Sure, the coronavirus is inconvenient. It's disrupted life as we know it. Here's what I'm noticing. This forced slow down is, for me, a gift of time. I think some other people might agree. When Carter and I go for our daily wall, we are noticing more people having pride of ownership. Homes are being cleaned, spruced up, and remodeled. I'm noticing more homeowners taking time to play in the dirt. Yards are blooming with pride. I am hearing that people are engaging in real, in-depth conversations. People are taking time to reconnect, write letters that get delivered via the good ol' U.S. Postal service, and reading more books. I believe that a higher power and mother earth knew we were spiraling out of control. We were filling our daily schedule with things to do and not taking time to really breathe. We were filling our homes with material things. Were we really enjoying this one life? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. This is mine.
