📽 TobiView 📽️ MONSTER HUNTER ▪️ Paul W.S. Anderson steht seit über 20 Jahren für mehr oder weniger gelungene Videospiel-Verfilmungen.  Er zeichnet sich nicht nur für “Mortal Kombat“ aus dem Jahr 1995 verantwortlich, sondern ist Produzent und Autor sämtlicher Real-Verfilmungen der Videospiel-Reihe “Resident Evil“. Bei vier der bisher sechs Filmen saß er zudem auch auf dem Regiestuhl. Wie auch beim Cross-Over “Alien vs. Predator“ ist er bei MONSTER HUNTER Regisseur und Autor in Personalunion. ▪️ MONSTER HUNTER ist eine Verfilmung der gleichnamigen Videospiel-Reihe aus dem Hause Capcom. Ich selbst habe bis heute noch nie “Monster Hunter“ gespielt und so fehlt mir entsprechendes Backround-Wissen und auch die spielerische Erfahrung mit oder in der “Monster Hunter“-Welt. Dies nimmt mir somit die Möglichkeit, den Film mit den Spielen zu vergleichen. ▪️ Milla Jovovich ist in der Hauptrolle der Artemis zu sehen. An Ihrer Seite spielt Tony Jaa den Hunter. Ein weiteres bekanntes Gesicht ist Ron Perlman, den man u. a. aus “Blade II“ oder den ersten “Hellboy“-Filmen kennt. ▪️ Die Inszenierung ist eigentlich gut, bietet gelungene Actionpassagen und kreatives Creature-Design. Der Auftakt ist mitreißend, auch wenn er Logik und Story fast gänzlich vermissen lässt. Auch das Ende ist effekt-technisch ansprechend umgesetzt. Das Problem des Filmes liegt dazwischen. Dem Mittelteil fehlt es deutlich an Substanz und so empfand ich Teile des Films schlicht überflüssig oder langweilig, da sie für die eh dünne Story irrelevant waren. Auch der zum Teil sehr aufgesetzte Humor war meist wenig lustig. Resident Evil: Afterlife celebrates it's 11th anniversary today

I watched this film due to the rise of the Delta variant of COVID-19 Pandemic.

After watching this film, I was shocked by zombie apocalyptic world . If Zombie mutan strain variant following Delta Variant were to become more realistic, The worlds are likely to become zombie apocalyptic world. I fully realized that there is no choice in this matter, but the only good thing about it is Vaccine Inocculation.

To end the Delta variant of COVID 19, I would appeaiate it if they could get vaccination twice and wear mask to protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID-19 until late in August as quickly as possible.
