Another super wonderful In Creative Company interview, this time with the radiant Jessie Mei Li. Very revealing, too. Especially regarding the pressure and time constraints of the production, and the changes, both from the books and from S1. Like chopping up Alina's story to make room for the fuckton of other things going on, which... poor Jessie, really. That couldn't have felt very encouraging. And they very much did nerf Darklina on purpose, huh? Any and all shipping aside, I honestly can't even fathom why would they purposefully want to make the story less interesting and complex, not to mention waste acting talent (honestly, you should be fined for making Ben Barnes play a cartoon villain) and a genuinely very rare level of chemistry. Especially since the end result was going to be more or less the same anyway.
I really don't want to hate on the show, but "interesting" choices were definitely made this season. *sigh*

Long (30 minutes) interview with Paddy Considine about HOuse of the Dragon.
I am excited to watch. I always wish the press stuff would also happen after we see the show, so press (I wrote we like I do interviews) about the actors' choices.
Like I remember being very excited they spoke to Richard E. Grant about Loki.
This is what YouTube is for in my opinion.

I just want to keep my job even though I don't know how to make memes. Buy our coffee. We've got holiday gifts for the coffee lover in your life.
Awesome Coffee is different because 1. we source our beans directly from small farmers collectives, 2. it's better and fresher than grocery store coffee, and 3. ALL of our profit goes to fight maternal and child mortality in impoverished communities, whereas almost all other coffee makes rich people richer, which is the dumbest thing that can be done with coffee (or other forms of wealth).

Hey maybe a group of creatives deciding that they want control over their content and don't want to waste time and resources begging for ad revenue is like. A good thing

yeah... gonna throw out a yikes on that one
i suspect this number will only keep growing in the coming days/weeks, especially the longer and longer we go without any sort of response.
EDIT: its only been three hours and the number has already jumped to 206K dislikes.

i love limbus ocs with unusual sources. like novel sources are cool and all but when i see a limbus oc whose source is a childrens story, or a myth, or a song, or a cryptid, or a niche historical reference, i get so fucking happy. if youre thinking of making a limbus oc but are worried cause your oc isnt based off of some novel from the 1800d. this is your sign. make that limbus oc soldier.
