a couple months after episode twelve, miya develops an anxiety tic—a neck twitch to the right. it’s not super painful—only if they’re really stressed, but it still freaks them out because what the frick this has never happened to me before ???

after two weeks of mentally freaking out, miya finally, nervously, approaches reki and tells him about their tic. or, they think it’s a tic but they aren’t sure. and they instantly feel awful because reki has actual tics and a lot of them what if he thinks i’m just making fun of or mocking him???

and reki kind of just casually laughs and explains to miya how a lot of people with anxiety, adhd, and autism tend to develop tics on occasion when they’re really stressed or just cause. that the difference between ts and a tic is that ts is having Many tics for most of your life and at the same tic, most commonly, people without ts that have tics have one, maybe two, and it doesn’t last forever. but it’s still completely valid of them and reki knows that they aren’t just making it up for attention or to mock him or to pretend he has ts.

and miya has that oh moment because wait someone’s telling me that i’m valid??? my feelings are… valid??? and swipes at their eyes and reki asks if it hurts and miya says that it does sometimes but not a lot, so then reki starts giving miya advice on what to do / how to help when it hurts, how to tell people if they ask, how to defend themselves if people give them crap for it,,,

just. yeah.

[no one asked, but miya got the tic because their parents were fighting again✌🏻because i said so and it stressed them out so much that an anxiety tic developed lol]

NINJAGO~ yeah, i started my account because i stumbled upon the ninjago fanfic “breaking earth” and fell in love with it and through that fic, i discovered ninjago tumblr and caved and i have zero regrets

i hate them. i hate them so much. they make me feel like a terrible person. tumblr is my safe space and where i go when i need silly fanfiction and fan art to escape from the terrors of the world (which i see a LOT of through insta--i do keep up), and seeing posts that essentially imply that you’re a terrible, cold-hearted human being for not reblogging stress me out even more. like. as a rule, if i see a post that says “you should reblog this” or some form of that, i don’t reblog it, even if i love the post.
