Here's my tiefling warlock, Rhiannon! She's the niece of Zevlor, who practically raised her since parents were never around (they were famous adventurers.) She eventually moved to Baldur's Gate at 16 because she so desperately wanted to be independent.

She saw how the poor were treated and how the rich grew fatter; so she took up being a con artist because she knew she had a silver tongue. Robinhood esque steal from the rich, give to the poor, using her newfound warlock abilities to enhance what she was already great at.

Gonna talk a bit more about my idea behind this under the cut!!! :3 recommend reading for fuuuun

With your prompt/idea I pretty quickly settled on the 'cuno getting to express his creativity' line. And i just kept thinking abt how he'd probably honestly like to pin insects!! Its kinda gruesome and cool in the way hed like i feel, especially in this 'being adopted and better adjusted with time' setting! My idea was that he is at Lena's, visiting with Harry and Cunoesse. Cunoesse obviously did not want to get involved in that lame locust stuff, so she probably stayed with the adults to listen in(probably does not want to leave her safe person either). Lena set Cuno up with all he needs to pin insects(and also snacks and water lol), and since migratory locusts are easy to come by they probably have a bunch they couldve let Cuno practice on!! I wanted to show Cuno struggling and maybe getting frustrated with himself, but thinking about locust city, and maybe finding a real connection between his past and present in himself (through locust city, a project i felt was important to him at the time).

The locusts I referenced for this were specifically Locusta migratoria :)

On to the story

It was a day like any other, julieta was in the village healing the people and Augustine getting himself in another mess

But this time pepa was being constantly annoyed by her sobrina, “mirabel for the last time I’m reading a book, if you’d like I can read it for u but please stop pulling my arm one more pull and ur pulling it out of my socket”

“But im boooooooreddddd ugh why can’t we do something fuuuun everyone else is busyyy”mirabel groaned

“I’m busy too” pepa yanking her hand away which let mirabel fall on her bum and caused a little giggle to come out from pepa

“Reading a Book is busy? Ha as if” mirabel doing the Bordem gesture while raising a brow

Just as pepa gasped dropping the book, felix walked in

“Perfect, Felix please help me out mirabel wants to have fun but I’m busy” pepa pleaded

“No problem mi amor” felix assured

Felix went over to mirabel and helped her stand up and asked “so what do u wanna do?”

“I don’t know but I don’t want it to be a game where u old people enjoy it cuz that’s reallyyy I mean reallyyy boring” mirabel answered felix and pepa were stunned

“Okay then” pepa stood up smirking, “how about hide and seek”

“Okay also don’t try and get to worn out considering you’re old so I won’t be hiding really well so u can find me easily” with that said she skipped out of the room leaving her tio shocked and pepa whispered in his ear about the plan both shared a look of “you are so dead” and “just you wait”

She entered Antonio’s room and he wasn’t there so she tip toed all the way over to a big bolder and hid behind it covering her eyes

4 seconds later she heard the door open and close she knew they had just entered so she covered her mouth from making any noise

“Mirabel where are you~”

“I’m gonna get you~”

“Just you wait until I get grubby little hands on you”

As much As she wanted to make a noise she held it in as things were looking good for mirabel felt two slim arms grab her and pull her, she let out a shriek and look up to her tia with the widest smirk ever

“Hello sobrina~” she says poking mirabel’s stomach

“hahah hi lihsten Ihd love toh stay but I gohtta gho” she immediately tried to get up but was pulled back down by pepa and placed on her lap and teased “oh no, you’re not going anywhere”

Pepa soon started tickling her sides gently stroking it up and down causing mirabel to be in a fit of giggles

Soon the mirabel felt another pair of hands tickle her stomach, it was felix

Now mirabel is bombared from pokes and tickles from her quirky tio and tia

“Ahahahhehehehahah nohohohohohoh plehwhhahahseheh I thohouhuhght we are plahying hide and sehek” mirabel laughed

“Oh no sweetie it’s tickle hide and seek”

“Whehn did this behcohme tihckle edihtion?”

“Since now”

“You should have thought of that before calling us old” felix teased while mirabel was have the squirm of her life

And mirabel arched her back SCREAMING

“Oh no I’m afraid no mercy today sobrina” felix smiled before blowing a raspberry on her belly then rubbing his beard all over her stomach then giving her belly buttons a few kisses before going back to blowing raspberries

Tio felix stopped the raspberries and found a feather on the floor,

He sat on mirabel’s ankles and started to stroke the feather up and down her feet causing mirabel to shriek and try and reach over not until she felt pokes to her belly button on her which sent her to fall to the ground and arch her back

“NOHOHOHOT THEHE FEHEHET”

“Oh yes the feet~”

Felix then started to tickle her feet with his hands and mirabel was screaming using all her might to push them off

“AHEHE NAHAH”

“Awe look at how cute you look, you’re so red it’s adorable aw *mwah* *mwah* tickle tickle Sobrina~” pepa smiled

“Look at the little toes~”

When she fell into a silent laughter due to the tickling her tio and tia let up knowing she reached her limit

She was grasping for air Pepa placed mirabel’s head on her lap brushing her curls off her face and stroking her face while Felix is getting rid of the ghostly tickles by rubbing her stomach “you okay mira?”

“Yehep”

“Good” pepa said before land a kiss on mirabel’s nose

“Aheh nehevhr aghahihn”

“Correct” felix sat close to his wife helping placing mirabel on pepa’s lap

Pepa wrapped her arms around mirabel giving a few smooches before telling her to never call them old again and mirabel nodded her head quickly

All 3 laughed at mirabel’s reaction

After a few minutes of pepa and felix talking, pepa looked over to see a sleeping mirabel

Pepa immediately told felix to carry mirabel to their bed

And felix agreed carrying mirabel and placing her on their bed soon pepa was laying next to mirabel, cuddling her

Felix soon joined, cuddling both of them before drifting off to sleep while hugging mirabel in the middle knowing, no one will ever hurt her while they are here

“Come on, y/n! You can do it!”, you said to yourself, standing in front of the Bar 4/7. You have decided to go there and, finally, try to confess your crush to Ryu. He was the bartender-in-training of that bar and, also, a member of The Cat’s Whiskers. It had been hard for you to finally decide to give it a try, but you actually had. You were standing exactly in front of that bar’s door!!

You sighed, sure to enter, and went for reach the door handle, but stopped because the door opened, revealing exactly Ryu’s shape. He smiled at you immediately, as he talked to you:

“Kawaii-chan/kun! (Cute-chan/kun) Long time not to see you!! You came to visit the charismatic bartender Ryu-kun~?”

He hugged you smiling while you were blushing because of his cuteness.

That nickname he gave you... You remembered why he called you by that and immediately got more embarrassed. It was because he told you once you were cute while booping your nose. It made your heart beat so fast.. You thought you were about to pass out!

“Oh, uhm.. Hi, Ryu! I went here to-”, you said, trying to hide your embarrassment as much as you could, but end up getting interrupted by him. Ryu looked at you still smiling and then grabbed your hand, starting running into the bar, yelling that he had to show you something.

“Ahahahahah!!! Ryu-kun learned how to make a new cocktail last night!!! Kawaii-chan/kun maybe wants to try it!!!! Right~?”, he said, making you sit in front of the bar counter. Then he ran behind it and started messing everything up, trying to grab some glasses and bottles. He opened every drawer and cupboard and threw some plates and glasses he didn’t need onto the floor, just like girls do with clothes while choosing what to wear. You giggled. Surely Yohei would have scolded him later! It wasn’t the first time he broke something by throwing it onto the floor on purpose, just because it’s fuuuun~.

Then you cleared your throat and breathed, trying to calm down. You had to focus more on the reason why you had gone there to see Ryu. You had to confess your feelings to him, or well.. at least try to!

“Ryu, I-”, he interrupted you again while running among the bar’s chairs.

“WHERE DID I PUT THE SOCK?!”

You opened your eyes wide. A.. a sock? Why did he need a sock? What for?! You stared at him, seeing that white-haired boy jumping on tables, in order to see from above the bar’s pavement. Then he ran up the stairs, letting you alone.

You stayed in front of the bar counter with a quizzical expression and tried to listen closely to what was going on upstairs. There was basically the place where Shiki and Ryu used to live.

After some seconds you heard running steps again and then you saw Ryu turning the corner, jumping happily towards the bar counter.

“HEHEHEHEH!!! I found it!!!!”, he said and then put blue sock, which also seemed to be used and.. oof.. stinky, on the table, next to a cocktail glass and some liquors’ bottles.

“I’mma create something interesting here! You’ll be surprised by how charismatic I am!!”, he said changing his voice, as he usually did, to a more excited one. Then you saw him starting mixing some of those bottles together into that cocktail glass. You looked for some seconds still, a little bit confused and shocked. Was he going to use also that sock? Was it his or Shiki’s?... Probably Shiki’s.....

Alright, y/n.. You can try again.

You took a deep breath, closing your eyes, and then try to speak again:

“Ryu... The reason why I came here actually is..”, you pointed your eyes to that crazy white-haired guy, who looked at you back with a curious expression on his face. You stopped.

Damn.. It was harder than you even expected. Ryu’s purple eyes were staring at yours, while his movements had stopped and he was still there holding that blue sock with his right hand and the cocktail glass with his left one. You did have no idea what to say and you barely thought to be able to hear your own heart beating faster. You hoped Ryu couldn’t also spot your heart’s beat.

“I...”

Now or never, y/n!

“I came here because I-”

He interrupted you again by laughing and starting mixing those stuff all together into the glass: “Kawaii-chan/kun came here to see me, because they missed me!!!! They can’t dislike Ryu-kun because Ryu-kun is the most charismatic bartender they have ever me-!!”

This time it was you to interrupt Ryu.

“Shut up for a second and listen to me, would ya?!!!?!!?”, you yelled, standing up, putting your hands on the bar counter and pointing your eyes on Ryu’s ones. You both were so close to each other that you even could feel his breathing... His look was shocked. Of course he didn’t expect you to scream suddenly.

“I LOVE YOU, RYU-KUN. I LIKE YOU!! I’VE HAD A CRUSH ON YOU FOR A LONG TIME..!”, you screamed, closing your eyes while saying it. Your body was shivering because of anxiety.

After your voice there was only silence. You realized that the silence was so deep that you even could listen to all those noises which were outside the bar. You didn’t have the courage to open your eyes.. Who knows how he’d have looked at you? Or even what he’d have said to you?

What you really knew was that you loved him, you truly did. And you knew it could have seemed strange, but you truly fell in love with him, with Ryu Natsume himself, and loved him for the way he was, even if he was annoying sometimes.

But you had to open your eyes. You had to face the reality, to face his reaction and his thoughts about it. You couldn’t hide behind your eyelids.

You didn’t manage to open your eyes that you felt a pair of soft but cold lips onto yours. After that you realized it was actually Ryu’s ones. Was it really happening?! That kiss was so adorable.. You had no words. Between that kiss he only said: “𝓘 𝓴𝓷𝓮𝔀 𝓲𝓽..” with a deeper voice and then re-kissed you.

He.. He knew it?! How...?

After the kiss you looked at him blushing red while he seemed to have put his usual crazily happy expression on his face. You had so many questions to ask him! You were about to say something when he told you:

“Ahahahahah! Kawaii-chan/kun is as red as a tomato!! Should I change your nickname and call you Akai-chan/kun (Red-chan/kun)?!... Well... 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓵𝓲𝓹𝓼 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓼𝔀𝓮𝓮𝓽~.”

ughhh driving test in like 4 days eeeek T-T ok ive been practicing as much as i can so like idk i shouldnt be worried since ive been practicing as much as i can but like eeeeeek. maybe should practice parallel parking w/ trash cans 2mrw for funsies so i can get comfortable doing that and eventually drive downtown to the record store there (have a HUGE list of stuff i wannnaaa get bjork vespertine siouxsie juju beastie boys check your head etc) oh and should def practice in my actual car and not my sisters these next few days if i can or when i can. def should focus on practicing in my sisters more cause thats the one im gonna take the test in but like also dont wanna get too rusty w/ driving stick. when i get my license eventually i do wanna shift over to driving in it full time for real especially if i can get a CD player in it. spotify has me wanting to kill my self it sucks so hard. anyways after my test regardless of if i fail im gonan def try to go to the doctor for that thingy i have since its been abt a month (actually gonna mark exactly a month the day of the test) since i started noticing it so like idk thats actually had me down along w/ just life in general and feeling bad abt my body n shape n stufffff but like def gotta get tht checked out for sure. gonna be insane if i get my drivers license idk like ill probably fail it just cause i can get nervous n stuff but like once i get it someday its gonna be insane since ive been practicing on and off since like 2017.. mostly due to the fact that it wasnt until this year that it became clear that no one was gonna go sit in the passenger seat to practice w/ me so i just had to practice alone lol. like srsly was on and off since 2017 cause theyd just all consistently flake out and i couldnt practice alone but oncei realized i could drive decently enough alone and tht they clearly werent gonna go practice w/ me then i was able to get smthn consistent going and actually learn. scary thinking back tho like the mistakes i made first like two months or so of driving like not having any1 to correct my errors driving around trucks n scary shit lol... anyways yaa today was p ok i was p busy cleaning doing dishes n stuff BUT i did got to play f zero and puyo puyo a but which was fuuuun hope i can play these for a bit then straight up jump back into dark cloud and pikmin
