Chore days with Steve are maybe your favorite days. The small apartment you're renting takes quite a bit of elbow grease to keep clean, so you tend to split up the responsibilities and tackle it all at once. Today Steve is cleaning the floors and on kitchen duty while you're handling the bathroom, dusting, and the laundry.

You've hardly seen him -- most of the morning has been you yelling back and forth from different rooms when you sneeze and he says bless you, and singing along to the radio. Every time you pass each other in the hallway Steve pauses to kiss you quick and hard, delighted as if he had no idea you'd be there.

"What're you doing here looking so pretty?" he says. "Unbelievable." In short, your chore days are full of laughter and love. After the bathroom has been scrubbed and the kitchen has been wiped and there's no more dust and Stave has swept and mopped and you've helped him vacuum you find yourself on the floor of your small living room with the basket of fresh, unfolded laundry, just waiting for him.

Okay, this is actually your favorite part: folding the laundry together. Even when Steve does the wash when you're at work or you do it in the middle of the week you both save the folding until you're together. Even if it causes some wrinkles, but who cares -- you just love to sit on the floor and talk while you do it.

"Are you waiting for me?" Steve says, folding the chord of the vacuum and shoving it into the small hall closet.

"'Course I am. But no rush."

"I've been looking forward to this all day, baby. Nothing hotter than pairing up your socks." He grins at you as he fights with the door, giving it a shove that's a little harder than necessary in his need to be on the floor with you.

"Yeah, since you just end up stealing so many of them!" He winks at you and you laugh.

"Shit, I'm so hungry." He plops down on the other side of the basket, the pile of clothes between you as he reaches for a shirt of yours and starts folding. "Cleaning is hard work."

"You say that every time we have chore day, Steve." He smirks and starts to tell you about something Robin did at work this week. Obviously talking to him is great, but you love this routine because you get to just look at him for most of it. Steve looks divine, as always, tired but happy, glowing in the afternoon light of your home. Your chest is a mess of fondness and warmth, your happiness so strong you think it must be shining out of you like sunbeams. Your fingers brush every once in a while and your cheeks heat like it's the first time. Steve wiggles his eyebrows at you whenever he finds a pair of your underwear or a bra, but he folds them tenderly the way you like even as you roll your eyes at him.

It's just laundry, but it's peaceful, it's soft, and it's your life. You're folding clothes that belong to the boy you love in the home you have together. Sometimes it feels like a dream.

"I was serious about being hungry. What do you want for dinner?" Steve asks when you reach the bottom of the basket.

"Well, I don't want us to ruin the spotless kitchen you worked so hard on." You finish off the last pair of socks -- Steve's, with cats on them.

"We could go for a drive and get some burgers. And maybe milkshakes?" He stands and stretches, the soft skin of his stomach and the dark trail of hair exposed. You don't even pretend you aren't staring. He catches you and looks down at himself. "We should probably change first."

He's in mismatched socks and boxers and a t-shirt that's been shrunk and is a little too short for him. You love him so much.

"No, I like you like that."

"Oh, you do, do you? Like me with my belly button out? I see how it is."

"I mean, I look like I got dressed in the dark." Steve reaches down to pull you up, spreading your arms over the laundry basket to look at your outfit. You're in pj pants and a t-shirt that was clearly a gas station buy -- you think Robin bought it and Steve stole it -- and no socks at all. He's looking at you like you're magic.

"Don't even get me started on how you look," he says, his voice deep and gravelly, bright eyes trailing over you. You never feel more beautiful, more wanted, more loved, than when Steve is looking at you.

"Well, good thing we have all these clean clothes," you say, pulling your hands from his to grab a pair of jeans from one of the piles for him. "Put these on. They make your ass look good. Keep the shirt, though." He flushes, flicking his hair back as he takes the Levi's from you.

"My ass always looks good!" He's pouting and you want to kiss him. You just laugh, even though he's right. He snags a pair of jean shorts for you and hands them over before he pulls on his own pants. You shed your bottoms right there in the living room and tug on the clean ones. You can feel his eyes on you the entire time, a gaze you're used to and crave even though as makes you shiver.

"Eyes to yourself, Harrington," you say sternly. "I want a burger and you will not get in my way."

"You sure about that?" He steps around the empty basket and over the piles of folded clothes to slide his palms into your back pockets. "Standing there in a shirt that's probably mine --"

"I think it's Robin's actually, Steve," you interrupt.

"--and taking your pants off in front of me?" he continues over you. "It's like you're trying to seduce me. In my own home!"

"Well, is it working?"

"It's always working, baby." You slide your hands onto his exposed midriff and feel his warm skin, the edges of the scars he no longer hides. Steve leans in to kiss you and you're smiling so wide, unable to contain the happiness. It feels impossible that you're going to spend the rest of your life this happy.

"Food, Steve!" you say against his mouth. He pulls away, a thumb coming to brush against your lower lip.

"Yeah, yeah. There are like, a million dirty things I could say right now, you know?"

"I'm sure there are, baby," you say, patting his cheek. "C'mon." You extract yourself from his hold to put your shoes on, leaving the laundry to be put away for when you're back.

"Hey," Steve says, grabbing his keys and sliding into his sneakers. He just looks at you for a second, face soft and his lips quirked into a small smile. "I love you."

"Hey," you say. "I love you back."

a question! what is the best artistic works you have done ,in your opinion?

Ooo interesting question! I think 2023 had been a good year for me when it comes to art. Slower than usual but in a steady and happy pace

ArtFight was fun this year! I like to draw multiple characters in one place and I got to do it with two Splatoon attacks (First beans are from @msmoon-and-the-cyberdemon and the second ones from @d0llyrat)

I drew the Fanverse anniversary, that one was fun!! I love the end result and makes me happy how many people liked it too! Feels nice

(I actually have a Halloween CPU illustration ready since September, I think it looks amazing in my opinion. I'll post it soon, probably on the 30th)

Speaking of halloween- I love Tails doll and I love that I got to do 2 patreon exclusive illustrations with her. Sadly I can't show them here because they are not public, but I think they look pretty nice. The 2022 one has a lot of perspective angles and 2023 is the shadows and textures

I discover I can do (?) this "experimental" type of illustration that remind me a lot of how I used to fill sketchbooks in every space I had and color it no matter if the drawings clashed with each other. I've done 3 of this so far, the Springtrap one and two patreon exclusives (splatoon and animal crossing)... I like the Splatoon one a lot, is still not public but DAMN I hope it ages well

Ohh and crab island... that thing was in wip hell for a WHOLE YEAR due drama and low motivation to draw the AR, but im happy I got to finish it before hitting the hiatus

Recently I updated my carrd and added a Portfolio section where I show some illustrations I really like, Im trying to update it with new art every 2 months with newer art!!!

Im trying to keep the art as recent as possible on purpose jkalshdkjsadsa I have favorite pieces Ive done that are WAAAAY old that didnt age well, but I like them over nostalgia or bc im sentimental

Gahhh the way you draw Zoro and Luffy, and your flexibility to go as bombastic as making them look more realistic than oda-sensei's art (your colouring is amazing!) but your comics is also stylized and borrow some of oda-sensei's style. Thank you so much! Welcome to OP, and I'm glad you like them! I just got back to OP recently as well! Honestly I will share to you, drawing Zoro actually felt so familiar and natural because my number 1 hasubando and obsession, Nero, has similar features as him especially when i draw them, which i found amusing because their hair, their eyes shape, almost look alike!

Also indeed! when learning to draw characters, i like to start drawing them in their og style to have a feel and note their most defining features. It helps me translating it into my own style!

Also for a little personal enjoyment, making fake pages in the future of a ZoLu story in odacchi's manga style. A personal guilty pleasure to see them in a 'what if they're canon? ' ehehehehe. Perhaps I will share it in the future! If i finish one! (lol)

Right now, 51! I think i started using ao3 back in college with rvb fic lol. I've since orphaned 2 fics so I guess there wouldve been 53.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Right now, mostly just Twisted Wonderland (and the occasional dndads, I still have a fic in my brain I kinda wanna write for that). Twst was kinda my comeback to wanting to write fics and has been my main inspiration for a lot of things and it's been the most fun i've had writing fics I think, and it's eventually what's gotten me to try to write my first multi chapter fic.

hmmm I do not write much angst, and even when I do it's more hurt/comfort, bc permasads make ME permasad. I think it was my rvb fic "forgotten" - which i always forget was my first fic uploaded to ao3 LOL, back in 2015. ironic that my first wasnt reflective of the tone i usually write for. i don't wanna reread it to check [even tho my fics from back then are WAY shorter] bc im scared to face how i wrote when i was fresh outta hs lol BUT if i remember correctly/based on the summary, it was a doc/donut fic and I think it was about how after doc had disappeared from the future cube or whatever in canon and no one knew he was gone, i wrote a scene of doc getting upset with donut bc Of All People Why Didnt You Notice I Thought I Meant Something To You 😔 kdlsjfkdlsj i think it ended with doc walking off and donut being SAD and idk maybe they broke up, idr if they were 'officially dating' in the context of that fic. but um hashtag docnut for life.

most all of my fics are happy endings with an exception of like one ^ or two lol. I don't know if i can quantify those!

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

oooh ok well there was a dndads oakworthy thing I started like last year but pretty soon after I started it, we started seeing more of hermies forbidden other 'true' personality traits and i was like ruh roh this guy keeps pulling a fast one on me, i dont think the direction i had with this fic is fitting anymore. i had barely gotten anywhere with it and it wouldve been short anyway, but i think about what couldve been.... lololol and then for TWST umm. Hehe. Teehee even. Back during nanowrimo I used that as time to start 2 fics: kalim and the great relationship rescue, which is my current multichap fic about kalisil and jamiazu, it’s got about 3 chapters, and I’m still writing it. AND IM STILL GOING TO FINISH THAT ONE!!! but the OTHER one I started during that time and have NOT posted any of it yet was the stuff with my first twst oc, Char, and his place in my big caterella multiverse ideas lol. I’ve posted a bit about that story idea and done a lot of doodles and brianstorming for it, but I fear it would be too intimidatingly ambitious to stick to and I’m not sure writing one concrete fic is the right medium for it 🤔 plus I just don’t think many people would like it much LOL it would be very self indulgent and tapping into my soap opera brain. I feel nervous when I talk about it HAHDBFNTG so I’m not sure I could commit. But I still have what I wrote, and maybe I’ll figure out another way to go with it or maybe I’ll just wake up one day and say WHATEVER and write it anyway lol. I’ve gotten shyer again so we’ll see 🧍

16. What are your writing strengths?

umm. i do not know if it is a strength but i feel more light comedy and dialogue come more 'naturally' to me, but i do not know how well i actually can pull it off LOL also shorter, contained stories. Everything I write is a one shot, and I’m struggling on my recent attempt at a multiple chapter fic BDBFFBFNGD

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

hrhrnrngm more descriptive writing, i find im in the pitfalls of writing TOO MUCH dialogue. and i also feel like when i try to do more serious tone things it comes off as cringe or trying too hard kFDKLSHFLDSJ. no one's said that to me but yknow. fear and whatnot. also ending the story is. Hard. I feel like that’s always a weak part of my fics bc I sit there like WELL I WROTE ALL MY IDEAS HOW DO I WRAP THIS UP…. I worry my endings come off kind of half assed but I do my best lol 😔✌️

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

like are you asking if i would do it? or how i feel when it's done in fics i read? i dunno lol. i could maybe do spanish bc ive studied it a lot but i'd get nervous i think.

on ao3 it was rvb bu teeeechnically back in my neoseeker forums days i was in there writing like, animal crossing or harvest moon or pokemon stuff. it was very bad bc i was like 10 years old LOL

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

ohoho ummmm. Well I always have fun writing jamiazu and I’ve written a LOT of those lol. I have a soft spot for The Comfort of Familiarity. That’s one of the ones hats taken me the longest to write because I was really trying hard to handle it with care, as it was a less light tone than I typically do and I was trying to explore the characters and their situation in a particular way that I really wanted to come across well with who reads it. It was hard, and I’m not sure I fully got there, but ultimately I did like it quite a a bit. on the flipside, one of my more recent fics and I think now my longest oneshot to date, Blue Raspberry Mango was VERY fun to write lol. That one’s a lot more like what I typically write, silly romcom style lmao. Cater and Idia goofing, characters bickering, friendship, me trying to sneak in as many side ships into the background for funsies, jamiazu is there, it was a good time. And that one started as a prompt suggestion which I feel like often times I end up struggling with and not delivering super well… but this one ran away from me and I had a blast lol. Idikei fixed me 😌✌️

I've written some angsty shit, but i think my fic Someone Loved Me But Not Today. It's an open ended fic where Alex and Henry are exes who reconnect at the funeral of Henry's twin brother George.

All my fics bar the above have a happy(ish) ending.

But probably Henry Fox is Alive because it's so healing to both Alex and Henry.

Hate is a strong word. I've had some slightly nasty comments about characterisation that hurt my feelings lol, but nothing that is intentionally nasty to me or about my writing. Just choices I've made. But it's whatevs innit.

no crossovers as of yet. I can imagine writting 911/911ls crossovers if that even counts. Maybe alex and henry can get into an accident in either austin or LA and have my fire boys and gyals come rescue them

I was just saying that I've somehow gotten into this habit of thinking every fic I write has to be a minimum of 8k, even though my next fic that will go live will prob be 5kish (...and then something that will prob be around 12k).

And honestly? Fair. I sobbed a lot writing it.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Basically, 90% of my stuff? My habit tends to be super happy/fluffy stuff and then 10% of my stuff is meant to be angst that will destroy you (...there's a Zukka coming up that will reinforce that pattern)

8. Do you get hate on fics? I started to get a lot of it on Roswell fics for some really unfortunate reasons, and it actually pushed me to make my RNM fics AO3 users only :/

9. Do you write smut? Rarely these days, but only because the story doesn't feel like it needs it. I'll still write smut scenes if it feels right, but I've been living in more rom-com territory lately.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you have written? I don't do it as often, but I've done a couple! I did a Leverage x Hustle one, a Star Trek x Dead Like Me, and two whole stories for House MD x Doctor Who. I do it less often these days, but more because the ideas aren't there.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of? So, maybe? I haven't seen it though!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? I've been super lucky to have a bunch of my fics translated!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? YES, and it's my FAVE THING, okay. Cowriters, come at me, I love it. I want more of it.

14. What's your all time favorite ship? My preferences are fleeting like the wind and my faves come and go and then resolidify, but I will say, lately it's starting to seem like Pynch might be the steadiest 'ship I've had in a while.

15. What is a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? ...at this point, the Joe/Nicky Outlander Time Traveller's Old Guard, if only because it's a beast of a thing.

16. What are your writing strengths? I really like threading in the little bits of canon and getting as close to the voice and tone as possible. I'd say I've been most successful in some of my Ted Lasso stuff, but I like to be a mimic.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Prose. I'm not great at setting the scene and often my world-building is more characters and relationships than settings or scenarios. I've kind of let that atrophy over the years too.

18. Thoughts of writing dialogue in another language in fics? I used to do this a lot, if only because I speak enough French & Italian to get by, but in recent years, I've started just writing the phrase in English, italicizing, and indicating in the narrative that they're speaking another language, if only to get away from the footnotes or hovering.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Charmed, I think? Piper/Leo was def baby's first OTP.

20. Favorite fic you have written? I usually say Love Like The Sea (my Webgott), but today I'm going with Baby, I'm Howling For You, my Steve/Danny supernatural fic (and series) because it has the best worldbuilding I think I've ever done and I really enjoy the rules I set around that 'verse.

miss twenty something - i wrote this a long time ago, but i reread it every so often, and it usually holds up for me. i’d make some minorish changes if i wrote it now, but i’ve never wanted to actually do that to the fic bc so many lovely people tell me they reread it, and im worried they might notice… but yeah. i put a lot of thought into this fic, especially into the dynamic between jason and Bruce & Jason and dick. in many ways, it’s the most personal fic i have ever written. jason Todd forever baby

in the wake of a hurricane, dark skin of a summer shade - i should’ve written a lot more iwaoi than this when i had the brain worms for them, but this unfortunately coincided w my first year of l*w sch**l, so it was Not meant to be.. but i have a fondness for the dynamic the specific way it’s depicted here. Cliched as hell but i love pining between best friends who know each other better than anyone. It makes my chest tight!

nobody gets me - i actually wrote this in 2020 but only posted this past year bc i saw it in Google drive and was like weird that I never posted this! i wrote some fics about aokise being in love, but this is a break up fic. there’s a LOT i would change about this whole series if i revisited it now, but there are some good moments and details in this installment specifically. the bones are good. and a messy breakup is the truest and realest thing i could envision for this dynamic. And i love these characters SO much

no one knows anything but us - the only zukka fic i ever managed to finish, ANOTHER TRAVESTY. i have a wip graveyard and it’s embarrassing! but - i think the characterizations really hold up, and honestly, i kind of question whether i can ever write like this again. like this was just pure, undistilled happiness, and literally EVERYTHING i have written the past 3ish years is like slightly or completed melancholic. so yeah i miss this era of my writing, and i love zukka!!!!

love overgrown - the most recent fic i’ve posted, and super short! but i love love love writing talia Al ghul, spitefully bc the Men of dc do it so badly, and earnestly bc she is such an amazing character in my head and sometimes in canon WBDKSNSNSN.. there isn’t yet anything I would change about this fic, but I did in fact post it this month LMAO! ask me again in a year and I’m sure the answer will change. but im proud of lots of the lines still so.. 🕺🏻

I don't do angsty endings. Or, well, I do at the end of a work but usually those have sequels with happier endings. The worst I'm gonna do is bittersweet. But if we allow angsty endings with sequels that have happy endings, The Way of the Sword (A:tLA) will fit best!

What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

All of them tbh!!! Or so many of them. I will say Coffee and Chamomile (MCU, Parkner) though because the overall vibe is also very fluffy.

Do you get hate on fics?

I haven't yet!

Do you write smut?

I do! Mostly as an exploration of my own sexuality since I did struggle to accept my cupiosexuality for years. There's It Turns Out Asexuals CAN Want Sex (MCU, Parkner), and the rewrite of The Scientific Method will get a smut one-shot. I might also write some for Glowing in the Dark (MCU, Parkner) tbh.

I had ideas but nope! Idk, it's difficult for me to write for me in more than one fandom at a time, and this just ties into it.

Tbh that changes depending on the fandom im in currently! It's Harley Keener/Peter Parker aka Parkner (MCU).

I think writing emotions!!! I'm just projecting my own experiences and trauma and I think that gives them a lot of depth and makes them pretty realistic!

I can't keep anything short. I just ramble on and on and on and on and on and—

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I italicize and use a tooltip workskin so that if you hover over it you can see the translation! (or click on it, if you're using mobile)

For sign language, I haven't figured that one out. I probably won't use ASL grammar bc I simply do not know ASL (tho I do aspire to learn sign language from the country I live) and also bc I heard that can make it harder to read. I might put in italics, might not, idk. I'll see when I'll have to use it!

First fandom you wrote for?

Prinzessin Lillifee (a German book series/magazine about a fairy, often featuring her unicorn and animal friends. I used to spend so much money on the magazines and I'm pretty sure I had an audiobook! Prinzessin Lillifee fanfic was actually what got me into writing, and ironically I wrote one-shots for it.

That is so difficult to answer. Probably A Spider on the Web and It Turns Out Asexuals CAN Want Sex. And Glowing in the Dark (MCU, Parkner).

Idk if you’ve answered this but I’ve stumbled upon your tumblr and I just realised your the one who wrote el amor del inframundo and I have to say it’s easily one of the best fics I’ve ever read. I’ve never been into au’s and I wasn’t into Charlos that much either until I read it and it just changed my whole perspective on them. I love that fic so much I have it open as a tab on safari, refreshing it every now and then in hopes that it gets updated (that’s how much I love it!!!) I guess my question is if you have plans on continuing it and if not could you possibly tell us a short little summery of what happens between them, I just desperately want to know what their first kiss is like🥺 (also I regularly think about the scene where they’re both high, god that was such a good scene)

i have no idea how the story is going to go exactly, and im in a mini-block with my wips, but, i can share a scene from the next chapter :) as soon as the muses and brain allow, i'll work on it, bcs i have a story to tell here and i personally think it's a good one. So, excerpt from ch2 of el amor del inframundo under the cut, in which chess is a metaphor for many things :)

"Oh God, you're not playing chess with him, are you?" Mattia asked, chuckling and patting Carlos on the shoulder.

They were waiting for dinner to be served at the house of an associate, and Charles and Carlos were amusing themselves before they had to go and pretend they weren't bored out of their mind. They found a chess set in a room and were currently playing their third, winner-deciding game.

"I do," Carlos said, observing the board.

"You like to suffer, my friend," Mattia said, not moving away. "Charles likes to play, but he is not very good at it."

Carlos paused in the middle of reaching for his rook, and Charles bit back a smile. He’d seen Mattia when he caught sight of the two of them playing, and he felt a sliver of satisfaction at accurately predicting that he wouldn’t be able to stay away, eager to brag, as he always was.

"Ah, Mattia, don't deprive me of the only opponent who will still play with me," Charles said good-naturedly. Carlos raised his eyes to Charles, whose wide smile didn't show any dimples.

"Oh? You played with him?" Carlos asked, his voice even despite the turmoil behind his eyes.

"Yes," Mattia said, condescension clear in his voice. "He makes rash moves, otherwise he wouldn't lose so quickly. Probably would still lose as often."

"He loses to you," Carlos said more than asked. Charles wanted to kiss him for it, or suck his dick, anything really, to show him how fucking arousing he found Carlos' intelligence.

"Yes. Maybe you should play with me, or Antonio, and have a real challenge," Mattia said. Charles just kept smiling, and Mattia shook his head, then walked away.

Carlos played his move in silence, observing Charles.

"You played with Mattia?"

"Yes," Charles said, moving his queen. "And Antonio, and probably everyone in, ah, management."

"And you lost?"

"Yes," Charles said, tapping one of Carlos' white pawns he ate before on the table. "To all of them."

Carlos moved his pawn. Charles countered with his knight. Carlos narrowed his eyes. He reached for his queen, then reconsidered and moved his rook.

Charles grinned, and ate Carlos' rook with his queen.

"Check-mate," he said, grin wide and unrepentant, because he knew Carlos wouldn't have been able to see the trap Charles had set up for him before it was too late.

Carlos pushed the white king in front of him down just as Mattia passed them again, Giovinazzi on his heels. Just like a good dog should, Charles thought unkindly.

"I guess you're an even worse player than Charles, Carlos, if you're losing to him," he said, and both he and Giovinazzi laughed. Charles kept a good-natured smile on his face, chuckling a little.

"Yes," Carlos said, looking straight into Charles' eyes, his gaze clear and calculating and filled with understanding. "I guess I am."

Charles dimpled back at him.

"Another game?"
