Nothing." You smiled and looked at her.

"Alright." She looked down.

"Uh were you planning on staying long? Cause if you were we can order take out. Or i can cook whatever you prefer."

She wanted to, wanted to catch up and whatever. But it felt like an intrusion, perhaps too early to stay so long. That's what the old Paige had the privilege to do.

"Nah, I should get going. Thanks though." She stood up.

"Oh, alright. I'll walk you out."

It was a short distance from the couch to the door and it hurt both of you.

"Thanks for coming."

"Thanks for hearing me out." Paige turned to look at you.

You two stood there kind of awkwardly before she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead. Your eyes fluttered shut for a moment, your shoulders dropping at the relaxing gesture.

"Goodnight, Auburn."

"You know my name you know, UCONN. But goodnight."

You both smiled and Paige opened the door. She walked out into the hallway and continued to the elevators. You shut the door behind her and let out a deep sigh.

Sure you missed her and you were super happy that you two could start over. But you were worried that even though you had agreed to go slow, you wouldn't be patient enough to get back to her.

You knew the old Paige was gone, she had grown and matured. She's changed and so have you.

You take your phone out of your pocket and order DoorDash. You were in the mood for something simple so you ordered your food and texted Nika.

You heart her message and hear a knock on the door. Opening it, a DoorDash delivery person stands in front of you. Swiftly, you take your food and give a tip before shutting the door.

You almost moan at the smell and rip it open, digging into your food. It was nice being somewhere away from home or school but you did miss both of those.

Bringing the food over, you turn on the tv and surf until you land on some crappy home reality show. Your phone pings again and its another text from Nika. This time it's a link to an article.

That was the headline. You scroll a bit skimming through the article. Apparently someone caught a picture of Paige coming into your hotel room and the person somehow knew it wasn't her own room.

Paige's contact photo popped up on the banner.

You didn't give her much to work with, you didn't really care if they thought you two were something. Because the important thing was that the people closest to you knew the truth.

Finishing your dinner you decide to get ready for bed. Putting on your favourite playlist and doing all your nightly activities before crawling into the semi-soft sheets.

You didn't really bother scrolling on your phone like you normally do when you're winding down. Too tired from today's activities, so you plug in your phone and turn off the nearby lamp.

The next morning, the early light attempted to peek through the blackout curtains. Naturally waking up you sit up and yawn. Sleep fatigue had caught you for a brief moment and you stood up carefully, padding over to open the curtain.

You smiled. The scenery was breath taking. The stunning grey pavement loaded with a bunch of colourful cars. The fucking parking lot was your view.

You grab your phone and open it seeing a few notifications but nothing important. Today you decided you were going to take up Nika's offer and join them at the facility.

You got ready for the day, pulling your hair back into your signature ponytail with a tiny braid tied into it.

You didn't pack a bunch of athletic clothing but you did pack a pair of shorts and a thin tee. It wasn't the most flattering fit you've ever worn but you make do.

You called for an uber and waited out in the lobby until then.

A sleek black SUV pulled up and you got in the backseat. You knew never to sit in the front unless absolutely necessary. You treated the front seat as only being taken if you're close to the driver. Which you're not so you opt for the back.

"Hi." The driver says as they wait for you to buckle up.

"Hey, the UCONN training facility."

They nod and start driving.

You get there a bit before the time and see Nika just pulling up.

"Hey Nika."

"Hey, ready to go?" She asked, her hair tied back.

"Yeah, sorry I didn't really pack anything athletic."

"Oh well you can borrow an extra jersey if you'd like." She says in her own jersey. Usually they don't wear them if its not game day or practice but the flexibility of the jersey created a way for fast paced movement and lightness.

"Oh, if you have an extra one that would be good."

"Sure, come on." She scanned her ID and held the door for you.

"Thanks."

She led you to the court and to the locker room. It was empty, the faint humming of the building's machinery sending soft soundwaves to your ears.

"Uh, I'm sure there's one around here." Nika put her stuff down and searched until she grabbed a white piece of fabric.

"It might be a bit big but it'll do for now. We can even match!" She smiled.

"Don't all jerseys match?"

"I mean yeah but it'll be like you're officially on the team."

"I don't know if I deserve to wear it then, I'm not very good."

"Oh shush, I'm sure you're being very modest."

You slip off your shirt showing off your black Nike sports bra and slip the jersey on. It was light and flexible just how you thought it would be.

"You know, back in high school I had a crush on this one girl who had a number 5 jersey." You smirked a bit showing Nika how the jersey was literally double your size.

"Was it Paige?"

Your smile faltered.

"No actually."

Nika gave you a surprised look but she didn't buy it.

"Huh, didn't know you were capable of loving." She joked.

You lightly hit her. You were unaware of who's jersey you were wearing, the name shown off on the back. The blue lettering bold, UCONN 5 on the very front.

Nika smirked when she saw who's jersey she had fished out. She opted to not say anything and led you to the court. No one had arrived yet and Nika said it was just cause she wanted to have some fun with you before the others did.

"Alright you know how to properly use a basketball right?" She said tossing you one.

"Yeah, P taught me."

"Oh, we're back to calling her P, huh?" Nika smiled.

"Shut up. Paige taught me."

You dribbled a bit before bending a bit, feeling the rhythm of the ball. Tossing the ball towards the net, your wrist bent for an accurate follow through, the ball goes into the net with a slight whoosh. You made a basket from the free throw line.

"Damn, usually people who don't play don't really get a basket on their first go."

"This isn't my first time playing, thought P said that."

"I meant in a while."

You smiled and passed her the ball. She made an easy basket again from the free throw line. You two played a bit with the ball until the doors open and a few of Nika's team comes in, in their jerseys.

"Nika, hey!" Azzi calls.

You both greet the girls and Kaitlyn smirks. Her eyes crinkle at the corner.

"You look official in that jersey."

"Nika lent it for today."

"You sure it was Nika?" She hinted looking at the back lettering.

You give her a confused look and Nika ushers them into the locker room.

"What was that about?" You asked making another basket.

"Dunno." She smiled.

"You're a terrible liar."

"Just, you'll see." She catches the ball from you.

The girls come out and you all start playing a bit of actual basketball, they went easy on you and you appreciate it. They took this time to work on actual casual fun instead of perfecting every little mistake and pushing themselves to be perfect.

Finally, a 6'0 familiar girl turns up.

"Sorry I'm late." She says, not looking up from her phone.

"There she is!" KK runs over and tackles Paige.

You laugh at the two before looking over at Nika. She's giving you a knowing look and you shake your head. It wasn't awkward that she was here, no. You were actually kind of happy. You missed being around Paige and playing basketball with her like the old days.

KK eventually got off Paige and she looked at her team. Her eyes land on your figure, your back was turned to her but she could spot you in a crowd if she had to.

You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye.

Your figure had caught her off guard sure, but ironically the guard had caught something bigger. The large BUECKERS in blue had stood out the most. Where had you gotten her jersey?

"You're staring." Sarah said nonchalantly.

Paige turned to her. "Where'd she get that?"

"Nika said she fished it out and lent it to her for the day. You got a problem with it?" She smiled, knowingly.

"Uh, no." Paige mumbled.

She watched as you talked, your lips moving as every syllable escaped from your mouth.

And I got that red lip classic thing that you like.

Finally, you noticed her and walked up to her.

"Hey P."

She smiled at the nickname. Sure her friends, family called her the simple name but it was oddly different when you said it. It was like a secret only you two had but unfortunately it was pretty public.

"Hey, Auburn."

"Are you just going to call me that from now on? I have a name."

"Your university is fun to say what about it?"

"It's like you're allergic to using my name." You joke.

"I'm not, it's just more fun."

"Okay, I'll use your name to show you it's not scary to use someone's name."

"Alright."

"Paige Bueckers."

"Auburn."

You shook your head and hit her shoulder.

"Lovebirds, we have a game." Ice called.

You turn to look at her and smile. Looking down you avoided Paige so she couldn't see the blush that painted your cheeks.

"Your jersey looks good." She said promptly.

"Thanks, Nika lent it to me, and look! It's your old high school number." You smiled.

You remembered. Paige had thought it was sweet you still remembered her number.

"Yeah, carried it to college too."

You pause.

"Huh?"

"The 5? It's still my number."

And when we go crashing down, we come back every time.

Your words get caught in your throat. You spin around to try and get a look at the name at the back and sure enough you catch the last few letters of Paige's last name. You look up and see Nika beaming at you.

You send her a glare her way and silently curse her out.

"I am so sorry. I can take it off if it's yours. I didn't know Nika gave me your jersey."

"It's alright, I already have mine on and plus it looks better on you anyways." She smiles and you smile back.

It takes you back to the days where you wore her jersey for high school matches and wore her apparel casually around the school. Everyone knew you two were basically best friends who were in denial but no one really said anything.

"Guys, come on." Kaitlyn whined.

You shake your head and head back onto the court. Paige headed into the locker room for a brief moment and then joined your guys' game. Her position filled, doing what she did best.

You had a lot of fun and especially had the most fun with Paige. Unbeknownst to you and the girls, the school's media team had come in and snapped a few shots of the team, you being in the shots as well.

You wouldn't have known it then but the amount of headlines and speculations that would stir from a few pictures would cause your whole world to flip.

Ken X Wife!Reader Headcannons

Ohhh, where to begin. First off, you have NO idea how you got into the situation of marrying a sadistic butcher and gaining both a yeast golem son and a *human* daughter. But who cares? You have managed to get by just fine, and that isn't a problem for you at all!

You and Ken were a PERFECT match. From the day you two locked eyes with eachother, he knew his future would become brighter from that day onward. And he was right! Ken has never felt lonely ever since, and neither have you!

You two often take turns running the shop while the other goes out on a mission. When you walk back into that shop with bits of purple blood on your clothes and hair he SWOONS at the sight of you. And he'll gladly help you clean up after yourself after a mission. Change of clothes? Hes got a folded pile ready in your rooms. Need a wash? Shower/bath has been made sure theres enough hot water. Feeling tense? You'd be surprised that his large hands can do a good massage!

When your not out on a mission and instead holding down the shop, your glad to do so! Especially with the kids, they wouldn't admit it but they adore you more than Ken..

Speaking of, you've never been happier to be the proud parent of Breadhead and Mel! Often helping them serve customers, wash dishes and cook up some recipies for the orders. Mel likes to play tiny tricks with you and often bets on random things. E.g. who can serve the most people before Breadhead finishes a song on the piano? And Breadhead certainly is a mama's boy when it comes to you. Any buisness you ask him to do WILL be taken care of, whether you ask him or not.

Oh, and you have a.."friendly" banter with Mud often. You'll catch him stealing a few scarab, so you go over and SLAM your fist into his stomach so he retches them all back up. You'll be serving up a customers order, and all of a sudden the plate is gone (and Mud has an awfully cheeky grin on his face).

But anyways, back onto Ken! When theres a slow day in the shop, and the two of you are alone, Ken would walk over to the record player and put on a song for you two to dance to! Often its a slow song, but if a slightly quicker song comes on? Ken WILL have to learn to match your speed quickly, or else!

Acts of affection are often acts of service or physical affection. If your standing near him you'll possibly find his hand your shoulder or waist. He'll go and gift you anything he thinks you'll like, from fancy clothes to jewelry and such -- he gets paid a good amount of scarab, so you don't have to worry about the costs.

DEFINETLY the big spoon, this man is so large he takes atleast more of the bed you two share (bro IS the bed 😭😭/j /j /j ). He'll be curled up around you while you rest in his strong grasp, his body protecting yours from the cold outside. It'll take a while for you to escape it, however. If you need to go grab something before you go back to sleep, you'll have to wake him up first, and hes a HEAVY sleeper.

When going on missions TOGETHER, you two are an unstoppable force. Tearing through anything you can see until you get to your objective. No opposing gang is safe from the smiling dead duo's grasp! Plus Ken LOVES the way you become so unhinged in the heat of the moment. Your crooked smile, bloodlustful eyes and crazed hair make you all so charming in a way Ken can't explain.

Although, such a relationship with a guy like him *does* come with its cons, especially with his mood swings. Your the one to try and make him calm down when he snaps, and for most of the time it works! Until it doesn't, and now your faced with a raging, monsterous tryant (who is also your husband) in front of you. When you two get into arguements, theres always two main factors: One, its about one/both of your kids health and safety. And two, it never goes and/or ends pretty. Lots of yelling, accusing and angry gestures all over. But don't worry, if theres anyone whos apologising first, it'll be Ken.

How he apologises is either him talking to you up-front about it, or leaving a few thoughtful gifts in places where you often walk to inside the shop. It might be on your shared bed, on the counter or maybe even in the freezer. Either way, he feels bad for yelling at you, and wants to make it up to you no matter what. How could you say no?

Overrall, hes a sweetheart. Your so lucky you married him out of all the rotlings out there in the Gaslight District. Your life has been crazy, but your glad that your darling husband will be there by your side no matter what, and the rest of your family too. <3

as for the wedding and events proceeding, i think its go well! they deserve a little break from the stuff in their life, as a treat /q. Unless something like the syndicate crashes their party (i.. dont think theyd be that evil to do that tbh, i havent really dabbled w them story wise but idk, its a wedding im sure they'd be civil for once..) or some interuniversal threat pops up that needs their immediate action (something like garnet's wedding from su). which tbh would probably inhance the expirence for timmy, hes a straight menace and thinks stuff like that is awesome </3. but anyways

in general relationship stuff timmy may be the more forward one but i think jimmy would be the one to establish the milestones, plus that hes more traditional in my characterization of him. that being said, timmy would totally unintentionally propose or joke about marrying him and jimmy would 100% take him up on that with no hesitation.

now onto wedding stuff bc damn do i have a soft spot for this kinda stuff <3<3

the flowers i chose are forget-me-nots and pink / peachy orange aster flowers with a touch of roses in those same colors as well. i implore you to look up the flower meanings i had fun w em <3

I chose the color peach/a coral (is that what that color is ??) for the wedding because its a combo of timmy's pink and jimmy's redish orange (vermillion ?). i just think combining their colors when it comes to ships is just so so CUTE <3<3<3. this is also why that jimmytimmy painting i did a while back has primarily those colors <3. it didn't fit the theme but timmy wanted them so he gets a green, hot magenta pink, and purple flowers for his suit so his only family that loves him can be there.

this is uhh kinda angst implied but it wouldn't be something i made without a bit of angst <3. timmy's biological family would not be there, his mother would probably call once she heard that he got married but timmy decided to abandon that life and those people for good, and for the better tbh. the rest of the nicktoons unite crew would be there + maybe their plus one ig, but dib instead of zim, or maybe them both (zim wants to look normal so attends these events where its expected u show up yk, and dib follows bc clearly. hehe). cindy would probably arrive and agree to being a bridesmaid to show she isnt homophobic but would probably cry and/or drink in a corner the whole time </3, losing both of her boyfriend prospects at once /j

when they toss the bouquet danny is the one who catches it.. he looks over to manny and they share a flustered look while everyone else cheers <3

only brooks has a pet unfortunately, the other shapeshifters avoid pets because of the instability in their lives – they may have to flee at any moment, and having a pet complicates that. (they may have to leave pets behind, taking care of pets while on the run is difficult, they may have to be in animal form for a while and it's harder to take care of their pets then, etc.)

as for now, mc is unable to have a pet because of the circumstances stated above. in the past though, mc (spoiler alert) had a family pet, but you'd have to leave them behind when you went to live with your aunt. maybe in the future though!

if MC just took in a feral-looking stray animal off the street and came home with it, (assuming you and the RO share an apartment)

Victoria would probably rush over and start cooing at it. "Aww, who's this?" She'd reach out to pet the animal's head, and assuming the animal is okay with that, she'd gush over it. You'd probably have to be the more responsible one and take care of the vet appointments and animal registrations, but Victoria would absolutely buy all the food, treats and toys the animal could ever want.

Blaine would be shocked. She'd/ He'd rush over and check you over, lifting the animal up and away from your arms. "Did it bite you?" When you shook your head no, she'd/ he'd still insist on going to the vet because rabies is a very serious matter – seemingly dormant animals can have it too at the early stages. After all the vet visits and confirmations however, if you wish to keep it, Blaine wouldn't be necessarily against it. (She'd/ He'd end up loving the animal and bonding with it like a parent with the pet they didn't want, but shhh i didn't tell you that)

Elexis would be distracted as first, probably busy with his art but once you draw closer and he turns around to see the animal, he'd start. "Is that...?" His voice would trail off, eyes flitting between the animal and you. "Where'd they came from?" He'd take a while to warm up to the animal of course, having zero experiences with animals before, but once he does, you'd often spot him just cuddling with it.

Seraph wouldn't really know how to respond, just cautiously eyeing the animal. "Where'd you get it from?" They wince as you pass the animal over into their arms enthusiastically, and you almost laugh at the way they gingerly hold the animal, as if they'd shatter into pieces otherwise. Once you adopt the animal however, Seraph would buy them everything they'd ever need, even if their careful behaviour doesn't subside for the next few weeks.

Brooks would probably eye the animal (sigh does this man ever learn /j) even as Snowy jumps and barks at your legs. "Did you just pick them up from the streets?" He'd gently take the animal into his arms, fragilely cradling it. He has some dog food in the house, so he'd probably offer that to the animal, alongside water, before turning to you and asking what you want to do with it. If you want to keep it, he'd be hesitant at first, but between you and Snowy's enthusiastic welcome to the animal, he'd give in and the next thing you know, there's an extra pet bed in the bedroom.

A: Affection (how does he show affection/is he good at it)

He mainly shows it through physical touch or little acts of service. He's not very vocal about his love, he much rather show it. He loves to hold your hand or have an arm around you at all times.

B: Beauty (what does he think makes his s/o beautiful)

While physical looks are a huge part of his attraction towards you, he really loves your personality. He loves the little quirks about you, little things that only come out later on in your relationship. It's almost like he's the only person who knows about those things, and it makes him feel so special.

C: Comfort (how he comforts his s/o after a rough day)

He'd take you out for a drive. He'd let you pick the music to blast from the speakers in the car and let you roll the windows down. He loves to hear you scream the lyrics to your favorite songs and if he knows the song, he'd sing a long, too :)

D: Dreams (what does his dream future with his s/o look like)

He wants a home and kids, but he's terrified he'd become just like his father. He knows if he pursues the family life with you, you would never let him become like his dad, but it's still a fear he'll always have.

It's Billy, even ooc, he's the dominant one. He doesn't see himself as superior to you in anyway, he just knows what he wants and he's gonna get it, y'know? Your happy to let him take the wheel in the relationship, but you both know that you'd take it back if needed.

F: Fight (how would a typical fight go and how easily would he forgive his s/o)

At the beginning of your relationship, Billy would pick fights over stupid things. You fought back, putting him in his place of course, until the fighting became too much and you sat down with him to talk things out. After that, the fights nearly stop, only happening over serious things.

G: Gratitude (is he grateful for all his s/o does/has done for him)

He's so grateful for you. You helped him cope with the abuse he'd gone through, you were patient with him as he unlearned toxic habits he had because of his dad, you were an angel to him and he will always be grateful for you.

H: Honest (how honest is he to his s/o)

He's pretty honest with you. He only hid and lied about things to you at the start of your relationship, but once his walls come down, he doesn't have anything to hide. He mainly stopped hiding and lying to you because he never wanted to lose you over it.

I: Inspiration (did his s/o inspired him to become a better person)

Yes, 100%. Like before, you helped him cope with the abuse he had gone through. You helped him work on himself to become a better person, a person he would've never become without you.

J: Jealousy (does he get jealous)

Yes, yes, yes. Did I mention yes? He's so scared of losing you that if another guy tries to make a move on you, Billy is by your side in a second to scare the guy away. He knows you wouldn't leave him, but he can never too safe.

K: Kiss (where does he kiss his s/o, where does his s/o kiss him)

He loves to kiss you anywhere, but especially on your lips. While he's kiss other girls on the lips, you were different. This summer would be different. That's what you told yourself. You were going to Cousins, like you did every summer. you would hang out with the Fishers and Conklins, your best friend Jeremiah as always. But this summer you wouldn't pine over Jeremiah, as always.

Your family owned a house down the street from the Fisher's. You basically lived at their summer house, Susannah was like a second mother to you, and Conrad an older brother, and Jeremiah is well complicated. Belly was the only one who knew about your crush on Jere. Crush was an understatement, you were are madly in love with Jeremiah Fisher. Madly deeply in love.

Maybe you'd get a boyfriend, a new crush?

You had no idea what was in store for this summer, but as you breathed in the salty air of Cousins, you could just feel something different was gonna happen.

You pulled up to the Fisher's, honked twice to let them know you had arrived. Although your family had a house down the street your parents were traveling to Europe or something this summer. So you were staying with the Fishers and Conklins. That is the other thing that was changing this summer, you would be sleeping in the room next to Jeremiah's. All. Summer. Long.

You were about to respond when Jeremiah spoke up. "Y/n/n no way you're gonna do the deb ball scene." Jere clapped Stevens shoulder laughing. "You in a white dress?" What was with Jeremiah? You asked yourself.

"You know what Susannah, sounds super fun, I'm in" You directed your response at Susannah but held eye contact with Jeremiah.

"Ahh! This is so exciting!"

"I'll do it too Susannah" Belly said, speaking up again.

Laurel sighed but Susannah's smile lit up the whole room. Her eyes too, like it was Christmas morning. "I'll take the two of you shopping tomorrow! Laur you have to come too" and just like that it was decided that four of you would go shopping tomorrow.

The next day the four of you went downtown Cousins. Shopping for sun dresses and fascinators and a white dress of course. You were in a wedding dress shop, doing a 360° turn for Susannah and Laurel in a off the shoulder puffy dress.

You looked at Belly as she walked out of the dressing room across from you. Getting up next to you, also doing a 360°. And in unison the two of you sighed, "So?"

Susannah looks at you first, "Mm. No."

Laurel looked at Belly and without saying a word, grabbed the simple white dress that you had noticed Belly staring at the entire time you had been there. "What about this one?" Susannah went to argue with Laur, but you cut her off. "It is so Belly, Laur."

Bly's whole face lit up. She eagerly grabbed the dress and went into her changing room.

"Susannah" you sighed, "I've tried on like, twenty dresses," you complained.

"We just have to find the right one, don't give up." She responded. And because it was Susannah you listened.

When you came back out of the dressing room you saw Laurel and Susannah ogling over Bellying her new dress. You walked up to the rows of dress. Flipping through them until one dress caught your eye. It had a sweetheart neckline with little silver jewels lining the top of the hoop skirt. It was gorgeous. You quickly grabbed your size and rushed off to the dressing room

You snapped a quick mirror selfie to send to Jere. Then exited the room practically glowing and spinning around. Susannah gasped and clasped her hands together. "Oh y/n it's gorgeous" Laurel said actually gushing.

"I need to get a picture of you in that" Susannah said, grabbing her phone. Tears forming in her eyes?

"It is perfect" Belly said turning to you.

HSHQ'S TIMELINE !

which of these mains do you guys remember ? highsocietyhq or haisocietyhq or vikrp or chambordrp... hshq has had many forms over the years !

chambordrp was originally created by admin m sometime around 2014 ? 2015 ? admin j joined the admin team and for a while the group set at chateau chambord, france was just one group among many #royal rp or #rich kids rp groups. chambordrp had to be closed due to low activity but pretty soon admin m opened it again and some of the oldest members rejoined. chambordrp was revamped into vikrp in 2016 ( ? ).

vikrp set in iceland lasted for 6ish months maybe before closing... and then reopening again. i don't remember properly. around this time i ( admin e ) was part of the admin team and admin evy joined the team a bit before vikrp was revamped into haisocietyhq. admin m had gone awol at this time.

haisocietyhq set in shangHAI was when things started to shift from petty drama to something a bit bigger. i think in shanghai we added monarchs ? or maybe that was already in vik, but anyways, in shanghai people actually applied for monarchs. i think dukes and duchesses were a new addition.

then we wanted to move from shanghai to 'a greek island'. but we had a problem: the constant url change was a problem. we couldn't change the url every time we moved, that would cause confusion in the tags. 'highsocietyhq' was already taken by a closed group. what a shame ! but then i figured i'd lose nothing by sending an im to the url's owner and hallelujah ! the owner actually saw the im and was kind enough to give the url to us !!!!! that was amazing. and random. so that's the story behind our url. in shanghai we had our first plot drop/event hybrid when there was an earthquake and i think the hotel suffered some damages.

the greek island plotline was pretty chill until it wasn't. the invasion was pretty wild and i was in summer 2018. when i think back on it, i think it's one our most successful events in terms of character development and engagement. people wrote a lot and it was insanely interactive.

oslo follower the greek island. i have to admit i don't remember much from the oslo period. the plotdrops that i wrote back then were surprisingly frequent though and it was cool that people were really into developing the major plotlines !

dubai followed oslo shortly after nye if i remember correctly. i don't remember the excuse for the move. it wasn't anything major. dubai was fun and different. the big city vibe was fun.

dubai lasted for 8 months and then, in september of 2019, came phuket ! phuket was a lot chiller. i remember us planning all sorts of shocking plot twists. one was a flood and a complete power failure. that never happened. one idea was having them get stranded on a cruise ship.

mar del plata still feels like a fever dream. we moved to mar del plata in august 2020. i swear i always forget we were there. the only thing i remember from this era is the hike/earthquake event. we wanted drama and since we had failed to deliver the flood/power failure/dramatic pd this was really needed !

in april 2021 came tokyo ! i personally enjoyed big city backdrops a lot more so i liked tokyo a lot. i also remember being very pleased with the grapics if i may say so myself. tokyo lasted for a long time and rae won the points game that allowed her to pick like 5 possible locations for a future location change.

i don't remember them all but on the list were regina and casablanca. and we planned to make the regina era really brief and it was supposed to be a quirky comedic era. but you know us ! we don't know how to keep up with a schedule lmao. i think the regina sidequest lasted from spring of '22 and ended in august '22 when we moved to spain for that long event.

the spain was supposed to be a month long thing that would end in an invasion. but the dash was fairly quiet, the admin team was busy af and it just wouldn't happen. the invasion, as you all probably remember, came a year late lmaoooo

we really hoped that the invasion would have been something akin to the one in 2019 but you know, times had changed, people didn't have 8 hours to spend on the computer. the invasion was still a fun extreme event and i'm so glad it succeeded as well as it did because there was room for failure.

after the invasion we finally made it to casablanca where we had planned to end up almost 1,5 years prior lmaoo

and now it's been almost 10 years of a silly little royals group and 8 years of hshq. i genuinely think it's so damn remarkable how far we've come especially considering how the average lifespan of an rp group is like some months. admining this group has been such a privilege !!! thank you !!!

Maybe 4-ish months into working bank in liyue, reader is vibing- but orders come from Pantalone,, a handful of fatui are expected to dig up dirt on a Liyuean man's business and report back to Pantalone. It's CEO boss would be meeting Pantaloone soon. Small group project. No biggie. Loverboy isn't stupid. The fatui didnt make it to where they are WITHOUT underhanded ethics.

So he goes. Back to snezhnaya in his group with trade secrets in tow. The meeting goes terribly. bullets and blades fly. So does loverboy and pantalone out a window. A hydro vision is granted. Pantalone does the kill FOR reader. You know how it goes-

Im thinking that this mission with loverboy's first blood can be the follow up Part 2 of that. Pantalone gets to: 1. tie up loose ends with any witnesses that got away. Can't have the scandal of a failed endeavor run thorugh the streets. 2. take his relatively naive subordinate for a spin. He simply Had to see what made Celestia grant their authority unto loverboy. And not him

Afterwards when all is said and done, man killed and Loverboy dismissed back to liyue to finish his final year of duty,, pantalone can rest a little easy knowing reader is on the right track for now,, afterall, there's only so much he can do as a High ranked fatui Officiant. He has his own goals to conquer for now,, maybe he'll get back to his loverboy pet project After becoming a Harbinger.

Good things come to those who wait. It's a matter of how long. I think pantalone can already guess that reader would quit the fatui business after his mandated 3 years. Thats fine with him tho. He know's Loverboy would come right back.

technically she's a computer virus so she can't go through the mansion's antivirus scan even with a disguise and the addisons can't bring the body to her cause its fucking huge man. so susie has to disable it and help her get her body. the NNS QUINN fight happens in the mega metropolis they're trying to build in the basement. she fucking smashes everything

after being defeated she gives out two cool items. the KittenRibbon (just one of her ribbons, if spared) or the TatteredWings (pieces of her dress. if KILLED!!!!!!!)

Kageyama Tobio!! - As someone else said when I had to look for other headcanons to get ideas... Best friends to lovers, exactly that - Kageyama would need to know someone to fall in love. It wouldn't be that easy for him. - But he's SUCH a dumbass with emotions, motherfucker doesn't even notice. He thinks it's another level of friendship... Favorite K-Pop Releases of 2022 (So Far)

We're already at basically the second half of the year, so I wanted to talk about some K-Pop albums/EPs that I really enjoyed, and some that I enjoyed slightly less.

NOTE: I didn't limit this list entirely to artists I stan, and this is fairly short since it's hard to remember all the kpop releases for this year that I've listened to. I'm mainly posting this so that I can remember by the time the second half of the year is over lol. I'm also not a music critic, so I'm a bit limited in my descriptions here.

Love Dive (IVE)

I absolutely loved this release. Something about the title track reminds me of something that would play in a teen drama, like a big party or club scene. The elevated aesthetic of the music video speaks for itself I think. They made this specifically for me ❤️

Flip That (Loona)

I was worried we were gonna get Paint The Town pt. 2 after Queendom ended, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that Loona is returning to that more dreamy, atmospheric sound that got me into them in the first place.

Fl!p That is insanely catchy, but my favorite tracks were Need U and Playback. I love ballads I'm sorry 😭

Playback in particular did it for me because of the melody and the way it sorta...dips into a minor key before going back to major? Like it was rocking back and forth (I hope that makes sense god). The instrumental of course feels very vast and just washes over you. I hope they continue down this route.

Jack in the Box (J-Hope of BTS

I was a little worried that I wouldn't like this mixtape because it felt so different from Hopeworld, and I honestly felt underwhelmed by 'More'. But this definitely tops Hopeworld for me.

The songs flow seamlessly into each other, and you can hear the 90s hip hop influences throughout. Turns out I actually like 'More', it just made way more sense within the larger context of the album. My favorite track is currently 'Stop'!

We Need Love (StayC)

I watched the video where StayC and their producers discuss what this album would sound like, and you can tell that they were more focused on putting out good music than marketability this time around.

The title track 'Beautiful Monster' is considerably toned down compared to their more energetic ones in the past, but it still has that bright 'StayC' feeling, albeit with an undercurrent of sadness to it to match the lyrics. My favorite song off of this album was definitely 'Love'. It's in a lower key and has cool synths in the chorus, so I'm a bit biased lol. StayC's vocals also noticeably improve with every comeback, so I really enjoyed this one.

1. Minisode 2: Thursday's Child (TXT)

I think the visual concepts for this mini-album were way more interesting than the music for me. Even though it is exciting that TXT are diving into much darker (and more realistic) themes, this one just didn't go all the way for me.

Though the songs were by no means bad, I personally found some of them to be too repetitive for my taste, including the title track. I did still enjoy GBGB because of the strong guitar, and Yeonjun's verse! Trust Fund Baby is also a really pretty track, and I look forward to more pop ballads in the future 💞

Proof (BTS)

The only reason why I didn't put this album on the list is because it's an anthology album with only 3 new songs. But! I really really think the new songs (particularly 'Run BTS') showcase how their music has become a more evolved version of the sounds they've explored previously. I'm so glad the boys are able to take a break and im excited for when the next chapter arrives.

Copycat (Chobom of Apink)

Again, I'm only putting this here because it's only 2 songs 😭 but Copycat is definitely a summer hit. I love me a twin concept!
