Maybe I have grown to love him, everything about him. Maybe I am willing to give up a lot for him. Maybe he loves me just as much.. But he will never love me as much as I do him.

The hardest thing about trying to detach myself from him is... He was the reason I got up each morning with a smile on my face, excited to get on with school last semester. He really was what got me through. He made me believe in myself. He helped me understand things I didn't. He made me want to be better; to be the best at everything I do. And all his stories about his experiences make me like him so much more as an individual. And that one time he told me his cheesy dream about how he wished his life went. His dream job. That gave me a peak into his heart and I wanted to get to know him so much more. It's going to be so difficult, but I have to try to distance myself because if I don't... I'm going to get hurt. I get so jealous already and I don't know shit about his current relationship status yet. I have a gut feeling but I don't want to believe it. I tried to stop falling for him but I think I already did.... Oh well, life goes on. I'll get through this. :)

How do you always manage to make me smile? Why is it that even though I know I'll never get a chance, something you do always makes me come back? I can control the feelings for a while but eventually I always break in. You always get me. You win. I just want to know what it is about you that keeps me coming back. Out of all people, why you? Why not somebody else that will actually want me back? Why you?
