100 Reasons Why Rocketshipping Is Superior To Any Other Pokémon Ship

(Part 1)

22. It’s honestly one of the only relationships I find realistic (compared to the 7-15 year old shippings like Bonnie and Max or May and Drew). I mean, they’re together all the time and sleep in the same room (or area, at least). They’re grown adults and have freedom to a large extent. And, well, it’s hard to imagine that they haven’t gotten spicy at least once 🤷🏽‍♀️.

23. People make the most amazing fan art and fanfiction for Rocketshipping, and even just Team Rocket alone. I feel like a large portion of the Pokémon franchise are just a bunch of talented-ass people. This isn’t a good reason but I just had to say it.

24. Episode 146 of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl, “Dressed for Jess Success!” James dresses up as Jessilina because Jessie is ill and can’t show up to her Lilypad contest. Jessie’s pissed at the end bc James wins and people like him as her more than her as her. At least they hug, though. Like, genuinely. It’s fking adorable.

25. They’re just cute together.

26. James knows Jessie well enough to understand her tough exterior.

27. Jessie could’ve totally wanted to stay with Dr. White (ep63 of XY) and try to get him to love her and not that 4’11” chick or something. BUT NO. Every time their trio has tried splitting up, they always find their way back to each other.

28. I can’t see them with anyone else that would end up being long term. Otherwise, I totally ship Faba (or Bitch- I mean, Butch) and James or Cassidy and Jessie.

29. Their hair colors are supppperrrr complimentary.

30. The episode “Training Daze” showed the true relationship of Jessie and James. James falls on top of Jessie and it’s the best thing ever. Well, the best thing NEXT to the thought that they would’ve kissed in that moment.

31. The fact that a ten year old can kiss another ten year old means that two twenty five year olds can MOST CERTAINLY GO FARTHER.

32. There’s so many fans of this ship it’s crazy.

33. Anti-Rocketshippers? Never heard of them.

35. This is more about Team Rocket in general but they just make an episode so much more interesting.

36. They literally can’t not be together, okay.

39. The writers know exactly what the fuck they’re doing when they make a Rocketshippy episode or moment.

40. Meowth would totally make fun of them, and Wobbufett would join in.

41. They both have shitty backgrounds and came together because of that. It was bound to happen.

42. James loves Jessie. 100%

43. Jessie loves James too.

44. Even if that love is mutual, it’s still there.

45. They can flaunt their gayness and still look absolutely amazing together.

46. There are so many songs that describe their relationship. For example,

48. They wouldn’t be the typical couple, and be like completely straight and have a big family or whatever. They would probably have the craziest wedding ever, a lot like @musashi said in a post. And they would be two bisexuals that crossdress together every now and then and it would be absolutely amazing.

49. Jessie’s emerald earings look a lot like James’ eyes and ahhabsjahahagab I love that.

50. Writing fanfiction or drawing some fan art is super fun because there’s so many scenarios that they could be in.

I tend to start with "for me personally" and explain that I'm in the middle of boy/girl but that others experience it as an entirely seperate gender. But that the term enconpasses a lot of different experiences and it's different from person to person.

I'm planning to major in percussion for college and that's my life rn basically

Billie is actually my birth name but the last name I want just kinda,,, came to me since I hate my actual last name. I also don't want a middle name at all.

15. If you're in a relationship, how did your partner react to you coming out?

Well, almost three years into dating she came out to me so. Also, I was out before we got together so if she doesn't like it then idk what to tell you.

16. What term do you prefer when in a romantic relationship?

I use the word partner to describe myself and the person I'm dating. It makes it easier on everyone.

17. A piece of advice for questioning kids

Question away! Try as many labels/pronouns as you want! Figure out what works for you! I'd recommend starting in a small trusted group and if your first try isn't it, try again!

18. Which flags do you use?

The nonbinary one and the bi one! Those are the ones I identify with the most

19. Any tips for bad days?

Get out of bed, shower, change into clean clothes, and eat something. That's all. I know what it's like to have even just that be exhausting.

so im kinda getting estranged by my mother tbh like i was quite explicitly told that im making a “lifestyle choice i dont agree with” and that she “cant recognise me” (like, my face is a different shape but what she means is that im not like, rolling over and taking her abuse anymore) and i cant be like taking hormones and using a different name and expecting to be like, part of the family yknow. and like, her partner will just follow suit and ive already estranged my older sister lmao and like, highkey im not confident i’ll get into 3rd year and like, yknow. on a triangle of ‘disowned’ ‘trans’ and ‘drop out’ im pretty sure i can only handle two and like, v v highkey i want to just like, kill myself and avoid the whole thing and like, i’m v aware that, other than this one medically induced manic episode in march/april, ive had passive suicidal ideation for like, almost my entire life and ive never done anything about it. idk im v greatful for the valid people in my life rn, im v happy that ive got like, decent people i know irl and online that just kinda, make it seem like a temporary problem? and recently ive had a lot of experiences where ive been able to like, be good for someones life, esp w like, i run the trans forum at uni right, and we’ve had a couple moments where like, people’ve got to see like, other trans people in groups, and just be like ‘huh, we’re not freaks and perverts huh’ and its been good for them and i kinda just wanna keep living for those moments and all these rly cool moments i get to have w my friends and like, ive got a lot of good books im excited about rn, and ive got some money in the bank i dont want them to get, idk. ik a lot of people in my life get really tetchy when i talk about like, suicide after like, i actually tried, and thats fair but like, for the last idk more than 10 years its just been passive and ideative and thats sad but its also like, mostly benign and i dont want people to worry about me. i kinda think im too late to get a summer internship now i had two interviews and i failed one and i dont want to work in a care home all summer and i kinda want to piss off to glasgow and stay w finn and thats not an easy option but i think it’d be good for me like idk what work i could do in glasgow but i could do some shitty job right,i dont have to do internships now i guess, idk im really tetchy about experience and esp trying to get experience where a change of name isnt an issue. yknow, like job hunting is demeaning enough without revealing a priori youre tranny, idk like, i have a zero hours job in aberdeen but i wanna move out like, asap, like i cannot be here, its just v scary to be in an environment where youre like, actively hated. idk like she didnt harbour any particular hatred to trans people before this like she knew a trans person from my school and used his name and pronouns but idk, maybe i shouldve seen it coming after how tedious she was about me being a faggot like, idk she got over that after a couple months but she just, doesnt want to budge on this, like she sees me using my name and taking hormones and having trans friends as like, an actual insult to her raising me. shes just like I Picked Your Name, I Raised You A Boy, Therein You Will Be And Anything Else Is An Insult To Me As A MoThEr yknow like, god, its not a big deal yknow, you get 2 daughters or you get 3 idc what you do with that fact. and sure, i consider it entirely her problem that she hates trannies but like, being trans AND disowned AND a dropout is just like, too much for me i think like, theres no shame in that life to me but like, theres also no dignity. like theres no dignity anywhere but idk if i can do it yknow. also like, and i hate to like bring up sex work when talking about trans hardship bc it feels like a boogyman trans girls bring up to scare eachother but, idk if i can go back to that?
