But, perhaps that was his white hair fooling her into thinking he could somehow be related to Shinya.

Word travels fast, especially rumors about a spirit being seeing dancing on the lake in broad daylight. A group of fishermen discussing what they'd supposedly seen at the local bar after having been brushed off by the local paper. Just "senile old men telling stories again" as they said before chasing the group out.

However rumors such as these were the reason this town had any visitors, tourist intent on finding the supposed "blue spirit" that called the mountainous forests home.

Which, is why a hand suddenly slams on their table. A well built woman gazing down at the group, who go dead silent under her gaze.

She had heard about the nation from her Knights and the Traveler, but it was a whole other thing actually being there. The mood of Narukami island was very different compared to Jean's home nation, and she was getting the feel for the streets and bustling stalls.

Many things smelled good and she stopped at a stall that sold Dango, a treat she had heard was a favorite of many people. Asking for a stick, and paying for it she held it in a gloved hand, admiring it.

"Let's see how this tastes..." Putting it to her lips and taking a small bite. "—Oh, it's sweet!" Not expecting it, her cheeks flushed as her mouth tingled as she ate the piece. It was really good, and she fully ate one piece, walking around to a place where she could watch the water off the cliff side.

The brig always called his daughter either by her full name ( whenever she was in hot water with her parents) or simply Katherine, but never Kate. Her mother on the other hand did call her by her nickname, and sometimes, Katie. She absolutely will hate it if anyone else calls her Katie. On the other hand, since her father's passing, no one has called her Katherine since.
