Hi! Sure I can. First, some links you might need: HSL Downloader for Chrome and Stream Recorder for Chrome they’re pretty similar extensions, so it’s really up to you. If you’re a mac user then I don’t know how to help you because I’m, how can I put it? Uh... poor.

Anyways, to the tutorial.

P.S.: I’ll put it under readmore because as you guys know I tend to ramble A LOT. 

P.S.2: As I pointed out on my previous ask, there’s this great tutorial from Val too. It might help to look at him. She uses jDownloader and it’s another option.

Now you just have to open the site ( that changed the url again ) so click here to access dizipal, and search for the dizi you want. As I said on my previous ask everytime I click on the Ara / Search bar it opens some new tab so I do what I do in most of the sites: I just write the thing on the url bar. How? Well, once you figure out how the site works it gets pretty easy. 

So, this is the url for the main page:

And you just have to add /dizi/name-of-the-dizi using - on the spaces. For example, here’s the page for Ask 101. Note that doesn’t use special characters, you can just write it.

This trick is very helpful once you start downloading the episodes, btw! See how the logic works? When you finish downloading the episode 7 you just change to 8 and press enter. And if you want to go to a episode from season 1 you just change the 2. It’s magic.

Now the download part starts, sorry about the useless ramble. Anyways. Once you click on one episode, or you write the episode you want on the url bar, it’ll open one tab with the video. You’ll press the play button that appears ( sometimes it starts by itself, tho ). First you get a reklami / the ad and you wait a few seconds to click to “reklami geç” to skip it ( very similar to youtube ). 

And then habemus episode.

Now what I like to do is to click play and wait for the video to buffer a little. 

If you already installed one of the extensions on your chrome, let’s go. I’ll be using HLS to explain here, but the other one works the same, I’m just lazy to install another.

On the tab your video is playing, you click on the HLS icon near the extensions thing. See? It’s this blue one where you can read HLS.

And something like this will appear:

TheN go ahead and click the arrow to get something like this:

See how it gives the resolution? Sometimes it’s HQ, but not always unfortunately. Then click on the arrow for one of the options and voilá, it’ll start downloading.

From here we’re pretty finished. You just have to remember to NOT close the tab. Once it gets on 100% it’ll start a download on your chrome ( similar to a png downoad ). After that it’s finished. I just won’t wait for the episode to finish because as I said earlier I am poor and my internet connection on this laptop somehow just refuses to download anything ( when I do this I use my other desktop, the same one I use for giffing ).

do you have tips on taking notes?

yes!! i have many, so i tried to make it easier for you to navigate :)

L O N G post ahead of you, covering lecture notes and readings notes, from a college senior :)

lecture notes:

i suggest using a notebook and pen, physically writing down. it’s easier to study, and since it’s using your body, you have a much higher retention rate on your side than if you use a laptop.

i have used my laptop for taking notes before. it’s easier to take more notes, word for word, but that’s not always helpful. maybe that’s your style, especially if you enjoy rewriting your notes all pretty and more successfully when you get home. i am not that girl. 

more notes does not always equal better! it’s good for you to listen actively, selecting what is important and what is not. i take very thorough notes. i take a lot of notes. if you need notes for a missed class, i. am. your. girl. that doesn’t mean i write out everything word for word. selecting details, clauses, and images really helps me to not only keep up, but also to memorize later. plus, when you’re typing, it’s easier to type all the words out without really processing the whole meaning. remember that dense notes are harder to study

finally, when you write by hand, you can get more creative with your style. occasionally, i’ll web notes out from one, rather than a traditional outline, bc it makes more sense for the topic

it also helps my anxiety! so much! if i force myself to take great in depth notes, then my mind has to dedicate more brain space to the task at hand than to my anxieties.

stick to one of these though. it really sucks to get into a test and realize you didn’t study half of your notes bc you forgot half were on your laptop. it’s awful lol.

if you use a laptop, get used to how it works first. do u know how much i resent trying to switch from a bullet that is under other bullets (like this one, not filled in) to a main point bullet (the ones filled in). it can be so confusing. also make sure you use a program you like. you can take directly into documents, but i find that i really love evernote, as i can make notebooks for classes, stacks of notebooks for my college, and that i can tag notes with specific classes and topics.

if you’re on paper, for fuck’s sake, divide your notebook into sections for classes. keep it all together. those notebooks with handy dandy dividers are so helpful, and they keep you from carrying around 5 notebooks at once.

i wouldn’t worry too much about highlighters and such in class. there’s just so much going on then. save highlighting and color coding for later, and count it as studying.

don’t worry about traditional outlining styles, with roman numerals or whatever. i take notes very simply. bullets/dashes, subnotes under a broad note. 

do it how it makes sense to you! maybe that includes different bullet styles, different places for different types of information (on a simple level, i start writing chapter numbers and titles as far to the left as i can go, over the margins, in bold and capital letters. i also usually go over these later in a certain color marker)

in some classes it is helpful for me to write the topic along the top of the page in a highlighter (color coding is lovely) the main idea/topic for each page. the classes this was most obviously helpful in were astronomy (COMETS or BLACKHOLES etc) and shakespeare (MUCH ADO ACT 2 or ROMEO etc)

it’s easiest to just note page numbers of referenced complex diagrams, as they are usually in your reading or accessible online

your style might look different in each class. whatever works.

note everything (everything) your professor writes on the board. if it’s important enough for your professor to write it, it’s probably important enough for you to write it.

note examples only if it’s helpful for your memory. however, make light note of things like famous people and their science/psych experiments. but in math and such, note! the! examples! and! reasons! will help you so much.

examples that have emotion, imagery, or sound are going to be more helpful. applicable examples are most helpful. good professors will lecture you accordingly. lazy ones will not.

star anything that the professor stresses or hints will be tested. anything that they say is a major theme or whatever.

note main ideas/points/themes, definitions, conclusions, 

use your tests to help you figure out what you need to know. ask questions about the tests too. in every class i’ve taken, i’m totally shocked at how willingly people ask about exam format and how willingly the professor will tell us how it will work. they want you to succeed.

people learn differently! i suggest taking notes in class and later adding touches that help you. count it as study time too. a warm up, if you will. 

if you’re visual, this might include highlighting, color coding, drawing diagrams, etc.

 if you’re an auditory learner, reading the notes out loud and organizing them accordingly, as well as making up rhymes, rhythms and such, might help you. some auditory learners actually like to record lectures and listen to them later. 

if you learn best through movement, rewriting or making flashcards will be great for you.

sometimes professors go really. fuckin. fast. why. idk? but

dont be afraid to ask them to go back a slide bc i guarantee, you will be the class hero for asking

develop a little bit of shorthand. sometimes i end up using initials, arrows, abbreviations… this is where i got “bc” and “thru” and “u” and such. lol. also, list things vertically, rather than using commas and “and/&/+) it’ll be more clear later

some professors you literally cannot take notes on. it sucks. you’re going to need to do the readings and pick their brains on how the test will be to figure out how to prepare. take home tests are your best friend. thank god for them. seriously. get your butt to church and do some worshipping.

if your professor puts powerpoints online, save the powerpoints, ya never know.

look at inspiration if you want, but remember that notes on studyblr are usually copied from class notes. if you’re too focused on how pretty your notes are, good luck to you

finally, the day before an exam, i review my notes that i have (hopefully) been studying. i like to make a one page cheat sheet / study guide on everything i didn’t remember, leaving out everything i understand, memorized, or want to disregard. 

reading notes:

ima be real and tell you i hardly ever do reading unless i will be tested on it in class in multiple choice. and im an english student. ye i suck, i know. i dont condone shirking the system but u know what, reading shakespeare or 18th century lit literally makes me want to kill myself. so, im a senior in college, and have barely ever done the reading for a class. the thing is, if you do it right, anything is better than just reading the words on the page and not getting the meaning. dont be a reading zombie. read actively, even if it’s not the actual reading. doing this, i have a 3.9 gpa. so. there’s hope for us yet.

first of all, yall need to do your damn reading. idc how. but due to the fact that a test will be multiple choice, essay answer, a presentation, or a paper, you’re going to not love pulling nothing out of your ass. can be done tho. just be fake deep.

that being said, i’m writing a lot below, but the reality is that if it’s lit, your notes dont have to be longer than a sentence. if it’s a textbook, more.

the same formatting question comes into play here, except it’s should you take notes in your book or in a notebook?

listen i’m always going to be pro notebook, pro physically writing it out as it helps me really get the information into my head, rather than more passively highlighting

i tend to do both, if im willing to mark up a book. i underline and highlight things that stick out to me, and i write them down as well. sometimes when reading literature/essays, if i know the contextual/meaning notes will be interesting to me later, i will copy notes both into my notebook and also less in depth onto post it notes (which also make sweet little flashcards btw), which i will stick into the passage. this is so helpful when a) im reading it again later and b) when we are discussing a passage in class

buy used books. it’s cheaper. until it happens to u, u do NOT UNDERSTAND how EXCITING it is to get a book that has highlights and underlines in it ALREADY. DUDE. my work is basically DONE for me. now take that lightly, bc often different ppl will highlight different pieces of information. however, it is helpful.

look up summaries. do not simply rely on cliffsnotes and sparknotes, esp since professors are very aware of these. google “title of book, summary, chapter notes, whatever youre looking for” and use the blog posts, the book reviews, the papers that come up. does this method probably take a bit longer? maybe? but it’s easier on my tired brain.

if you don’t have time to read your textbook one day and really want to, read the introduction and the conclusion to the chapter, or the first and last sentences to the paragraphs. it’s not great, but it’s something.

like your lectures, note definitions, conclusions, and helpful examples, as well as people and dates. if i’m reading literature and i’m deciding to be a smart student i will keep several logs as well. these logs will make it so. easy. to study for your exam:

updated character lists, including name, relationships, and anything defining and important

scene/chapter summaries, just a sentence summarizing what happened where

any quotes or themes that stand out

i highly highly highly recommend getting your hands on a copy of the well educated mind for note taking on a range of genres. this is what i had to use through high school and while it’s involved, it’s incredibly helpful.

if you’re going to have to cite your notes, note the page number in the margin every time you flip the page

the biggest issue i have with reading is when and where to do it. before or after class? always ask your professor if they do not tell you. where in your notebooks? i always do it on the next blank page bc leaving space stresses me the fuck out. make notes on the top of your pages of corresponding lectures/readings. 

for both lectures and readings i really really really suggest either having something to drink or something to snack on (think fruit, loose nuts, m&ms. small loose things rather than things u bite? idk they just last longer?)

okay i hope this was somewhat helpful even tho it’s an incredibly longwinded post. it seems like a lot, but the reality is that while i take a lot of notes, i don’t make them complicated, i don’t have rules, i just do what feels right in the moment. they’re not at all stressful. just take it easy and do whatever works for you :)

yun hyeran, a daegu native with an older and younger brother, an ambivert and an all around baby

tbh i don’t have much of her bg figured out, that’s always the last thing i get to so rip

buT she became involved in music through her father, who studied it in uni and ended up becoming a music instructor with a focus on piano, flute and vocals

her and her mom.. also her older brother, didn’t have the best relationship when she grew older, which seemed to die altogether when her parents divorced and her mom left. but her and her brother’s still exists, it’s just that he’s a bit of a toxic influence on her and she tends to distance herself from him

went to uni in seoul to pursue music like her father ( a daddy’s girl too like ) and found her way into the world of production !! by junior year, she’d transferred out of her original program and majored in that instead and has loved it ever since; she recently graduated

moved to jeju island bc an aunt lived there when she was young and she LOVED to visit, made a few friends there and would always whine abt the next time they could all go see her aunt again. so it made sense for her to live, at least for a little while, in one of her favourite places

she also adores said aunt, her dad’s sister and the maternal figure she Deserves, so she came partially to see her more often

for the time being, she works full-time as a barista at the café just a block from her cute little studio apartment while looking into internships at record labels for her to take on a little further down the line ( no rush bc it’s already quite competitive and she’d rather enjoy what she has going now )

she’s also making something of an income as the creator of an acct on youtube and soundcloud for her music, something she’s had for abt two years now

she’s not even close to making it big yet, and she doesn’t mind if she never works for a moderately to highly popular label — though she should if she wants to get by

among the aesthetic, lo-fi music crowd ( one of those yt accts with a livestream for certain playlists that go on for hours, rip ) where for the most part, it’s personal faves mixed with her own works, and has a substantial following as of now. but has an interest in experimenting, with mashups ( as a lover of them ?? i couldn’t help myself sgflkdsjg ) for example, with a small fear of how that change would be received

this is so short iK, it’s a little infuriating if you ask me ljkgdfjls

in terms of her personality and other things:

she’s a very loyal person, v e r y. while like i said, her relationship with her brother is Not Great, she hasn’t completely given up on him. maybe for the time being, but her being someone who’s open to the idea of people changing for the better somewhere down the line, leaves a bit of room for her to possibly change her mind if he does enough to allow her to consider it

so she can be a bit of a doormat in some cases, it all depends on how she sees the person that determines if that’s the case, but she generally won’t let you off if you’re being dumb/an ass to someone or if she gets advantageous vibes from you for example ( given she can.. be a little naive and is a p gentle soul ) so.. idk fgklsj good luck to the 99% ig ??

she does have a slight dependency on others despite her thinking all signs point to the opposite, and even though her and her mom never rly had a good relationship she still reels from the neglect/abandonment some days so handle her with Care if she deems you a close pal, 

spontaneous tbh, moving to jeju was a little last minute on her part, for one

she’s a little reclusive when focused on something, if she tells you she’s working on a track, it’s essentially a head’s up that you might not see her for a couple of days depending on how soon she gets it done — lowkey that bitch™ who makes up an illness to her boss, so she wouldn’t even show up for work if it’s more than just her fucking around

bc admittedly, a lot of what she posts is fucking around and liking it, her more thought-out and effort packed projects are hidden away on her laptop

a bit insecure with her work and just her general disposition ?? those first few points above mess with her a lot and leave her disheartened so.. my poor child

v strong overall, takes people’s shit and if it gets to her, she gets over it p fast. doesn’t dwell on much and will be courteous to you even if she’s declared you too toxic to stick around 24/7

And there’s something about it, something that makes Jonghyun feel soft and almost flustered even though they haven’t even really said anything.

It’s been a lazy day and an even lazier night, Jonghyun stretched out in bed, half under the covers with their phone in their hands and their stuffed animals close to their face. They’re warm and soft and sleepy in the way they always get when they lay down after they eat, but it’s that awkward time of night where it’s too early to go to bed but too late to take a nap. They’re sort of mindlessly just scrolling through tumblr, just to keep their eyes from slipping shut even though every few minutes, they’ll close and they’ll start to drift off.

But then his phone buzzes in his hand, startling him awake and forcing his eyes open to read the question he’s just gotten. It’s a short one, but it’s one that makes his heart melt and a soft smile spread across his lips. He almost doesn’t want to answer, wants to keep it like this, his, forever, but he wants a new friend more, and the person that’d asked it seems so cute.

It had been a few months since you started dating Luke. Everything was so intense. News of the two of you dating leaked after a little over a month (MICHAEL!!) but you were okay with it. You and Luke were pretty serious, spending every moment with each other, that is until he went on tour…

That was the toughest thing you've ever been through in any relationship, being apart like that. All the skyping, texts, snaps, phone calls…none of it truly eased the pain of being apart from him. You loved Luke, you realized that from the moment you laid eyes on him, and he loved you too. You knew that now. This was why being away from him and not being able to pull him close physically hurt you.

"Hey…just one more week babe…then I'll be right there" Luke said. You were currently having yet another skype call, you from LA, him from some hotel room far away from you.

"I know Luke…I just miss you so much…" You said, tears in your eyes.

"I miss you too Y/n…so much…but tour is nearly over then I'm with you for the next couple months"

"I know…I just can't wait to see you Luke"

"It's getting late…you should get some sleep. And babe, just hang on a few more days…"

"Alright. Goodnight."

"Goodnight. I love you" Luke said, blowing you a kiss and giving you a wink.

"I love you too" You laughed. Then you closed your laptop. Just one more week…

You were exhausted. Your shift ended late and you wanted nothing more than just fall in bed and sleep for a year. Of course there was no way that was happening. Your best friend of so many years you couldn't even remember decided tonight was Netflix night. The night where you both binge watch all the shows you guys were currently watching. So now here you were watching Sherlock at 3am. There was no way sleep deprivation was gonna keep you away from Benedict Cumberbatch. (Lol that was the first show I thought of, I love it tho…and him….) You both ended up passing out on the couch. Although despite the fact you both had no obligations the next day, you both routinely woke up early. Great.

"Ugh….we might as well get up" Jennifer said, after laying on the couch for 20 minutes, refusing to get up just as you were.

"Yeah…I know" You sighed.

"I call shower first!" Your best friend screamed, jumping up and running towards the bathroom.

"Jen!!" You laughed, getting up. You looked in the fridge for something to eat, and found nothing. Figures. "Fine! But you have to go grocery shopping!"

You heard a groan in response. You took that as a yes.

You made a list while she was showering. And by the time you got out of the shower she was already gone. You cleaned up the plates from last night, and too tired to do anything else you decided to just lay there on the floor. You closed your eyes, grateful for the soft, fluffy rug underneath you.

You laid there for awhile, and continued to stay there despite the fact you heard the door open. You kept your eyes closed, hoping if your bff thought you were asleep you could get out of putting the groceries away.  You felt someone sit down next to you, and knew she was going to drag you up and make you help her.

"Fine Jen, I'll help you, just let me stay here for five more minutes. It's your fault I'm so tired"

You heard a low chuckle, and felt someone hovering over you, nuzzling your neck. Your eyes flew open to see Luke mere centimeters away from you, his deep blue eyes looking at you with such love in his eyes.

"Luke!" You breathed, surprised, before kissing him. Hard. You ran your hands through his hair as you kissed him. He put his arms on either side of your head so he could lay on top of you without crushing you. You missed him so much, at this point you didn't even care you were making out on the floor. After all this time he was finally here with you, and to think you thought you had to wait until….

"Wait…you're not supposed to be here for 2 more days!! What...how?!"

"As soon as the last show ended I took the next flight back to LA. I'm missing an interview today and some management meeting but I couldn't bare to be apart from you any longer…I missed you too much" He said, leaning his forehead on yours.

"I missed you too" You smiled, placing your hand on the side of his face. He looked even more exhausted then you were, and he hadn’t shaved in awhile. Nevertheless he still smiled down on you. Then he pressed his lips against yours. His lips kissed you hungrily, desperate for more. His desire was intense, due to the time spent away from each other. You kissed him back with the same urgency. You pulled his hair, as he moved a hand down your body. He played with the end of your shirt, his fingertips grazing your bare skin as he slowly pulled the fabric up. Then you heard the front door to your apartment open.

"Y/n I couldn't find any of those chips we got last time. I'll have to check again tomorrow." Jennifer said, as she closed the door. She turned around to see Luke still on top of you, both of you with swollen lips and tangled hair. She barely lifted her eyebrows. "Hey Luke glad you're here! You can help bring in the rest of the groceries!" She said, smiling.

"Jenn, great to see you too. And I'd love to" Luke said, standing up. He held his hand out to you to help you up as well. You couldn't help but laugh, and felt your cheeks flush. Your best friend just smiled at you and shook her head, pointing towards the door.

November has come

monday: ran to utegym at polo fields and then ran back. went to spoke easy before they even opened and got a loaner stem, still needa order a real one. stuck my old bars on which kinda fit? (later on i tried to gun it on balboa bump and handlebars moved, soooooo maybe it doesn’t fit) went to school on that shit anyway no bar tape, so cold bars. COLD BARS COLD HANDS in arch worked on science room with ray, it was good and we made progress tuesday: sore from utegym cuz weak, did stretch (eric goodman), went to volunteering where i shoveled a hundred loads of wood chips and got a blister from hauling wheelbarrows of that shit. it was fun af tho cuz strong and also fatigue then went to work where it was chill af and the perfect amount of orders also it was halloween and i ate some candy. also sayaka put a eyeball bow in my hair cuz i was looking very unfestive wednesday: decided to be lazy and not go to utegym. then dressed super nice (in emily’s clothes) and didn’t even bike to school but i looked fly as fuck!!!!!!! and then got nothing done in arch. bussed home and read more of jacques pepin memoir which was so fucking good then biked to work more perfect level of work then biked home in less than 5 minutes cuz im fast af

saTURDay: transplanting at OH50 / work 4 dayz

sunday: BUILD TABLE went to discount builders for studs, carried them the 4 blocks to noisebridge, measured and cut our pieces, then sanded, then started nailing shit together. coulda done a better job planning cuz we then had to use wood glue cuz we didnt want to have the screws be visible. clamped and left it there to dry

monday: science room with ray at enchante, then bussed to noisebridge to meet emily and do minor sanding. took table home via uber

tuesday: volunteering (tired af) trapping gophers! / work (still tired af)

wednesday: school? what the fuck i don’t even remember cuz i’m tired af hung out with ray and we got no work done because we were just talking about food (and now i have to do a million fucking things), then work which was brutal

thursday: biked to get various errand shit in potrero hill / discount builders since we were going that way anyway and apparently every other hardware store is like $$$$$$$ because fucking idfk, bought some pants at xroads cuz one of my two pairs of jeans ripped on tuesday (in the bikeseat crotch area, same demise as all previous pairs of pants) (maybe i should get a new saddle) (with what money tho) (but actually maybe) then went to work which was brutal also now i’m home and uhh i have to do homework

also since i like to be stressed all the goddamn time i’m going to spend all of my free time browsing requirements for grad school

friday: wtf day even is it woke up worked on science room cuz ray couldn’t meet up for whatever reason who gaf (but also prolly i was more productive since i didn’t waste a hundred hours chatting) listened to a lot of ace of base a lot still listening to ace of base actually then went to work after i spent a hundred hours doing 1 insignificant af thing

work was ok started slow, then more orders, also ate a lot of candy in effort to stay alive talked to bosses after work and they said i was doing a good job but also seem to always be in a trance whenever im prepping. aka being slow af. okkkkkkk i will work harder on this also im dying and im prolly gonna cut OH50 tomorrow because i honestly can’t or i could just take the bus there and bring my laptop and work on science room project or i could not take the bus there and just work on science room project at home
