My apologizes if some of you have been upset by my previous post when I said there won’t be any more expansion pack for the Sims 4 ... Of course, it’s not a fact until any official announcement but let’s face it : Country Living is 1 year old and none expansion has been mentioned in the EA/Maxis road map ................

So you see the point I suppose :/ but hey ! that’s not bad news at all and they can’t deliver what is missing in the core game ;) All EA can deliver is a kind of never-ending suite of kits and frankly, custom content creators made that for ages ! So, what’s new indeed ?

Anyway, the today’s post is not related to EA/Maxis but to a new volume of Classika Paintings :)

I must confess I love making some art for the Sims and I missed it for too long now ...

For this volume, let's get impressed by people. Except for the Monet and Van Gogh ( let's get impressed by them ) and the mountain but mountains are impressive. So, people ! People fighting the sea, or posing, challenging the eye to see them as they are or rather to see more then small details or standing cliché. To be fair, there is no great theme in this set. It is just a collection of masterpieces. Do they really need to be stack by themes ? Do we need to tag them ? To put them into boxes just to find them more easily ? Ah, order versus chaos. As per usual. The forever fight ;)

Zwischen A Coruña in Spanien und Le Havre in Frankreich liegen nun 593 Seemeilen (1098 km) vor uns, also wieder ein Seetag. Da uns das Frühstück im veganen Restaurant so begeisterte…was liegt näher als eine Wiederholung…zumal wir am Seetag alle Zeit der Welt haben und in Ruhe genießen können 😅

Und auch heute haben wir tapfer alles aufgefuttert 💪😅. Wir unterhielten uns ein bisschen mit der vermutlich einzigen deutschen Kellnerin an Bord (zumindest haben wir keine andere bisher gesehen, in der Regel wie schon beschrieben ist es asiatisches oder osteuropäisches Personal). Arbeitszeiten und Vergütung sind aber für alle gleich, eben italienisches Arbeitsrecht. Das betrifft auch Kranken-, Rentenversicherung etc..muss für die Zeit ab- und umgemeldet werden. Sie arbeitet 24/7 von 07:00-11:00 und von 17:30-22:00 Uhr, jeden 2.Tag zusätzlich von 14:00-16:30 Uhr. Verpflichtet hatte sie sich für 6 Monate, ist jetzt 3 Monate an Bord und ganz schön fertig, die Arbeit ist mega anstrengend und vor allem ist sie wie man unschwer erkennt, gefühlt immer auf Arbeit. Sie erzählte uns noch vieles mehr, ich glaube, sie war froh, mal ein bisschen reden zu können. Da wir den Tisch schon um 08:00 Uhr reservierten, war es auch noch ruhig und Zeit genug dafür, die anderen Gäste kamen erst deutlich später.

Unsere vollen Bäuche kullerten wir anschließend zur Ocean Lounge 🤪. Schließlich erreichen wir morgen die Normandie und wollen vorbereitet sein. Der Lektor Tobias Kuner informierte uns nicht nur darüber, wie aus Wikingern Normannen wurden, sondern beispielhaft auch über

die drei „C‘s“ = Cidre, Calvados, Camembert

die Austernzucht als wichtiges Exportgut

Geschichtliche Entstehung, als vor ca. 1300 Jahren der Erzengel Michael zum Bau einer Kirche aufgerufen hat…heutiger Klosterberg Mont Saint Michel im Wattenmeer mit größtem Tiedenhub der Welt (15 Meter! in den 6 Stunden, da kann man wirklich zugucken😅)

Die Ausflugsziele für morgen sind wirklich spannend. Nur Paris haben wir, wie bereits geschrieben, abgewählt, jeweils 3 Stunden Busfahrt hin und zurück und dazwischen 4 Stunden Stadtrundfahrt muss nicht sein.

Die Normandie:

Heute fahren wir durch die Biskaya und ein Blick aus der Kabine lohnt sich. Wir haben zunehmendes Verkehrsaufkommen 😅. Am Horizont sind wirklich in regelmäßigen Abständen andere Schiffe zu sehen, ich dachte schon, wir wären die einzigen weit und breit 😆

Das hintere Schiff ist ein 400m langes Containerschiff:

Ansonsten ist es wieder ein schöner Seetag mit viel Sonne. Wir merken, dass wir uns der Heimat nähern, es weht ne steife Brise bei 10 Grad 🤪. Wir lassen uns den Wind um die Nase wehen 😅

Wir brausen gerade (17:15 Uhr ) mit 19kn = 35km/h Richtung Ärmelkanal 😅

Neue Motivation - neuer Versuch!

Ein halbes Jahr ist vergangen, seitdem wir mit unseren Koffern Richtung aufgehende Sonne aufgebrochen sind. Seitdem sind wir überwältigt von den neuen Eindrücken und der Achterbahn der Gefühle. Mittendrin im Abenteuer und trotzdem täglich von der Realität eingeholt.

Seit einiger Zeit überlege ich, wie ich unsere Alltagserlebnisse am besten mit euch teilen kann und bin nun mit neuer Motivation hierher zurückgekommen - zu unserem Japan-Blog wie er es von Beginn an sein sollte. Vielleicht schaut der ein oder andere ab und zu mal vorbei.

Zum Beginn gibts ein paar Bilder unserer ersten Monate.

Nouvelle motivation - nouvel essai.

Ça fait six moi qu’on est parti avec nos valises direction Soleil-Levant. Depuis on est boulversé par des nouvelles impressions et toutes les émotions. Malgré la nouvelle aventure avec tous les bonnes côtés, la réalité du quotidien nous retrouve tous les jours.

Depuis un moment je suis en train de réfléchir comment je peux partager le mieux une partie ne notre vie avec vous. Maintenant je suis revenue avec un nouvel élan de continuer sur se plate-forme - sur notre blog du Japon comme il était prévu à la base.

it is time to talk about one of the GOATs. and for that occasion i chose the painting that gave a whole style of art its name. monet painted it from a window and wanted to call it differently in the first place. even though it aint one of my favorites of him, i can't doubt its magical touch. it just gives off the typical impressionism vibe. an everyday life situation, but with a special energy.

Impressão, nascer do sol (do francês: Impression, soleil levant) é a famosa pintura impressionista de Claude Monet, realizada em 1872. A pintura nasceu em Le Havre, porto francês representado na obra, com uma cerrada névoa sobre o estaleiro, os barcos e as chaminés no fundo da composição. A pintura em óleo sobre a tela está exposta no Museu Marmottan, em Paris. Monet deu à pintura o nome de Impressão. O "nascer do sol", que segue o nome da obra, foi adicionado pelo autor do manual da exposição. A partir desta tela, nasceu o movimento impressionista. Se tornou conhecida quando estava presente em um show independente. Um grupo de artistas fora do Salão de Paris disponibilizou as obras ao atelier do fotógrafo Félix Nadar, em 1874, em uma fracassada exposição, abatida pela crítica, que troçou, inclusive, do próprio nome do quadro. Na exposição constavam igualmente obras de Boudin, Sisley, Degas e Renoir. No quadro, consegue imaginar-se uma grelha (grade) por detrás da pintura, que Monet terá utilizado, sobre a qual, solidamente, são sobrepostas pinceladas de tinta sem grandes misturas, ou seja, as tintas originais. A sobreposição de cores originais, cruas, sem misturas, é uma grande característica da técnica impressionista, continuada a partir do momento em que os espectadores e os artistas se deram conta de que conseguiam obter resultados mais próximos da realidade.Embora fracassada, a exposição converteu alguns dos espectadores mais liberais a esta nova tendência, que viria, mais tarde, a resultar na Arte Moderna. Esta pintura rompeu com todos os padrões tidos até à altura e com as barreiras realistas que ainda sobressaiam. Como tal, a pintura marcou uma profunda revolução social, embora demorada.A idéia principal dos pintores impressionistas é fazer com que a imagem pareça, quase que completamente, iluminada pelo sol. Para conseguir este efeito, o autor implica à sua tela pinceladas em tons mais claros (áreas iluminadas pelo sol) e tons mais escuros (áreas sombreadas).
