Chapter 2: Flying in brand new
(Also read on Wattpad)
First day of school and Lottie is pretty excited.
Something about the first day of school made Lottie very optimistic. She's not really glass half full, but she doesn't think she is half empty either. She's just glass that contains a liquid of some sort.
But maybe it was because Jo was back and she had a friend at this school who would actually accept her for who she was. But on the same time, the rumors about them would go crazy if it gets to certian people so she was a bit nervous.
She said goodbye to her parents, and the pets in the pet shop, and walked to school. On the way she saw a very cheerful Jane
Look out I am here it's gonna be different this-
"Oh, sorry Janey."
"It's fine." Jane said with a smile. "You seem pretty optimistic today, Lottie."
"So do you. Let me guess, excited for the pep rally? Heard you've been working on it with Buddy."
"Yes! If- when everything goes perfectly, I'll have the votes for student council!" She squealed. "What about you? You're not much of an open book so I don't have a guess."
"Well, my old friend came back to Rydell and I'm pretty excited to have her back."
"That's nice. Hey, How's Gem? Haven't got to see her in a while."
Gem was a calico cat Jane brought in when they first met. Since Jane's sister is allergic, Lottie offered to take care of her for Jane. "Oh, she's doing great! She misses you."
"Aww, I'll have to visit her tomorrow!"
Lottie spotted Jo from across the distance. "Anyways, I should get going. It was nice talking to you and good luck running for Student Council!" She waved to Jane and walked over to Jo. "Hey Jo!"
Jo waved to her. "Hey, who were you talking to?"
"Just Jane. She moved here earlier this year and she sometimes visits the pet shop because She can't take her cat home."
Jo gasped as she started walking with her. "Jane Facciano? I heard she went all the way with Buddy Aldriege. And she had a real reputation in New York."
"... I doubt that's true. She's just a bubbly nerd." Lottie shrugged. "And I wouldn't be hanging around her if she did it."
"Okay, but still-"
Lottie stopped her. "She's fine. Plus most of the rumors that go around here aren't even true."
Jo sighed. "Touche. Well, what class do you have first period? I have chemistry."
Lottie took out her schedule. "Aw, looks like we can't bond in chemistry! I have ASL."
Jo laughed. "American Sign Language? That's pretty handy if you ask me. Well I'll see ya!"
"See ya!"

Magic Moments
Chapter 1 It’s got groove It’s got meaning
(Also read on Wattpad)
It’s the last day of summer, and Lottie runs into an old friend
Grease is the word it’s the word that you heard it’s got groove it’s got meaning
Grease is the time is the place is the motion grease is the way we are feeling
"Is that Brainy Janey?"
"In buddy's jacket?"
"No way."
"Right?"
"Awwww!"
"Oh gee."
"Where did she get that?" Dot asked, then realized her lollipop got stuck on her sweater. "Oh, crumbs!"
"Susan's going to be crushed- I better go tell her!" Rosemary said.
There was a ton of chatter and whispers going around. Charlotte "Lottie" Lewis was just walking with her popcorn. She was curious about the whispers, so she asked a nearby thespian. "Jane Facciano is going with Buddy Aldrige!"
"No way..." Lottie replied. "You have to be pulling my leg. A nerd like her? Date the most popular football player in-" She spotted Jane and nearly dropped her popcorn. Paired with her colorful summer dress was a bright red varsity jacket with the letter R on it. "Well, good for her I guess, I just wasn't expecting her to go steady with someone like him."
Lottie decided to head to the bathroom. She noticed her old friends, the soc girls, bump into Nancy Nakagawa. "Weirdo, watch where you're going!" Rosemary said.
"Move it!" Olivia Valdovinos yelled.
"Didn't think she'd show her face again." Rosemary commented, which made the socs laugh. Lottie just continued on, passing by the T-birds and Cynthia Zdwonski, a tomboy Lottie was not too familiar with.
While in the stall, she heard Crying. She poked and noticed the socs running in and comforting Susan. Soon Jane came in. "Sorry."
"Have a fun summer, Jane?" Rosemary asked.
"Yeah, have a fun summer?" Dot replied sarcastically.
"Dot! Don't be rude!" Susan said. "Sorry they were just being protective because Buddy and I used to go together." She sobbed. "Oh, but that's ancient history. Now you're going with him, Steady. That makes me... so happy."
"It does?" Pearl asked.
"Of course. When Jane came to Rydell last year I really felt for her. I saw how she got teased for her accent and those funny colored socks she wore, which I liked. I suppose I shouldn't have worried though." She sighed "Looks like you fit right in." She said through sobs
"Susan I'm sorry I-" Jane started
"See you later, Alligator." Dot said as she left. Lottie waited for the socs and Jane to actually leave before going back outside.
"Hey, Lottie!" Lottie froze as soon as she went outside, she could recognize that voice from anywhere. She ran up to the girl who said that and pulled her where nobody could see them. "Woah, what's eating you?"
"It's good to see you Jo," She hugged Josephine "Jo" Miller. After a bit of hugging and laughing, she broke away. "It's a long story but everyone thinks you are a guy and we're dating." Lottie said.
Jo snorted. "Can't wait to see the look on everyone's face when they find out I'm a girl."
"You go by Josephine to everyone else, you hate it when someone that isn't me calls you Jo." She playfully hit her. "What brings you back to California anyways?”
"We are moving back, it's a long story but I'll tell you later." Jo said. She looked around with a mischievous smile before playfully tackling her into a hug.
"Hey!"
"I missed you." She laughed.
"I missed you too, but please get off me."
"Not until I do... This!" She squeezed her tightly to startle her.
Lottie let out a shocked squeak then laughed. "Well, I see you're still a goofball." Then dramatically gasped. "Are you still..."
"No, don't you dare-HAHAHAHA STOP!" She covered her sides to prevent Lottie from tickling her any more. "Well you're still a bit of a goofball too!" She said through her laughter.
Lottie laughed. "Okay, sorry. I couldn't help myself." She stopped. "Hey, the movie is starting, wanna watch it together? We have so much to catch up on."
"Sure, let's go!"
